It is year nine of high school. And I
happen to have this very, very attractive friend. Pretty much my best
attractive friend. Pretty much my best mate at the time. His name was Luther. I
hope he doesn't mind me putting him in the video, but yeah, it'll be fine. But
pretty much, bro, Luther and I, we would hang out all the time. [music] We'd be hanging out during lunchtime and even sit next to each other in class. [music]
We'd be really, we were tight like that, right? And this one day, we were both in
right? And this one day, we were both in math class doing maths. And [music]
apparently there was this girl who has a crush on Luther and she ends up sitting right behind us. And so she's trying to like get his attention, you know? She's
like, you know, hey, hey, hey, Luther.
Luther, you know, join stupid [ __ ] girl stuff. You know what I'm saying?
girl stuff. You know what I'm saying?
And Luther doesn't really give a [ __ ] He knows he's attractive. Luther didn't
really give any interest to this girl.
He just was not interested at all. And
so, get this, right? The girl just kind of stops annoying Luther.
And so, the class ends. And as we're walking out the class, Luther and I notice something.
We notice that there are two girls, you know, arguing with each other. As we're trying to walk to the next classroom, there's these two girls arguing with each other. And one
of them happens to be the girl that had a crush on Luther. And she's arguing [music] with another girl, right? And we
both hear Luther's name gets into the conversation like twice, no three [music] times now. And we're wondering what's going on. So we have to, you know, have to listen to that because Luther's name is in it. Pretty much get
this. We found out that this new girl
this. We found out that this new girl arguing with this girl was over the fact that this girl was trying to go for Luther and she saw her
trying to do that. She was jealous because she wanted Luther as well.
[snorts] Can you? But can you imagine that? Can you just imagine that for a
that? Can you just imagine that for a second? Imagine being argued over by
second? Imagine being argued over by [music] two girls. To me, that just wasn't even possible. To me, that wasn't even anything. That to me, that was
even anything. That to me, that was literally like from the movies from TV shows. I didn't even think that was
shows. I didn't even think that was possible. But here, my mate Luther was
possible. But here, my mate Luther was getting argued over by two women. How
insane is that? Imagine being in that position. The reason why I didn't think
position. The reason why I didn't think it was possible is because I grew up thinking I was below average. in terms
of attractiveness. And so
I never really got the attention growing up. And at [music] this point, I don't
up. And at [music] this point, I don't do anything about it because I don't think it's that important just yet. This getting girls,
this being attractive stuff because back at home, I'm this awesome video gamer.
[music] I'm super competitive at Overwatch, top 500 gamer in all of New Zealand and Australia. or imagine that I was a G at this ship. And so I don't
really have that urge to be more attractive just yet until about 1 year later goes and it's [music] now year 10 and I'm still really good friends with
Luther. [snorts]
Luther. [snorts] And this one day we're out on the fields. It's lunchtime and we're just
fields. It's lunchtime and we're just enjoying our lunchtime together. just
being boys, playing with like leaves, putting leaves in our backpacks, you know, being stupid idiots, boys.
When all of a sudden there's this group of girls that we see from a distance, we're out on the fields, right? That
we're we're away from all the other children. There's this group of girls
children. There's this group of girls that seems to be coming closer and closer and closer and closer and closer to us. They seem to be following us at
to us. They seem to be following us at this point. we're going, you know, we're
this point. we're going, you know, we're going up the hills, we're going this way, we're going that way. They seem to be following us throughout this whole thing and we kind of [music] noticed that. And so, at one point, we kind of
that. And so, at one point, we kind of just stood still. Um, it's it's me, Luther, [music] and my other friend, right? So, three of us, three of them,
right? So, three of us, three of them, and they come up to us, right? All three
of them.
And this one girl from that group particularly, let's call her Jasmine for the story's sake. Jasmine's this pretty attractive Indian girl. And so imagine this, my friend and I, not Luther, but
my other friend and I, we're both standing in front of Luther like this.
Luther's behind us, right? And we see Jasmine coming closer and closer and closer. And I'm like, "Oh my gosh, wait,
closer. And I'm like, "Oh my gosh, wait, is she [music] about to come up and speak to me?" She looks like she's looking straight at me, right? And as
she's coming closer and closer and closer, I realize that she walks right in between us, just straight past us.
doesn't even look at us. Bar, I thought she was looking at me, but she was not looking at me. Bar, she was looking at somebody right behind me. And it was Luther.
