I'm going to be honest with y'all. I'm
not even sure where to begin this video.
I have felt such a mixed series of emotions over the last seven days.
Excitement fear anxiety overwhelm inspiration based on what I've seen people submit for our May design challenge inside the e-learning designers community, which was all focused on claw design. Here's
what I know for sure. It's going to fundamentally change the way we do e-learning design and development going forward. And I'm going to show you
forward. And I'm going to show you evidence of that. So stick around.
Hey folks, Tim Slate here from the e-learning designers academy. Gosh, it
was like only four or five weeks ago that the folks at Anthropic launched Claude Design um as a beta product,
which is a combination of a design tool, a web design tool, a digital design tool, vibe coding, a little bit of Figma, a little bit of Canva even if you
will, all in one this really interesting, powerful AI design tool.
And you know, as I shared in uh some videos that I shared about a month ago that I'll put up here and put down here.
I was sitting on my couch one night. It
was like a Friday night. Um I had taken my Friday night edible. That's my little routine to come down from the week.
Don't judge me. You do too. Um and I it was just kicking in and I saw this video come up on my YouTube feed for Claw Design. And I remember the very there
Design. And I remember the very there was a frame in the video where it was like design an interactive blah blah blah blah blah. And I thought interactive blah blah blah blah blah. Oh
my gosh. Uh that sounds like an e-learning type thing. That's something
I would type into AI if I wanted to design something e-learning related with AI. Right? So I watched this video and I
AI. Right? So I watched this video and I I was reeling. I was up until like 2:00 at night researching it, looking at it.
And I got up the next day and I decided to play with it and I shared a video on that. And then the next week or the week
that. And then the next week or the week after I did another video and I thought, well, what would happen in Claw Design if I gave it a whole storyboard, right?
And the output blew me away. And don't
get me wrong, I was barely using it. I
was barely tweaking it. I didn't create a design guide. I didn't do all of the things that makes Claude Design work really, really well. I was just putting around with it to see what was possible with it. So, if we fast forward to the
with it. So, if we fast forward to the beginning of May, which was I think like a week and a half later, um you know, every month inside our community, we do these free e-learning and instructional
design challenges as an opportunity to give folks um new folks, experienced folks, transitioning folks, everyone under the sun. We do these design challenges to give them opportunity to put their skills into practice, maybe
learn or use a new tool uh and and ultimately build something for their portfolio. And we had we had a a
portfolio. And we had we had a a challenge ready to go for the month of May. And at the 11th hour, I decided to
May. And at the 11th hour, I decided to scrap it. I'm like, "No, we we really
scrap it. I'm like, "No, we we really should give people an opportunity. We
should give people a reason to try claw design because I wanted to see what would happen if we gave people a month uh to play in this tool and see what
they come up with." Okay. Now when I tell you I have never been more impressed inspired overwhelmed excited,
fearful confused.
I I've it has been the most amazingly bizarre combination of emotions that I've had over the last week as I've started to look through and evaluate
some of the submissions that came in for our May design challenge. And I want to remind you all Claw Design is a beta tool and the output of what some people have created has just absolutely blown
my mind. So, um I know that was a long
my mind. So, um I know that was a long introduction and feel free to use the timestamps down below if you want to fast forward or jump around or everything and all that good stuff. So,
um let's jump over into the community.
So, here I am in my community. As I
mentioned a moment ago, uh we do these design challenges every month. It's
opportunity to put your skills into practice. And for the month of May, we
practice. And for the month of May, we decided to make it all about vibe coding e-learning with Claude Design. Now,
typically when we do a design challenge inside our community, uh we usually give people a business case. We usually give them a hypothetical style guide for a hypothetical company and then they
create a sample of work based off of that. For the month of May, I decided to
that. For the month of May, I decided to do something a little differently.
Rather than giving people a business case and a style guide, I decided to let people choose from any of our past design challenges. I mean, we have a
design challenges. I mean, we have a collection of a few dozen different case studies, hypothetical clients, hypothetical uh style guides for people to choose from. And I wanted to do that
intentionally because I wanted to see what would happen uh if a bunch of different people used claude design in a bunch of different ways in different contexts with a bunch of different style guides and brand standards. Would they
all look the same or or might they look very different? Right? They were very
very different? Right? They were very different and they were amazingly different. Um now I will say this before
different. Um now I will say this before I dump uh dive into some of these submissions. I will say this. I
submissions. I will say this. I
encourage you all to come down here um and check out our winning submissions and of course all of the submissions. We
received maybe 25 30 submissions and typically, you know, when we do our monthly design challenges, I try to pick one winner who we give $100 Amazon gift card to. And um I had such a hard time
card to. And um I had such a hard time picking a winner because the the quality of the projects that we're about to see were so next level. So I chose five winners. So before we dive into
winners. So before we dive into anything, I want to give a congratulations to Maria, Ronnie, Sherry, Mon'nique, and Charlotte.
Congratulations to all of you. You did
such an amazing job. And for everyone watching, I encourage you to check out uh their work and everyone else's submissions because um they're going to blow you away. All
right, so um we're going to go into some of these projects. Unfortunately, I
don't have I I I have a bunch of tabs open and I I don't have the names matched with the tab, right? So, I'm not going to be able to give credit to everyone and all of their names, but I encourage you um you can come in here,
check out their submissions, see who submitted it, submitted it, and connect with them on LinkedIn or what have you.
All right. Um so, this first one that we're going to dive into is MRI safety training. uh this was a project or a
training. uh this was a project or a challenge that we hosted maybe last year or the year before uh for a hypothetical company called Milton Imaging, right?
And so as we look here on the cover page, uh a couple things I want to point out here. Obviously, very nice clean
out here. Obviously, very nice clean design with this little modular window, some uh nice little um drop shadows and and colors here in the background. So,
MRI safety and training, an interactive program to help staff keep patients and themselves safe around magnetic resonance imaging scanner. So, we have about 20-minute duration, three modules, audience, all personnel, staff. Now,
what's really interesting about this is we have some incourse translation here, right? So, it can be English or it can
right? So, it can be English or it can be uh German. I'm pretty sure, correct me if I'm wrong, this project came from Craig
uh if I can find Craig Johnson who submitted this project. um uh for our May design challenge. So, I'm going to put it back in English and let's go through some of this and I want to highlight some of the really interesting
things uh from this project. So, we'll
start the training. And so, the first thing we're brought to here is a menu, right? So, we have our module overview.
right? So, we have our module overview.
Complete the modules in order. Each
module unlocks when you finish the previous one. So, we have MRI
previous one. So, we have MRI foundations, recognizing hazardous items, patient screening protocol, um you know, a typical menu, right? And
this is something that you would see in an articulate storyline course. I mean
the dynamic live uh uh translation that would be really hard to accomplish, right? Um but everything else, you know,
right? Um but everything else, you know, this is what you would see in a storyline course. We have a little
storyline course. We have a little progress meter up here. All that nice hover effect. So let's jump into module
hover effect. So let's jump into module one. Okay. So first look at MRI. Now I'm
one. Okay. So first look at MRI. Now I'm
not going to read all of this. I just
want to highlight mostly from a technical standpoint, right? I mean, if you want to look at the content and and evaluate that, by all means, do that.
That's not the point of this video. Uh,
the content, you know, the quality the content and the instructional quality could be evaluated between authoring tools. What I'm really looking at here
tools. What I'm really looking at here is the technical quality here. So, we
have this nice progress bar up here. Uh,
we have our opening screen here. We'll
continue these nice hover effects.
Again, this would be something hard to accomplish in a tool uh like Storyline, especially with that arrow moving, right?
Um, so we open up with some questions.
So, which of the following are recognized hazards or risks associated with MRI scanning? Um, ferromagnetic
objects can be dangerous. Um, yes. Um,
loud acoustic noise. Yeah, we'll see.
All right, cool. I got one wrong. That's
fine. So, we get some feedback there.
We'll continue. Now, what's interesting about this is it's it's kind of a combination between a scrolling course, but it also still feels very slide based in the way that it's been laid out, right? Um, which is an which is an
right? Um, which is an which is an interesting um way of presenting the content because we typically view we think of e-learning as just a fixed slide or a rise style scrolling course,
right? Which body structures can be
right? Which body structures can be visualized particularly well with MRI? I
believe it's all the above. Got that
right. We get our feedback. We'll
continue forward. Which of the following metals is not consider considered ferroagnetic? I've gotten this wrong
ferroagnetic? I've gotten this wrong every single time. I think it's nickel, but select all that apply. I'm going to get it wrong. It was copper. Okay. Why
is it recommended that eye makeup be removed prior to MRI? Um I'm just going to get it wrong. Partially correct.
We'll continue forward. Right. So, we
open up with this um that that quiz.
Now, I don't know if that has any sort of dynamic effect on the content, like it's a pre-est and then the content's dynamic. I'm not sure. So, then we have
dynamic. I'm not sure. So, then we have this interaction here. Controlled
access. No hazardous items beyond zone 2. Um, a magpie carrying metallic
2. Um, a magpie carrying metallic scissors is moving towards the MRI scanner. Keep the unscreened hazard out
scanner. Keep the unscreened hazard out of the control area by acting wisely.
Now, I wasn't entirely sure why it's a magpie. That's okay. Again, we're not
magpie. That's okay. Again, we're not looking at that. We're looking at the quality of the technical build here um and all of that stuff. So, uh we'll use the landing net. A magpie has stolen
metallic scissors and is headed towards MRA suite. Available commands use
MRA suite. Available commands use landing net and it moves over here and then does this and I'm not sure it drops it. Something to do with the
drops it. Something to do with the safety zone, right?
I'm not entirely sure about the interaction, but one of the things I love that the developer did is they said skip this exercise for auditing. I love
that for portfolio purposes. So, we'll
skip that one. So, we finished module one. We'll continue forward. We have a
one. We'll continue forward. We have a little key takeaways. And now module two is available for us. Again, we have our progress meter up here. Very good. So,
three MRI safety categories. Every
object you encounter. Uh is it safe, conditional, unsafe? When in doubt, stop
conditional, unsafe? When in doubt, stop and escalate the rate escalate to the radiologist. Okay. Now, this interaction
radiologist. Okay. Now, this interaction I found to be so cool. This is not an interaction you could easily build in a tool like Storyline or any other one.
