This is my real no profile. In the last 90 days, for more than 25,000 times, my profile appeared in recruiters search appearance.

Getting a job always starts with one thing and that is interview calls. And

when your nori profile is updated properly, it will help you to get calls from your dream companies. [music]

In this video, I will show you in detail how I updated my no profile to get this results and will also share some hidden tips.

In this video, I'm going to share with you exactly what kind of changes I made in my no profile because of which I got opportunities to get interviewed for multiple service base and product. Now

let's check it out how I updated my Noki profile. Let's go. So as soon as you log

profile. Let's go. So as soon as you log into your nogree portal you can see this kind of dashboard. So let's start with the profile stuff. Now uh you can see

that it's showing 100% right. What

exactly this means? This means that you have updated your no profile properly and you have completed all the steps which which you needed to do so that now your profile is ready. So this gives

kind of confidence to the recruiters that okay he has completed uh all these steps has completed his profile 100%.

Right? Okay. Now once I click on view profile [snorts] so this is the first step you know the first headline which HRs generally see whenever they open

your profile and you can see that I have written uh everything in short. I have

written like whether I'm certified. So I

have added that stuff AWS certified.

Then I have added my total experience and then in short I have added my skills. So make sure your headline is

skills. So make sure your headline is short. You have added all your skills

short. You have added all your skills and experience in that. So HR will get some overview highle overview of your profile. The next step is uh you should

profile. The next step is uh you should make sure you enable this actively searching job option. Right? So don't

forget about this.

One more thing you can see that I'm getting here the uh option of whether I want to buy the pro subscription of no pre. Personally I have not used it yet

pre. Personally I have not used it yet but there are some friends you know uh who who told me that it is helpful but you can give it a try if you want but

personally I have never used it. I think

uh as a experienced uh it won't be required but uh I personally think if you are a fresher then you can definitely try that. Okay. And the next

part is my career preferences. So you

can see I have added my preferred locations, preferred role, preferred salary. Okay. In the preferred location

salary. Okay. In the preferred location sections I have added multiple uh job location like Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad. See our main objective is to

give that interview it will help you to prepare yourself okay once you get offer then you can decide whether you want to join it or not right so it's better you

add multiple job locations as well because based on that your uh no profile will be getting filtered because HR will

be adding the job locations as well to search the exact uh profile there.

Right? And then the preferred salary guys uh there would be lot of doubts related to the preferred salary whether we should add exact number or we should

keep it as a zero. Okay. So I have tried both things. I used to add preferred

both things. I used to add preferred salary as well in uh recently I have kept it as a zero. The difference I observed was if in case I pre uh if I

add preferred salary as a number let's say 10 LPA. So what used to happen like HRs will go HRs will search my profile but if that number is above their budget

you know they will not call me. So if I keep it zero HR will at least go through my no portal. If they like my skills, experience my background then they will

at least give me a call. Let's move

ahead. basic details uh your experience your address and this again the add salary section guys here you have to add

your current salary right so even uh here I have decided not to add my current salary because even if HRs are going to see my current salary they can

simply do the calculation and they can think about okay even if I give 30% hike on his current salary still it will be going over budget right so I decided to

keep it as a zero or empty. Even if you keep it empty, your profile will be like 100% completed only. So this will not have any impact uh on your overall uh

percentage I would say. Then your notice period. So lot of time uh we have a

period. So lot of time uh we have a confusion like shall we keep it 1 month, 2 month, 15 months as a notice period.

Right? In my career uh during the initial two switches, my notice period was 90 days. Okay? So what you can do you have two options. You can either keep notice period as a 15 days so that

you will get lot of calls right but my personal suggestion would be to make sure once you get a call from HR if you are keeping your notice per as a 15 days make sure you inform your HR what kind

of situation right now you have in your company like you are going to try from your side. Okay. So this kind of stuff

your side. Okay. So this kind of stuff you can tell [snorts] and at least give the interview. So that will help you to

the interview. So that will help you to prepare for the interviews that will help you to understand what kind of questions or the skills are required right now in market. Okay. So right then

make sure your resume is uh uploaded properly and one suggestion here just make sure whenever you upload your resume your your naming convention should be in proper format. No HR should

be able to find out your resume once it's downloaded in their uh computer. I

must say like you can give a name and then the experience what kind of experience you have and the domain for which you are currently applying for

right and then the next section is the profile summary guys this is the part based on which your recruiter will decide whether to pick this resume or

not. This highlights the highle overview

not. This highlights the highle overview about what kind of work you have done in your current organization. So make sure you add it uh you know properly. Next is

professional detail. Make [snorts] sure you select this current industry as a software product because there are lot of options you will be getting in current department and current industry

sections like sometimes you will get uh internet option is there. Sometimes you

will have e-commerce. Sometimes you will have engineering. So whenever you are

have engineering. So whenever you are looking for a job in IT domain make sure you select software product then engineering software and QA and your role and category uh in whichever domain

you want to work. The next section is key skills you have to update properly because on the basis of key skills HR is going to you know filter out your

resume. Let's say for example there is

resume. Let's say for example there is opening for DevOps engineer and they want someone with uh cloud platform knowledge of AWS. So HR will simply type

in their portal as AWS. So if you have not written key skill as AWS then though you have lot of knowledge and experience your profile will be not getting

highlighted and there will be no chance for you for further process. Right? So

make sure you add all the key skills.

