How To ACTUALLY Seek First God's Kingdom (Matthew 6:33 Explained)

Today's video, I'm going to be going over five practical steps to teach you how to actually seek first the kingdom of God, so that all of these things can

be added into your life. So, for those of you who don't know, this is my favorite verse in the entire Bible, or one of my favorite verses. In Matthew

6:33, it says, "Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added onto you."

So, the goal is we put God first by doing these five different things, so that these five different things and much more can be added into your life.

Now, we're all mature believers, the guys that watch this channel, myself included. I'm not the most mature, but a

included. I'm not the most mature, but a mature thing for you to do as a Christian is not to just pull verses out of context. I want to give you guys an

of context. I want to give you guys an understanding of where this verse actually comes from. This is within, obviously, one of the gospels. Jesus is

giving a sermon, and he talks about how a lot of people get stressed out about the things of this world. Like, what are they going to eat? What are they going to wear? How much money they're going to

to wear? How much money they're going to have in the bank? What if this happens in the future? Like, people stress about all kinds of stuff, myself included. And

he gives this analogy where he talks about how God provides for the birds of the sky, right? They have clothes on their back, they have hair. Right?

They're good there. They have a place to sleep, they've got trees, place to lay their head. They have food, they have

their head. They have food, they have water, they have everything they need.

And so, God provides for the birds of the sky, and people get worried about what they're going to have. It's like,

God provides for the birds, how much more valuable are you and I as humans that are created in the image and likeness of God? Right? If the birds have nothing to worry about, neither do

we. So, instead of being stressed out

we. So, instead of being stressed out and fearing and worrying about the future, you just need to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and he's going to add everything that you could possibly need into your life,

so you have nothing to worry about. So,

that's where this verse comes from. And

And if you want to put God first, I've broken it down into five different steps that you can take to actually do that so that we can have everything we need added into our lives as believers. Step

number one to seeking first God's kingdom is you must be in the word, okay? And I'm not just talking about

okay? And I'm not just talking about reading it willy-nilly. A lot of Christians get this wrong. They'll just

pull like random verses out of context or they'll say, "God, I want you to speak to me." So they just open up a random chapter in the Bible and they say, "Here." And it's like some verse

say, "Here." And it's like some verse about getting murdered or something and they're like, "Does God want me dead?"

It's like, "No, dude. You need to read scripture daily and you need to read verses in context and also you need to study God's word. Don't just read it willy-nilly. Don't just read the verse

willy-nilly. Don't just read the verse of the day. Whenever you open up your Bible and you're getting into it consistently, make a daily practice.

Make it a goal to read at least one chapter every single day. If you're

going to read through the book of Matthew, read chapters 1 through 30 or however many chapters there are in there and just read one chapter after another.

I would also get out a journal while you're reading the word and that way whenever you're reading and verses come up that don't make any sense that you have questions about, write them down.

Write highlight verses that stick out to you that you want to memorize in the future. And also, use commentaries,

future. And also, use commentaries, right? This is something that a lot of

right? This is something that a lot of people don't really know of, but there are Bible scholars and theologians and pastors all over the world that have written commentaries that explain verse by verse exactly what's going on in the

scriptures. Now, obviously you need to

scriptures. Now, obviously you need to make sure that you're taking advice or you're studying a commentary from a man that you respect that is a godly man that knows what he's talking about, but you can always look at commentaries.

John MacArthur has some good ones. His

theology can be a a little bit weird cuz he's a Calvinist, but there's definitely a lot of good pastors out there or good theologians that have created commentaries. You can look up

commentaries. You can look up commentaries on the internet or you can buy them at local Christian bookstore and that way you can cross-reference between the different commentaries as you're studying the word to get a

different perspective and to actually learn, okay? You do not want to be the

learn, okay? You do not want to be the guy that just reads through the Bible and gets confused at different verses and says, "Oh, I'll just figure that out later. This doesn't make any sense." and

later. This doesn't make any sense." and

then just gives up or just procrastinates on actually studying to get to learn and understand. Like, don't

do that. It's a waste of time. If you're

going to read it, you need to be intentional and actually learn and retain what you're what you're reading in scripture so that you can get it and you can actually use it in the future, right? If you're just reading through it

right? If you're just reading through it and it don't make any sense, you're not studying, you're not asking questions, you're not trying to learn, it's a waste of your time. Also, couple of other good resources is using AI. Uh you can use

ChatGPT, you can use Claude or some other Bible studying AI software. There

are a couple of apps out there and just use it as something that's supplementary where you just read through the scripture, obviously allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you, but if you have any questions, you can go on ChatGPT and

say, "Hey, give it a good prompt. Like,

hey, I'm a I'm a Christian. I'm a

Bible-believing Christian. I'm not

Catholic or not any other faith, but give me a accurate biblical perspective on this verse here." And you can pull from commentaries, you can pull from

other resources that have been studied, that are accurate, and just give me a better explanation of this verse here.

