hey guys so this week's video is a suggestion from Discord apparently I don't talk enough about my grow tent which I thought I did but I think I

focus too much on like a specific layer like a level down here of my grow tent and people were like we don't know enough about your setup and things like

that so this is going to be a tour of my grow tent information about how big it is what I've done to kind of like set it up the lights I use the things that I use to kind of rig it and then I'm going

to take you through every plant that is in here and that is it I thought about doing an updated plant room tour but I don't think it's quite time yet it hasn't even been a whole year since my

last one so we're just gonna focus on the 10 today pardon my hair and my general appearance I thought about doing my hair but I was like I'm pretty much gonna be behind the camera the whole

time so let's not bother I also have a giant pimple I don't know if you can see it it is right there so now that that's out of the way let's talk about

the tent this tent I've had for a about three years somewhere around two and a half to three years I've had this one I

used to say that I don't want to grow tent I don't want humidifiers I want to grow tent I just want plants as Decor looking pretty on shelves and then I got

this tent and I'm obsessed with it I've never stopped being obsessed with it it's just like my happy place and it's where I put plants that I want to grow really big and it works really well for

me and I just kind of like try to integrate it into the decor of this room being like very jungly and very kind of I don't want to say like sterile but it

is a little bit more industrial looking in here than like say my living room which is a lot more Woody and stuff like that so that's kind of just like the look I've embraced the wire shelving

just to make it kind of a cohesive-ish look it could probably look better but I like the way it looks right now this plant room has gone through like quite a transformation over the last few years

and I really like the way that the grow tent is kind of like very centralized on this wall and then all my exos in like a big open Shelf behind me I thought I knocked over my mother light so I'm gonna like throw in

footage and stuff of the stuff that I'm talking about as I tell you about the tent so this tent I got off Amazon this particular one is no longer available

I've looked for a link for it I don't think it's there anymore um but at the time I purchased this one because it is it was like 70 or something like that which was a lot

better than spending 200 on a tent which I didn't really I wasn't convinced that it was any better than this one like I couldn't really see the difference

because like there are features on it that are present on the 200 ones and obviously when you go bigger you're gonna pay more money but I wanted something that fit really like snugly into this room and the reason why I got

it in the first place was because I was going away on a work trip for three weeks and it was in summer time I wanted something contained that would kind of hold in humidity better I had a lot of

like kind of to me at the time very precious like import plants and things like that didn't want my boyfriend to have to like deal with drying out too much but that's the reason why I bought the tent in the first place so as far as

the dimensions it is four feet wide five feet tall and about two feet deep I could probably get a taller one in this room but I didn't have the room for

anything kind of um deeper because three or four feet I would just have like no space whatsoever so this is about as big as I can go in this room I've kind of like toyed with the idea of getting like

a really big walk-in tent for the basement but um that would require my boyfriend to give up some of his space so we're not there yet I would

absolutely love to have a grow tent that big that I can walk into that I can have like wall-to-wall shelving and I'd be able to grow larger plants in there because at the at this point when a

plant gets too big it has to be moved out of this tent so that's really the only downfall because I would love to grow some of these plants permanently and attend it's just like it's not

feasible for my space so the reason why I purchased this one other than it being like quite affordable price is because it has like also the silver reflective

walls inside which was really important to me because I wanted it to be able to reflect heat and reflect light because the really nice thing about like this reflective like metallic inside versus

like the the white plasticky um inside tents I'm sure you've seen that before is that when the door is closed you've got light kind of bouncing around everywhere so you don't so much have to

deal with plants kind of facing upwards just towards the grow light white does bounce light but it doesn't bounce light the way that like a shiny metallic finish does so this was really nice it

also has vents on the side for you to like vent out like you know equation tubes are like vent air inside for air exchange I don't use them I just keep them like slightly open so that there is

a bit of air coming in and out but I don't Focus too much on that it also has that like kind of um drip tray kind of layer at the bottom so water and stuff

is not leaking out onto my floors so basically it has every feature that I personally need and to me it wasn't worth paying three times the price for like a brand name one so this is really not a brand name one at all it also has

something I really like which is like a viewing window on the front so I have this little viewing window which I can just like peek my little head in every morning and just kind of look at plants so that is one thing I really enjoy about this tent all right so I'm gonna

pick up the camera now I'm going to show you like the shelving that I use the wire grids that I use to hold up like my little shelves grow lights stuff like that and I'm gonna try my best to remember where I got it and I'll link it

in the description although I will tell you if I recommend it or not so you'll know another thing that you'll notice is that I don't run fans and I don't run humidifiers so it's

just the humidity from like the plants themselves that circulate in this greenhouse and it's normally 80 to 90 humidity in there it's very it's humid enough for almost all plants that I own

and you're gonna see in a second which one is not humid enough for I have never had issues with fungal stuff in this tent due to like lack of airflow so that's that's just I guess information

for you um I've mentioned in the past um I think it was on my video it might have been charmaine's video I don't remember but I mentioned that I haven't

