I tested three AI tools that can build a full presentation in seconds. And the

interesting part, they do not work the way you normally create slides. Instead

of opening PowerPoint, choosing templates, and designing everything step-by-step, you just describe your topic and the AI generates the entire deck for you. So, I wanted to see how

good this actually is. In this video, I'm testing Gamma, Canva AI, and Slides AI. We'll use the same prompt, compare

AI. We'll use the same prompt, compare the results, and see which one is actually worth using. So, to keep this fair, I'm going to use the exact same

prompt across all three tools. That way,

we're comparing real output, not just features. Here's the prompt I'm using to

features. Here's the prompt I'm using to see how good these tools actually are at creating slides. Welcome to AI Chief.

creating slides. Welcome to AI Chief.

I'm Clay Fletcher. On this channel, I test the latest AI tools and show you how they actually work through real examples and step-by-step demos. You can

Now, let's run this and start with Gamma. I'm currently inside the Gamma

Gamma. I'm currently inside the Gamma workspace, and the interface is pretty clean and easy to follow. At the top, you have the option to create a new project, and this is where everything

starts. When you click on create new,

starts. When you click on create new, you'll see a few different options. You

can generate from a prompt, paste your own content, use a template, or import an existing file. But for this demo, I'm going with the generate option. Now,

this is where you describe what you want to create. So, I'll paste the same

to create. So, I'll paste the same prompt here. You can also adjust things

prompt here. You can also adjust things like the number of slides, style, and language. I'll leave everything on

language. I'll leave everything on default for now. Now, instead of creating slides right away, Gamma first generates an outline, and this is actually useful because it gives you a full structure of the presentation

before building it. You can see it already breaks everything into sections.

Now, I'll generate the full presentation, and within a few seconds, the entire deck is ready. And this is the output. Each slide already includes

the output. Each slide already includes a title, content, and visuals. Some

slides also include layouts like stats, comparisons, and structured sections that match the content. So, instead of starting from a blank slide, you already have something that looks complete. From

here, you can click on any slide and start editing. You can update the text,

start editing. You can update the text, refine sections, or adjust the content based on what you need. You can also change the design using different themes, and it updates the entire

presentation instantly. For visuals, you

presentation instantly. For visuals, you can choose different image styles or let the AI generate images based on your content. You can also add new slides

content. You can also add new slides just by describing what you want. So,

instead of building slides manually, you're mostly guiding the system. Now,

overall, Gamma is clearly focused on speed. You go from a simple idea to a

speed. You go from a simple idea to a complete presentation in one flow. But,

let's see how Canva handles the same prompt. Now, let's move to Canva. This

prompt. Now, let's move to Canva. This

one works a bit differently compared to Gamma. Instead of generating everything

Gamma. Instead of generating everything instantly, I'm inside Canva AI, and just like before, I'll paste the same prompt here. After that, Canva asks you to pick

here. After that, Canva asks you to pick a style and the number of slides. I'll

go with a clean, professional style and keep it around 10 slides. Now, it starts generating, and the first thing it gives you is an outline. You can see each slide planned out here. Titles, key

points, and what goes inside each section. So, before jumping into design,

section. So, before jumping into design, you already know the full structure. If

you want, you can edit anything here, add new slides, remove sections, or adjust the content. Click generate

design. Now, I'll generate the design.

Instead of giving you just one version, it creates multiple design options. Open

Canva editor. Everything is already built, slides, layouts, and text. From

here, you can edit anything. Change

text, swap images, adjust layout, or customize the design however you want.

So, Canva feels more like a mix. It

gives you a strong starting point, but you still have full control to refine everything. The designs also look more

everything. The designs also look more polished right away. Better spacing,

cleaner visuals, and more presentation ready. Now, let's move to the third tool

ready. Now, let's move to the third tool and see how Slides AI compares. Now,

let's test the third tool, Slides AI.

This one is different from the other two. It doesn't run on its own website.

two. It doesn't run on its own website.

Instead, it works directly inside Google Slides or PowerPoint.

So, first, you need to install the extension.

Once it's installed, open Google Slides, go to extensions, and launch Slides AI.

From here, click on generate new slides, and now you'll see this step-by-step setup. First, it asks for your topic.

setup. First, it asks for your topic.

So, I'll paste the same prompt here.

Then, you choose how you want to generate the content. I'll keep it simple and go with just the topic. Next,

you get some extra options. You can

choose the type of presentation, like business pitch, marketing, or educational. You can also adjust tone,

educational. You can also adjust tone, language, and add instructions if you want more control.

Then, it asks how you plan to present, like presenting live or sending it to someone. After that, you pick a design

someone. After that, you pick a design style. There are multiple templates you

style. There are multiple templates you can choose from here. Now, it starts generating the outline. Just like Canva, it builds the structure first. You can

see each slide here before finalizing, titles, points, and overall flow. And

once it's done, everything gets added directly into Google Slides. So, instead

of a separate editor, you're working inside a tool you already know. This

makes Slides AI feel more practical if you already use Google Slides or PowerPoint, but it also takes a few more steps compared to Gamma and Canva. Now,

let's compare all three and see which one actually performs better. Now, we've

tested all three tools using the same prompt. So, here's what stood out. Gamma

prompt. So, here's what stood out. Gamma

is the fastest. You type one prompt and it builds everything in seconds. Canva

gives you more control. You see the outline first, choose a design, and then edit everything inside a full editor.

The slides also look more polished from the start. Slides AI feels more

the start. Slides AI feels more structured. It walks you through each

structured. It walks you through each step and builds everything directly inside Google Slides or PowerPoint. Good

if you already work there and do not want to switch tools. So, it really depends on how you like to work. Fast

and simple, more control, or inside your existing setup. For me, Canva feels like

existing setup. For me, Canva feels like the best balance. You still save time, but you do not lose control over the final result. But, overall, all three

final result. But, overall, all three tools solve the same problem.

So, now I'm curious what you think.
