[dramatic music playing] Once again, I am standing on $5 million of real cash, an unfathomably large amount of money.

But this year, competing for this money, 100 of the strongest contestants on the entire planet.

Because only one of these 200 contestants is gonna win $5 million.

I'm Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, and this is Beast Games, the biggest competition show in the history of television.

An entire episode dedicated to Survivor, and by far the most physical and psychological games you have ever seen in your life.

All designed to test these one of a kind players and find out how far they'll go to win $5 million.

Let's get into season two of Beast Games. Strong versus smart.

The smart contestants are currently exiting the stage.

Because for this first game, we are going to cut the 100 strong in half.

As I expected, most of you seem pretty confident.

[cheering] [MrBeast] But let's see how long that lasts.

This is literally insane.

But how are you going to get all the way down there?

What could it be?

I bet all those smart people down there are figuring it out.

Open the trapdoors.

is a rope.

And at the end of that rope are blocks attached to a weight.

And each player's weight is different because they're customized to be exactly one third of your body weight.

Your objective is to climb to the bottom of the pole below you.

Grab the rope with your custom weight attached to it, hoist it up to you, pull the blocks off the weight and without falling, return to the surface with the blocks and stack them in the color order I tell you.

[woman] What?

The heaviest weight that I see is 98 pounds.

That's crazy.

[woman] I just wonder how we're gonna get in.

'Cause if you take one wrong step, you just fall, dude.

[shrieks] If at any point you fall, you will be eliminated.

But the first 50 of you to make it back up and stack your blocks will be moving on to Beast City.

[cheering] Game time, here we go.

You know what this reminds me of? Being back in high school and sneaking out of my house, scaling down off my roof.

It only took about a minute and a half for the more agile, strong contestants to stack their blocks.

Bro, I was trying to hold both sides of the rope.

Now, that was way more of a challenge than I thought actually.

It's just such a surreal feeling. I just hope my parents are proud of me.

There's a lot of really smart people around here that are pretty intimidating.

I have a 4.0 GPA, and I scored a near perfect score on my MCAT.

I have a doctorate degree. It can't be harder than that.

I'm a technical analyst for a healthcare software company.

I've studied how people form their attitudes, form their decisions, and I'm going to use that in this game to win that $5 million.

I have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and I play Pokémon cards competitively.

I think I'm pretty smart out here, and I think I'm gonna get past this game without any issues.

I'm gonna treat this like an experiment, so I have to find out what variables we're gonna manipulate.

Go ahead and remove the black cloth in front of you.

We're gonna find out if all of you are as smart as you say you are.

And once I knock it over, you will have 60 seconds to recreate that tower using the blocks on your platform.

If your tower doesn't match mine after 60 seconds, you'll be eliminated.

I know I can memorize way better than at least half of these people here. [laughs]

When I was younger, I memorized 1300 digits of pi in three days, so I feel pretty good about memorizing the colors.

I'm a rocket scientist, so hopefully that translates to this today.

These guys just gotta remember blocks.

The city is for the 100 best in the world.

If they can't memorize a couple blocks, they don't deserve to be there.

If we're butting heads, that's not gonna work.

And they're dictating to me what I should be doing.

I'm getting really tired of it.

I don't think muscle's gonna earn your way to the top.

People are trying to make teams, and I just don't trust it.

I've been trying to talk to as many people as possible.

Trying to get who they trust, who they don't.

Do you have a number in your head that you would walk away right now with?