been having issues with like fungal stuff on the substrate like mold and I haven't had much issue of fungal stuff on leaves since using great white I

don't know if that's like correlated or not but I don't do anything to increase airflow in this tent I've never ever ever used fans on any of my greenhouses

that's just something that I was far too lazy to do didn't want to spend the extra money on a fan and also like the additional Electronics I have to also plug and keep on a timer so it hasn't

been necessary for me not that I'm saying that it's never necessary and that the people who are using it is like not necessary for them just I haven't noticed personally on my setup that it's

like resulted in like leaves melting leaves you know getting crazy fungal infections and then like yellowing off and stuff the damage you're gonna see is

mainly to do with pests or underwatering or root rot those are like the the damage you'll see on the leaves when you see the plants so I just need to limber

up a little bit for when I pick up the camera when anytime I'm behind the camera my arm gets so tired so pray for me here

we go all right this is the point where I turn the microphone around and it's like right by my mouth so apologies if it's sounding a little close but it sounds a lot better this way trust me so

this is the tent so what it looks like pan you up and down this shelf I believe is an Amazon Basics shelf that I got a long time ago and I used to have it like

over here where this massive one is used to be here but then it was the perfect height for this one I actually had to remove

the wheels I used to have wheels here at the bottom but with the wheels it wouldn't fit inside this uh tent and it's something like just under the three

feet wide around like 18 inches deep and um yeah those are the dimensions I would have loved to have a four foot wide shelf that would just like span the

whole thing but I just I don't know I can't find it I remember Amanda sent me a photo of like what she has which was like the perfect width I looked for it in in Canada and I just couldn't find it

she bought it from like some office supply stores similar to Staples such a shelf does not exist in Canada as far as I could find and I haven't looked for it

recently but I would love if I could find a wire shelf that just fits this perfectly but I've been able to make it work so the girl lights I use in here

are all Barina t5s so I have let's see I have two across the top one each on the corners that face this way so there's one there

one here I have one for every shelf here so one that goes onto this shelf one that goes onto this shelf and then I have another one here that's for like my

kind of little acclimation Corner that's what it's turned out to be lately and then to make sure that I maximize the space I I think I can actually maximize it more but I have wire grids hanging

off the back so I have S hooks hanging off the bar that comes with the tent and this one here I do not recommend buying it from Amazon it is far too expensive

but this one this one that's wider is from Amazon these littler ones they're like a little bit narrower are from a place called umomo it's kind of like Daiso if you've heard of Daiso it's kind

of like a like a Japanese Dollar Store type of thing except nothing's a dollar but it's far far far cheaper than the Amazon ones and I do do not recommend buying from Amazon I was just like

really desperate to get one I I just need you guys to know like if I can put the emotion in my hands don't buy from Amazon one of these or maybe like a two pack was like 30 something dollars

versus I think one of these little ones from umamo was like I don't know like three dollars or something like that just just get the cheap ones if you can

please and then on the wire grids I've used these little like shelves that are made for the wire grids so these little white ones are I have a few different styles I think but these are also from

umamo and I think they're maybe like a few dollars each I wish it was black but they don't do black I think they do brown which is almost worse than white um I wish they did it black I could

spray paint it I suppose but I just I didn't um so there's that style there's a little bit of a shorter style fiddle focus on that there we go shorter style

there this one I got from Amazon and this is one I do not recommend it was far far too overpriced again it was covet I was desperate I was a Shopaholic

don't get it from Amazon it's so so so expensive but it is black and I do use this quite a lot so I've gotten the use out of it fortunately this one also came with that one in a in a set so this

one's more like a basket style and then this is another like basket style but this one is from umamo the white one so the S hooks really hold things in place really well um you can put so much weight on it and

it holds it and you can just kind of like link them up like one by one if you want it to like hang a bit lower so for instance I didn't want this wire grid to be so high up because there's like more

vertical space that's unusable because like I can't have plants that close to the light like the light is right there so I was able to like drop it down a little bit lower using more s-hooks there's so many things I need to

remember to link in this video but yeah there's S hooks there um all around and they're just hooked onto These Bars which is just like the frame of the grow tent other kind of rigging things like kind of hold the

grow lights in place using whatever I have on hand so this one's like wire ties I also sometimes use velcro ties like for example this one this is not inside my tent but I also use black

velcro tape sometimes I will also use zip ties so the ones that like are vertically pointing forward one thing that isn't kind of annoying about wire shelves is that because there's gaps in

between here when the pot is quite small it has a tendency to slip through here so for example this round cup that I use quite a lot like

it will do this kind of thing and I've had like plants fall or slip and like a lot of pond raining down the tent so one thing that I've been able to do is like

find Plexiglas so this I believe this piece of Plexiglas runs all the way to about here so there's a little bit of space where there's no Plexiglas but I

got it for free and it's just been so much easier just to get plants to sit like exactly where I wanted to because without the Plexi I would have to like like find a spot where would balance

