Hermes agent just might be the most powerful AI agent out there right now.

It's your own personal AI employee. And

if you don't have one right now, you're missing out on so many productivity gains. In this video, I'll cover what

gains. In this video, I'll cover what Hermes agent is, the difference between it and OpenClaw, how to set it up, a few use cases that will change your life, and if you should replace your OpenClaw

with it. By the end of this video,

with it. By the end of this video, you'll have your own full-time AI employee working for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, powered by Hermes Agent

and Chad GBT 5.5. If you're looking to get into AI agents, this is the video you've been waiting for. Now, let's lock in and get into it. This is Hermes Agent. In a second, I'm going to show

Agent. In a second, I'm going to show you how to set it up and give it a whole bunch of use cases and prompts that are going to be really, really awesome. For

the record, this is like the most visually aesthetic AI agent out of all of them. The people at New Research

of them. The people at New Research really have good taste. But before we do this, let's just quickly go into what Hermes Agent is and what makes it different than OpenClaw, some of its advantages. For those who are not

advantages. For those who are not familiar with Hermes Agent or OpenClaw, it's a 247 AI agent employee that works on your computer, does anything a human being can do. Want to build apps, want

to send emails, want to check your calendar, want to send you files from one device to another. He's basically

alive on your computer doing anything you want at any given time. The biggest

advantage to Hermes Agent, there's a bunch here, but it is fully focused on self-improving everything you do in Hermes Agent, it self-improves. It

builds and edits new skills as you go, which is really, really cool. So, the

more you use it, the better it gets. But

there's also a lot of other advantages as well. It's super lightweight. It's

as well. It's super lightweight. It's

super performant. I've been using Hermes for months now. It hasn't slowed down at all. It hasn't felt like it got heavier.

all. It hasn't felt like it got heavier.

I love OpenClaw, but it really has two things that piss me off. Number one is it gets less performant as you go. The

more things you do with it, the heavier its memory gets, the heavier its context gets, it just slows down. It just feels like a very heavy AI agent. The other

disadvantage to OpenClaw at the moment is every time I update that thing, it breaks. I do not do updates on OpenClaw

breaks. I do not do updates on OpenClaw anymore because every time I update it, it just stops working. That is really pissed me off to be quite honest with you. But with Hermes Agent, it feels

you. But with Hermes Agent, it feels like they're a lot more selective and test a lot more the updates they put into it. It's never broken for me. It

into it. It's never broken for me. It

just works. So, a lot more reliable updates. There's a few other advantages.

updates. There's a few other advantages.

Well, they have a new portal. Basically,

what that is is it's own AI plan. So, if

you don't use Chad, GBT, or Claude, you can use their own very cheap $20 a month plan. It's built to be multi- aent. I

plan. It's built to be multi- aent. I

have like five Hermes agents going right now. It's fantastic. Really, really easy

now. It's fantastic. Really, really easy just to spin up new agents. And their

social media team, I dare you to go on Twitter right now, tweet out Hermes agent. You'll have five of their account

agent. You'll have five of their account members going in replying to all your tweets. So, really active social media

tweets. So, really active social media team. And they appear just to be very

team. And they appear just to be very nice, very nice, happy people, which I like a lot too and I appreciate. So,

that's the high level. But as you know, this account's all about that action. We

don't just sit here and look at charts all day. We get into actually using the

all day. We get into actually using the tool. So, here we go. Hermes agent.

tool. So, here we go. Hermes agent.

Let's talk about setting it up. And

let's also talk about the model you're using. As you can see here, a little

using. As you can see here, a little spoiler alert. We're using GPT 5.5. So,

spoiler alert. We're using GPT 5.5. So,

let's talk about setting this up first.

I'll put the link down below for Hermes Agent. Again, a beautiful site. This

Agent. Again, a beautiful site. This

color is my favorite color. This kind of forest green. Here's a little hint. You

forest green. Here's a little hint. You

wear any clothes with forest green in it, you're going to look better. There's

no one on planet Earth that puts on forest green and doesn't immediately look 10 times better. So, I love the color. Here's all you got to do. Super

color. Here's all you got to do. Super

simple. Copy. Click copy right there.

Boom. Copy. You pop open your terminal.

You paste in that command. You hit

enter. You have it installed. Once you

do that, you're going to want to select your model. This is the model that's

your model. This is the model that's going to be the brain for your agent.

That's going to determine which task to do, which tools you should be using. I

recommend Chat GPT 5.5. Yes, I am recommending it over Claude Opus. Many

different reasons. One is for agent work. It is just as good as Claude Opus.

work. It is just as good as Claude Opus.