And the more that you do that over time, the more you'll actually learn the Bible. And uh definitely start

Bible. And uh definitely start memorizing verses as well. It's very

important to memorize scripture so you have weapons to use against the enemy in spiritual warfare. If you don't have any

spiritual warfare. If you don't have any scripture memorized, you don't actually know what the Bible says when Satan plants your mind with different attacks and lies and bullcrap to try and throw

you off. If you don't have scripture

you off. If you don't have scripture memorized, you can't differentiate God's voice from the devil's voice and you're going to stumble, you're going to fall into sin, you're going to make a lot of mistakes. So, make sure that you're

mistakes. So, make sure that you're memorizing scripture as well. I also

have some Bible verses here that just hammer home the point of how important it is for us to be in God's word daily.

Psalm chapter 119 verse 105, this is David. He talks about how God's word is

David. He talks about how God's word is a lamp unto his feet, meaning he uses the Bible and he uses God's word to direct his path. If you have a lamp and

you're walking down a dark path, you need the lamp to be able to see where where you're going. In the same way, if you're born-again Christian, you need God's word to direct where you go. If

you don't know what scripture says, once again, you're going to be led astray.

You need to be led by the Holy Spirit.

You need to be led by God, and the best way to do that is by knowing what God's word says so you can actually follow it and be obedient to God. But if you do that consistently over time, it's going to put you in a really great spot,

promise you. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8

promise you. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8 says, "The book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do according to all

that is written in it, for then you will have good success." So, big point of scripture, one of the highest-level key understandings of God's word is if

you understand the Bible and you follow and you're obedient to what God says, your life will go well. It's not going to be perfect. You will have trials, you will have tribulations, you will have difficult times, but if you're following

God and you're in alignment with his will, things will be a lot smoother for you, and ultimately, you're going to end up where God's calling you to be, which is exactly where you should want to go.

Second Timothy chapter 3 verses 16 and 17 says that all scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the

man of God may be complete and equipped for every good work. Right, God's word is extremely important. The more that you learn it, the more that you can help other Christians around you, and you can

also disciple them and guide them for them to reach their highest potential as Christian men, and you just want to be there for them. You want to be able to disciple and help them out, point them in the right direction, and it's impossible for you to do that if you

don't know God's word.

[snorts] Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12 talks about how God's word is sharper than a double-edged sword. Great way to further

double-edged sword. Great way to further understand that is God's word just cuts through all the crap, right? You can

look at our society, you can look at feminism, and how the world tells you to live your life, and God's word completely contradicts all that. Our

society doesn't even know what gender they are. It's telling you you can do

they are. It's telling you you can do whatever you want, live your best life, YOLO, live in sin, live in degeneracy, hook up with as many people as possible, don't even get married, push that off,

like just live your best life is basically what our society tells you.

The The Bible completely contradicts that. It tells you to be a a godly man,

that. It tells you to be a a godly man, to love the Lord, to deny yourself. It's

not about what you want, it's about what God wants for you. So, the word of God is sharper than double-edged sword cuz it just cuts through the crap, and it tells you the truth. Our society is full

of lies and deception because the world is run by the little G God, Satan, and he hates you, and all he wants to do is steal, kill, and destroy from you. So,

if you listen to the world, you're going to get awful results in your life.

You're going to have a bad bad marriage, horrible relationships, uh you're going to be addicted, you're going to be a loser. In all reality, you're going to

loser. In all reality, you're going to be a total degenerate. Your life is going to suck. So, go against the world, follow God, and once again, your life's going to be way better as a result. Step

number two to seek and first the kingdom of God is prayer. And I wanted to give you a little framework for prayer. A lot

of guys don't really know how to pray, and I just want to be the big brother that you probably do not have in your life to guide you in your faith. This is

a very simple framework for you to follow. It's called the ACTS framework.

