Hollyland Lark A1 vs DJI Mic Mini

Hey there, happy new year. So, last year I did a very quick review of the Holy

Land Lock A1 and the DJI Mic Mini and I've tested it using uh my iPhone 16 Pro

and I put on the microphones in an outdoor environment and I was testing it with this guy having its noise cancellation turned on and

comparing it to the DJI MC Mini with noise cancellation turned off on this.

So, it's not a very good comparison. So,

this is a remake of that video. I'm

focusing on the more popular Holand L A1 and the DJI Mic Mini. And I'm going to do a test indoors and also outdoors with

me with my iPhone 16. And I'm going to record the video with and without noise cancellation, with and without noise

cancellation, indoors and also outdoors, and you be the judge to see which is the one that you prefer. Now,

long story short, to conclusion on my end is that based on portability and ease of use, I go for this because it is so small compared to

this. But if you don't mind a slightly

definitely a better sounding mic. Uh and

All right, this is an indoor environment. I'm using the Holyland L1

environment. I'm using the Holyland L1 with no noise cancellation.

And this is the Holy Land lock A1 with noise cancellation set to low. Noise

This is the Holyland L1 with noise cancellation enabled and set to medium.

This is the Holyland Lock A1 with noise cancellation enabled and set to high.

This is the DJI MC Mini with noise cancellation set to basic. Now, the DJI MC Mini does not have an onoff switch for the noise cancellation. It has a

basic noise cancellation and a strong noise cancellation. This is set to basic

Now, this is the DJI MC Mini with the noise cancellation set to strong. Noise

As you can see, it's indicated by the yellow uh light there. Noise