properly and like not move it too much but with the Plexi I can just literally sit it anywhere so I highly recommend that you can also get like shelf liners um which is kind of like it comes in a roll and you cut it to shape it's just

with those shelf liners it's not completely clear it's going to be like kind of frosted maybe a little bit bumpy but you it will solve the problem of the grip but you won't be able to have any

light coming through it from above if that doesn't matter to you then if you feel like the shelf liner thing is probably a good idea and you can get those from like the dollar store and I

just have this disco ball from Charmaine and it just kind of really completes things I really love this little disco ball um okay so I'm going to start from up

here I think we're gonna go this way and then come down and then go this way and then we're gonna end up on the floor which I'll probably end up just sitting with you on the floor and pulling plants

out one by one so starting here is my pride and joy by dark Phoenix which is looking a little bit crazy right now um the leaves are all kind of facing different ways because I've moved it

around a few times the roots are looking stressfully full the thing is going to need a repot very soon and I said like I said on the record in a video I believe

that um this plant was gonna Flower by the end of summer and guess what it has not flowered at one point this petiole was getting real swollen and I was like oh

it's coming and then I just put out a leaf instead so no flowers so far I really want to breed this plant but it just doesn't want a flower for me yet but luckily

Jing has been able to sell hers ours I believe are from the same seller I know she's gotten a few over the years so that's why I'm confused or like not sure

if hers is from the same same uh grower in Indonesia I know that we did get ours from the same place I just don't know if it's exactly the same one but in any case ours do look a little bit different

ours are a lot more like round and handsome and minor kind of like sharp and angry looking so at some point if we're able to breed ours together that

would be super ideal up here is my this is the one where I was saying that the humidity is not enough that in the tent this is this is what happens with every single leaf when I went away on

holiday this is the only plan I didn't even notice this plant because it was completely shriveled up um I was like oh the plants didn't do so bad but this one was just just like a

plate of nachos so if you don't know about the wlay it really needs like a very high humidity and it wants to be sitting in a swamp all the time so I

don't know if you can see it's always sitting in water for me and I've been able to keep it growing that way but it's not like growing well it's

not able to hold on to to leaves um without doing this kind of thing I think it was like a import from either Echo general or Tropicals from Jing and

she was like get this get this out of my house so I was like I'll take it here is my little Pap Port from Amanda

um it just got chopped a few videos ago several videos ago actually um it's it's rooted pretty well in this tree fern with a pond drainage layer

because uh I ran out of like I now have a lot of like a but the pond layer didn't work too shabby actually and it's looking nice and perky the leaf that was

growing when I when I chopped it predictably didn't form very well didn't form fully but I think it'll come back

up here is this was at the time sold by Tropicals as SP no originally was Ace of Spades by forgetty eye or forgetty eye by Ace of Spades I forget the order and

they said they only had a few plants available and then all of a sudden they're like this is sp velvet and then they didn't sell it anymore so I highly doubt it's an Ace of Spades hybrid

um what they do have I believe is the green form Ace of Spades I I'm mean I don't see it but it's very cute and it's like very smooth you see like how how

smooth it looks it is a very flat leaf surface and um it's pelty but it's not fully pelted they have like a little bit of a sinus do you know what I mean it's

not like as round as other ones this Leaf is going but you can see that this is another one I got from Jing she got it when it was being called Ace for Getty eye and then she got it and I was

like this just looks like a forgetti eye or like a crystal for Getty eye or something like that so she took a little chunk cutting gave it to me and I've really enjoyed growing it over here is

my stunning beautiful Carla B vep from Amanda which is originally a cross between Juan and Grand this plant is just oh

I love it so much this is one of my favorite plants I've ever gotten from Amanda and I'm so glad it's sizing up and it's getting a little bit darker so this new Leaf this is the newest Leaf it

is about to push another one but this one has been getting more light than the previous ones and it's been staying a little bit darker it just got nicer color on it and I just like really really enjoy

um this little pink sinus and like over time it starts to protrude a little bit you can see it was quite flat when the leaf was like hardening off and then once it hardened like past the hardening

stage it started to protrude like a little sphincter I love it so much it's not as like sphinctery as uh Lauren's so you got a different one from the seed batch hers

is like it's like this it's this pulsating mine's a little bit more shall we say subtle but it's still there

looking right in the eye this here doesn't need such a prime spot I don't know why oh I moved it here to make room for my cartel plants but this is um one

of my forgetti eyes this is a kind of like dark with minimal silver cross with a true dark form with like no silver so the result is like a quite a blade with

like the skinniest little silver veins and um because my my mother plant was quite young like I just got it I was

like let's hybridize you so I pollinated it and it was not a strong mother so the the plants are a little bit dwarf like they're quite small and it's taken

forever for them to size up so me and Lauren kind of referred to this as for Getty eye mini um as if that's a positive thing it's just kind of is it's not the strongest

for giddy eye they do grow and you know they're hard to kill they're not like sickly but they're not robust in terms of sizing up this here is my vgi narrow

form I've had this for years and this is about as big as I can grow it there's another Leaf it's pushing one right now and it's making me so nervous

like I just want to free you I'll probably um spray it with water after I finish filming but I'm just waiting I just wanted to grow big big big like um

perverted looking leaves it is not a fast grower but it has grown so much better for me since getting into tree fern soil so before I was in like a