Um, this is kind of a swipe card interaction. So, is it allowed in the
interaction. So, is it allowed in the MRI room? Classify each object as
MRI room? Classify each object as unsafe, conditional, or safe. Swipe or
tap. So, we could choose to choose one of these options. But what I love about this is we can do this or this. You see
how it's doing that? That would be really hard to accomplish in a tool like Storyline. This is unsafe. So, we'll say
Storyline. This is unsafe. So, we'll say unsafe. Got it. Next. Okay. MRI safe
unsafe. Got it. Next. Okay. MRI safe
pillow. That's safe. So, this allows for some accessibility. If you cl can't
some accessibility. If you cl can't click and drag, you can at least choose these, right? Um, this is safe because
these, right? Um, this is safe because it uses aluminum. Large black tattoo.
I'm going say it's conditional. Oh, I
was right. Okay.
Oxygen siller. Definitely not safe.
Hearing aid. Uh, is that safe? No. Okay.
Uh, titanium hip implant. That is
definitely safe. Standard wheelchair.
That is unsafe.
Pacemaker older model. Unsafe. Athletic
wear. Safe.
Safe.
Unsafe. All right. We get some feedback here about what we got correct. So, it's
tracking us there. We can retry. We'll
continue on. And then we move forward.
We have a little matching game here. So
really great simple example again a very customized interface uh interactions that would be very hard or nearly impossible to do do in a tool
like storyline or others right so great work on this one let's go to our next one okay so this one again very different look and feel now this is a good example where I've seen over the
last several weeks people commenting and remarking how well what comes out of cloud design all looks very much the same No. Um, not once you upload your
same No. Um, not once you upload your brand standards and your logo and your colors and your fonts, you're going to see that all of these samples are very unique and different, right? So, this
one was a one on grow coaching. This is
one we did for Gilbert's pharmacy, another uh challenge um that we did uh earlier. Um, and so this one again
earlier. Um, and so this one again unique look and feel. So, the
conversation that changes everything.
Performance reviews aren't just evaluations, they're opportunities. So
this is all about giving good feedback.
So we have our start screen here. We
have some indicators here. 8 to 12 minutes self-paced. And let's begin.
minutes self-paced. And let's begin.
Okay. So we start here uh with a uh kind of a tabbed interaction where we can look at the goal reality options and will way forward. That's the four steps
of the grow coaching model. Explore all
four cards to continue. So let's start with goal. So we have a little click to
with goal. So we have a little click to reveal here. some really nice animations
reveal here. some really nice animations as they come in. We have reality and you notice some really interesting things like the O gets smaller. There's
some really nice sharp animations as each of these cards get revealed. Again,
it's a simple interaction, but it's the small details that, you know, if you were using any other authoring tool, these would be really hard to replicate.
So, we we've learned the four steps of the grow coaching model. Now, we're
going to begin the scenario. Now, before
we begin, uh your first name will appear in your session notes and coaching summary. So, I'm going to enter my name,
summary. So, I'm going to enter my name, Tim. And first off, just let's remark on
Tim. And first off, just let's remark on the beauty of this design. We have the uh simulation back here. We have this nice popup window. We're going to begin the conversation
and a conversation with Marcus. He's a
pharmacy technician. Three years tenure performance review spring 2026. Patient
counseling concern identified. A
conversation with Marcus. Marcus
Thompson has been with Gilberts for 3 years. He's fast, accurate, and
years. He's fast, accurate, and well-liked, but over the past 60 days, three patients have called back with questions they should have answered at the counter. Today's review uh uh is an
the counter. Today's review uh uh is an opportunity to address it, not with directives, but with questions blah blah blah blah blah. Uh putting patients first. So, it mentions one of the core
first. So, it mentions one of the core values of Gilbert's. We're going to begin the conversation.
Okay. So, what it does is it brings us into this kind of chatlike simulation.
All right. Uh, different look and feel.
Um, but again, we still have all the same Gilbert's branding and and everything. So, here we have, "Thanks
everything. So, here we have, "Thanks for making time, Marcus. I want this to feel like a real conversation, not just a box to check before I share anything.
I'd love to hear from you first. What's
one area you feel like you'd want to grow this year? Honestly, I'm thinking I'm a pretty solid uh I'm pretty solid technically. Maybe just getting through
technically. Maybe just getting through lines faster. Blah blah blah blah blah.
lines faster. Blah blah blah blah blah.
We have some options here. I'm going to intentionally get it wrong. Choose that
one. Uh you said and then the conversation continues. Now we have this
conversation continues. Now we have this scrolling panel here that dynamically adapts based on what I select. And then
we have this coaching notes here that uh starts populating as we interact with the scenario. Again, it seems simple.
the scenario. Again, it seems simple.
This is actually a very complex interaction right?
So, uh, we get some feedback. We'll
continue to reality. It maintains our previous selections here. And we have the typing there. And so, we have some back and forth. And we get to choose what we want to say. Again, feel free to
check this out in more detail if you want to. Uh, I'm going to get it right.
want to. Uh, I'm going to get it right.
That's the right one. Again, we we get some notes here about reality and what we acknowledged.
Um, and you can see these notes are actually dynamic depending on what we selected. That's impressive, right? Um,
selected. That's impressive, right? Um,
so that's super cool. Okay, let's
continue to options.
Uh, sounds like you've been prioritizing speed, blah blah blah blah blah. Marcus
says, I mean, you could try to be more consistent about it. What do we say next? Right. Um, I'm going to get it
next? Right. Um, I'm going to get it wrong again. Let's see what happens if I
wrong again. Let's see what happens if I get it wrong. So, we kind of got it right. It was like a yellow response. Uh
right. It was like a yellow response. Uh
Marcus offered one idea. Manager
introduced staffing suggestion before employee generated further options.
Partial ownership. Yep. Continue to will way forward.
Conversation continues.
And uh let's get it right.
And again, we get some dynamic feedback here based on what we've selected.
Again, a very complex interaction that in the real world, if you built this in a tool like story line, you would have multiple slides and layers and it would be really hard to simulate this singular
screen like conversation, right? And
then we get to view our session summary here. And you can see here it generates
here. And you can see here it generates a score uh based on our responses and where we need work. Um, imagine the variables and triggers that it would take to track all of that. That would
take a lot. We have some uh charts here showing how we responded and we can mark complete or replay the scenario.
A simple interaction, right? Super cool
course, very polished, functional, visually pleasing, instructionally engaging. Really great work on this one.
engaging. Really great work on this one.
So that's that was amazing. All right,
let's move on. Okay, this next one, very different course, very different look and feel. This one was for one of our
and feel. This one was for one of our very early um design challenge challenges for for Babida especi and it was about making a Moscow mule. Now this
one actually contains um audio narration.
Yeah. So there's a little background music. Um we have some options here. So
music. Um we have some options here. So
we have a little menu here, but I'm just going to go ahead and start here and jump into it.
Okay. Did you notice that? Like this
blur fade in text. I don't know any authoring tool that allows for those types of animations. Super cool. Spa.
Press space to continue.
Okay. And now we're in this restaurant environment. Mia, that's honestly one of
environment. Mia, that's honestly one of the best margaritas I've ever had.
You're the best bartender. Uh, bartender
Mia. That's how a real margarita should taste. Thinking I'm really the best
taste. Thinking I'm really the best bartender here. Continue.
bartender here. Continue.
Okay. Two Moscow mules. Please surprise
us with your signature touch. Okay. So,
how does Mia respond? Uh, well, we do make Moscow mules here. So, we're going to do Sure. And then we're brought into the simulation uh where we have to build our Moscow mule. Now, I don't know how
to make a Moscow mule, but we'll see if we can learn it here. So, bar pretender Mia is thinking, I don't remember exactly how to make it. Well, just like me. Well, as I remember, it should have
me. Well, as I remember, it should have some vodka brand. Does it matter? ginger
beer and lime. And how about dosage?
Well, I'll just eyeball it. Okay, so
drag an ingredient and hold it over the shaker to pour. So, we have kind of a drag and drop here. So, I'll drag some vodka over here.
Get some sound effects. We have this thing going up. Uh, we're going to make an IDA garden. No, a Sandra Lee drink with a lot of alcohol. There we go.
Looks like a shot, right? We'll do
ginger beer.
That's good. Ice.
Got some ice. And let's do some lime juice.
Okay. You see it's adding up here. Got
some animation. Done.
Okay. Let's see how we did. Here are
your cocktails.
They're drinking. Okay. Did I do a good job? No, I didn't do a good job. That
job? No, I didn't do a good job. That
isn't balanced. Yeah. Mind the balance.
The cocktail was not properly balanced, which affected the overall flavor and guest experience. Attention should be
guest experience. Attention should be given to correct proportions. Blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah. What I love about this is it's challenging me to do it right away and then I fail. So then
we're opening up the door to doing it right and our reviews went down. We heard
that. That's not good. Um it's off balance. I should have checked the
balance. I should have checked the proportions more carefully. And I assume we're going to learn that. Chapter two.
The note. Press space to continue.
Okay. Uh confidence without precision is a flame. Blah blah blah. Okay. Um, is
a flame. Blah blah blah. Okay. Um, is
this the note he left? Who was that? I
don't know. Let's unfold the note. Okay.
So, we have a little hover effect here.
So, a classic Moscow mule recipe. So, we
have a copper mug. We have 2 oz. So, two
shots of Aida espeial, our signature vodka. Uh, half an oouncez of lime juice
vodka. Uh, half an oouncez of lime juice and 3 oz of ginger beer. Let's see if I can remember that. Half ounce, 3 oz, 2
oz. Okay.
oz. Okay.
Um, let's try making it again with better balance and accuracy.
She would like a Moscow mule.
Okay. I don't know if I can remember it.
We're going to do 2 oz of vodka. Check
your pore. Start with ice. Oh, okay.
Got our ice. And this is in milliliters, not ounces. That's not good. Oh, we have
not ounces. That's not good. Oh, we have our note here. Um 60 mls of vodka. Okay,
it's counting up here. That's super
cool. Oh, there's our 60. And then I think it was See, I was doing it in ounces. Uh 15 ml of fresh lime juice.
ounces. Uh 15 ml of fresh lime juice.
