as a whole you know a lot of people are cynical angry pessimistic and bitter because we were promised a Pony and what we got with a donkey with some duct tape on the nose you know we woke up in December of 2024 and everybody had a lot of hope you know i was in discussions about the Crypto Zar thing meeting the senators we were looking to a new administration

a new way of looking at Crypto the end of the gensler era the American war on Crypto was coming to an end and we knew that there that four year super cycle that we were entering into another year and we said oh a lot of liquidity is going to i was in an interview with them they kind of asked about it like what happened why do we have such a bizarre market

you know where did we go wrong in all of this so first off institutional money did come in but they got locked into the Bitcoin layer and because of the structure they can't sell the Bitcoin and go buy altcoins all that value accumulation that entered in through the institutional side it stuck the Bitcoin but it didn't triple down so we lost our triple down effect that we enjoyed in 2021 and 2017 and beyond that

i had sent 10 people to the inauguration they're running around they're having fun they ran into Jake Paul and Mike Tyson he was giving Mike Tyson a piggyback ride they were high on munchies and that day at the inauguration ceremony they launched Trump coin 大家能想象吗 在一个极其重要的一个会议上的时候 把所有的 咱们的重要的创始人都邀到白宫去 结果是什么

结果发表了Trump Coin特朗普的Meme Coin First i thought it was joke i said holy shit Trump coin what the fuck is this thing kind of like that joke pesky what the fuck is that thing it was pretty crazy we're like what are we doing here this is nuts and okay came out i guess it's a new administration they just want to shake things up a little bit maybe it's a hamfisted

attempt to show endearment the industry as a whole but then they launched melania 本来认为说啊 因为有Trump Coin 也可以增加一个热度对吧 可以让大家能够进入到市场上啊 只是想要一个说一个新的政府 想要去发表一下自己的一个态度 对于加整个加密货币的一个态度 结果呢又被打脸了啊 Melania Coin又来了啊 and there was just it was just so clear

that these were cash grab situations in we as an industry had to just take it on the chin because we were hoping for a more permissive regulatory structure so i said all right it is what it is you know let's just take the good move forward more than 20 people interviewed for that Crypto Zar they just picked somebody who didn't interview who's best friends with Elon Musk is an operating officer for him

it's kind of a podcast bro there's no real significant connections in the industry as a whole didn't build anything in this industry doesn't know this industry very well just buy stuff in the industry like Solana and so forth okay 所有的重要的会议 都是请了一些 对于整个行业没有任何贡献的人 只是有钱买了行业里的币的那些人 比如说Solana的人啊 参加这个采访

is that retail did not return and the answer i get to that is why should they what has this industry offered retail to return retail showed up in 2021 they were excited they were enthusiastic the cab driver was there the waitress was there the construction worker was there everybody was excited about Crypto 我们最主要的一个问题 为什么咱们币圈

怎么2025年一点风声都没有的 原因就是因为liquidity就是流动性 那还有一部分也非常非常重要 就是我们散户投资者 不进来加密货币了 大家可以看到一个一个情况 就是咱们今年 或者整个这个四年周期啊 2021年以后的这四四年里头 散户投资者对于加密货币的热度 比起2021年以前是远远不及的 远不及的

很多人根本就不进来啊 为什么 and then they got screwed they got screwed again and again and again and again and again and they got roped into buying nfts they have that million and a half dollar Banana pitcher nft and all this other garbage 2022 decimated wiped out and made a lot of people very disgusted and angry with 就是我们所有的散户投资者们

都被戏耍了 只要进来就亏钱 只要进来就被亏钱 只要进来就被亏钱啊 孙宇晨花了6.5 million 650万美元 就为了买一个 有个胶布缠在香蕉上的一个NFT 大家能想想看吗 这种很荒唐的事情都能够在那发生啊 所以导致了炒股投资者们 到最后觉得很恶心 他的原话就是觉得很恶心 非常的愤怒啊

我进来干什么来了 我进来给你们送钱来了吗 so there's always this question of do we learn our lesson as an industry and do we try to build something better and more sustainable as an industry and instead the answer was memecoin mania and doing a memecoin of a memecoin of a memecoin of a memecoin every time i post a picture someone creates a memecoin and then spam my Twitter with the hope that they can get rich by dumping on retail

NFT完了以后 大家觉得说哎 我们该出来一个新的东西了 结果新的东西是什么呢 是Meme Coin啊 是一个狂潮 Meme Coin狂潮达长达2年到3年的一个狂潮 所有人都在那申Meme Coin 快速的去发表任何Meme Coin 就是认为有散户投资者 愿意花钱赌Meme Coin 然后他们能从这里头从从中套利啊

散户投资者们成为那个牺牲者 然后每次Charles Hoskinson随便发一个Twitter 都会有一个Meme Coin出来 你们想啊 这个这个 这个多crazy 多么多么的根本就不敢想象 那个狂潮是多么的疯狂 多么的恶心啊 and even legitimate projects like midnight there were a lot of people trying to short sell it at negative 800 percent i mean it was insane when you looked at some of these things on the perks market

short selling because they're just pre programmed in this mindset that everything is a scam everything is dumped the token on people 那最后的结论是什么呢 所有吃了亏的人 大部分人都是吃了亏的人 而这些大部分人吃了亏了以后 会认为什么 认为的是整个加密货币市场 就是一个整个 就是一个SCAM 就是一个骗局 你进来了以后就是亏钱的 进来以后就亏钱的 发现了一个什么在涨