Barky eroid mix and then um getting into like a less Barky soil mix like almost no bark at all and then adding like a 50

tree fern fiber has been like it just has been growing so steadily after that slowly but steadily like that's better than no growth at all so if you have Avicii that's not really doing much for

you I recommend this mix and also it started rooting very fast after getting into this mix as well so I'm just saying it's kind of a hard plant to root sometimes when you import it but if you

get some tree fern in that soil mix it could do some good things for you this is so I used to show my fry deck a lot

until it started just to put out so much white and it can't sustain the leaves so they just fall off and so it's a three leaf little thing that is just so

variegated and I'm kind of over it and it also doesn't quarm for me I've gotten one corn out of it in the what two years that I've been growing this plant

it gets a really good spot in this tent but it's not really doing much with it I started using TPS silica gold on my plants so hopefully it will help with the variegation staying variegated you

know what I mean it's only been like a month of using silica so we shall see um do you guys remember when I snapped my politiflorum on camera

this is how it's doing right now I actually have a second one so I recently posted a photo of my second politiforum which is like a narrow form that I got

last year that one's doing fine this one on the other hand is clearly not rooted yet this is another leaf it's not focusing but you can see how curled up

it is it's really hard to get all the way back there I might just zoom you in so you can see really nothing happening here either he figures it out or he doesn't I have the

bottom of this plant still and that one's pushing a leaf and my narrow form is pushing the leaves so if I lose the top I lose the top next to it is um a

very white monstera elbow this is one of my TPS silica projects it's gotten silica a couple of times since I started using it and the newest sleeve the

newest Leaf is this one tune okay it's also pushing another very white leaf I don't know if you can see so we'll see if like these leaves stay white without like doing this Browning

thing I'm not emotionally invested in this plant but I really want to see if the silica does help with the variegation it is so hard to film in this corner oh my gosh so this is my uh

variegated guitar folium this plant is starting to look so good I got this from um Jing as kind of like a rehab she she was just having trouble growing this and she was like just get it out of my sight

I don't want it anymore and it was quite sad for me for a really long time I planted it in tree fern I don't know if you can see the roots but it's not rooted like crazy um for the longest time she had it

growing in pond and it was growing for me and then it would like melt off leaves I don't know if you can I don't I'm just trying to do this with one hand but do you see this Leaf here I had like

cut the end of it off because it had crisp at the end and just cut this maybe a couple of months ago or something like that and then since I used silica the newest leaves

have been forming quite nicely and the the tips are not Browning so fingers crossed that that's the ticket for this plant I'm really

enjoying this because like the where it's sitting right now up in that corner it really gets like Optimal light so it's not growing kind of like wonky and weird you know how like strap Leaf

antheriums can you know turn to face the light in different directions and it just looks like really janky and weird but this one's looking very nice tidy little bushy set of leaves and the

variegation has been holding up the newest leaf looks like it's going to be nicely variegated overall I've been very happy with this plant in the last six months before that I was like I I was almost

done with this plant at 1.2 but I've been keeping it like quite moist all the time I don't really get let it dry out not that like I think that it wants to

be like always wet but it just happens that this plant uses water very slowly so I just like water it when when the other plants get water so it never really has the opportunity to dry out in

that case but yeah it just lives right here oh my gosh my arm's already getting tired this is my philodendron Rio not that

um any heterasium should need to live in a grow tent I just I think I put it in here because I was propagating it so I got two unrooted cuttings from Charmaine

I put in pond and then I just never took it out and it's been growing so much for me at one point it was like flopping over so I just took wire ties and just

tied it to the grid but this is honestly like one of the prettiest um like kind of Brazil cultivars it's just I love the gray and just the lack of yellow on this

I really really like this plant it is very unpredictable like you can throw a low vacation and then like a high variegation fuel focus and the very long leaves you know

it's not like a perfect chordate heart shape like that I just that's my favorite Brazil cultivar I think by far like way better than the Gabby in my opinion this is living in my grow tent

for some reason this is an orchid what is it called there that's the name I'm not even gonna attempt to say that out loud I got this from equa General

last year at some point I think it has been very severely neglected and it's probably dried out on more occasions than I can count and it gets like shaded from the light from above so naturally

it has not flowered for me I really wanted to flower actually I have another one that I want to flower more it's like a lady slipper orchid that has a really really long whiskers this one has more

like a red like back shaped flower if I recall correctly I got this one because the leaves are actually kind of cool it's not just like a plain green it's kind of like silver leopardy kind

of print I thought this one was quite cute and it's like very small and compact I will continue to grow it I don't know what to do to make it flower I think maybe it needs like a temperature drop or like I don't know a

drought period I have no idea I just have not gotten around to really researching my my orchids but it will live here until I need that space I