Okay, I think that was my 15. And then
90 ml of ginger beer. And I have to do my math. I don't know what 75 + 90 is,
my math. I don't know what 75 + 90 is, but we're going to go.
We're going to stop right there.
You need a little bit more ginger beer.
Oops.
Okay. Oh, I got it. Wait, did I get it?
No.
There we go. 165. Done. And she drinks it. And it was a great mule
it. And it was a great mule and we got a good score.
Okay, I'll stop there with this one.
Again, a very different course, very different look and feel, very different style of interactions, very different type of menu and navigation, visual
style, all of that stuff. Again, could
you build this in a tool like Storyline?
Yeah. Would it take time? Absolutely.
Um, really amazing job on this one.
Let's move on to the next one. All
right, so here we have I'm going to actually mute this. Turn that off. Here
we have our next project for Thunder Mifflin. Uh, which was uh I don't know
Mifflin. Uh, which was uh I don't know if it was like an April Fool's one we did last year or the year before. We did
a play on Dunder Mifflin for a paper company. Uh, and this one is a another
company. Uh, and this one is a another one for performance reviews. Uh, let me restart the course. So, here we are on our start screen. And again, I want to
remark on how different this looks from every other course that we just looked at. We have a kind of a menu progress
at. We have a kind of a menu progress bar up here. Last year was a paper cut.
Sticky note sales dropped. We have some data about how it dropped. We have Maya Ortega. I don't know who Maya is yet,
Ortega. I don't know who Maya is yet, but we'll find that out. Let's start the scenario. So, meet Maya. She's a
scenario. So, meet Maya. She's a
six-year sales rep on your team, respected by customers, well organized, and she's currently struggling. Her
review is in 15 minutes. So, we're
preparing for a review. So, we have some details about uh Maya. Um your role as the assistant regional sales manager.
Your goal is to deliver constructive feedback on Maya's results from last year, listen to her carefully or listen carefully to her perspective, and collaborate on a practical plan for the year ahead. All right, let's begin the
year ahead. All right, let's begin the review. And so again, we have a very
review. And so again, we have a very different type of simulated um coaching type conversation, right? So
Maya pulls a chair into the corner of the meeting room. Her year- end sales report sits between you. We have some decision points. You sit down with Maya.
decision points. You sit down with Maya.
How do you begin the performance review?
So here we have some content here. We
have a coaching hint. So we have some details here. Try on your own. Same
details here. Try on your own. Same
scene. Maya sits across the table. Type
in how you would actually open the interview. And I'm going to say, "Hey,
interview. And I'm going to say, "Hey, my uh something something something."
Now, what's really cool about this is you'll notice that it's counting my words, and we need at least 12 words to respond. Now, I'm not going to type in
respond. Now, I'm not going to type in anything real. I'm just going to go blah
anything real. I'm just going to go blah blah blah blah blah and send to Maya.
Okay. I appreciate the directness. I
push push back on one thing, though, starting with the gap. So, uh, this one doesn't quite work, and the reason is worth saying. It's short enough that
worth saying. It's short enough that Maya can't tell. Now, I don't know exactly how it's evaluating this. So,
I'm actually gonna try something a little bit more complex. Let's see if we can do it. Um,
thanks for meeting with me today. I'd
like to spend some time talking about your sales numbers, numbers, areas of opportunity.
Um, but also where I think you're doing duping doing
a good job. How do you think you did last year? Okay, send them.
last year? Okay, send them.
Okay, I appreciate you starting there.
Uh, that's not where most of most of these conversations begin. Um, the
number is a number. I'd rather spend an hour on what we can change. So, land's
okay, but it's leaving points on the table. You can write it below. Okay. So,
table. You can write it below. Okay. So,
I'm not sure exactly how it's evaluating that, but still pretty cool, right?
Feedback quality meter. Uh, scored
against the coaching model, right?
Scored on specificity, objectivity, balance actionability.
Um, let's continue forward. Okay. My
explains that several customers reduced orders because their teams are now using digital planning tools. What do you say next? Um, so we have some options here.
next? Um, so we have some options here.
So, we can tap to open a card and see how we might respond, right? And I think I'll choose option A here.
And we'll continue on down the conversation. We get some feedback. We
conversation. We get some feedback. We
continue on. Right. We'll do one more.
Uh and you'll see how it's it's tracking our progress up here in our little menu here. 40% complete.
here. 40% complete.
So again, this is very scrolly. So it's
kind of a rise course in that way. I'm
not going to read through all the content. You can all do that on your
content. You can all do that on your own. I just want to click and see how
own. I just want to click and see how some of these interactions work. So, we
have kind of a card tabs interaction there. Um, now set Maya's goal. So,
there. Um, now set Maya's goal. So,
we're going to set a goal. So, we have some goals here. So, commit to a different plan. Uh, we'll do this this
different plan. Uh, we'll do this this middle one. That's risky. Uh, Maya
middle one. That's risky. Uh, Maya
doesn't respond well to that. And we can try again if we wanted to. Let's do this one here. That's a strong one. We feel
one here. That's a strong one. We feel
good about that. Let's continue.
Maya's first account, Northstar Consulting. We're going to apply it. And
Consulting. We're going to apply it. And
again, we have some content here that we can choose from. Uh, and build an action plan. So, coach Maya to the plan. Don't
plan. So, coach Maya to the plan. Don't
hand it to her. Pick the guiding question you use at each step. So,
diagnose what change. So, I'm going to choose some questions here. And we can see how they're landing. Some are good, some are bad. CMA's plan here. Maya's
plan in her own words because Maya articulated this herself. She owns it.
And then we have the plan here, right?
And we have some responses. So again, a really a very different coursel-like experience than what we've seen with the others. Scrolling in nature, so similar
others. Scrolling in nature, so similar to Rise interactivity, way beyond what you'd be able to do in a tool like Rise without a lot of customization, right?
So amazing work on this one. Let's go to the next one. Okay, very different course, very different look and feel, very different topic. This one was from
our Beckman College challenge from I don't know how long ago. And this one was helping resident assistants deal with conflict resolution with college
students in a dorm setting. So, let me refresh this, make sure we're starting from the beginning. So, as we can see here, as we look at kind of a high level of the I guess the interface, um, we
have some content here. We have this overview of the framework. Looks like we have this uh perpetual little popup window that allows us to explore the
Sure framework for conflict resolution.
That's really nice. And then we have uh that down here as well where we can explore that. So that's learning about
explore that. So that's learning about the framework. So 20 minutes complete,
the framework. So 20 minutes complete, two student perspectives, four decision points. Let's begin the scenario. We
points. Let's begin the scenario. We
have a little seek bar or a progress bar down here. Okay. So, we're immediately
down here. Okay. So, we're immediately brought into this kind of animated conversation between Kiri and Jefferson
Hall. It's 9:47 p.m. on a Wednesday.
Hall. It's 9:47 p.m. on a Wednesday.
You're in your room. You've just
finished readings for tomorrow. Your
phone buzzes and you recognize the name Kiri. So, hey, I don't really know who
Kiri. So, hey, I don't really know who else to talk to. I don't think I could do this anymore. Let's reply to Curi.
So, we see the conversation play out more.
Uh, of course, uh, I'm here. No rush.
Uh, want me to come over to room 19 and five? We can talk. Okay, we're going to
five? We can talk. Okay, we're going to head over there. So, we'll continue. So,
let's knock gently.
And the door opens. Some kind of some animation there. Um, and we move on. So,
animation there. Um, and we move on. So,
thanks for coming. Sorry, I wasn't sure who else to talk to. Let's respond. And
then we get to choose how to respond.
Okay. So, again, this very story driven, scenario driven course. Um, let's get it right here. Thanks. I'm glad you reached
right here. Thanks. I'm glad you reached out. We get some feedback. Kiri
out. We get some feedback. Kiri
shoulders drop a little. She steps back from the doorway. Come in. Sorry, it's a mess. Let's continue. Now, you're
mess. Let's continue. Now, you're
standing in her doorway. Take a moment.
Don't ask anything just yet. Just look.
Tap anything that draws your eye and let the room speak before Curi does. So,
we're kind of evaluating what is in Cur's room that um you know might give us clues to what she's dealing with, right? So, kind of a hotspots
right? So, kind of a hotspots interaction. Um, we have some
interaction. Um, we have some information about that email open. We
can see the email. What's the concern?
And we can see it tracking the issues down here, right? And I can always click here to bring that back up. And we get a little check mark here. So, we'll
continue forward. Dinner. Uh, she hasn't eaten. Then we have her phone here.
eaten. Then we have her phone here.
Unread messages.
Um, we have uh where's four at? Am I
missing it? Five. Oh, four's over here.
Post-it note. Um, stop using my mug. So,
we're getting all these signals of what might be going on. Tissue box and crumbled tissues. She's been crying.
crumbled tissues. She's been crying.
She's packing up. She's going to leave.
That's not good, right? Okay. So, we've
explored all of the issues. Now, we'll
continue forward here and we're brought back into a conversation. Um, so we see it kind of play out here. We can skip to the choice. Uh, so we don't have to let
the choice. Uh, so we don't have to let it all animate. Kind of reminds me of those games, right? Uh where they have the back and forth dialogue. You're
like, "Let's just get to the end." You
can do that here. Okay. So, we have a decision point.
Correct answer. Continue the
conversation. So, we have this scrolling interaction here. Kiri excels. She talks
interaction here. Kiri excels. She talks
about how she felt. What's been the hardest part for you? Do you think Hannah's behavior is making you feel left out? Um, okay.
left out? Um, okay.
That wasn't the right one. So, we'll
click this one. and it continues on. I'm
ready to reflect.
Okay, I'll continue on.
Okay, so pause. Don't rush to solve before responding. What do you believe
before responding. What do you believe is really going on here? Type your
reflection. You still only heard one side of the story. Now, I thought this was a really interesting interaction as I was playing with it because it's another one where we type in, we submit the reflection, but we have some prompts
here. So, what I'm hearing is type that
here. So, what I'm hearing is type that or click that, it puts it here. I'm
hearing is blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. It sounds like blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. And you can see here it's still counting our words.