I don't think it's particularly better than Claude Opus for specifically for AI agents, but I don't think it's worse either. Personalitywise, it's just about

either. Personalitywise, it's just about the same as well. But here's the big advantage is their limits are extremely high. You can get away with the $20 a

high. You can get away with the $20 a month plan to run Hermes. If you use Claude Opus, you need the $200 a month plan. Chad GBT $20 OOTH works just fine

plan. Chad GBT $20 OOTH works just fine for this. OpenAI very proconsumer. They

for this. OpenAI very proconsumer. They

encourage you to use your OOTH. They

encourage you to use your existing subscription. So that's great as well.

subscription. So that's great as well.

And they don't make their model stupider. That's very nice and I like

stupider. That's very nice and I like that as well. So Chad GBT 5.5 is my official recommendation for Hermes.

Select that as your model. Use your OOTH login for that and you are good to go. I

think the best messaging service for these AI agents, whether it's Hermes or OpenClaw, is Telegram. So, if you have a Telegram, set that up as well. That's

super easy. All it's going to have you do is go to the bot, which you can see right there, and do slashnewbot. That

will give you a token. You take that token, you paste it into Hermes, and you're good to go. You have Telegram all set up. I like using Telegram because

set up. I like using Telegram because you can get it on any of your devices.

You can get on your iPhone, your iPad, any of your computers. This is going to be the best way to communicate with your agent. It just has so many features

agent. It just has so many features built specifically for AI agents. So,

set it up with Telegram as well. Super

simple. So, there it is. You have it set up. Now, you can start using your agent.

up. Now, you can start using your agent.

In a second, I'm going to go through how to personalize this to find the best use cases for yourself. Obviously, I'm the number one AI channel on YouTube. I have

tens of thousands, hundred thousand people watching this. I don't know each and every one of you. I don't know each and every use case that's good for you.

So, I'm going to show you what use cases are good for me. And then I'll show you how to do some self-discovery so you can figure out what use cases in Hermes Agent are best for you. But the one

thing you want to know here is every time you use Hermes Agent, it builds a new skill for what you're doing. So, you

have it go and build an app, create a video for you, whatever it is, it will constantly based on how you instruct it to do things, build and update its own skill. So, it is constantly

skill. So, it is constantly self-improving. So, the more you use it,

self-improving. So, the more you use it, the better it gets. So, let's do this.

I'm going to show you a few of my favorite use cases. Then, we'll go into figuring out your own best use cases. My

number one use case, if you're anything like me, is I'm constantly thinking of things to build. I'm like, I have a total builder mindset. I'm at the gym, I

think of an app to build. I'm at the Whole Foods, I think of an app to build.

I love using Hermes agents to build the initial prototypes for apps because I can be at the grocery store. I can go on Telegram on my phone and I can say, "Hey, build this out for me." And I come

back to my computer and the app's up and running. So, let's do this. Say I wanted

running. So, let's do this. Say I wanted to build out a 3D simulation for me.

Maybe a 3D rocket ship launch, right?

I'm at the gym. I go, "Oh, I'd love to come back and see like a 3D rocket simulator." So, I go and I say, "Please

simulator." So, I go and I say, "Please build me a 3D rocket ship simulator using 3JS."

using 3JS." If you're a nerd like me, you like building video game simulations, whatever it is, 3JS is the best library for this. It's going to build its own

for this. It's going to build its own 3JS skill based on this. It should show a rocket ship taking off and show its

speed and altitude. then pop it open in a browser and run. It should be super detailed. I'm going to hit enter on

detailed. I'm going to hit enter on that. It's going to get to work. It's

that. It's going to get to work. It's

going to build that out for me. So,

number one use case I'm showing you here, building out prototypes on the go so that when you come back to your computer, you can keep building it out.

And here's a quick one. Here's a quick tip for you. If any point you give it a task and you think of something halfway through, it's like, "Oh man, I wish I would have said this." You can also do

slash steer and it injects a message in there and we can say make the rocket blue and I'm going to hit enter on that and it's just going to give it a steer.

It's just going to put a message in there as it's working that steers it in a certain direction. So if you ever give it a task and you think while it's working, damn, I wish I would have told

this that just do slash steer and you can steer your agent as it goes. By the

way, as this builds, if you learn anything so far, leave a like down below, subscribe and turn on notifications. All I do is make amazing

notifications. All I do is make amazing videos about AI. I'm thinking about making a video of powering Hermes agents by local models. If you're interested in that, let me know in the comments, too.