suppose hanging off the back there is my philodendron heterocraspid on it has just put out a leaf that is a little bit small but you know I'll take it it got hit with spider

mites so bad I see all this damage I should probably just cut this Leaf off I don't know why I didn't but yeah it looks really thrippy but it was definitely spider mites it gave you

a little bit of a close-up there this is the only leaf that was affected on this plant but I use spider mite knockout on it which I talked about in a recent video The Leaf below it

this is completely fine this would have been the newest Leaf at that point so I'm not surprised that that one got hit and I've been keeping a close eye on this one just to see if the spider mites came back and I don't see any damage I

don't see any Mite so I think we got it all right moving down a level this is my Fullerton not feeling anthurium luxurians which should be so much bigger than it actually is given its age it's been with

me for pretty much as long as I've had my dark Phoenix so it would have been like I don't know two and a half years or something I have been this close to buying a bigger one just so I don't have

to struggle with this one so much anymore it's living in pond which I do enjoy for the Lux I just think that I don't know maybe it needs a repot I don't know

do you think maybe I find that when it dries out even a little bit it does this thing like luxurians is kind of a tough plant like it's hearty in some ways but

at the same time it can be really sensitive and I find that this gets passed on to Lux hybrids so when the Lux hybrid dries out even a little bit it starts to like yellow on the edges and

there's no coming back from that it just happens to the entire Leaf it doesn't just happen on like the tip or something it's just the entire leaf and the Leaf's just ugly forever so I find it kind of

difficult for that but it can be kind of tough in that it can withstand a lot and come back it's just not the easiest anthurium in my experience over here I'm gonna have to pull them out because it's

really hard to put the camera in there this is my philodendron bi-color which I always forget about this plant but every

time I look at it I'm like you are so freaking adorable and I remember when I was like coveting this plant so much and when I finally got it for my birthday like I got it for myself for my birthday

from Echo Genera I think that's a tag I got it from the pop-up um it took a really long time for it to root for me and um in that time I just kind of like left it because it wasn't

growing so I kind of like wasn't really looking at it so much but it is such a freaking cute plant I think

I think it's asking for something Perhaps Perhaps it would benefit from a moss pole but it has rooted pretty well in this Pond it just took a really long

time and some people I don't know you're not gonna be able to see through all this algae but there were a couple people that were like asking me about my bi-color and whether I'd gotten it to

root you can see it's been rooted and it is growing it's a little bit slow um but it doesn't get a ton of light either so that's my little bi-color update I do really like this plan it's

such a pretty long leaf philodendron this texture is very like almost powdery matte you know what I mean and obviously

it has the red red back sides and the two-tone petioles maybe here yes you can see there's like a clear line between the red and the green at some

point it was like very hyped up because it was very like rare and and expensive and then once Echo generators started selling it people just like they don't care about this plant anymore but you

guys know how I've kind of like fallen out of love with philodendrons but this one is really cute I'm like very happy I got it I got it on the last day of the

aqua General pop-up and it was 40 off or something like that so it wasn't still a bit expensive for me but at that time I think it was 2021 [Music]

something like that yeah I was 2021 and it was um or 2022 actually but at the time bi-color just wasn't available anywhere and Echo General wasn't selling

it through like um their Ecuador order forms so this one came from Echo Genera Florida so I was like I don't think I'm gonna have the opportunity to buy it like a full plant of it so I just I

picked it up and I don't regret it even though I don't ever ever show this plant and I kind of neglect it honestly um I'm a little bit guilty for that but

I do really enjoy this plan still and I I'll get you a moss pool I'll get him repot and stuff and we'll grow you nice and big what a cutie all right we're a

second level from the bottom this is my maglux from North Shore Tropicals this is one of Lauren's hybrids and it's definitely my biggest seed grown plant

this is I think I showed this I must have shown this in a favorites video or something it's doing really well in pond this is my extremely sad Pappy hybrid

um from Indonesia I simply cannot figure this plant out I don't think it's rotting The Roots I don't know they're maybe rotten Roots but there's definitely healthy Roots as

well I've not let it completely dry out and this is what it looks like I'll probably pull it out at some point and figure it out but today today is not

that day my begonia La birziai I recently chopped this up I chopped four pieces off of it so this is like the bottom that I kept for myself it's coming back it grows really fast once

it's like kind of going and it does seem to quite enjoy the pond so it looks sad right now but it will come back the cuttings look really nice so I gave one

to Charmaine one to charmaine's mom um Jing bought one from the NST live sale and um another person bought off the live sale and this plant was originally from

Amanda I don't see it for sale very often but yeah when they're young they get they have a lot of silver mine seems to have like a lot of silver

don't don't look at this Leaf as an example because the cuttings that I took off of it it was like really really dark black and the new leaves come in looking like that so cute I mean I don't have a lot

of begonias this is one of my favorite of all time because it's like so velvety and nice I mean it's not velvety but you know what I mean inside that rubbery kind of velvet I'm gonna pull my Ace down so you

can see it in all its Glory this is a new Leaf this is also an Amanda plant it hasn't been like the easiest plant of all time I'm almost certain it got spider mites at one point