追进去了 然后亏钱 以致真正那些做有真正价值的项目 就是那些真的背后 在实际在为整个加密货币市场 整个区块链技术在做贡献的那些项目 也会被大部分人认为这是SCAM 包括Cardano 好吧什么不被认为是SCAM Solana Solana到底是什么 那些迷因币 到底是怎么能够快速的 能够发到市场上来的 全都是因为Solana

想想看Solana上面的迷因币到底有多少 它的TVL到底是怎么来的 大家自己去考虑 and in 2026 the question is are we offering the same what we offered in 2025 or are we going to do something different and new as an industry i can't control Macro as the ceo of one company who builds one or two protocols but what i can do is offer some advice you know and the advice has to be a return to first principles

no government is coming to save us no large company is coming to save us no large investor is coming to save us there is no cavalry that's coming to save us we are on the island and we as crypto have to decide whether we want to make a compelling case to bring people up bring people down and it starts with the vision of the future 这个就是Charles Hoskinson想给我们的建议啊

the last four years is we said your goal in the industry is to buy at price point x and sell at price point y with y higher than the delta is your profit where you go back to the legacy system which you're supposed to be out of then you're gonna go use that to buy stuff maybe stuff you need maybe stuff you don't need maybe pay off debts whatever but a financial freedom that's what you're selling

我们想要的就是赚钱 赚钱再赚钱 How can you sell that and not have it be a scam how how is that possible it's a rigged system 99 percent of people will lose their money so that is what you're selling Gensler has a point there's no path forward for value appreciation to occur unless you created a utility or service that creates natural consumption

everybody wants to be rich they want to be the big entrepreneur you're entrepreneurs you've got to do the work you've got to make the change that's why 99 percent fail after it's all said and done because they don't really actually want to build the product they don't actually want to embrace the chance of failure and these types of things the vast majority of people will fail in any business endeavor

不是说Solana这个项目不好 Solana这个项目本身是非常好的 它提供了一个非常便利的条件 是能让它很多很多的开发者 能够通过Solana这个平台 能够快速的启动它的start point 也就是它的开发的 起始点是非常非常低的 是非常非常低 非常非常容易的 结果有人利用了这个点啊 他利用了这一点去挣快钱 而不是说利用这一点

我能够开发更好的东西 能开发能够更快的 能够开发出来 能够被我们用到的 真正有用的东西啊 这一点真的是 所以那些Meme Coin啊 99.9%都会掉 这就是为什么all Coin season 山寨季不会来的真正原因啊 就算我们下一个山寨季还会来 嗯大家知道的 只有真正有用的项目才会用 迎来新高啊 其他的 随他们去吧

好吧这个就是我们能够持有Cardano 这么多年 无论Cardano的Ada的价格是高还是低 我们都不会卖的根本原因啊 and what we do has always been about changing things and having a group of people around them actually believe in the future so if we want to win 2026 we as an industry have to ask that fundamental question are we here to change things or we not

and if we want retail back we have to say as an industry we're sorry and we have to return to first principles and find a path to actually continue the work that satoshi started if we as an industry aren't willing to do that they won't come back we don't deserve them we haven't earned them and we're going to find out that the original degens of degens Wall Street are ten times worse than anything

we've ever done to each other they'll kill you so fast and they're so smart and they're so sophisticated and they're so capable and now they know everything about us and now they have native access to us their killer is beyond killers and after they're done sucking all the liquidity and value out of our bodies and dried husks then they'll sit the regulators on us to make sure that we never come back from the grave

private smart contracts what's that about it feels different you know we could take all these dows and all this money and they keep saying we put a business on a Blockchain we can put a business on a Blockchain RealFi is going to have a co op with it and i want to put that co op on the Blockchain we're going to take reeve and modify that thing a little bit and add a privacy layer to it

let's find a path to have a cooperative run and have an actual Dow for the first time ever really beyond watching why not let's do it put our money where our mouth is let's try something different and new and interesting 只有有新的东西进来了 只有让所有的散户者觉得 这是一个正确的一个方向 能感觉到这里的整个市场 又生机勃勃了 整个加密货币市场又有生机了 不像原来乌央乌烟瘴气了

没有那些所谓的Scam 没有那些所谓的快钱 大家才有兴趣 大家才有兴趣能够重新进来啊 所以大家想要在2025年2026年 2027年2028年能够看到整个加密货币市场 区块链能够重新走入正轨 能够健康成熟的发展 我们就应该脚踏实地 抛去那一些想要赚快钱的一些事情

让我们做一个价值投资者 让我们真正找到真正有价值的项目 让我们去support 让我们去支持他们 我们投钱 我们买了 我们就来支持他们 让他们能做出我们真正想要做的东西 这也就是为什么 我会重仓Cardano的原因啊 大家的很多人会认为说 你为什么花这么多钱去重仓Cardano 因为他真的是做东西啊