And then we have blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Okay. Submit reflection.
And uh you can see it is evaluating it. I don't
know if it these would check off. I'm
not sure how it's evaluating that. But
still super cool. Let's continue
across the room. the other half. So,
this is our other roommate. She clearly
has quite the messy dorm. So, let's
click through these real quickly. One,
two, 3 4 5, 6, and that was all of them. Okay. And then
we have a conversation with Hannah as well. We can skip to the choice
well. We can skip to the choice and we can have that conversation as well. So, we're doing some mediation
well. So, we're doing some mediation here.
And then we do the reflection. Now, I'm
going to Oh, now we have a different mediation between Kiri and Hannah. Uh,
I'm just going to make it blah blah blah. Just so we can see what the end
blah. Just so we can see what the end looks like here. Do I need more words?
Yeah, I need like 30 words. Read it back to them.
Uh, and then we have another step here.
Okay. Notice early, stay neutral, guide the conversation. So we have a recap of
the conversation. So we have a recap of everything. Continue to module 4. Replay
everything. Continue to module 4. Replay
the module. There is no module 4, but hypothetically there would be. So again,
a very totally different course experience than the last one. Um,
again, is it evaluating the typing? I'm
not sure. Right. There are some that we are going to see where it is actually doing that, which are pretty impressive.
But super cool experience. All right,
let's move on to the next one. All
right, this one's a really cool one. Um,
this one is for Cascade State Bank. This
is one we did um last year, I think, and it was all about identifying counterfeit currency, which is something that bank tellers have to do. And what I initially noticed about
do. And what I initially noticed about this one, and you're going to see this with a few others, is how it looks so much like a traditional e-learning course in the sense that we have this
menu here on the left. It's quite a comprehensive course. We do have some
comprehensive course. We do have some scrolling. So, it's kind of storyline
scrolling. So, it's kind of storyline riseish um in terms of its interface, but you're going to see a lot of a lot of custom uh stuff as well. So, about 20
minutes, 11 screens, five demonstrations. I can type in my name,
demonstrations. I can type in my name, begin the training, and we get some information. So, I
believe this tech this course was all textbased um in terms of its content. So
we learn about our role the three characteristics and then we move into learning about um uh what makes you know the anatomy of a
real note. So we have some options here,
real note. So we have some options here, some little markers uh to evaluate these different elements for the currency, right? So we learned that
and then we have some more interactivity here. The five features side by side. So
here. The five features side by side. So
we have a tabbed interaction up here, some content down here, security thread, portrait watermark, color shifting ink, so forth and so on.
Now, I don't know, and this is uh one area where I plan on investigating. What
I'm not entirely sure of is how much of these graphics like the the currency here did the course author provide or how much of it was this generated.
Right? That's one area where I'm still evaluating. So, from there, from our tab
evaluating. So, from there, from our tab interaction, we move on and then we get to evaluate um some different counterfeit notes. So,
the most counterfeit the most counterfeited denomination and the most heavily protected. The $100 is the only
heavily protected. The $100 is the only note with a 3D security ribbon and the color shifting bell in the ink. Well,
all right. So, we see some of that stuff down here, but then we have uh these different tabs where we can change the look and feel of it. Um, it looked like there was going to be some interactivity
where we could tilt it. That's not
working here, but this does something.
So again, that's pretty interesting in terms of what it could possibly do, right? And then we can continue forward.
right? And then we can continue forward.
Um, and then we have this interesting interaction where we have this kind of zoomed in uh magnifying glass. Again,
building something like this in a traditional tool would not be entirely simple, right? So we can zoom in on
simple, right? So we can zoom in on these different elements so that we can see uh the parts of the bill that allow us to detect whether it's counterfeit or
not. And then we continue on to the
not. And then we continue on to the different currencies. Now I'm going to
different currencies. Now I'm going to jump ahead here and uh we have a knowledge check here so we can answer,
we get feedback. Um then we have some more fakes. Uh so we can determine that
more fakes. Uh so we can determine that and then we get to a simulation where we have to figure out how do we respond um
when we have a counterfeit bill. Right?
So there's some different interactions here to see how we can respond.
And then what do you do if you suspect a counterfeit? Right? And if we get to the
counterfeit? Right? And if we get to the end Oh, I guess I got to do the quiz.
Hold on. Uh, I might have already done it before, but I'm just going to click through it and let's see what I get at the end of it.
Next question.
See results. Um, I I can't get my certificate. I think I have to uh get a
certificate. I think I have to uh get a certain percentage and that's okay.
Super cool course. Again, very unique from the rest of them. technically
impressive uh for something that was entirely vibecoded with a tool in beta.
Let's move on to the next one. All
right, this one is a very different one.
I don't even know if I'd call this necessarily a course. It's more of a experiential calculator experience. So, this one is
calculator experience. So, this one is for um I think it's Vanderbilt Reality.
I can't remember the name of the company as I'm seeing it here, but this was all about helping first-time home buyers determine their needs when shopping for a home. Right. So, um, we have a title
a home. Right. So, um, we have a title screen here. Finding home before you
screen here. Finding home before you ting, uh, tour a single house. Get clear
on what you actually need, what you really want, and what you can comfortably afford. So, we have this uh,
comfortably afford. So, we have this uh, uh, title slide here. I'll click begin.
And this is all very much, like I said, experiential. So, think of it like
experiential. So, think of it like almost like a mortgage calculator type experience that you would see on a website. So, we have Maya here. Um,
website. So, we have Maya here. Um,
before we sort anything out, tell me about you. Five quick things. Then we
about you. Five quick things. Then we
get to work. So, what should I call you?
Tim. Uh, who will live in this home? So,
it could be just me, a partner, kids, parents, or in-laws? We're going to do a partner. What are our minimum bedrooms?
partner. What are our minimum bedrooms?
We need four bedrooms, two baths. Uh,
let's do two and a half baths. What feel
is the right size? We're going to do midsize. What's pulling you towards
midsize. What's pulling you towards buying? Um, outgrew our rental. We'll do
buying? Um, outgrew our rental. We'll do
that and we will continue forward. You
can see my name's displayed down here.
We'll continue on. So, what does your life need from a home? So, then we get some information about our needs and again experiential, right? So, it's less about learning, it's less about it's
more about like decision-m, right? So we
have this interaction where we have to define our must haves, like to haves and don't cares, right? And we have all of these different elements here. So must
haves at least four bedrooms, must haves, two and a half bedrooms. Um don't care about the commute to work because we don't commute to work. Dedicated home
office space like to have fenced yard for pets. That is a mustave. Good
for pets. That is a mustave. Good
neighborhood for schools.
Don't have kids. Don't care. Uh single
story no stairs. like to have garage or dedicated parking. Must have walkable
dedicated parking. Must have walkable neighborhood. Nice to have near public
neighborhood. Nice to have near public transit.
Live in Phoenix. There is none. Open
concept. I like that. We're going to make that nice or like to have moving ready. Yeah, I'm not doing renovations.
ready. Yeah, I'm not doing renovations.
Um, we'll give that up here. Built in
the last 20 years. Yeah. Guest room or in-law suite? Sure. Open. Outdoor
in-law suite? Sure. Open. Outdoor
entertaining space. Yeah. So, we
organize all of these and then we continue forward. Great job, Tim. You've
continue forward. Great job, Tim. You've
got a workable list. Seven
non-negotiables, six things you'd love and can flex on. So, it's again, it's dynamically adding these things up.
Super cool, right? Continue. Okay. The
number that doesn't lie. So, now we get into um how much we can borrow, right?
And this is where we get into a calculator experience. So, annual
calculator experience. So, annual household income, let's say, uh 160 and monthly reoccurring debts. So, we have this kind of slider. I don't know,
1,700.
Uh savings ready for the purchase. Uh
we'll say 100,000, right? Does that
sound right? Sure. Um approval ceiling.
So, we can see uh some results here.
Quick estimate on home price. Uh
comfortable monthly payment approval ceiling. That's the most we'll get
ceiling. That's the most we'll get approved for. What's your target home
approved for. What's your target home price? Let's say it's going to be uh
price? Let's say it's going to be uh 450. This is stretched territory, so
450. This is stretched territory, so maybe we need to bring it down. Again,
it's using the information I provided to calculate this. So, maybe we're 280,
calculate this. So, maybe we're 280, which means we're not going to be living in Phoenix anymore. Can I qualify for more? Again, we have some more
more? Again, we have some more calculators here. I mean, isn't that
calculators here. I mean, isn't that amazing?
And we have that information down here.
So, I'm doing a conventional 20%.
Um, we have that information.
Okay, let's continue.
Walk through a house, not a checklist.
So, here we have um here's how this works. In each room, I'll show you a
works. In each room, I'll show you a sketch of the space to set the scene.
Then, list three to four features commonly found in that room. For each
one, tell me if you'd love it or if you think it's nice or honestly doesn't matter. Each feature has a short
matter. Each feature has a short explanation. Okay, so we are reacting to
explanation. Okay, so we are reacting to this sketch here. I assume Claude created this. It probably could be
created this. It probably could be replaced with a real image. Front porch.
Uh, doesn't matter. Entry foyer foyer drop zone. That's nice. Strong curb
drop zone. That's nice. Strong curb
appeal. Love it. Okay, we're going to continue to the living room.
Um, so working fireplace doesn't matter.
Natural light. Uh, big windows. I love
it. Hardwood floors. Nice high ceilings.
Love it. Okay, continue to the kitchen.
So, it's evaluating like our reactions.
Um, this is something that in the real world like maybe the real litter could take this data and it can help them find the home. So, we can see it animating
the home. So, we can see it animating where we're at here. Updated kitchen
finishes. Love it. Love it. Love it.
Love it. Love all those things. Continue
to the bedroom. Walk-in closet.
Bathroom. Uh, that's nice. Okay.
Soaking tub. Nice. Dual double vanity.
Love it. Updated tile finishes.
Again, we're just doing our evaluation here. Patio, fenced yard, nature's
here. Patio, fenced yard, nature's trees, attached garage.
See your wish list. And then it organizes all that content here. Pretty
amazing. And you can download it. Let's
download it. And opens it up as a file.
Look at that. Pretty freaking amazing.