I think we are in the clear now because every time I see spider mites or spider Mighty damage like like that I just treat it immediately and you can see the

newest leaf looks quite good and the roots are looking really good this is just an opportunity to check on my plants because I haven't been in my tent in a few days yeah this new Leaf is growing really nicely every time I look

at one of my Amanda plants I'm like this is my favorite and then look the next one I'm like no this is my favorite I wish the camera would pick up like the Browns more it's showing more green on the viewfinder but it is so pretty okay

I'll put you over inside for now this one is my antherium red Crystal Port also from Amanda this is the newest Leaf it

was grown from like a teeny little guy so I'm quite pleased with this size jump um that was the leaf before it this is the leaf after it and it's looking ready

to push out another it hasn't emerged yet but it is getting there this one gets a pretty Prime spot at the front of the tent and it gets the light that's reflecting from the front door oh this

is a plant I just kind of recently chopped to sell it's my antherium Carib Queen this Leaf is going dang it it's

such a pretty one too this is a JV hybrid of Dressler and regulosum and it took to the repot quite well it's pretty easy going like rooting growing kind of

plant the The Roots I find are never really that fuzzy and they're quite thin do you see you don't have any of those thick udon Roots but it's a pretty easy

going plant this is the newest Leaf so this is the first Leaf post chop you know it's small as expected but I'm fairly confident it's gonna come back to

like this size at the next Leaf but we shall see back here is uh forgety eye that's my mama plant of the first ever um pollination thing so it's the mom of

this guy so you can see kind of how minimal the silver is when I first got this plant there was none of this it was like just super dark in a green venation and then over time some of the little

bits of silver started popping out so that's why I don't call it a true dark form this here is my alocasia watsoniana I freaking love this alopecia it's probably like it's definitely my top

three favorite allocations of all time and I also get the question of like what kind of alocation watsoniana this is so here's what I know alocasia

watsoniana is a cultivar of um allocation along globa I think and it is velvety it is supposed to be velvety and one thing that helps differentiate this

was like regular along a little bit is that the watsoniana has like this little forking thing happening so the lateral vein comes out and then it kind of forks as it gets the leaf margin you'll see it

on this one too so regular longaluba will just have more slightly more vertical lateral veins and they do not Fork at the edges and it's not velvety so that's how you can tell it's a Watson

there's a lot of like Watsons that are being sold sometimes in the garden center that are not like they don't look like this so that's about all I know I don't I

don't know a lot okay I got you on the tripod now because down here I show you these plants all the time so I'm just gonna like pull them out one by one We're Not Gonna Linger on them too much

because I feel like I talk about these plants the most on my channel this is my anthurium spider Ralph man AKA spider best crossed with Ralph line and Port Sherman

so this is a grand cross and I got this from Amanda it's not looking the best it took to the repot like okay it doesn't have a ton of roots it's probably like

the saddest one from that repot but it's I think it's on its way back um it's just pushed out of leaf you can see this is such a beautiful beautiful

cross it's so velvety and like the leaf like color shift on it it's to die for if you can get your hands on this cross I highly recommend it it's so nice this

here is my an ethereum magnificum CrossFit dark form Ace of Spades and this is like my preferred one I have two of this cross from that seed batch this one I think looks nicer it looks more

like an ace and when it was little like I could barely tell it apart from my actual Ace of space they were like very small they were like very similar in size but this one is it's a lot nicer

than my other one it's a lot darker it's not okay it's not nicer as in like it's better quality it's just I prefer this one because it's a little bit narrower and I think it's a

little bit darker here's another leaf and the newest leaf is so red so pretty I recently sold a bottom cut of this plant the roots are

they're a lot they're a lot but that's why I kind of like um a cover pot like this so I can sit those like Escape roots and a little bit of water and they don't dry out and shrivel this plant definitely

looks a little bit sad after getting chopped but it's perked up quite a bit this one is my biggest for Yeti eye from my first pollination so that's what it looks like it's very cute it's so

turtley and this one is really round so this one was definitely like the strongest of the whole batch which I kept back for myself but look at that it's so cute but I do really enjoy like how bumpy this this Leaf texture is for

Getty eyes in general it's just like really great for learning how to pollinate antheriums because they flower so young and they flower so often like I can have two flowers going at the same

time for this plant and it's not even very mature and also the seeds don't take that long they take I think something like three or four months versus like a clear nervium will take you like an entire year so I do think

it's a good one to to kind of get your feet wet pollinating this one I showed in last week's video this is my green form Ace of Spades um how are the roots doing

okay so I can see like at the top it's pushing out a root from the stem and then here there's some active root growth but

otherwise looks exactly the same from last week this one this one is a mushroom farm it's been growing so many mushrooms in the substrate this is my my

crystal Carla from Amanda it's so beautiful I do have issues with like kind of this chlorotic kind of veining lightning veins is what Amanda calls it