And if you want a full live boot camp where you can ask me questions about Hermes Agent, make sure to join the Vibe Coding Academy. Link down below. It's

Coding Academy. Link down below. It's

the number one AI community on planet Earth. Go in, ask me questions, hang

Earth. Go in, ask me questions, hang out, join a community, 1500 people, totally up to you. Link down below. All

right. So, it popped open a browser on my computer. Let me drag this in so you

my computer. Let me drag this in so you can see this. Look at this. How sick is that? So, it's blue like I asked. Oh,

that? So, it's blue like I asked. Oh,

wow. Look. So, you can see the altitude, the speed, the mission time, the acceleration, how much fuel I have left.

I wonder what will happen. It will

explode when the fuel's out. Drag to

orbit camera mouse wheel. Oh, look at this. So, it built out the full 3D

this. So, it built out the full 3D simulation for me. And so the point here is is like obviously this is really cool, but the point is is that you can be on the go wherever you are, come up

with an idea for an app and then you just go on your phone on Telegram and you message your Hermes agent and you build it out. And here's another really cool thing you can do. So let's go in

here and let's just say send me a screenshot of the rocket simulator running. So say you're on the go. You

running. So say you're on the go. You

have it building out an app for you. Now

you go and say, "Hey, just send me a screenshot of the work you did." Since

it has full control over your computer, it can go pop open its own browser, run the simulator, and send you videos, send you screenshots, and confirm everything you're building is working. I love to do

this when I'm in like full self-driving mode in my Tesla. And I'm just vibe coding on the go. I'm having it go.

Build things out. Send me screenshots.

Send me videos. And I'm constantly able to be productive. And there you go. Look

at that. send me a screenshot of it running. That's really amazing. So,

running. That's really amazing. So,

anywhere you are in the world, you don't have to download the Chad GPT app or the Claude app. You just have your Hermes

Claude app. You just have your Hermes Asian go build things out and send you screenshots and videos. Now, here's

another one I love to do. I'm a big investor. I like investing in AI stocks

investor. I like investing in AI stocks cuz I am a true believer. The AI

buildout hasn't even begun yet. So,

let's set it up. One big thing Hermes does really well is cron jobs. So, it's

able to schedule its own tasks over and over and over again. I have it doing many, many cron jobs at once. I actually

have it looking over my OpenClaw agent to make sure it's running well and doesn't crash. So, that's one thing you

doesn't crash. So, that's one thing you can do here if you're doing a multi- aent approach is say, "Hey, every two hours check on OpenClaw to make sure it's running still and not broken."

Another thing you can do, research. So,

let's do this. Every 24 hours at 9:00 a.m. do stock research for me. Find AI

a.m. do stock research for me. Find AI

stocks I can invest in that have massive moes. I'm a hit answer on that. And it

moes. I'm a hit answer on that. And it

is going to schedule itself for every 24 hours to do stock research for me. I

think it has never been more important to be investing at the moment. I think

tons of money is going to be going into AI companies. I think there's a lot of

AI companies. I think there's a lot of money printing going on. You probably

want your money and assets. You need to be investing. Not financial advice, but

be investing. Not financial advice, but uh honestly financial advice. And so it is scheduled every day 9:00 a.m. Next

run it is going to be building me a stock report out. Super simple to do.

There it is. Now it's scheduled. It's

going to deliver me that stock report every morning. I highly recommend you do

every morning. I highly recommend you do the same thing. Now let's show off some of the self-improvement. So everything

I've had it do so far, it's been building and updating new skills for itself. But let's do a command here that

itself. But let's do a command here that will actually have it do something it doesn't know how to do so it can figure it out and build its own skills. Watch

this. So if you're not familiar with Remotion, Remotion is a really cool plugin for AI agents that allow AI agents to build out full motion videos.

I want to start making more shorts on YouTube shorts. So I want to start

YouTube shorts. So I want to start building out short motion videos that I can use as YouTube shorts. Let's do

this. Build me a 60se secondond YouTube short clip on why you should be using Hermes agent. Do this with Remotion.

Hermes agent. Do this with Remotion.

Figure out how to use I'm going to hit enter on that. And so there is no built-in Remotion skill. It is going to have to do research, figure it out on its own, build its own skill set,

self-improve, and at the end of this, if everything works out here, we should have a oneshot 60-second YouTube short using Remotion that's going to be beautiful and have all these graphics

and look really cool. Just as a side note here, as this is going, we are 7 and 1/2 minutes into this. It hasn't

stopped once. It hasn't asked me for one thing. It is just going and going and

thing. It is just going and going and going and boom, as I was talking to you, it finished. So went for over 7 minutes.

it finished. So went for over 7 minutes.