Okay. Sit down with your agent. So then,
um, have you talked to a lender? Uh,
we're preapproved. That's great. How
fast do you want to move?
Ready now.
Moving ready. Uh, yeah, moving ready.
So, we're just doing again these questions. We're going to stay
questions. We're going to stay disciplined in our offers.
Would you ever write or wave the inspection to win a home? Maybe. I don't
know. Probably not. If a home checks every box on your list or feels right, misses a few, which way do you lean? Uh,
we're going to do that one. See your
search strategy. Here's the plan. And we
have all of that here.
And then we have three houses. So, three
houses we can tour. Now, I haven't gotten this far in this demo. This is
pretty awesome. If I were to choose one, I love this home, but I love this like Palm Springsy thing. This would be good for the holidays. So, let's start here.
Okay. So, we have a little listing here.
We can see what it it it has, doesn't have. Um, score this home.
have. Um, score this home.
That's pretty freaking amazing.
Tour the home. Next home. Okay, so we're touring it. So, we're scoring it. I
touring it. So, we're scoring it. I
don't like this home.
And let's tour home number three. The
modern Palm Springs is what I'm calling it. This one's cool. Love it.
it. This one's cool. Love it.
Uh, great. So, we see the comparison. We
can see which one won the scoring. Tim,
your top pick was 38 Hilltop Drive, the wild card. That surprises me because you
wild card. That surprises me because you said you trust the list over feeling the home doesn't lead on the list. Worth
asking yourself. So, again, it's dynamically responding depending on what I selected. That's amazing.
I selected. That's amazing.
Now, write it down. Uh, which one are you writing on?
I'm probably going to write this one.
Yeah.
And then what is your offer price?
I don't know. What's the market like?
We're going to try for a good deal.
Let's go 5,000 under. Log in that price.
Okay.
And it's calculating our payment. Here
we have contingencies.
I mean, this is pretty indepth. Oh my
gosh. Keep the inspection.
How fast can we close?
Let's do 45 days.
Personal letter to the seller. Yeah,
sure.
The finished offer. So, we have our offer here.
Tim, you started this course with I want to buy a home. Six modules later, you have a budget. A list of 15 features you love and then download your profile. What do
you do next? I mean, pretty amazing. I
could see something like this on an actual website for a realer, right? This
doesn't need to be Swarm compatible.
This could just host on the web. Why
would you need to track that?
Pretty cool. That blew my socks off.
Let's move on to the next one. Now, this
one's a fun one. This one, um, I remember from JJ Carter. I think this was one of the first ones I clicked on as I started reviewing challenges. And
this one's a little gamified. It's a
little silly, but from a technical standpoint, um, it's pretty impressive for the sound effects and what it can do and the customized mouse cursor. Again, built-in
claw design. So, inbox defender, help spark protect the portal from imposttor emails. So, this one is all based off of
emails. So, this one is all based off of one that we did uh on fishing attempts, I believe. So, start the mission with
I believe. So, start the mission with some sound effects there. Imposters
incoming. Fake emails are trying to slip into the portal. Catch the fake senders.
Catch suspicious subject lines. Survive
turbo mode. Okay, so power portal.
Charge your battery to move on. Get the
full charge to earn a power up. begin
training. So, we have a menu here.
Choose your scanner. We're going to do sender scanner. Spot the impostor. Some
sender scanner. Spot the impostor. Some
senders aren't who they say they are.
Check for clues. Name, email address, domain. Zap the imposttor. All right.
domain. Zap the imposttor. All right.
So, which one is it? I think it's this one's the imposttor. Little game. Look
at those effects. Super cool. Nice
blast. Okay. Which one's the impostor?
It is the one that I think is going to be misspelled. This one.
misspelled. This one.
Got it. And my battery is going up. Um,
company company Omar Pria Noah. This
one.
Okay. Full charge. Continue to portals.
Slow beam.
Okay.
Spot the fishy subject. Some subject
lines try to scare you or trick you into clicking.
Okay, so we have to do subject lines urgent. Reset your password. That is not
urgent. Reset your password. That is not good.
Reminder document available. I'm going
to say it's that one.
Um I got it. Oh, good. Okay. Continue to
portals. Turbo mode.
Stop the imposters. If an email is suspicious, zap the imposttor. If the
email is safe, let it pass. You need
eight out of 10 to win. Enter turbo
mode. Okay. Uh, can we move this meeting tomorrow? Let it pass.
tomorrow? Let it pass.
Maya Johnson, final warning. Verify your
account now. That's a zap the imposttor.
So, this fun little game. Theo Brooks,
updated agenda for Thursday. Let it
pass.
Grace Lee, questions about next week's slides. Let it pass. Oh, I got it wrong.
slides. Let it pass. Oh, I got it wrong.
That one was suspicious. Display name
Grace Lee doesn't match Linda Chen. Oh,
yep. All right. Linda Chen, client call.
Let it pass.
Daniel Ross, that one is a poster with the one. Noah Brooks.
the one. Noah Brooks.
Let it pass.
Omar, document release.
Good. We got that one. Oh, it's going fast. Uh, let it pass.
fast. Uh, let it pass.
Hang green. Zap the imposttor.
I did it.
And that's the little game. Pretty
freaking amazing. Again, vibecoded claw design. Let's move on. Okay, this one,
design. Let's move on. Okay, this one, uh, this one wasn't based on any of our past design challenges. Somebody just,
uh, submitted this one to see what was possible in claw design. I'm going to refresh this. I believe I can refresh
refresh this. I believe I can refresh it. Um it's all kind of a scrolly based
it. Um it's all kind of a scrolly based course. We have this outline here. This
course. We have this outline here. This
one was on accessibility and essentials.
So they built this this course with this custom menu here on the side um scrolling content. So it's again a very
scrolling content. So it's again a very much a rise like experience um on accessibility standards. But what I did
accessibility standards. But what I did like about it, I mean there's a lot of content. There's some uh knowledge
content. There's some uh knowledge checks in here uh that you can go through and answer. some checklists,
some links, all of that stuff. You can
download those things. But one of the things that I really loved in this course, um, and we have a glossery, but I'm not going to do the glossery. Let me
see if I can find it. Accessibility
documents, images, colors, and visuals.
So, as we get into these, I'm going to go through this one really quickly. Um,
we have some alt text. So, we have a simulator for alt text. So, you could choose what's the proper alt text. So,
it's kind of like a quiz. Um but this is a good example where um this is where we start getting into direct practical application in a
course-like experience. Right? So rather
course-like experience. Right? So rather
than asking me is this have the proper contrast ratio, you actually have to build something with a proper contrast ratio. Right? So here it actually has a
ratio. Right? So here it actually has a color picker in here and we can see what does and doesn't have proper contrast.
Right? And we see the preview here. And
then we have all these different examples here that are good and bad.
Right? So again, something very immersive directly uh applicable. You couldn't
build this in a in a tool today with built-in features. You'd have to vibe
built-in features. You'd have to vibe code this. Amazing.
code this. Amazing.
Um and then we continue on here with some additional ones. So, I'm not going to go through this whole one just because again, this one wasn't based on any of our past design challenges, but still an amazing, unique looking project, built-in claw design.
Nonetheless, let's move on. All right, this one's cool. Again, this one wasn't built um
cool. Again, this one wasn't built um based on one of our design challenges in the past because I don't recognize the company name, but this one is worth demoing nonetheless because this one
brings together audio narration. Um
really really cool simulated example, right? So let me refresh the course
right? So let me refresh the course here. Uh I think we're on the home
here. Uh I think we're on the home screen. We have audio. We have
screen. We have audio. We have
background audio music. I'll let that play. Okay. So signal loss when the
play. Okay. So signal loss when the network drops and the customer's world doesn't. I'm going to turn off that
doesn't. I'm going to turn off that background music here, which I love that they have that option here. Uh a
customer service training start. You'll
watch one call go wrong, watch another go right, and then take a brand new call yourself. What you'll be able to do. We
yourself. What you'll be able to do. We
have our learning objectives um how it's structured. So we have the crash the
structured. So we have the crash the recovery your turn knowledge check right so what it starts with are two examples one that's bad one that's good and then we give it a try for ourselves right and
it's the course takes place in this like simulated CRM environment so let's start the training and listen yeah hi I've been a Vibe customer for 2 years and I need someone to explain to
me why I had zero service for an entire football game last weekend.
Okay, I can look into that for you. Can
I get your account number or the phone number on the account?
It's 614882449.
All right, I'm pulling that up. Okay, I
see I see and pause that so we can pause it.
We could resume it. That's pretty
amazing. We can see Marcus' information over here. His recent calls, his
over here. His recent calls, his information we can watch. Tells us what to watch for. The call is on hold. Uh,
pretty amazing. Let's continue.
All right, I'm pulling that up. Okay, I
see your account. So, what data are we talking about?
Last Saturday, the Ohio State game. I
had no service from halftime through the end of the game. Nothing. No calls, no texts, no data.
Right. So, large events like that, stadiums, concerts, they just put a lot of strain on the local towers. There's
really not a lot we can do about that.
It's a network congestion issue.
Okay. So, you're telling me that's just normal that I pay for unlimited service and I get nothing?
I mean, it's in the terms of service that coverage can vary based on network load. It's not really something we can
load. It's not really something we can guarantee in a situation like that.
My daughter was in the halftime show. I
missed the video of her performance because I couldn't get any signal. I
couldn't even find my wife. And you're
telling me to read the terms of service?
I understand that's frustrating, but there's not really a credit we can offer for network congestion. That's outside
our control.
All right. So then after we watch the non-example, we have a reflection here.
So Marcus is starting to shut down.
Looking back at the conversation, which moment was the real turning point when Jordan asked for the account number before saying anything human when Jordan explained tower congestion before
acknowledging Marcus what Marcus missed.
Um, I'm going to try that one. That was
right. Good. Continue.
You know what? Forget it. I want to cancel.
Okay, I can transfer you to our cancellations team.
Unbelievable.
Okay, continue to the debrief. So, we
have our debrief where the call broke.
So, we see everything that went wrong.
Uh, and now let's see act two, the recovery, the proper way to respond.
Yeah. Hi, I've been a Vibe customer for 2 years and I need someone to explain to me why I had zero service for an entire football game last weekend.