Then comes the employment section guys.

This is also very important. This tells

the recruiter like what kind of work you are doing right now in your current company. So it's not only about writing

company. So it's not only about writing the skills and simple sentences in in this section, right? You have to make sure you write proper sentences which highlights what kind of impact you have

made in your current project. For

example, I was able to do some automation where I was able to save 40% of cost. So numbers plus impact that

of cost. So numbers plus impact that that's going to play a very important role right. So it becomes easy for HRs

role right. So it becomes easy for HRs and further [snorts] further on moving ahead becomes easy to filter out your resume. Okay. So it's better you add

resume. Okay. So it's better you add some numbers as well along with the powerful actions like I did some automation cost optimization security

related stuff uh build automation uh for doing the log analysis and I was able to save 50% of time right so such kind of stuff you can add okay and along with

this make sure you add all the details like from when you have joined uh from which day you have started year whether you are a full-time employee or

All these details you can add.

Okay. [snorts] Then next uh we come to the project section. In the projects also you have to make sure you add all the projects on which you have worked.

Okay. There is one more thing. Whenever

you add this projects whenever you edit let's say if I edit my first project it is going to ask me to add all the details like what is the client name from when you started working for this

project. No. uh as we all know we should

project. No. uh as we all know we should never disclose the client name when we are working for one particular organization right so it's better instead of adding the client name you

can simply write the country name right if your client is from uh let's say US so you can just add us as a client name and then add other other details like I

started I started from this day till this day right so make sure you add all these details here properly okay because if you are a senior or experienced

Adding multiple projects here says that okay you have the experience of handling multiple projects you can work as a team lead as well. So that will give you some

additional advantage. Okay. Next is the

used section is there. Okay. So if I click on this, you will see what is the software version I have used. What kind

of experience I have of using this specific monitoring tool. So you can update it here properly. Make sure uh you update version as well wherever possible. It's not mandatory. Uh I have

possible. It's not mandatory. Uh I have also not added it here. You can add it if you want. Then the next section is about the education. I made sure that I

am adding all my education related stuff. not only my graduation details

stuff. not only my graduation details but uh 10th, 11th, 12th and then the graduation I have also done my masters.

So I have added my master's details as well. Okay. There comes the another

well. Okay. There comes the another important section that is accomplishment. Okay. So here I have

accomplishment. Okay. So here I have added the details about what kind of certifications I have done in in my career and which are currently not

expired. So I have added my details. I

expired. So I have added my details. I

have added my LinkedIn profile URL as well. Along with this, the freshers can

well. Along with this, the freshers can add GitHub repo URL where you can you know put all the project work, all the automation related work or any code

related to building your application is being uh available. Okay. So you can add those URLs as well. Then we have personal details. Your date of birth,

personal details. Your date of birth, category, address. So these details you

category, address. So these details you can add. Okay. And let me tell you guys

can add. Okay. And let me tell you guys these are very important details. You

have to fill these details. You should

be aware like okay some people might think that I have updated the above section so it's enough right? But no

these are also very important. Then next

come is the diversity and inclusion section. So make sure you update if in

section. So make sure you update if in case you have some kind of uh disability status or you have worked previously in military or military uh areas. So you

can add those details. Yeah, once you update all the details up to this section, you can see that my noir profile will show it's 100%. But

guys, now I want to share one important tip over here. It doesn't mean that you have updated this and it's done. Okay,

there is one more thing you have to focus upon. This is the most important

focus upon. This is the most important tip guys. Once you update all these

tip guys. Once you update all these details in no portal, if you scroll down, you will see another option of uploading your self-recorded video.

Right? Okay. So, in this video, I have made sure that I I'm recording all the stuff like uh what's my name, in which organization I'm working, what is my

total experience, what kind of skill set, certification I have done. So, the

professional summary part I have recorded it and I have uploaded here. So

sometimes HR also see this video and they might judge you like what is what kind of communication you have what kind of confidence you have right so this kind of stuff will definitely help you

to get H over the other guys make sure you are updating your profile regularly and this will help the HR to identify that okay this no profile is

active right and this is how the no algorithm also works it tries to find out all the notary profiles which are active in last 24 to 48 hours. So to

remain in the competition what we can do is simply make sure you are updating any one section. Now guys there is no need

one section. Now guys there is no need to remove the new skills, add new skills so that this will help to get your profile updated. Simply what you can do

profile updated. Simply what you can do is you can just click on edit option and if in case you are not uh you know in in case if you don't want to add any new

stuff simply you can just save it no need to add anything right. So this

shows that your profile successfully updated. Okay. So even if you this even

updated. Okay. So even if you this even if you do this kind of stuff this is going to help you a lot and will keep you active and HR would be able to pick

your resume provided you have completed all the sections properly. You have all the skills you have all the experience in place. A lot of people say no doesn't

in place. A lot of people say no doesn't work but the truth is no works exactly like your search engine. There are

different parameters which no algorithm works upon and based on which recruiters search your profile. Those parameters

can be either keywords, compensation details, experience range, what kind of key skills you have, location and some other filters. If your profile doesn't

other filters. If your profile doesn't match those filters, you won't appear even if your skills are strong. That's
