God often floats ideas to you when he knows that you will be resistant.
When the Lord or Holy Spirit wants a person to consider something that he knows you will resist, he often floats an idea in your mind to get you to think
about it, to start to consider it. God
inspires, encourages, or even provides insights and revelations to individuals who will listen to him. Isaiah 55:8,
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord." For example, if the Lord wants
Lord." For example, if the Lord wants you to move to a new state, then he could first give you a thought such as living in Texas would be a great place
for you and your family and ultimately connect you to more godly relationships and allow you to walk in your calling.
Or you might hear this, you may want to consider leaving your current church due to leaders who are in hidden sin. and
then two months later you learn the senior pastor was involved in sexual sin with the worship leader and the church collapses. Or you'll hear this, if
collapses. Or you'll hear this, if everyone turned against you, would you still follow me? And then later everyone in your life seems to turn against you for a season of maybe 5 years as the
Lord was preparing you to learn to walk in a stronger reliance upon him. So,
some ideas that the Lord and the Holy Spirit float are things that you would never want or consider to do, but would ultimately be a great thing for the Lord's kingdom on earth. Think about
Jonah. Jonah 1:es 1-3 says, "Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah, the son of Amita, saying, arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it,
for their wickedness has come up before me." But Jonah arose to flee a Tarsish
me." But Jonah arose to flee a Tarsish from the presence of the Lord. He went
down to Japa and found a ship going to Tarses. So he paid the fair and went
Tarses. So he paid the fair and went down into it to go with him to Tarses from the presence of the Lord. So Jonah
knew that Nineveh was very evil as they tortured and killed people who serve God. So he wanted nothing to do with
God. So he wanted nothing to do with them, was afraid for his life. Then we
know the Lord ultimately caused his ship to almost sink in a storm in the Mediterranean Sea. So he was thrown
Mediterranean Sea. So he was thrown overboard, swallowed by a whale. Shortly
after, Jonah agreed to do as the Lord instructed. He then warned the people of
instructed. He then warned the people of Nineveh to repent or else God would destroy them. And they actually repented
destroy them. And they actually repented and fasted and obeyed the Lord. Nineveh
was the largest city in the world for 50 years until 612 BC with over 120,000 people. It took 3 days to walk across
people. It took 3 days to walk across it. Nineveh was eventually renamed Mosul
it. Nineveh was eventually renamed Mosul in the country of Iraq. And because of Jonah's obedience, it developed into having the most Christians of any city
in Iraq. Today, it's the second largest
in Iraq. Today, it's the second largest city in Iraq with 1.8 million people. So
listen to what the Lord or the Holy Spirit is trying to get you to hear.
Consider it and then ask the Lord to confirm it. And then if you walk in
confirm it. And then if you walk in obedience, watch what the Lord does. All
right. So, I have a book called Freedom from Soul Wounds and Demons, helping thousands around the world to get healed from their hurts and wounds and get delivered from their oppressive demonic spirit so they can actually hear the
Lord and the Holy Spirit and walk in that fruit of the spirit. Okay. The book
is called Freedom from Soul Wounds and Demons. And it's currently a bestseller
Demons. And it's currently a bestseller on Amazon. It's available in paperback,
on Amazon. It's available in paperback, Kindle, and Audible, also in Spanish.