I'm hoping maybe with silica calm egg that kind of thing it can go away because the roots are quite

healthy you can see I don't see any rot because that's what she thought last time might have been the reason even just like a little bit of rot is dropping a leaf at the back but it

continues to size up I I credit that to the mag crystal in the in the cross but yeah it's so pretty I got it as like about this big of a Seedling so I'm pretty proud of that size jump even

though it's taken like a year don't tell anybody another mag Lux from Lauren this is uh this was my favorite one because it was super round and then it put a shot this Leaf it's not round at all but

every other Leaf was like super round and chubby so I'm like what the heck happened to you it's about the same size as the other one and these ones like kind of size up really nicely I think it's because of the magnificum as well

but yeah this one also is really enjoying the pond another Amanda plant this is my re5 self from one of her seabatches the newest leaf look how red that is this is the reddest one it's

ever thrown it's like candy apple red I chopped this up after I came back from my holiday sometime in August I think and I sold two cuttings

this one I was afraid I was gonna you know droop and like you know suffer and stuff it took a really long time for it to push out a leaf so it finally pushed out a leaf and The Roots like they're

decent there's some root growth oh there's way more up front here it hasn't been fussy for me other than like the leaf surface being quite delicate and

easy to like bang up but this new Leaf I was able to keep it quite pristine look how pretty it's so bumpy and pristine I just love the overlapping loaves as well

here comes the problem child this is my red Crystal item that refuses to grow a fully formed leaf for me every

leaf is like this right now one lobe no bottom I don't know why it's crisping

I don't think I ever let it dry out but I did give it silica and I wonder if it like burned it a little bit but I gave it silica in the hopes that it would form a really nice like fully

formed Leaf so it did push out the leaf it's looking pretty chunky that looks like a pretty big one so if it does give me like a fully formed leave I will definitely keep you guys updated because

I know a lot of people are interested in using silica aren't sure like kind of how to use it or like if it really works and stuff like that so I will definitely keep you guys posted

this one is my Pap five crosses swamp bunny also from Amanda it's grown quite a few leaves for me but they just don't want to face the same

way the way that my ra5 does she finds this plant a little bit more difficult than the re5 and I do agree I've had Raw on this like I can't even tell you how many times this one has raw again you

see there's like healthy roots and Rotty roots I moved it from tree fern to different tree for now to pawn and I get the same thing I had a no drainage now with

drainage but yeah it pushed out this Leaf I might chop this soon actually I know there's some interest in this cross but I just I don't know I always can't bring myself to cut it because it's been

a little bit like um broady in The Roots but it grows so I don't know I don't I'm on the fence as to whether or not this is like an easy

plant or not but I do love it a lot those really really tall lobes and it's like a lot more narrow than my five self oh my gosh I gotta speed this up now I

am I am so late for our appointment really really quick let's haul ass this one is my mag kuna magnificon crosses

canaya lens also from Amanda this one needs need some TLC it hasn't grown a leaf in a while um it's a no drainage and tree fern

I think I might move it to pond because her magkuna is in pond we'll see hers is in a self-watering pot I haven't decided what I want to do with this hence why I haven't repotted it yet

I'll just pop a quick photo here of what her mother plant looks like it's so good this one is if you follow Norwich or Tropicals badge is the mag Crystal

Crystal mag for Getty eye Crystal Meg for Getty eye which is like really silver like Crystal hope level silver across the luxurians and um this one should be bigger than it is but I should

probably need to upsize this little tiny dinky cup which I will do soon um but New Leaf is so cute look at that another Luxe hybrid this one is from

Amanda this one is Lux as a mother plant crossed with Ralph Lineum Fort Sherman and it's really elongated and pretty look at that it's so so so cute we got

this as seeds sometime beginning of the year yeah I think this was like january-ish this came in as a scene and it's already looking so cute I'm so

excited to see this big nice elongated Luxe cross that would look so good in that batch we also got these seeds from Amanda this is um Anthem up to some narrow form there's two plants in here

so it's a very strappy antherium excited to see what this looks like it takes such a long time for strappy antheriums to um size up in my opinion but I'm

going to need to help it along by adding a little bit more substrate along the stem Amanda gave me a fillet engine luminum because she knows how much of a this plant

is and it's it's been a the whole time for me it's still alive but just barely all my alocasia has Lany I I let it get completely dried out and then I

filled it to some top with water and here we are I think it'll come back I just probably need to fix some stuff but

yeah anthurium Queen of Hearts it has pushed out the biggest weave I am so excited for this belief prior to that is this one just to give you a bit of a

comparison I know the light is blowing it out right now but it sized up so much when it was ordered it was he didn't have any of these leaves so it's these three leaves down here Lauren

acclimated it for me in this like soily airoid mix with tree from fiber and this was pushed out in a pair and then this was the first leaf that I grew

oh my gosh this one is I I love it so much look how red it is this plant is so underrated in my opinion it is so pretty just look at that texture look how bumpy