And she started chatting with him.
Pretty much just ignored me. Fully just utterly ignored
ignored me. Fully just utterly ignored me. Didn't even didn't even acknowledge
me. Didn't even didn't even acknowledge my existence. [music] She obviously had
my existence. [music] She obviously had a massive crush on Luther as well, but again, Luther didn't give a [ __ ] And it was here where I've really just realized and really [music] just hammered me and
like put a nail in my in my heart that made [music] me like go like, "Holy crap dude.
I'm I'm getting put down in real time right now because of the way that I look." Like looks are really important.
look." Like looks are really important.
I never knew how important they really were. But like, oh dang. Like, you know,
were. But like, oh dang. Like, you know, at this point in my life, um, I'm getting to that stage where it's like [music] I'm kind of craving this intimacy from girls a little bit. I
didn't really [music] get that much from parents or anything from growing up really much or at least what I would like to [music] have.
And so, this feeling that Luther is getting would be really nice to me.
[music] But the problem was my appearance.
I thought this wasn't really possible to get what I was craving for because of the way I looked and I thought I was just genetically inferior and I thought I was genuinely [ __ ] because like what
am I supposed to do? I'm born with my genetics.
I'm Indian as well so that doesn't help.
[music] Everybody's hating on Indians.
[laughter] What the heck do I do? So, I'm believing that I'm born with these genetics and there's nothing I can do about it. So, I
may as well just use these outlets, like video games, like watching adult content on my phone [music] for a fake version of intimacy that I couldn't
really get in real life, just to mask what the real issue really was, right?
Because I didn't want to really I didn't want to face that. So, this wasn't actually the last time I saw Jasmine.
I'll see her years later after the inevitable glow up. I don't want to spoil what
glow up. I don't want to spoil what happens, but it's pretty juicy. Make
sure you stay till that. But um so a lot of you guys have probably heard this story from me countless times, but please bear with me [music] because for the people who haven't heard it,
this is going to hit like a freight train. But it's 2021 now. So, three
train. But it's 2021 now. So, three
years later from that point, at this point, I just graduated from high school and I'm feeling really, really lonely because I kind of stopped talking to Luther and all my friends. And now I'm
scrolling on this lowfi Discord server trying to look for friends and particularly gamer girlfriends because there was this
introduction sections where you could introduce yourself and I'm looking for one thing and one thing alone and that is girls. But I end up messaging this
is girls. But I end up messaging this girl from the Discord server who wants to play CS [music] GO with me. And so I go ahead and text her and we hop on a
call. And I end up liking this girl
call. And I end up liking this girl quite a bit straight away because I am in a [music] very very scarse mindset because for the past what [ __ ] 4
years of my life, I've had zero female intimacy female interactions, right? Not
even a hug.
So for me this was a jackpot playing with a girl and she was also very attractive too [music] because she sends me these pictures of her.
Oh no, but this means I have to send one back. Oh goodness me.
back. Oh goodness me.
From all the experience I've had in the past with girls, this was aching at my heart because now I'm seriously procrastinating sending her a picture of myself. I don't want to
send her a picture of myself. She's
going to she's not she's not going to want to play with me anymore because I'm so just insecure of the way that I look that I just don't [music] even want to show her. And I'm just keep on
show her. And I'm just keep on procrastinating. She keeps asking me,
procrastinating. She keeps asking me, "Show me, show me, show me." Right? And
I am at this point pretty deep [music] into a connection with this girl. We've
been playing for a few weeks or something like that. But [music] one day, I just think to myself, this girl at
this point is pretty [music] cool.
She's down to earth. She's really funny.
Like, come on, guys. [snorts] She
wouldn't do anything bad. She wouldn't
like run away from me if I tried showing her my face. If anything, like, even if she doesn't like me, it's like, that's okay. She's not like that, you know?
okay. She's not like that, you know?
She's not like that that. And so I send her a picture of myself after a few weeks of playing together. I finally do this
just to never ever receive a text from her ever again.
Fully just ghosted.
This was the pivotal moment for me that gave me the motivation to start doing something about my looks. This was
a very big slap to me because it is now that I truly realize and I truly fathom how important your
appearance really is. If this is the way women are treating me, imagine just how my, you know, my future opportunities are in life, not just with
women, future job opportunities.