Hey Marcus, thanks for calling in. That
sounds genuinely frustrating. I want to make sure we figure out what happened.
Can I pull up your account? Phone number
works fine.
61488244.
Got it. Pulling you up now. Okay, I've
got your account.
Audio narration still needs some work, but it's still pretty good.
Got it. pulling you up now. Okay, I've
got your account. Tell me more about what was going on. When did you first notice the service drop?
Halftime Ohio State game last Saturday.
It just went dead. No calls, no texts, no data for the entire second half.
Okay. And that was at the stadium.
Yeah, about 62,000 people there.
I can already picture what likely happened on the network side. But before
I get into that, you mentioned you needed service during the game. What
were you trying to do when it dropped?
All right, Alex already knows the technical explanation. Why? Ask Marcus
technical explanation. Why? Ask Marcus
what he was trying to do. To buy time while the count loads. To find out if Marcus wants a refund to let Marcus tell the full story before explaining anything. It's standard troubleshooting
anything. It's standard troubleshooting protocol. I think that C is the right
protocol. I think that C is the right one. It is.
one. It is.
My daughter was in the marching band halftime show. I was trying to video it
halftime show. I was trying to video it and couldn't get any signal. Couldn't
even text my wife. She was in a different section. I missed the whole
different section. I missed the whole thing.
Marcus, I'm really sorry. That's not a small thing. That's a moment you can't
small thing. That's a moment you can't get back. I completely understand why
get back. I completely understand why you're calling. So, here's what I can
you're calling. So, here's what I can tell you happened. At a venue that size with that many people, our towers in that area get hit with more simultaneous connections than they're built to
handle. Your service didn't fail because
handle. Your service didn't fail because of anything with your account or your phone. It was a capacity issue at the
phone. It was a capacity issue at the event. That doesn't fix what you missed.
event. That doesn't fix what you missed.
And I'm not going to pretend it does.
Yeah. I just I've never had an issue with Vibe before. I didn't expect it.
That makes sense. Two years without a problem and then this happens at the worst possible moment. I get why you're frustrated.
All right, Marcus has calmed down slightly. He's expressing surprise more
slightly. He's expressing surprise more than anger now. What's the right move?
Apologize again. Explain uh that this is a rare and probably won't happen again.
Ask Marcus what he feels like. Offer
standard credit. Um, reconsider. Let's
see what happens if I continue.
I want to make this right for you, Marcus. What would feel like a fair
Marcus. What would feel like a fair resolution from your end?
Honestly, I don't know. I just wanted someone to know what happened. Maybe a
credit or something. I'm not trying to get anything for free.
You're not asking for anything unreasonable. I'm going to put a one-mon
unreasonable. I'm going to put a one-mon credit on your account. That's your full monthly plan cost. It won't give you that moment back, but it's something tangible from us acknowledging this shouldn't have happened to you. I'm also
going to flag the location and time frame so our network team has a data point on it.
Okay. Yeah, that actually means a lot that you're flagging it.
Of course. Is there anything else on your account I can take care of while I have you?
No, that's that's good. Thanks, Alex.
Okay, pretty impressive. Let's do the debrief. So, we see the debrief here and
debrief. So, we see the debrief here and we'll continue on to act three. Your
turn. Okay, we have Pria. Let's answer
Priya's call.
Hi. So, I just had a really bad experience and I'm kind of shaking.
Honestly, my phone's data was completely unusable for like 40 minutes this morning, and I need to know what's going on.
Okay. What do you say first? Okay. Uh,
can I get the phone number on the account? That sounds really stressful.
account? That sounds really stressful.
I'm going to get it wrong. Sorry to hear that. Uh, let's do a Okay, it's going to
that. Uh, let's do a Okay, it's going to make me try again. That sounds really stressful and I'm glad you called. Let
me pull up your account. The phone
number on it works fine.
Thank you. 4157062814
accounts under Priya Sha. I had a final round job interview this morning over video from home and the connection just fell apart. The video kept freezing and
fell apart. The video kept freezing and pixelating. My voice was cutting out.
pixelating. My voice was cutting out.
They had to restart twice. I literally
could not finish the conversation.
Okay. Uh, and then what do you do? So,
I'll pause there. You can continue on with this. What I love about this is
with this. What I love about this is that it keeps the conversation going. We
have this interface. It's just a super super super super impressive example. I
don't know if I can hang up on her.
No. Okay, that button doesn't work.
That's okay. Really amazing project. I
could see this being used in a real training environment. uh having managed
training environment. uh having managed a team who did mostly call center training, this was the kind of stuff that we would have loved to been able to
do uh you know years ago. So amazing
work on this. Let's continue forward.
All right, so here's another one. This
one is a bailis brewing example. Again,
very different look and feel. Kind of
reminds me of the beta especiial one. Uh
this one takes place in a brewery instead of a bar. Um but similar vibe here. So, three guests, five minutes,
here. So, three guests, five minutes, ask the right questions, find the right beer. So, this one is all about helping
beer. So, this one is all about helping um you understand how to ask questions to guests and recommend the proper beers. So, again, very different user
beers. So, again, very different user interface. Here we have your toolkit. We
interface. Here we have your toolkit. We
can view the menu here of the different beers. I think we can click on them.
beers. I think we can click on them.
Combination of scrolling. So, it's very much like a web-l like experience. Guest
relation tips. So, we have those here and we're going to start the shift.
Okay. Hi. Uh, I'd like a beer, but I'm honestly not sure what to get. Engage
with the guest. And then we have this sort of scenario based interaction here.
We have some questions up here. We can
ask three questions. We get some notes.
And the questions are down here. Are you
eating tonight or just drinks? Just
drinks. Meeting a friend in like 20 minutes. So, adds that note up here. Uh,
minutes. So, adds that note up here. Uh,
is this your first time at Bailey's?
Well, obviously it's your grand opening.
Okay, that was not a good question. What
flavors are you into?
Um, I don't really know. Okay, so now we got to make a recommendation.
Uh, we're just going to go with a sour. See
what happens. Serve the sour. Uh, an
adventurous miss. Okay.
She didn't really like it. Let's do a different guest. All right. Opening
different guest. All right. Opening
night. What's the move? Hit me with your best stuff. Let's engage. So, we have
best stuff. Let's engage. So, we have some notes. Uh, what are you into? Hop,
some notes. Uh, what are you into? Hop,
malt, or what's your thing? I like a good beer. Surprise me. Uh, are you
good beer. Surprise me. Uh, are you looking for something refreshing or something bold? Something with character
something bold? Something with character but not too heavy. I already had some cocktails. M
cocktails. M eating later just for drinks. Yeah, I
ordered burger and fries. Uh, let's do the German Pzner.
Okay, offkey. Safe call. So, we have some issues here. His head's popping down, but still pretty cool. Um, okay.
It did. Okay. And then we have our next guest. Hey, it's my first time here.
guest. Hey, it's my first time here.
What's worth trying? Engage with the guest. Um, let's see. Uh,
guest. Um, let's see. Uh,
what kind of beers do you like? Uh, I'm
not sure really. Something I can drink.
Light beers or something with more body.
More body. Okay. Uh, what have you had recently? Usually a Guinness. Okay. I
recently? Usually a Guinness. Okay. I
think we're going to do the oatmeal stout. Pour that. Serve it. That's the
stout. Pour that. Serve it. That's the
right pour and the shift. All right. And
we have our scores here. Simple little
scenario-based interaction. Um,
super cool and looked amazing. So, great
job. Let's move on. Okay, so here's another one. This was one of our winning
another one. This was one of our winning submissions for this month. This one's
for Naughty Pines. What I like about this one that you're going to see is this one, I believe, has audio narration like you would see in a traditional like storyline based course, but it's a risel
like experience. Um, just really, really
like experience. Um, just really, really awesome. So, let's refresh the course. A
awesome. So, let's refresh the course. A
couple things that I'll mention about the interface that was, I think, really well designed with this. We have a menu here, really nicely organized menu. Uh,
we have a progress bar up here. The menu
is collapsible. Okay. Um, then we have settings here. So there's settings for
settings here. So there's settings for the course. We can put the course in
the course. We can put the course in dark mode. I mean, look at this
dark mode. I mean, look at this captions. We can do audio narration.
captions. We can do audio narration.
Turn that on on and off. We can reduce motion. I mean, so this person really
motion. I mean, so this person really thought about accessibility when they built this and I think that's super super impressive. We can repeat things
super impressive. We can repeat things and do a lot of the same stuff here. And
then we can even reset the course, which is what I'm going to do here. So I am going to turn on welcome to Naughty Pines's annual Bloodborne Pathogens training. This
course takes about 20 minutes. By the
end, you'll have the practical skills to keep yourself and your residents safe.
Let's get started.
So, we have audio and closed captioning and other accessibility things which I think are amazing. Okay, so that was our welcome. Let's continue. Let me turn off
welcome. Let's continue. Let me turn off the captions here so I can see here.
What's your name? It's Tim. Begin
training.
Bloodborne pathogens are microorganisms in blood and certain bodily fluids that can make you seriously ill.
In a care in a care facility like Naughty Pines, the three you're most likely to encounter are HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.
OSHA OSHA requires this training every year because exposure risk doesn't go away, and your protection shouldn't either.
Bloodborne pathogens reach you through three roots. Tap each one to see how it
three roots. Tap each one to see how it happens in a care setting like Naughty Pines.
So, we have a tabbed interaction or kind of an accordion interaction here. So,
let's click here.
Direct contact means blood or fluid touches a break in your skin. Even a
small cut you didn't notice can be a pathway.
Needle sticks are one of the most common exposures in healthcare. Never recap a needle with two hands.
Your eyes, nose, and mouth are direct pathways. A splash during suctioning or
pathways. A splash during suctioning or wound care can be enough.
Okay. So, um I'm going to turn off the audio as we continue forward so I can speak over it. We have our menu here.
It's tracking our progress. It's quite I mean this is a full built course. And
let's continue on. So, um here we have a scenario before you walk in a quick situation. Read it through. You choose
situation. Read it through. You choose
your PPE on the next screen. So,
scenario, wound care, active drainage.