it is I cannot wait for it to get like big big because I think this is one of the anthuriums that I suspect sizes up pretty readily so I'm really looking forward to it although I'll have to move

it out of my tent probably if it gets much bigger than this but yeah this one has been like really exciting for me lately I'm gonna blast through these ones because you would have seen it quite recently in my cartel Dawn video

so this little corner is a lot of my Cardinals on Plants this is the King of Spades where hu cross with red crystalline them the newest Leaf formed

okay despite the leaf tip shriveling off but we've got Roots we got moots and roots and roots and it's doing it's doing really great I am very excited

because these plants like just did not skip a beat like people talk about the health of cartel Dawn plants all the time sorry card hold down plants all the time and they're they're not lying

because look at these roots some plants had a leaf emerging at the time and those like didn't make it they aborted those leaves but the plant was

putting energy into growing Roots which it has so I have full confidence that the neck sleeve is going to be like a size up from the previous one so I'm really excited this one is Bigfoot

crossed with blue purple aluminum this one is super exciting this one is dark Phoenix crosses Ralph lynum Fort Sherman look at that new Leaf can we just talk

about how dark Phoenix it is it is so stinking pretty the colors on it and it is a little bit darker than the previous leaves like less green so I'm very excited to see if this one will darken

up a little bit over time this one is also loving Pawn this one is probably like rooted the most out of everything so I'm glad that I put it in pond because I was like I thought it was a dark Phoenix I put it in pond because

dark Phoenix loves fun blah blah blah and turns out this cross also loves Pawn this one is anthurian blue pop crosses Fort Sherman which I thought was a port

hybrid but it's not also got some little bitty roots coming out here as well it had aborted the leaf if

you can see this little this little shrivel guy but it's now pushing the next Leaf so like I said like once the roots start getting going it's gonna come back looking really good and it's

pretty common for like an important antherium to like abort that new Leaf or like if you not only just import it or you chop an ethereum that has an emerging leaf that leaf is not going to

form well lack of roots stress stuff like that so I try not to cut um anthuriums if they're a obviously if they're working on berries they're

working on a leaf if the leaf is like expanded like pretty like 75 of the way I'm pretty okay with chopping it at that point last cartel plant this one's one

of my favorites from the whole thing antheria minahasa or King crystalina so that's kind of like a select complex crystallineum hybrid I assume it has also done pretty well in

pond you can see some active root growth here some up here as well this new Leaf had just emerged when um when I came in and I am so in love

with how it hardened off it was like this beautiful red color for a really long time and now it's just kind of like this brownie green it is stunning and I just love the

texture on this it just has such a satisfying like leathery velvet texture it's not thin leafed I find the um antherium crystallineum silver special

from Tropicals is like quite a soft Leaf like it's very pliable but this is like nice and it's just substantial you know I mean it's such a pretty pretty Crystal

item just love those colors look at the veins it's like all pink through here I'm telling you if you guys have the opportunity to add this to your order like if you're ordering from a cartel I

it's a really really nice one a couple more lefties are not cartel plants this one is my antherium anthemum syrup early marks flame um this was the bottom cutting off one

that we imported earlier this year so I took the bottom Charmaine took the top um these are the import leaves and I've been able to grow two leaves which I am very excited about it's not fenestrating

yet but at least it's growing I was really scared that this is going to be like a really tough plant to grow because people say it's like really slow rots a lot and stuff I think there's like a wide variety of opinions on this

plant so I was bracing myself for the worst but it has been quite easy so far um it rooted really well in this tree for and look at that chunky chunky meaty

monsters I love Monster roots for that reason it's actually rooted into the pole from the bottom up because you can see the stem is not even on the pole but I

can see roots in here so I do need to rotate it so that's actually growing on the pole but I'm gonna have to like break some roots in the process but it'll be fine I'm sure

last one here is a hybrid I did with Jing or kind of Jing did with Poland from me so this one we call tofuge eye so the mama plant is tofu which is like

a no ID Indo hybrid we call it tofu because she acclimated it in a tofu container it's like mag forgety eye Pap something like that some some mishmash

of that the Poland donor was my dark form for Getty eye so like fully dark green venation no silver kind of thing and the new Leaf is so cute it's really

veiny and then it has like pink sinus on almost all the leaves you can see a little bit of pink there it looks more pink in person I took a photo of it recently and it looks a lot more pink than it's showing up on the viewfinder I

find but it's actually quite a cute cross I really like it and I don't think it was a very big yield so I think I got three or four from Jing and I think she only has a few of herself and then

Charmaine got one I think and that's it and I know there's like some people that want this cross but unfortunately I don't really have many to share so maybe we'll do it again one day because for my forget eye flowers every other Leaf I

think her tofu poly flowers a lot but yeah that is the last plant all right guys that is it I hope you enjoyed this grow tent tour and kind of like set up

thing me and my pimple gotta go now I hope you guys have a great rest of your day I love you so much I will see you in

the next one mwah

[Music] thank you