If I wanted to get into social media, if I wanted to do this, it's everything is why is everything so superficial? I
didn't even I didn't know why, but everything really is. If I wanted to live a better life, undoubtedly the more more attractive that I look, the better life I will live. That is when I knew
that. Now, at this point, I have a few
that. Now, at this point, I have a few problems with my appearance. First off,
[music] my health.
I wasn't taking care of myself properly.
played hours of video games late, did not sleep many hours, was not eating healthy, was not going to the gym, was not healthy in the slightest, was not even getting [music] my average walking was like my steps per day was like a
thousand per or [music] 2,000 at most.
And second off, I had a few flaws on my face. I had a few quote unquote flaws,
face. I had a few quote unquote flaws, if you'd like to call it a flaw. floor
or flaw flat. I don't know. These like
flaws I'm talking about are things that I knew for a fact I can't necessarily change about my my myself, but I can try things that [music] might make these
things not look as bad. I knew for a fact I have very dry skin, so I need skinincare products that don't strip my natural oils away. So, a gentle
cleanser. [music] I used a moisturizer.
cleanser. [music] I used a moisturizer.
And I even hopped on some salicylic acid because I had I had a lot of these black hair type of like spots on my nose, gritty texture to my skin that I needed to smooth out. I'm trying all these
different hairstyles from short to long.
I'm even heading to the gym now [music] and working out. But still, bro, after six whole months of doing this, I'll be honest. I I still look like a zombie.
honest. I I still look like a zombie.
And I didn't know why. I mean, [music] look, dude. My eyes. don't even need to
look, dude. My eyes. don't even need to look at my eye bags or [music] lack of eye bags, just the the hollowess that looked like I was a zombie and my skin
was so pale. I did not know why. I was
doing all this skin care stuff and still my skin looked like this. So, at this point, I erased all junk foods from my diet and I started eating only whole
foods because I wanted to start bulking now and gain heaps of muscle. And so by doing this for a few months, my acne naturally started to clear up. My skin
became more brighter. At this point, I also started growing a beard. Luckily,
[music] I have Indian genetics. Nobody's
ever said that. But I'm joking. Look, I
can be racist to my own race. Okay, it's
fine. My face is it's it's just round from the from the front. And so me growing a beard, I can kind of make my face look more sharper. Of course, I'm also meuing at this point [music] as well. Muing is when you put your tongue
well. Muing is when you put your tongue up against the roof of your mouth and it's actually very important because this is proper tongue posture. Your
entire [music] face is going to shift in the right direction. And I was bulking really hard, eating a lot of carby foods. And everything was going good
foods. And everything was going good because I was focusing on the gym, trying to bulk up and put on all this mass.
However, it's now 2024, January, and I noticed something. I
noticed something. I I got fat. I put on a lot of fat. And uh
at this point, [music] there wasn't really many women giving me the light of day. Being big is fine. It's great to
day. Being big is fine. It's great to have muscle, but my face was just so bloated from all the carbs and [ __ ] I was eating, bro. Because I was eating so
much rice, oats, all these very heavy [music] carbs, bread even, right? Pasta.
And when you eat carbs like this, dude, carbs that don't have a lot of potassium in them, a lot of minerals, it's going to hold water in your face, a
lot of water retention, and you need potassium to flush this water out, right? So, I looked like I was bloated
right? So, I looked like I was bloated 24/7. This is such a horrible feeling
24/7. This is such a horrible feeling right now what I'm feeling because because it really does feel like all of this work that I've been putting into my appearance and [music] my my improvement
is literally for nothing. I mean, I probably look worse now than I did when I first [music] started, bro. I I'm not even getting any attention right now.
And this isn't even the worst part because get this, a friend that I have from high school is hosting a high school reunion [music] party in 7 months
from now. So, her birthday is in July.
from now. So, her birthday is in July.
It's January right now. And I'm going to see all my high school friends again that I haven't seen in what, 2 years, 3
years even. I need to glow up properly.
years even. I need to glow up properly.