So, on the next screen, you'll choose every piece of personal protective equipment you'd put on before beginning.
Pick everything you need. Gloves alone
won't be enough. Okay. Now, what I thought was really cool about this interaction is the person who generated this course um change these images depending on what we
select. So, as we select it, the image
select. So, as we select it, the image updates. Fluid resistant gown, surgical
updates. Fluid resistant gown, surgical mask, face shield, eye protection. Super
cool. Submit selection. And we did it.
We'll continue on. So then we have some reinforcing information here. We have
some ocean reminders. Very cool screen here. Spot the risks. Okay.
here. Spot the risks. Okay.
Um uh this is a resident uh room at Naughty Prime. Six things in the scene
Naughty Prime. Six things in the scene could expose you to your residents. Um
but you'll need to hunt for them. Click
anywhere on the photo. So we have kind of a hot spot here. That's an issue. Uh,
and you can see it's updating here.
That's an issue. That's an issue. That's
an issue. That's an issue. That's an
issue. Uh, and that's an issue. There we
go. That's a super cool interaction with the little county dots.
Okay. Uh, here's what you need. Here's
what needs attention. Um, and so we have that here.
And it's adjusting the size of this window viewer here because it's these are expanding. Okay.
are expanding. Okay.
So, we have some handwashing uh information here. Kind of like an
information here. Kind of like an infographic if you will where germs hide. Another interaction here.
hide. Another interaction here.
Highlights things.
Fun little uh click to reveal there. And
then we'll continue forward.
And then after exposure, what now? We
have some quizzing, reporting steps, so forth and so on. I acknowledge. And then
we have our printable certificate of completion.
Super impressive demo. Um, visually very different from all of the other courses.
You're done. Your completion has been recorded. By clicking I acknowledge you
recorded. By clicking I acknowledge you confirm you've completed this year's required bloodborne pathogens training.
I accidentally hit replay the slide. That
was another accessibility feature. I
meant to reset the course. Um, very
unique course. Amazing work. Let's
continue on. All right, so this one is another one from our Bis Brewery one.
This was again the same one recommending different beers, but a very, very different take on it. Um, which I really appreciated. And what I liked about this
appreciated. And what I liked about this one is just the simple graphics. Um,
again, a very unique layout and design.
I love this little pull out menu here that allows us to um navigate the course there. and we'll start the training. We
there. and we'll start the training. We
have some information here about our different beers. Um, let's go back. I
different beers. Um, let's go back. I
think we're going to go back to the main menu and start the training here. Start
training.
Okay. So, we go through the different types of beers. So, this is kind of a menu. Uh, we're navigating through the
menu. Uh, we're navigating through the menu here. So, we see the different
menu here. So, we see the different beers and then uh we can do read the customer. So, now we get to the customer
customer. So, now we get to the customer interaction. So, who walks in and what
interaction. So, who walks in and what do you pour? Six guests, six lines.
You'll actually hear, "Pick the beer you'd send out." There's a clear best answer for each. I normally drink wine.
Not really a beer person. We're going to do our sundial. Spoton. So, these are really, really simple scenarios. Simple,
fun graphics. Uh, we just finished a half marathon. I want something light
half marathon. I want something light and crispy. I'm going to probably
and crispy. I'm going to probably recommend the German Pzner. Got it. Give
me your hoppiest and bitter the better.
Uh, I don't know. Nope. Switch back. Was
it? Uh, I'm having the chocolate tort for dessert. I don't know. Uh, is that
for dessert. I don't know. Uh, is that it? Spot on. Oatmeal stout.
it? Spot on. Oatmeal stout.
My mate just had a Bud Light. Got
anything similar? Uh, amber logger.
There we go. Were brunching eggs benedict mimosa adjacent.
Um, I don't know. I almost got up the cloud bank. Okay. Okay. And then we have pair
bank. Okay. Okay. And then we have pair the plate with the pint. So, we have these different things that we're going to pair. Um, that's probably going to go
to pair. Um, that's probably going to go with the Where's my German beer here? I don't
know. Is that it? Barbecue ribs. Uh, I'm
making this up. Tacos.
Goat cheese. Oops.
I'm just going to make them up. No, I
got them all wrong. That's okay. And
then we have a final quiz. Again,
same course, same topic, totally different look and feel, totally different interface.
Still amazing job for as simple as it was, right? Let's go to the next one.
was, right? Let's go to the next one.
See another one. Okay, here is another one for food uh safety training for Taco Mazing. This was one of our uh favorite
Mazing. This was one of our uh favorite um uh challenges a while back uh with our client Tacoing food truck vendor and uh food uh preventing food born ill
illnesses. So this one again has audio
illnesses. So this one again has audio narration. This one is a highly
narration. This one is a highly customized interface. We have a seek bar
customized interface. We have a seek bar here. There's audio. We have this cool
here. There's audio. We have this cool pull out menu here uh where we're at. We
have some content here and our previous next down here. I'm going to turn off preventing foodborne illness. Tac
amazing Cantina is expanding operations with a new I'll mute that audio. Audio could be better, right? But there's options for
better, right? But there's options for that. So, let's begin the training. So,
that. So, let's begin the training. So,
here's our seek bar here. Uh, click
next. Okay, so keeping food at safe temperatures. So, we're learning a
temperatures. So, we're learning a little bit about food temperature safety. We have some clicked reveals
safety. We have some clicked reveals here with some fun animations. Love
that. And then we get to a quick scenario. a container of cooked chicken
scenario. a container of cooked chicken inside the food truck measures 120 during food service. Uh, what should you do? I'm not sure. Let's do I don't know.
do? I'm not sure. Let's do I don't know.
Continue serving it. No, we should have reheated it. Okay. I'm I don't I don't
reheated it. Okay. I'm I don't I don't work work in a kitchen, so I'm not good with this. Um, we have this cool safety
with this. Um, we have this cool safety risk meter here. Um, so we have these quick questions. Okay. Hot food storage.
quick questions. Okay. Hot food storage.
Where should hot foods be held during service? Um, steam table. That was
service? Um, steam table. That was
right. Cold food storage. Uh, yeah. Ice
cooler. Prep equipment. Shared cutting
board. Separate colorbased cutting boards. I agree. Surface sanitation.
boards. I agree. Surface sanitation.
Wipe with a dry rag. Wash, rinse,
sanitize, then air dry.
Yeah, that's right. So, we passed our safety inspection there.
And then preventing crosscontamination.
Review each kitchen practice. Mark it
safe or unsafe. Okay. Using the same cutting board for raw chicken and lettuce, that is very unsafe. Uh washing
knives between food prep tasks. Uh safe.
Uh storing raw shrimp above cooked pork unsafe. And using separate utensils for
unsafe. And using separate utensils for raw and cooked materials, unsafe. So
again, we can see here. I mean, there might be some accessibility issues here with the layout of these, but still great little interaction here.
And then we have the different zones in the kitchen. a little interaction here
the kitchen. a little interaction here where we um every food item belongs in a specific kitchen. Drag each item and tap
specific kitchen. Drag each item and tap to the zone. Oh, they're right here. Raw
chicken. That's going to go in cold storage.
There we go. Um cooked carnitas. That's
going to go I don't know in our up here.
Oh, there we go. We have to click. So,
it's it's kind of accessible in that way. Raw chicken goes there. Oh, I love
way. Raw chicken goes there. Oh, I love that. Fresh Fresh cilantro goes
that. Fresh Fresh cilantro goes there.
Open salsa tub. Boom. Boom. Boom. I
don't know where it goes, but fun little interaction nonetheless. Dirty knives.
interaction nonetheless. Dirty knives.
Sink.
Open salsa tub there. Oh, yeah. Okay. Fridge. That
there. Oh, yeah. Okay. Fridge. That
would make sense. Next. And then we have our final assessment with some questions and some scenarios.
Super cool course. again looks very different from all the other ones. Um,
but it it looks like a cool complete true course to me. All right, let's continue forward. Okay, here's another
continue forward. Okay, here's another one. This one was also super super
one. This one was also super super impressive. This was similar to the Vibe
impressive. This was similar to the Vibe one uh with the phone call. This one was more on dealing with delayed packages and shipments uh for hypothetical
company called Fedpack. Um, and this was one that we did for the holidays like 2 years ago. And this one you have to
years ago. And this one you have to figure out how to respond to a customer who has a delayed lost package, right?
So, handle a delayed shipment complaint during the holiday season. So, we have the scenario how it works. We're going
to identify, we're going to diagnose, solution, and follow up. Let's continue.
And so, this one's all based in this like chat interface. So, if imagine in the real world, you wanted to simulate what it's like to work in the CRM.
That's kind of what we're doing here, right? So, identify the customer. Click
right? So, identify the customer. Click
autopop populate to pull Mary's record.
Then reply to her in chats. Um, autopop
populate will unlock once Mary shares her name and tracking number. Uh, greet
warmly and ask for her info before opening the record. Okay. Um, let's do She goes, "Thanks for contacting contacting Fedpack. How may I help you?
contacting Fedpack. How may I help you?
Hey, I'm calling about package hasn't arrived. I'm really sorry. I'm sorry to
arrived. I'm really sorry. I'm sorry to hear that. Okay. Uh, my name
hear that. Okay. Uh, my name is Tim and I'd be happy
to help you track down your package. Can
we start with your name and tracking number for me to look up your order?
Okay. And we can see here it has it's counting my words. We have some samples.
will send it.
And it's evaluating. Yes, my name is Mary Bergus. Uh, I shipped a Christmas
Mary Bergus. Uh, I shipped a Christmas gift to my mom. It was supposed to arrive by the 20th. It's been sitting in Denver. And so, identify the customer.
Denver. And so, identify the customer.
Autopop populate from tracking. We got
that here.
Um, how to reply? Confirm her details and uh, reassure her you're looking.
Thank her for the info. Uh, she knows you've got it. Repeat the tracking number. So, we're going to use a sample.
number. So, we're going to use a sample.
Thank you, Mary. We put that in here.
I'll send that just so we can continue forward. So, am I going to get my
forward. So, am I going to get my package or do we need to buy something else? I really need it resolved. Um,
else? I really need it resolved. Um,
it is showing us. So, now we have diagnosed the issue. I didn't even see the slide changed. So, severe weather hold weather delay continuous. So, we're
going to say uh weather delay and confirm the issue and explain your checking. So, we're going to use a
checking. So, we're going to use a sample. Okay. Again, I could have typed
sample. Okay. Again, I could have typed that in there.