The A stands for adoration. Basically,

whenever you start to pray, you want to give adoration to God the Father.

Basically, worshiping who he is, using scripture, using all the amazing things that he's done in your life, just basically cast your adoration onto God because you

love him and he's done so much for you.

The second step here is C, confession.

Basically, you want to bring all your sins to God. You tell him all the things you've done wrong. You want to repent.

You want to say, "Hey, Lord, I did X Y Z and I know that your word tells me to do the complete opposite of what I've been doing. I'm sorry. I'm wrong. I'm a

doing. I'm sorry. I'm wrong. I'm a

sinner. Please forgive me. I love you."

That is confession.

The T stands for Thanksgiving.

Once again, you're you're just going to basically thank God for everything that he's blessed you with in your life. Your

car, if you have one, your family, your friends, your community, your job, your relationship, all the addictions that God has delivered you out of. Just thank him for everything. A really good question to

everything. A really good question to ask yourself whenever you're thanking God for things in your life is if you woke up tomorrow with all the things that you thank God for yesterday, what would you have? I you want to have

everything in your life, so thank him for as much as you possibly can. Step

four in this framework is the S stands for supplication. This is where you

for supplication. This is where you bring all of your needs to God. All the

questions that you have, all the things that you want to ask him for. Like I I I need more breakthrough in my career. I I

need a mentor, Lord. I I want a godly woman. I need help with overcoming lust.

Like just ask him for the things, all the desires of your heart. And every

time you pray, just follow this framework. It simplifies things for you.

And pray on a daily basis. There should

not be a single day that goes by where you do not pray at least one time. And

if you do not pray and you don't talk to God, what you're indirectly telling him is you got this. You don't need God.

You're fine. You can figure out everything on your own and that is pride. And the Bible says that pride

pride. And the Bible says that pride comes before the fall. You need to rely on God. He should be your source of

on God. He should be your source of wisdom and knowledge and help and guidance and love. If you're not going to him on a daily basis, your life is going to suck. I promise

you. And you're going to put way more stress on yourself, and you're going to try and white-knuckle things, and stuff is just not going to work out. So,

please pray to God the Father. He wants

you to. He loves you. He wants a relationship with you. Pray to him every single day. Now, if you're enjoying this

right now. The third step in seeking first God's kingdom is you must have community in your life. So, practically,

this looks like getting plugged into a Bible-preaching church as soon as you possibly can if you're not plugged into one already. And whenever I say plugged

one already. And whenever I say plugged in, that means going there consistently, joining a Bible study if they have one, getting involved with the young adults in your community if you're a young

adult, and then also joining a small group. Now, you don't have to do all of

group. Now, you don't have to do all of these things at one time, but you do want to get plugged into the church. You

don't want to be the Christian that just goes on Sunday, and then you disappear for the rest of the week, and you're not involved in the community. If you want to grow, you must be involved. You must

have other Christians around you. And

another big part of this is finding a mentor, right? Find somebody who is

mentor, right? Find somebody who is going to church consistently, who's mature in their faith, who is already where you want to be in the future.

Right? Maybe they have really good relationship with God, or they've overcome a certain addiction that you're struggling with, or they're a leader, and they have a lot of qualities that you admire, that you wish that you had,

or maybe they have a wife and kids, and a really good family, and you look up to them for that. And you want to be there in the future, right? Surround yourself

with people that are already in the place that you want to be in if you actually want to shortcut your path to getting there. So, once you are

getting there. So, once you are following this advice and you're plugged into church, look around the room, find the guy that you admire the most, walk up to him and say, "Hey, man, I really want to grow in my faith. You got a lot

of traits and characteristics that I admire. Would you be willing to mentor

admire. Would you be willing to mentor me and help me? Maybe we could meet on the phone or at a coffee shop once a week. Like, would you be open to that?

