What's life like there? How does the average American live? We went to learn and through seven conversations, we found out. I I voted for Trump. After a

The town was just awesome back when I was 60s and 70s.

Okay, so just by chance today I happened to meet a guy on the street uh a dwarf.

I guess that's the politically correct way to say it. And I started talking to him and he was here to put on a wrestling show tonight with his with this wrestling troop. They're doing it

at this barbecue joint right here on the drag. But unfortunately, the fight it

drag. But unfortunately, the fight it turns out was canceled. But we're going in there to talk to the wrestlers now and see what's up with that.

The organization is the Micro Wrestling Federation. It is a wrestling company

Federation. It is a wrestling company that is comprised of nothing but uh

micro or um dwarf uh wrestlers. How'd

you get into this?

Uh the way I got into this, uh originally uh my best friend started working for this company. He just kind of just brought me in. I've been here since 2021. It's been the best that you

since 2021. It's been the best that you can get, man. It's just a rockstar lifestyle. You can't ask much better

lifestyle. You can't ask much better than this, man. We're not like a side show. We're not like, "Oh, here's gags

show. We're not like, "Oh, here's gags and stuff." We're the production we put

and stuff." We're the production we put on is that of at least like the WWE.

Everyone think that the other wrestlers do, other companies do, we can do as well. How

well. How how did you get involved with this?

For lack of better term, I got poached from the poached from the show. So from

there, I put my two weeks in my at the job I had two weeks later. I went to Tennessee. I've been doing this for

Tennessee. I've been doing this for about almost 3 years now.

That's awesome. goes it's person to person but uh just as a blanket dwarfism dwarf that's the most DC that you can use.

We just met Little Show here. Little

Show is the cap captain of the of the squad. How would you say it?

You've been doing this how long? I

think 20 This should be 24 years.

And then I joined uh this company right here in 2016, which is the best thing I've ever done.

It changed my life. Couldn't ask, you know, in what way?

Every which way? Every which way changed my life. Gave me a lot more

my life. Gave me a lot more opportunities and uh you know, just it helps me give my kids a better life.

So, we do five to six shows a week. The

farthest we go to is Colorado. So that's

Colorado to New York. That's we stay in that area. We have a, you know, over a

that area. We have a, you know, over a million followers on some of our medias and stuff. Tik Tok. You uh we have our

and stuff. Tik Tok. You uh we have our own YouTube channel. We're doing Monday Night Micro that comes on an episode that comes on every uh every Monday at 8:00 on YouTube. Two years ago, we did

our big little brawler series that's on HBO Max and it was on Discovery. The

best thing about our company, it's never just going to stay here. It's always

going to keep growing and we take it serious. I mean, if you watch the stuff

serious. I mean, if you watch the stuff we're doing, it's incredible. This

little show, the redneck brawler, the toughest sob that ever came out of Micro Wrestling Federation, and the people already know when they step in the ring with me, I will chew them up and spit

them out BECAUSE I AM THE Red Net Brawler.

So, last night we stayed in that Hampton in right there. This morning I woke up, went to go for a run. So I came out here to go up to the town that way, but there is no sidewalk. You have to go for over

half a mile. There's no sidewalk running with the car. You got to go just cross the highway.

It's like the scene in dodgeball. You

have to do in Pakistan. You just run through the car.

It's actually worse here. As much as I will lament that our cities downtowns are being replaced with these kind of corporate slop uh developments, they do

create a lot of jobs, kind of hourly, you know, jobs people don't necessarily aspire to have but have. We're going to go here and talk to people in Burger King who have this job. If they'll talk

to us, let's see what they say.

We've we've heard two things talking to people in town. Some people are saying they like that there's always new restaurants and stuff out here that weren't here 20, 30 years ago. Other

people are saying it's kind of become too congested, too built up in this area of town. Yes, it is. Very

congested.

Very congested here. But I mean, it's bringing jobs to the area, so I'm not going to complain too much.