And this is where the real glow up journey begins. And so, this is probably
journey begins. And so, this is probably one of the most important things that I did to start insanely just looking a lot different. [music] At this point, I hop
different. [music] At this point, I hop on a very low carb, high protein diet. I
start eating very, very simply. [music]
Meats, eggs, fruits, vegetables. Not
super super low carb, but I took out things like rice. I took out all these heavy carbs that don't have any potassium in it. And I replaced it with, you know, things like potatoes, sweet
potatoes, honey, fruits, dates. These
things are amazing for your facial aesthetics. But it gives you the right
aesthetics. But it gives you the right amount of energy for the gym as well.
So, I wasn't necessarily tired and like depleted. [music]
depleted. [music] I still had good energy for the gym. And
I slowly started to actually I'm not going to lie to you. I started to shed fat h superhumanly quick. And on top of that, I'm also keeping a lot of my
strength that I gained during the [music] bulk, which is very good because it means I'm keeping the muscle that I built during the bulk. And at this point, my hair is pretty short.
But I noticed that my whenever my hair is long, that really suits me. And I'm
just trying to figure out why. Like I'm
trying [music] to figure out the reasons behind why I look better with some things. Yeah. And I'm just come to the
things. Yeah. And I'm just come to the conclusion that I have a peanut head, right, dude? My head is massive.
right, dude? My head is massive.
If I have short hair, I mean, my head is just going to reveal to the universe. And on top of that,
bro, the back of my head is flat. It is
flat. So if I have if I have no hair covering this, this is a it's a freaking straight line, dude.
It's a wall. No wonder I look so weird with with short hair. And also,
look at my nose. My nose is massive.
Who gave me this? Oh, who's calling me?
Mom. Oh no.
Um, we leave by 7 something.
Okay. Yep.
Yeah.
Okay.
Bye.
Okay. Bye.
Bye.
[snorts] I don't know why my parents get so mad at me when I'm recording videos, dude.
Oh no. What am I doing? What was I saying? Right. My nose, guys. My nose is
saying? Right. My nose, guys. My nose is massive, right? Let's Let's be real. I'm
massive, right? Let's Let's be real. I'm
not I'm not fooling anyone here.
So, [music] what do you think happens if I have really short hair? Like a buzz cut for example, it shows it accentuates your facial features. So, if you have really good facial features, unlike me,
right? If you have good facial features,
right? If you have good facial features, a buzz cut might suit you. If you have nice eyes, a nice I don't know, slim aesthetic looking nose, a buzz cut might
really [music] look good on you. But for
someone like me, having long hair kind of takes [music] away from the big nose a little bit because I'll show you two pictures of what I look like with short hair and
what I look like with long hair. You'll
notice my nose, even though I didn't change my nose, I never got [music] I never got any surgery or any of that [ __ ] My nose just looks naturally slimmer.
And that's kind of the placebo effect.
No, not a not the placebo effect, just an effect. It's an effect. And also one
an effect. It's an effect. And also one final thing, I have naturally really hollow eyes. You know, there's just not
hollow eyes. You know, there's just not a lot of skin here. And so naturally, my eyes are just gonna look [music] very zombie-l like most of the time. And even
if I got my sleep, my 8 hours 8 hours of sleep, I just naturally have this tired type of look all the time. I mean, dude, I had this one teacher in university who was concerned that I never got [music]
any sleep, but I did get eight hours of sleep that night, but it was just my my hollow eyes. So, I was trying two different serums. One was a caffeinated eye serum. So, an eye serum with
eye serum. So, an eye serum with caffeine in it, just like coffee, you know. And from the first application,
know. And from the first application, [music] like half an hour later, I'm noticing a very big difference in just the awakeness of how I look.
It really [music] just made the hollowess 20% better. And also, I started using
20% better. And also, I started using this thing called buchial eye cream.
Buch is like retinol, [music] but it's less harsh. It's like a Korean version
less harsh. It's like a Korean version of retinol. And slowly over time, this
of retinol. And slowly over time, this was getting rid of my, you know, [music] like the wrinkles that I had. And now
through everything that I've been doing, it's 7 [music] months later. It's July
of 2024 and I look a lot different than I do 7 [music] months ago and also 2 years ago.
In a good way, I hope.
But the moment you've been waiting for.
But this is where the party happens.
[music] And so I'm just super super super nervous, bro. You have no idea because I'm about to see my friends, [music] you know, some girls that I haven't seen in many years in this high
school reunion party. 3 years later, I'm literally 21 years old now. And so, as I'm walking into this bar, it was hosted [music] at a bar. I open the door slowly
just my heart is pounding because I just imagine like you know seeing your like because you know for a fact everybody's going to stare at you after not seeing you for 3 years trying to like figure out who you are. You know what I'm
saying?
