Chatpt quietly released what I think is

one of the most useful updates it's had

in a long time and for some reason I

didn't see a big announcement about it

and I haven't seen anyone really talk

about it and it's available right now to

all free accounts. So I wanted to show

you exactly what it is and there's one

more update that I haven't covered

before that came out in the last month

or so that I also will cover before the

end of the video too. So let me show you

here in my chat GPT account. update is

part of the way you use projects. And

ever since projects got released, I've

been using it more and more and they

recently became available to everyone

for free. They used to only be part of a

paid plan, but they got some really big

upgrade here that I wanted to show you.

If you don't use projects, basically

anytime you press create a new project,

it will let you create folders inside of

your chat GPT account to keep different

subjects and different topics organized.

So I do this for very specific projects

and I also do it for broad category of

projects. So all my script writing for

example has its own project here. You

can see all these projects here on the

left side. The other thing that's really

important about projects if you don't

use them is projects allow you to keep

things self-contained as far as the

memory of chat GPT goes. So this project

only option allows you to create

projects where chat GPT won't look into

previous conversations or saved

memories. So this is really interesting

because I typically use notebook LM for

this very specific purpose because if

you choose this option you could create

a project and it'll have its own

knowledge base but it won't go and find

things that are not relevant to that

knowledge base. So it keeps things

self-contained. A really useful option

that they have that you could turn on

here. But when you create a project

here, let me actually go to an existing

one we have here. The nice thing about

it is you could have for example a

knowledge base. So, I've uploaded a

knowledge base here, and this is going

to be self-contained. So, meaning it's

not going to look into previous

conversations. It'll just pull in from

this knowledge base. You could see all

previous chats in one central location.

So, everything we're doing about

improving our content catalog is going

to be all available here with previous

chats. If I press the plus sign, I still

have access to all the different tools

we have access to inside of regular chat

GPT, including things that have

connected like Dropbox here. And here's

the new update. You could now share

them. So, if I press share, I could

share it a couple of different ways. I

could share it with an invite only link.

If I have a business plan is which I

have here, I could share it with people

here. And if you have a regular free

account or a plus account, you could

also share it with a link that's

available to anyone that uses that link.

And this is what ends up happening when

they accept it. You could allow them to

chat with it or you could also allow

them to edit this project. So they could

then add their own knowledge base. So

imagine you're working with someone else

on this. You could share all your files

here to build out the knowledge base of

this project and the other person could

do the same thing. We could both go to

the custom instruction here, which is

something projects have add your own

custom instruction. So, this project

will behave differently than anything

else inside of chat GPT. And they'll

also be able to see any previous chats

that you've had and you could see

theirs. That is incredible way to use

chat GPT between different people and

you could also share them publicly with

a public link online. So, anybody could

use your project. Now, there has always

been something called GPTs. The reason

why I think this chat GPT update is such

a big deal is because now it gives you

another way to basically create GPTs

that I think in some cases are much

better. Now, I still use GPTs all the

time. I mean, these are all the

different GPTs I use pretty much every

single week. And I sometimes share these

publicly, like this one is available for

publicly use, too. But now, you could

basically do the same thing with

projects. Now, you're not going to have

a nice organized store like this with

all kinds of different categories, but

if you still use GPTs, you may want to

look into using projects instead. I

think they still have a place. Both of

them are still are somewhat relevant,

but I think projects will slowly take

over GPTs. I think they're just an

easier way to make them. GPT still, if

you press create, for example, inside of

GPT is still a little bit involved here

on what you got to do. And projects are

super easy. You just upload your

knowledge base, a custom instruction,

share, and it's ready to go. Now, the

other thing I wanted to show you that

also came out recently, which I did not

cover in a video, is called company

knowledge, and it's available in the

business plan. So, if you click this

option right here, it will use

everything that your company has stored

in its knowledge base inside of chat.

So, where do those things come from?

Well, I give it access to our Dropbox.

We have pretty much all our scripts, all

our course transcripts, ton of different

SOPs inside of Dropbox. I also gave it

access to my Google calendar so it could

see our schedule there. I'm also about

to give it access to our Google Drive,

which my account has access to Google

Drive, but the company knowledge base

does not. So, I'm organizing my Google

Drive. So, this will be specific to this

company. And you could also add all

kinds of other things like Gmail here,

things from HubSpot, all that is

available that you could connect and

then just turn it on and your company

knowledge base just like this gets

pulled into a conversation and you could

turn individual sources on and off here

if you don't want to use them. Now, in

the last couple years, I really took my

time and organized my knowledge base. We

actually have one inside of notion, too.

So, I have everything organized into

SOPs, into processes, into things like

how-to videos, internal how-to videos

from our company. So, everybody has

access to everything now inside of our

business plan here. You just turn this

on pretty much every time you have a

question about how to do something in

our business, our processes, and it

knows everything right inside of Chat

GPT. And one last thing I wanted to

mention for our Skill Leap members, we

just released a brand new course. This

one I've been working on for a while.

It's a digital marketing master class.

It's almost 3 hours long here and this

just got released inside of our Skilly

platform. So, you have access to it if

you're an existing member. If you're not

a member right now, we still have a

7-day free trial. So, you could jump in

here and you get access to all our

courses as well as all our learning

paths. So, I'm organizing everything

into very specific learning paths. So,

you get four or five courses in linear

order here. So, you don't have to go to

our all courses tab and figure out what

you want. But if you do want to learn

something specific, we pretty much have

courses on just about everything. Kevin

and Andrew are also instructors that

have several courses. We have Vololo

that teaches AI coding by coding, AI

agents we teach. So all these are

available. And we've also added a

calendar here to show you all the new

courses that we have coming up. We

pretty much have one or two course

getting released every single month now.

And I'm updating our entire back catalog

too to make it a central place where

everything is up to date. So, I'll put a

link in the description if you want to

sign up for Skilly. We have a monthly

and yearly plan, but they both have a

free trial to make sure it's a good fit

for you. I also covered Chat GPT

projects in far more detail before this

update came out, so I'll include that

video here. So, the sharing option

included with everything else in that

video should make you a master of chat

GPT projects.
