Summary
## Key takeaways - **Daily Winning Streak**: Write down one memorable win from each day in your journaling system, taking just 5 seconds. [02:31], [03:22] - **Journal Everywhere**: Practice pocket journaling, daily journaling, on walls, computer, or hand—anywhere, everywhere, for 5 to 15 minutes two to four times a week. It interprets life from conversations, podcasts, books, and thoughts, providing clarity and grounding to approach situations level-headed. [04:30], [05:15] - **Quit Porn by Labeling**: Label pornography addiction explicitly, tell friends and even the internet, track it, and fight daily urges by gaining awareness through simple actions like laundry, shower, or 20 push-ups. These are the five habits that I tracked religiously over the course of [music] 2025. And by being consistent and taking
2025. And by being consistent and taking back control of my fears, they have transformed my life in ways I couldn't even imagine.
I'm talking getting to work a [music] job I feel passionate about, having real, honest relationships, looking and feeling healthy every single day. And I
feel like I'm stepping into who I'm meant to be.
>> But before you say it, I know what you're thinking. Why is only one habit
you're thinking. Why is only one habit labeled in red?
Well, I'll just straight up admit it that this was the habit I was most ashamed of, the one I avoided speaking about for months. Not surprisingly, this bad habit taught me the most about
change, but [music] we'll get to that later in the video. Here's what I need you to understand. This is not the five quick, easy fixes on your life. These
habits were tested over the entire year.
It was hard and I failed a lot more times than I can even count. Now, they
are ingrained into my lifestyle. By the
end of this video, you're going to know how each one of these habits work, why they matter, and how you can implement them into your 2026. Now that I have
your attention, let me take you back to where this habit obsession started. 2
years ago, I was stacking shelves at a part-time job [music] Iing hated.
Earbuds in self-help podcast on [music] repeat for hours. I fantasized an escape I didn't know how to build and definitely couldn't afford to build. As
a result, I was headed down a path of acceptance. University was comfortable.
acceptance. University was comfortable.
Part-time job paid for my lifestyle.
[music] Partying in the summer was fun. Standard
habits of a 20-year-old. But I was well aware that I was in the worst place of my life. It didn't make any sense to me.
my life. It didn't make any sense to me.
I was doing the normal things 20-year-olds do. But then I got my heart
20-year-olds do. But then I got my heart broken, and that really shook my life up. I wasn't being creative anymore
up. I wasn't being creative anymore despite it being an integral part of my being. And in this time, I had no idea
being. And in this time, I had no idea who I was. And that's when it all flipped. [music] I started to look at my
flipped. [music] I started to look at my habits. I'm actually so grateful for all
habits. I'm actually so grateful for all those hours spent listening to those self-help podcasts because it made me realize that to forge the life I wanted, I just had to take the action necessary
to start doing and realigning my habits, my life into being that guy instead of just fantasizing about being him. So,
[music] here is the secret source. Also,
subscribe if you're sexy. Habit number
one, a [music] daily winning streak.
Now, this can come in all sorts of different formats, but I have this thing in my journaling [music] system where I write down one memorable thing from that day. That's it. One sentence, one
day. That's it. One sentence, one moment [music] one win. It takes 5 seconds. But here's
one win. It takes 5 seconds. But here's
the crazy part. Two weeks ago, I was listening to a podcast and they started talking about this concept [music] called delusional optimism. The idea
that you can stack wins every [music] day for the rest of your life and literally become a winner just by acknowledging them. For some reason,
acknowledging them. For some reason, that hit me like a truck. Because I
realized that I'd been doing this for an entire year, completely unaware that I was subconsciously wiring myself to think and be a winner. So, I took the
time to look back through the past 12 months of what I'd been writing down.
And not surprisingly, there was a common trend amongst these moments. They were
all written from a [music] positive viewpoint. For example, sick day
viewpoint. For example, sick day actually really nice doing nothing.