Most guys who have the Holy Spirit inside of them, who care about people at all, will say yes to that and they'd be very happy to mentor you and just show

up whenever they say they can, be on time, bring a pen and paper, ask good questions, listen, be present, and most importantly, whatever advice they give you, if it's godly advice that aligns with scripture, you better freaking do

it, man. Do not waste their time. Bible

it, man. Do not waste their time. Bible

says in Proverbs 27:17 that iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another. And in Hebrews 10:24 and 25, it

another. And in Hebrews 10:24 and 25, it talks about the importance of us gathering with other believers to draw out or to provoke one another to good

works, right? We don't talk about that a

works, right? We don't talk about that a lot. Oftentimes, we'll fight with each

lot. Oftentimes, we'll fight with each other, we'll argue with each other, and we provoke each other to anger. We say

something stupid or we call somebody out for something or in your relationship with your girlfriend, you're like, "Whenever you did this, it pissed me off. Why'd you do that?" Right? You

off. Why'd you do that?" Right? You

provoke them to getting pissed off and fighting and conflict with you, but that's wrong. We shouldn't be doing

that's wrong. We shouldn't be doing that. We should be provoking one another

that. We should be provoking one another to good works, right? Calling people

out, calling people higher, exhorting them in their walk with God so that they grow as a Christian, they do more good works for the kingdom of God. That's

what we need to be doing. And if you're alone and you're isolated and you're not in community, you have nobody to sharpen you. You have nobody to call you out on

you. You have nobody to call you out on your sin. You have nobody to confess

your sin. You have nobody to confess your sins to and you're isolated and you're that much more easily attacked by Satan because you're alone. Satan

[clears throat] wants nothing more than you to be by yourself because you're much easier for him to attack with spiritual warfare and negatively influence your life or, you know,

ruin your life in all reality.

So, do not be alone. Ecclesiastes 4:9

and 10 talks about how two are greater than one if you're doing work or you're trying to do something great for God's kingdom or you're trying to overcome an addiction or whatever it is. It's better

for you to have somebody by your side helping you because it talks about if you fall down and you have no one around you to help you out, then you just stay fallen down, you stay in the the sunken place or in a bad spot in your walk with

the Lord or in your job or whatever, right? You need somebody who's there

right? You need somebody who's there with you, who loves you and cares about you, who can pull you up whenever you fall down so that you don't keep falling into sin or making the same mistakes.

Now, step number four is all about service, okay? In John chapter 14 verse

service, okay? In John chapter 14 verse 15, Jesus tells us that if we love him, we will obey his commands. And being a servant, being servant-hearted, loving

other people well is a command. It is

not optional, it is not a suggestion.

Jesus tells us, "If you're going to follow me, you're going to pick up your cross daily, you're going to deny yourself, and you're going to do what I say, okay?" And a goal for us as

say, okay?" And a goal for us as Christians is to look more and more like Jesus as our life goes on. One of the best ways to do this is by serving other people because when you serve other

people, you get the focus off of yourself and onto others. Right, a lot of guys stay stuck in their walk with the Lord because they are so focused on themselves. Like, "I don't have what I

themselves. Like, "I don't have what I want. I wish I had more money. I wish I

want. I wish I had more money. I wish I had a girlfriend. I wish I wouldn't fallen into relapses. Do these shirt make me look fat? I wish I was more jacked. I wish I had more money." or

jacked. I wish I had more money." or

whatever the goal is, right? They're so

focused on themselves that they become selfish and arrogant and they aren't even useful to the kingdom of God because all they care about is themselves, right? Jesus did not say,

themselves, right? Jesus did not say, "If you follow me and you put your faith in me, then you can reap all the benefits of this and not share the gospel and not be useful or exercise the talents that I've given you or do

anything with it." Right, that would be a total waste of time. If that was the whole goal, the second that we put our faith in Jesus, we would just go straight to heaven. But, we're all still here. And God said it's good for us to

here. And God said it's good for us to work, it's good for us to go and preach the gospel and make disciples of the nations. Like, that's the only reason

nations. Like, that's the only reason that we're still here on this earth. So,

you better dang well be serving other people and using the gifts and the talents that God has given you. In