And then we have the weather delay.
Okay. So, now we propose a resolution. I
didn't even again I'm reading this. I
didn't even see this changed. Propose a
resolution. Pick the action that best resolves Mary's concern today. Then
explain it to her. Um, let's do I think it's new delivery date. Reschedule for
December 22nd. Package is moving again.
And then we're going to use a sample so I don't have to type all of that.
And okay, that works. How will I know when it actually it's actually moving again? I don't want to keep checking the
again? I don't want to keep checking the website every hour. Follow options will appear. Ask Mary her preferred. Yeah.
appear. Ask Mary her preferred. Yeah.
Okay. Um, how would you Let's do That's no problem.
We can keep you posted on the status of your package. How would you prefer
your package. How would you prefer us to keep you updated?
Give that a try.
Text would be perfect. I always have my phone on me. Okay, great. We'll do that.
And we're going to respond.
Setting up the message.
And then we have our uh completion. We
have a little recap and we can try it again. Again, simulated call. How much
again. Again, simulated call. How much
is it evaluating on the back end of what I typed in? I'm not sure, but that's irrelevant. It did a really great job.
irrelevant. It did a really great job.
It was awesome.
It's amazing. Let's continue on. Okay,
so here's a totally different course. I
think this was another one on Milton imaging for MRI safety. So, here's our start screen. Enter your name to begin.
start screen. Enter your name to begin.
I'm going to do Tim authenticate.
And here we have a totally different course with a totally different look and feel. Totally different layout. Very
feel. Totally different layout. Very
customized. Right. So, Mission Zero Incident MRI safety by Milton. Uh we
have our learning objectives. We have
some content here. We see the safety zones. We have our menu here. Let's
zones. We have our menu here. Let's
start the mission. And so, this one is all about uh understanding the different safety zones. Uh, and we have a little
safety zones. Uh, and we have a little click to reveal here where we see a little map. Uh, we can click on these
little map. Uh, we can click on these elements. I'll continue forward.
elements. I'll continue forward.
Um, this one I thought was cool. I think
the author of this intended a few more things, but so three regions, three lethal lethal may. Click a hotspot or car to inspect uh implant class. So, we
can see the issues here. Aneurysm clips,
pacemaker. Um, but you can see here that I could move this kind of around in a 3D space. So, I don't know if there was um
space. So, I don't know if there was um something intended for this, but it's still super cool uh interaction. There's
a lot of possibility of what you might be able to do with that if you were doing something more intricate.
And then we'll continue forward. Um so,
then we have a drill here where we have to secure uh all of these items. We're going to begin the drill. So, I think I just have to click on these, right? So, it's a simple little simulation here where it's
counting down. Safety safety secured.
counting down. Safety safety secured.
Um, and then we have some different interactions. We have like this chat
interactions. We have like this chat interaction here. Uh, oh, that's a cool
interaction here. Uh, oh, that's a cool graphic or effect there. Retry from
decision. Uh, hi, I'm here for my 2 p.m.
scan. I went straight from the gym, so I'm in athletic wear. Is that fine?
Sure. The gown is optional. Head
through. Um, let's check. Just normal
gym clothes, leggings, and sports bra.
Nike, I think they're stretchy. Stretchy
fabric is fine. Come on in. We'll see.
Nope. See, I'm Many performance fabrics have copper threads. We should check that.
All right. So, a little chat chat interaction there and so forth and so on. Okay, I'm going to pause there. Again, super cool, super unique. Doesn't look like all of the
unique. Doesn't look like all of the other claw design stuff. It looks like a unique course. I think they did a great
unique course. I think they did a great job. Let's continue forward. All right.
job. Let's continue forward. All right.
So, here's another one. Another MRI one.
This one very different look and feel.
I'm going to refresh this. I think this is the beginning of it. Anyhow, so
different zones. We have sound. I don't
know if we have any audio narration. Uh,
but let's begin. I think we just have click sounds. Um, okay. Explore the
click sounds. Um, okay. Explore the
floor four zones. Select each zone on the map to learn its access rules. So,
we have our our different zones here with these different graphics. I love
those. continue to the scenario. So we
have some scenarios. We have this kind of scrolling interface here. Very
simple. Uh no menu or anything like that. So scenario one of three. The
that. So scenario one of three. The
eager family me member. A patient is on the table for her scan. Her husband who has not been screened is standing at the threshold of the scanner suite and he seems very stressed out. Hold on. Let's
take a step back. I just want to be near her. I'll wait right by the door. I
her. I'll wait right by the door. I
won't go in. Click the correct zone on the map. Uh, honestly, he should
the map. Uh, honestly, he should probably be in zone one, but I'm not sure. Let's try zone three. Oh, there's
sure. Let's try zone three. Oh, there's
a little sound effect there. Dangerous
zone. Okay, so now zone two. Correct.
Okay. So forth and so on. So the vendor um we're just going to see what happens.
I got that correct. Zone two. Okay. A
patient is in the scanner becomes unresponsive. The technologist hits the
unresponsive. The technologist hits the emergency call button. A paramedic with a crash. Cart comes running from another
a crash. Cart comes running from another part of the clinic. Uh, no, he can't go in.
No, zone three. He can be in zone three. So,
zone three. He can be in zone three. So,
that was safe. Okay. And then we have our summary here, right? Simple simple
little I I'll call this a prototype, right? A sampling of a course. Again,
right? A sampling of a course. Again,
looks unique from the rest of them.
Pretty amazing. Let's do our final one.
I know this has been a long video. This
one is our final one. This one is a naughty pines course. Uh this was a topic we did a while back for a senior community on the PPE um bloodborne
pathogens. Um what I really loved about
pathogens. Um what I really loved about this course was just the general look and feel. This one's from Morgan
and feel. This one's from Morgan Stevens. Um and we have uh the opening
Stevens. Um and we have uh the opening here. I love this little like glowing
here. I love this little like glowing green effect. We have a mar um progress
green effect. We have a mar um progress bar up here. Our menu here. Full
complete course. Uh, hello. I'm Abigail
uh Cushings. I'll be your guide through this refresher. Let's keep our residents
this refresher. Let's keep our residents and each other safe. And so, we'll continue on. Um, I think there intended
continue on. Um, I think there intended to be a video here. I don't know if this one got rendered. Yeah, I think there was supposed to be a video here that's not in there, but that's okay. So, in
this training, you will five lessons about 30 minutes, a short quiz, identify how bloodborne pathogens are transmitted, reduce risks by taking standard precautions, respond confidently. So we have our learning
confidently. So we have our learning objectives and then we have some click to reveals chains of infection.
Um a lot of interesting ways of again displaying some of the information uh on the screen right tabbed
interaction here so forth and so on. Again another unique look and feel for a course. Um, some use
of emojis, some fun little flip cards.
Here, I thought Morgan did a really great job with this one. Here we have a sorting interaction so you can kind of see what it's capable of. Oh, and then we ran
into an error.
That's okay. That happens sometimes. So,
pause there.
I know that was a really long video.
Okay. But
I don't know how you could look at those examples and deny the fact that that's pretty freaking impressive.
It's pretty impressive for a tool that is 100% AI vibe coding that a tool that is in beta.
Um that's pretty amazing that people were able to create those. Those are things that if you went and demoed them and didn't mention that they were built in AI or how they were built, you'd have
people knocking in your door going, "What tool did you use to build that with?" Right?
with?" Right?
Pretty amazing. And I think what's important is that um you know I think when we look at stuff like this
and we think about um you know what's possible in cloud design and we think about you know the tools that most of us have used in this industry for years and years and years. It's easy to look at
this and concern yourself with the ethics of using AI environmentally copyright all of that stuff. Those are
all valid concerns. And then we think about the technical concerns, accessibility, could you make this work in an LMS environment? Um, I think it's important to understand that as it
relates to the ethical concerns, two things can be true at the same time. We
can all have concerns ethically about what AI is doing to the environment, to society, to the economy, to the workforce. I have a lot of those
workforce. I have a lot of those concerns. That can be true. and you can
concerns. That can be true. and you can acknowledge that it's pretty amazing and that it's coming whether we like it or not. You know what I mean? And then as
not. You know what I mean? And then as for everything else, making this work in an LMS environment, we've already seen people do that. Jeff Bat has shown people how to do that as it relates to
other things like accessibility or editability or updating or governance.
Those are all things that are solved uh with technology or um um or updates to this. I have no doubt that the people at Anthropic are
thinking about accessibility or token usage, all of that stuff. But I I think it's it's just it's really hard to look at these examples and ignore them. And I
will tell you for me, it is completely in the last couple of weeks changed the way I'm thinking about teaching in structural design. It's changing the way
structural design. It's changing the way I'm thinking about teaching e-learning development and it's making me rethink what tools I would recommend teams to
invest in or learn. Um because like I said at the beginning of the video, this feels like a glimpse into the future of what might be possible with developing
digital learning.
And I think it it what it does is it it means that what it means to be an e-learning developer kind of gets flipped on its
head and it's really about being a good director and describing what you want and orchestrating that and then evaluating the output. But the technical build, spending time moving around
rectangles on a screen, um that doesn't seem like that's going to be the future of the work that we do. But who knows?
I'm not a futurist, right? All right. If
you watch this whole gosh darn thing, thank you so much for watching. Um,
again, I think it's important that people see this stuff because it's hard to deny how impressive it is. So, if you haven't done so already, make sure to hit that like, subscribe, and bell button to get alerted the next time I publish a video just like this one. And
of course, join us inside the E-Learning Designers Academy and our free community at e-learningacademy.io. It's where we
at e-learningacademy.io. It's where we help new instructional designers and e-learning developers grow their careers by focusing on skills first. And again,
thanks to everyone who participated in our May design challenge. If you want to check out all of these projects for yourself, check out the links down below. Uh you can also check out my
below. Uh you can also check out my videos where I talk a little bit more about AI and some of my thoughts there.
I'll put them down there. Otherwise,
I'll see you all around. Bye.