Would you rather work for like a small restaurant business or or like a larger restaurant business like Burger King.

I've actually worked as a waitress in Friendly's when it was still in the area.

That was okay. I like this one. It's a

little bit more fast-paced. Get to meet a lot of different people. I used to work at the car wash up the road. A lot

of the regular customers I had up there come here. So, get I still get to see

come here. So, get I still get to see people.

She She said her before walking away to Clock Ash. It's a multi-million dollar

Clock Ash. It's a multi-million dollar store. Just speaks to the volume of

store. Just speaks to the volume of business these places do. Is it someone locally who owns the franchise or how does it work?

We were franchise owned but we were bought out and now we are private like a local businessman.

Is he involved like Oh yeah, he'll come in one day. Um I

asked to you know step outside and the manager forgot about me and then she's like hey you know can somebody hop on burger board? and he's like, "I'll do

burger board? and he's like, "I'll do it."

it." Wow.

He just jumped right in. Started making

burgers.

I was just in the office the other day.

I think I think the best I think the best fast food burger, especially, you know, if you're still in at the drinking age and you go out and you have a little bit of a hangover the next day, there's nothing better than a

greasy waffler to, you know, get through get you through the next day. I'm I've

only been here a little over a year and I just became a team lead back in April.

Are you able to move up?

I got to say, as much as I personally get sad every time I see one of these big corporate sprawl things, you know, talking to that lady in there, Michelle, it's

I mean, you just realize it's creating a huge number of jobs out here. It's just

very different from what it used to be, right? And there's all the nuance that

right? And there's all the nuance that goes into the franchising versus the private versus the corporate businesses and all that. So, it's not just so super black and white. But, it's interesting.

I mean, talk about people who are totally ignored by the media. Fast food

workers. Talk about people. Everyone

talks about these people but doesn't actually talk to them. Point of this page is to talk to everybody in this country. If you want that, make sure you

I think it's on its way back. And I

think the attitude of the people people are waking up.

Uh no, a lot of the factories around here went away. But that was all the the the big plan, right? Let's ship it overseas. They can

make it cheaper. Okay. What do we do now for a living? You know, I was fortunate.

Well, she was fortunate, too. She was in the food industry. She has been straight. I was a carpenter. I always

straight. I was a carpenter. I always

helped her.

Our generation, right? Like, he's Gen Z.

I'm a millennial. Like, that's the most therapy. Everyone's anxious and

therapy. Everyone's anxious and depressed.

They want you to be in therapy.

Where do you think that came from?

It came from the left. It came way back when we were kids. It was It started 80 years ago slowly boiling that.

And they just kept they basically shoved people my age in high school. Go to college. Go to

high school. Go to college. Go to

college for what?

Well, to get an educ I've got an education from high school. Why do I need to go to college? They were shoving it down kids' throats. Everybody has to go to college to be successful.

And that I just wish people just slow down. Like this is life. This is it. If

H having, you know, spent so much your life here, that whole area out there, the Texas Roadhouse, you know, all that stuff. What do you think about that as a

stuff. What do you think about that as a local town here?

It's too busy. We don't like commercial establishments, you know, the big business. We like the local. That's where we try to go. And

local. That's where we try to go. And

then you build the little mall, then you build the big mall, and everything just gets sucked out. And that's all over the country.

It was booming when when it first started. Now it's got five stores and

started. Now it's got five stores and maybe two eeries in the in the food court.

So, it's on its way out. It was just a phase. Everything's a phase, but um you

phase. Everything's a phase, but um you know, the phase that we see coming back is the small towns are coming back. This

is the thing that you just, you know, you guys still living in a city. This is

the kind of thing that I just miss so much.

And we would watch shows on TV or like, you know, hometown America. How much

more hometown did you get than this?

That was the easiest thing I could and that was very true cuz my dad Yeah, you see a lot of stars in New York. Yeah.