It got tripped up multiple times that every time it got tripped up, it just figured out how to do it every step of the way, which is really amazing. And

then as you can see, I just said also this was enough of workflow that I will I will save a reusable reotion short skill for future clips. And so it is going and it is saving that skill. Look

at that skill. Remotion YouTube short created. I didn't even have to ask for

created. I didn't even have to ask for it. New skill created. It is

it. New skill created. It is

self-improving as we go. Let's open up this video. Let's see how this goes.

this video. Let's see how this goes.

Look at this. It even made the thumbnail. I didn't even ask for a

thumbnail. I didn't even ask for a thumbnail. It just made a thumbnail.

thumbnail. It just made a thumbnail.

Let's check that out real quick. Oo,

that's nice. Good looking thumbnail there. Action is better than answers. I

there. Action is better than answers. I

like that. Let's pop open the video.

Let's see what we got. This is one shot, one sentence, one prompt. Here we go.

Let's hit enter. Let's see what we got here.

Your AI should do the work, not just describe it. Hermes agent turns chat

describe it. Hermes agent turns chat into action. It can use real tools

into action. It can use real tools automation, terminal commands, file editing, text generation, web research, and messaging from one agent. It can

drive the browser, pages, inspect UI.

Look at these graphics that add in. And

as a side note, I'll pause here. I don't

know if the audio is coming through or not. There's like an AI voice talking.

not. There's like an AI voice talking.

I'm just going to rip that out. I'm

going to put my own voice in it. But I

put in one sentence. I now have a piece of content for YouTube for a YouTube short.

Catch console errors and visually verify the result.

Look at the transition. Install

packages. Run tests. Build apps. Start

servers, inspect logs, and fix what breaks.

That is amazing. I now I'm building like my automated content pipeline. That is

really, really sick. Now, let's talk about those are three use cases I love.

Let's talk about how you can find your own use cases. I talk about this on a ton of my videos. If you've listened to my videos before, you've heard this reverse prompting. Reverse prompting. If

reverse prompting. Reverse prompting. If

I'm you, I'm going in. First thing I do when I set up Hermes, and I'm saying, "Here's everything you need to know about me. my career, my interest, my

about me. my career, my interest, my job, everything you need to know. What

are three use cases we can implement right now that will save me time? That

will allow Hermes to understand who you are and come up with use cases that will be helpful for you. I promise you if you do that right now, that exercise, your life will get much, much easier. The

other thing you can do is I do this all the time. Get a piece of paper, write

the time. Get a piece of paper, write down on that piece of paper throughout your day, every manual task you do.

every manual task, you write it down here. Then go into your Hermes agent,

here. Then go into your Hermes agent, list out every task you did that you wrote down on your piece of paper and say, "Which of these can you automate for me?" And Hermes will come and give

for me?" And Hermes will come and give you a whole bunch of use cases it can automate for you. Now, a question I get all the time is this. Should I rip out OpenClaw? Should I use Hermes instead?

OpenClaw? Should I use Hermes instead?

The answer is truly the future is multi- aent. You want to be multi- aent. Each

aent. You want to be multi- aent. Each

team, Hermes and OpenClaw, has a completely separate road map. There is

no point in being tribalistic about this and going one or the other. I've had

amazing experiences with both. Both have

their own distinct advantages. Install

both. Hook them both into your Chat GBT subscription. Chat GBT 5.5 is great.

subscription. Chat GBT 5.5 is great.

You'll get ton of usage even on both.

They'll be able to communicate with each other. There's something called ACP

other. There's something called ACP which allows them to talk to each other.

So you can go to your OpenClaw, say, "Hey, tell Hermes to do this." You can go to Hermes and it'll say, "Hey, tell OpenClaw to do that." it'll work perfectly fine. Set up your own multi-

perfectly fine. Set up your own multi- aent workflow and find which agent works best for you. I use them both. They're

both amazing. If you follow every step I went through in this video, you will have your own AI employee set up your own Hermes agent, which will constantly be doing self-improvement, building its own skills, and getting better and

better and better. If you learned anything at all, make sure to leave a like down below, subscribe, turn notifications. You want more Hermes

notifications. You want more Hermes content, you want a live boot camp, Vibe Coding Academy linked down below. And

let me know in the comments, what tools are you using right now? What do you want more videos on? Hermes, Codex,

Claude Code, Opus 47, Chad GBT 5.5. Let

me know in the comments below. All my

videos are based on your feedback. I

hope this was helpful. See you in the next video.