But I open [music] the door and immediately everybody stares at me but not in the way that I initially thought.
But instantly, I swear to you, I just get greeted [music] with, "Bro, you look majestic now.
You look good, bro. The glow is insane."
I'm getting [music] all these compliments from these these men that I haven't seen in [music] many years.
And I'm feeling really good until this [music] happens.
So, I end up seeing Jasmine, that girl [music] from year 10 that straight up ignored me.
And guess what?
She sees me and she doesn't ignore me.
She actually acknowledges my existence and she's like, "Oh my god, wait, who are you?"
She didn't even know who I was. That
could either be from the fact that she genuinely just does not remember who I was because I was that forgettable
or she knew who I was but she just can't recognize me. It was either one of those
recognize me. It was either one of those two. But either way,
two. But either way, she actually acknowledged me. And I'm
pretty sure if I can remember correctly, she she did call me handsome or [music] or cute or something like that, which oh, it's like what the actual [ __ ] for
[music] it just made me it makes me realize in that moment how shallow people can be. But I couldn't really blame her or blame anyone [music] for
that matter for treating me this way because the thing is I'm also shallow, you know. know, it's [music] like I I
you know. know, it's [music] like I I also get these tendencies of treating people who look better better. I mean I mean it's something that's just subconsciously inside us. And I'm enjoying my time. I'm
inside us. And I'm enjoying my time. I'm
just actually having a conversation with this girl like telling her, "You don't even remember me. I was literally like in your 10. You ignored me." [music] And she's like, "No, what? No, you weren't.
You weren't there. I [snorts] don't remember you. Who you are? Who are you?"
remember you. Who you are? Who are you?"
It's like, "What [laughter] the fuck?"
You know, it's like I'm getting in this moment. I feel
really good. I feel great actually because I'm getting all this attention that I've been craving for a very long time. But as I drove back home,
time. But as I drove back home, do I feel like extremely happy, extremely proud of myself for getting all this attention that I didn't really receive
before?
No. I don't feel any different than I did, you know, 3 years [music] ago. Of
course I of course it feels good in the moment. It feels great in the moment to
moment. It feels great in the moment to get all this attention and stuff, but it isn't what you truly really want. It's
not what you truly desire deep inside.
Because what I desired, what I do desire is connection. It's love. It's all this
is connection. It's love. It's all this it's all this deeper stuff. And of
course, having more attractive people around you is nice. Having the
attractive girl is a nice thing. It is.
Not going to deny that. It's a great thing.
But there's so much more to to life than just appearances. [music] You know, you
just appearances. [music] You know, you can have the looks, but if you don't have your health, your actual health, then none of it really matters. You know, they say you
really matters. You know, they say you have 100 different [music] problems in your life daily. But once you have a health problem, you have one problem.
Take care of [music] your health.
Once you actually take care of your health, you will be an attractive person because health [music] is what makes half of your looks and fixing your flaws as well. Okay? So,
as well. Okay? So,
take what I say with a [ __ ] grain of salt. Use [music] your own knowledge to
salt. Use [music] your own knowledge to experiment with different ways to look better because this whole thing, this whole like looks maxing thing is just a big experiment. Take good care of your
big experiment. Take good care of your health. Take really good care of your
health. Take really good care of your health. be extra v vigilant [music]
health. be extra v vigilant [music] on your health and [music] being attractive is just it's just a side effect of that. Okay?
Because it really does feel good to get attention. I'm not going to lie to you.
attention. I'm not going to lie to you.
It does. But just remember, bro, it's that's just that's what's that's just what what's on the side, you know? Focus
on you. Focus on what you need to do with your life. I need to do a lot of things with my life. I'm not anywhere and not I'm not anyone perfect, but I'm still building. Just remember [snorts]
still building. Just remember [snorts] that, okay? I just want to leave that
that, okay? I just want to leave that there because if you did click on this video, chances are you are very insecure of your of the way that you look. And
I'm just telling you this right now.
Whilst you work on your looks, please establish your character. Build your
character into the man who can become one who attracts without needing your appearance, without needing to rely on
that. Okay. Much love, eh? It's a dry
that. Okay. Much love, eh? It's a dry place.