Romans chapter 12, verses 6 and 8, it talks about these gifts and there's many other sections in scripture that explain the spiritual gifts that we have as believers. But, in this context, it

believers. But, in this context, it says, "Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them. If prophecy, in proportion to our faith. If service, in our

serving. If the one who teaches in his

serving. If the one who teaches in his teaching. The one who exhorts in in his

teaching. The one who exhorts in in his exhortation. The one who contributes in

exhortation. The one who contributes in generosity. And the one who leads with

generosity. And the one who leads with zeal. And the one who acts of mercy with

zeal. And the one who acts of mercy with cheerfulness." So, I think there's about

cheerfulness." So, I think there's about five different gifts here. We have

prophecy, we have service, we have teaching, we have exhortation, we have generosity, right, giving of the the things that God has blessed you with, the finances that God has given you. The

one who leads, so leadership is also a a gift of God. And the one who does acts of mercy, right? Some people have the gift of being merciful. I don't think I have that one. Unfortunately, I can be

pretty stubborn. But, there are specific

pretty stubborn. But, there are specific gifts and talents that God has crafted you with that he wants you to use. If

you don't use them, you're no better than the servant in that parable that Jesus gave who God gave him a talent and instead of doing anything with it at all, he just went and buried it in the sand. And the master comes back and is

sand. And the master comes back and is like, "What the hell's wrong with you?

I'm going to throw you in hell." Because

he did absolutely nothing with the gifts and the talents that God had given him.

And there's unfortunately a lot of Christians out there who live in fear and God has blessed them with good communication skills and money or

leadership capabilities and they live in fear and they overthink everything and they allow that fear to them and they end up doing absolutely nothing for God. And it's like, "Bro, that's a total

God. And it's like, "Bro, that's a total waste of your life."

And I am a firm believer that if you have the Holy Spirit inside of you and you're genuinely born again, it may take you a little while to push past that fear and that anxiety, but eventually you're going to get to a point where you're like, "Screw this, dude. I'm

tired of wasting time. God created me for something great. I'm going to use my gifts and talents and quit screwing around." Right? Most men who are truly

around." Right? Most men who are truly born again will have that revelation at some point in time, and I hope that it doesn't take you years, right? Stop

procrastinating. Use the gifts that God has given you, please, and it will make you a much better man and also give you a much more fulfilling life, and you will help way more people than just sitting in your room reading the Bible

by yourself and overthinking everything.

In Mark chapter 10, verses 45, it talks about how if you want to be great in the kingdom of God, you must first be a servant because the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve. We're called

as Christians to pick up our cross and follow Jesus, right? Jesus was a servant, that means if you want to follow him, you're going to be a servant as well. In Galatians 5:13 and also 1

as well. In Galatians 5:13 and also 1 Peter 10, it talks about the importance of serving other people, right? Getting

out of your comfort zone, loving other people well, and a big part of service that you need to understand is your flesh is not going to want to do it at all because it takes a certain level of crucifying your flesh and denying

yourself and saying it doesn't matter what I want. I'm going to keep my focus on this other person, and all I'm going to do is try and help them. And it's

hard, it's difficult. Takes a lot of reps to get to the point where you actually want to do stuff that's in other people's best interest, but you just got to deny yourself consistently over time, and also keep the frame of mind that you're going to need this in

the future. If you're a single guy right

the future. If you're a single guy right now, and you want to get married, and you want to have a family, eventually your only role is going to be head servant of your house. There's going to be a lot of things that your flesh is

not going to do at all like, you know, waking up early to take care of your babies while your wife is uh burnt out from taking care of the kids, or working all these long hours to provide for your

family, or instead of going and watching the the big game with the fellas, like spending time with your wife or with your kids, or taking your daughter her to her ballet recital. Like, there's

going to be a lot of things that you're not going to want to do at all. And if

you're not already practicing service and going out of your way to help other people while you're single, you're going to have to learn that lesson eventually, man, and you're going to be way worse off in your marriage if you haven't learned that lesson sooner.

So, start serving other people now. Get

out of your own head. Stop focusing on you. It doesn't matter about you. God

you. It doesn't matter about you. God

cares more about your holiness than your happiness, and remember that. And just

be useful for God, man. Come on. The

fifth and final step that you need to take to seek first God's kingdom is to love other people well, okay? And most

importantly, love the people that are unlovable in your community. The people

that nobody cares about, the homeless guy on the side of the road who's asking for money, the person at church that has no friends that's sitting there by themselves and they come to church every single Sunday and they have nobody to

talk to. Like focus on people that do

talk to. Like focus on people that do not get loved and do not get cared for, and go out of your way to help those people and love them well. Right? It's

extremely important over time if we want to become more and more like Jesus is we must learn how to love other people well, and serving is a big part of that, but consistently you just need to do

things that push you out of your comfort zone with the best interest of the mind of the people around you instead of only caring about yourself.

