[Music] welcome I want to show you how you can improve your vision at home by just using a
pen you may be thinking how can you improve my vision with a pen well inside your eyes you have several muscles that
moves your eyes in all different positions on the inside of your eye you have a lens and you have ciliary muscles that contract and increase the curvature
of that lens to make it thicker and the increased curvature of that lens allows the eye to focus on an object that is close up but when the person has to look
far away those muscles relax and the focus of the lens changes to an object further away and when we look at our smartphone or our computer or even things far away these muscles these
sillary muscles continue to contract and relax making the lens more convex and flatter so we can accommodate and this will help your vision therapy of your
eyes you may notice that when you read the words are not really clear or you're skipping lines when reading and think about those times when your eyes got real real tired and maybe even bloodshot
may even get fuzzy or blurry our eyes need that exercise just like all the other muscles in our body and there's two parts to this pen exercise
you want to hold the pen about a foot out in front of you and what you want to do is you want to look at that point that tip of the pen you just want to focus on it and as you bring it closer
to your eyes you keep bringing it closer and keep focusing on that tip and once you start to see two pens then you're going to stop leave the pen where it's
at you're going to look away at an object for a few seconds to relax your pupils and then you'll do the exercise all over again you look at the tip and
as you come closer as it comes closer you're going to eventually see two pens and then you stop and then you'll look away that is Contracting the lens
relaxing the lens and strengthening those muscles and the final part is reversing the pen distance what we'll do here is we'll take the pen and bring it as close as we can to our nose staring at the tip of the pen and while looking
at it we do not want to come too close if we come too close it will look double go back to where it looks single stir at the tip of the pen for 3 seconds and then you're going to look off in a
distance for 3 seconds you're going to come back and look back at the pen making sure it stays single at that same distance look at it for 3 seconds and you're going to look away for 3 seconds
and you want to make sure you do both exercises every single day and you will see within about 4 weeks or so a
tremendous change in your eyes in so many different ways now we know how important our eyes are so just take a
few minutes of your day and you will reap the benefits of having such better healthy eyes and stronger muscles