Choosing to meditate in a moment of discomfort. Be lying if I didn't have
discomfort. Be lying if I didn't have one's like honest chat with a mate was very uncomfortable. But you see, writing
very uncomfortable. But you see, writing one win down every single day is just the the proof, the evidence that you are a winner. Whether you've actually
a winner. Whether you've actually progressed or not, it doesn't matter because you have a whole month, a whole year of little moments that you have stacked up things that you've done. And
this is what it feels like to play life on offense rather than defense. You're
being selective. You're choosing the good stuff and not letting life decide for you. Because if you let life decide,
for you. Because if you let life decide, it's going to choose negative stuff. We
are all wired to think negatively. But
if you can practice rewiring your brain to think more positively than negatively, it's going to have a major impact on on where you go in this next year. All you have to do is write it
year. All you have to do is write it down for 2 seconds, believe it, and it's magic. And it works. Next habit up, and
magic. And it works. Next habit up, and if you've been around here a while, you will not be surprised.
>> Journaling. But this extends far past just one memorable moment. I'm talking
about pocket journaling, daily journaling, journaling on your walls, journaling on your computer, journaling on your hand, anywhere, everywhere. Just
write it down because writing it down is where [music] all the magic happens.
Honestly, I just journal to interpret life, gathering information that I get from conversations, from podcasts, from books, from thoughts that just won't shut up at 2 a.m. It allows me to keep
digging and to understand what I [music] like, what I don't like, where I'm going, and who I am. Whilst I was away in Europe, I was working in an RV [music] and there was literally no space
and a lot of tension in the group. And
if I did not have a book, I swear to God, I would have gone literally insane.
[music] Anyways, it created the space that gave me clarity to approach situations with more of a level head instead of getting real frustrated. Buy
yourself a book if you don't have one. I
[music] literally will leave one in the description. Write down for 5 to 15
description. Write down for 5 to 15 minutes and see where it takes you. Ask
the important questions. I do this about two to four times a week, not every day.
It has kept me so grounded. It is going to give you a bit of a zoom out on your life where you can ask yourself the hard questions that no one really asks for you.
The one that I am afraid to talk about very deeply. And if you're still here,
very deeply. And if you're still here, let's get vulnerable. So, by far the hardest bad habit I've ever had to shake was [music] consuming pornography. And
if this is something that you struggle with, assuming that you clicked on this video, don't worry. You are not alone.
You can overcome this in 2026 like I did this year. This is one of the most taboo
this year. This is one of the most taboo topics on the [music] internet to speak about. Yet somehow, Pornhub is the 21st
about. Yet somehow, Pornhub is the 21st most viewed website in the world. That's
actually so cool. Behind things like Google and Chat GPT and Yahoo. So
obviously it's being viewed by a large number of people. So why aren't we talking about it? There seems to be a lot of opinions on the rise of AI and social media having too much control.
But what about the 46% of people who believe that porn is harmful? Or the
half of teens who say they feel guilty or ashamed after watching porn. In March
of this year, I couldn't even face up to this personally. It just shows you how
this personally. It just shows you how afraid I really was to face up to this problem. But challenging that label is
problem. But challenging that label is actually what helped me take back control. [music] I faced this thing head
control. [music] I faced this thing head on. It's the first step I properly took.
on. It's the first step I properly took.
I labeled it as pornography. What it
[music] actually is because that word felt so shameful. It just filled me [music] with guilt that I couldn't even say it out loud. And it felt like I was committing a crime when I did. Once I
owned up to it myself, I then took the next step. I told friends. I quickly
next step. I told friends. I quickly
found common ground with the people I was closest with and then I took an unnecessary next step. I told the internet it's gone bananas. Why is it always about the hard topic? And I was feeling really good. I was feeling
motivated and then I slipped. Labeling
it was a great first step, but it wasn't enough to make me quit entirely. I
realized that it was in the moments where these urges came over me every day or every second day that was actually the cause of the addiction. I would
notice myself conforming to that thought without awareness. So, I tried to focus
without awareness. So, I tried to focus on awareness that when I had these urges, I had to do something differently. Funnily enough, doing
differently. Funnily enough, doing things like my laundry, taking a shower, doing 20 push-ups on the spot right there. This sounds ridiculous, I know,
there. This sounds ridiculous, I know, but by doing this, I was trying to reconfigure my brain to gain clarity before I even made any decisions. And
this tiny bit of extra clarity is exactly what helped me realize that I didn't need to conform to that bad habit anymore. I gave myself a bit of space
anymore. I gave myself a bit of space and a bit of time to realize what my actual priorities were. I can just say that I feel so much more confident. I
think it's due to having nothing to hide. No more guilt. No more shame. If
hide. No more guilt. No more shame. If
you're struggling with this, I see you.
