At Kraken, we've got over 2 gawatt of residential flexibility on the platform and what we've seen is that we have managed to move peak demand and reduce
it by 42% in the UK. So that means moving EV charging to off- peak times where it's cleaner, greener, and cheaper for the end user and able to share that
value back [music] with them.
We see real value for our utility partners and clients when they're engaging the end user in the energy transition. Um for the end customers, we
transition. Um for the end customers, we see big bill savings for EV uh participation in time of use and dynamic pricing tariffs, but also from a utility
perspective, we see low churn for these customers and a deepening relationship with the utility partner.
Our flexibility platform always prioritizes user preferences. That means
that we have their devices heating their home or charging their car when they need that to happen. And that builds customer trust. Without that trust, uh
customer trust. Without that trust, uh we can't offer that flexibility value.
And what we see is that 50% of our customers don't override the optimization of the system, especially for EVs. So we've built that trust, which allows us to offer those
flexibility services back to our utility partners.