In 2026, label it. Start tracking it.
Tell people about it. Fight the urge.
You're not alone. I know it feels like it, but it's a lot more common than you think. All right, habit number four is
think. All right, habit number four is one that I wouldn't have thought would have changed my entire year, but interact with people you do not know.
Here's an idea. Give someone a compliment. Ask them how they're going.
compliment. Ask them how they're going.
Give someone a high five. I love the idea that you're only one conversation away from changing your entire life because it's so true. So many micro
changes have come from speaking to strangers. And for me, this came easier
strangers. And for me, this came easier than most over the course of 2025 because I was going to a run club every single week. I was challenging myself to
single week. I was challenging myself to meet new [music] people and to put myself in the uncomfortable position of a new conversation. Give someone else a platform to speak and to share their
story and their knowledge. It's a really good skill to have in this day and age.
It is very sad just how low the bar is set for human connection. [music] If
you're capable of listening, having a conversation, going back and forth with someone, you can not only change your life, but change many others. And that's
why I think it's so important to practice this skill of human connection.
If you can connect with people at a human, authentic [music] level, you will get a lot further than most people will.
So, in 2026, I challenge you to speak to a stranger for 365 days straight [music] and then come back and tell me that you didn't learn a thing or two. This last
habit has been more than just a fundamental for me. It has been a reason why in some of the hardest times of my life.
[music] [music] I'm not talking about gyming for 6 days a week and training for a marathon at the same time. I'm just
talking about moving your body. Now,
when I'm in a phase of building and making videos, making [music] jewelry, I tend to lose focus on what I'm doing in my days. Primarily, it is sitting down
my days. Primarily, it is sitting down and [music] doing long hours of work. I
forget to stand up. And maybe that's all it takes for me to feel a little less But the solution is so simple.
>> Move your damn body.
>> I love to run. I love to throw weights around. Not because I want to look a
around. Not because I want to look a certain way. I think that is a big
certain way. I think that is a big byproduct and I do really enjoy that byproduct. It is the way it makes me
byproduct. It is the way it makes me feel. You can just do 20 minutes of
feel. You can just do 20 minutes of moderate exercise and your mood will increase by up to like 12 hours or something. But for me, there's four
something. But for me, there's four major things of why I love exercise so much. First, massive sense of
much. First, massive sense of accomplishment. Win the morning, win the
accomplishment. Win the morning, win the day. It's it's legitimately a thing.
day. It's it's legitimately a thing.
Massive mindful ritual. It allows your focus to be [music] on on one thing.
Massive progress indicator. It shows me how hard I can push myself [music] and the limits that I have put on myself or or I don't put on myself. Massive energy
spike. You know, the endorphins are pumping. The the adrenaline's going. I'm
pumping. The the adrenaline's going. I'm
feeling on. I I can come and sit down and really focus on [music] work or on whatever I'm doing. It is great.
Exercising is great. [music]
It it just it is so human. If you're
doing 20 star jumps, going for a walk, I don't care. 2026, go break a sweat. It
don't care. 2026, go break a sweat. It
feels bad, but then it feels good.
>> So, those are my five habits from 2025.
These are not sexy quick fixes. These
are the fundamentals of living. There is
so much power in showing up every day and doing the fundamentals. Two years
ago, I was stuck stacking shelves, wishing that I I could do this and have fun with my life. 99% of people don't do that. They They're looking for the quick
that. They They're looking for the quick fixes and the overly optimized pill that's going to save them. This this
this is going to save you. You're going to save yourself. And look, I've just
save yourself. And look, I've just designed and produced my own book, which will be available in January of 2026.
So, head to the link in the description.
Absolutely no gimmicks, no It's just a great sturdy book that I would use as well. Again, there is no quick fixes. That's why I'm giving you a
quick fixes. That's why I'm giving you a BLANK BOOK. COME ON. IF YOU'VE made it
BLANK BOOK. COME ON. IF YOU'VE made it this far, I just want to say thank you because this is my most vulnerable video
by a country mile. Go and kill 2026. It
is your year. It is your year.
Let's go.