And if you ever think, "Man, I'm I'm a really loving guy. I I do a lot of this stuff very well." I want you to go open up 1 Corinthians chapter 13 and read that passage about what love actually

is. There's a bunch of different things.

It's like love is patient, love is kind, it is long-suffering, it does not hold a record of wrongs, it does not insist on its own way of doing things, and all this different stuff. And read that

whole section. Think it's verses 4

whole section. Think it's verses 4 through 8. And once you're done, replace

through 8. And once you're done, replace the word love with your first name.

[laughter] You're going to read it like, "Braden is patient. Braden is kind. Braden is

patient. Braden is kind. Braden is

long-suffering. Braden holds no record of wrongs. Braden doesn't insist on his

of wrongs. Braden doesn't insist on his own way of doing things. And you go through the whole list and you're going to get to the end of that and you're going to realize, wait, Johnny or Braden doesn't do any of that stuff well at

all. Meaning Braden is not loving and

all. Meaning Braden is not loving and Braden needs to get his crap together and start loving other people well and stop using his own subjective understanding of love and base it on

what the Bible says the truth of what love is. And that's the new standard

love is. And that's the new standard that you're going to love other people well through. And it's going to be very

well through. And it's going to be very convicting for you. It's very convicting for me the second that I think that I've got things figured out and I'm doing a good job, I read that section and I realize I'm not doing a good job at all.

I'm actually a freaking sinner and I'm evil and I'm selfish and I need to repent and get back on the narrow path and do things God's way. Now, as I alluded to earlier, whenever you actually seek first God's kingdom

through these five steps, you will have these five areas of your life and much much more be added onto you. Okay? So,

we got career, we got relationships, we got finances, we got peace and purpose.

All these things will be added in your life when you put God number one and I am living proof of that. Many of you have come to this channel from whenever I first started and I had no purpose and I didn't know what the heck I was

talking about. I was scared, I was

talking about. I was scared, I was fearful, I was single, I was struggling financially. I just didn't know what the

financially. I just didn't know what the heck I was doing with my life. And God

pulled me out of a pit of degeneracy and addiction and going and partying and sleeping around with girls and I was a freaking loser and I had no idea what I was doing with my life. God pulled me out of that pit. I started seeking him

number one through following these things and every single one of these areas and much much more was added into my life. Today I have a great

my life. Today I have a great relationship with the Lord. I've got an online business. I've got this YouTube

online business. I've got this YouTube channel. I've got millions of people

channel. I've got millions of people that watch me around the world who have grown in their faith through watching these videos. My life has purpose now.

these videos. My life has purpose now.

I'm learning so much more about the Bible and how to follow God and how to lead men. God added a great godly

lead men. God added a great godly relationship into my life. Probably

going to get engaged very, very soon.

Hopefully this video gets posted after I've already dropped the question to my girlfriend.

And it's been the best relationship that I've ever had in my life, okay? Also,

obviously financially, things have been added into my life. I have more money to be able to steward and bless God's people with and sow into my church and be generous with, right? I'm a good steward of my finances. I have

investments in place. Through God adding great godly men and women into my life who have discipled me and helped me and given me advice on my faith, on relationships, on finances, all the

things that you need to be a good well-rounded godly man the Lord has added into my life for me putting him number one. Most importantly, this is

number one. Most importantly, this is not talked about a lot, but God has added a tremendous level of peace into my life after I put him first. Because

God's word gives you structure for how to live your life. Before you become a Christian, you don't really know what you're doing in your career, in how to carry yourself as a man, what it means

to be a man, in your dating life, your relationships, and overcoming addictions. Like you're just kind of

addictions. Like you're just kind of lost. But the Bible is is the owner's

lost. But the Bible is is the owner's manual for how you should live your life. It's the basic instructions before

life. It's the basic instructions before leaving Earth is the acronym that people give for the Bible. And it's true.

Whenever you follow God's word and you're obedient to his commands, just like we read in one of these verses, you will have success. Not like prosperity gospel financial success. That may come for some of you. But in general, your

life will be a lot more successful following God and being obedient to his commands because he wrote everything. He

created all things. Don't you think the creator of this universe knows how to act and how to live your life to actually have success and and for things to for you to make progress in your life, he absolutely does. In 1

Corinthians chapter 14 verse 33 says that God is not a god of confusion, he's a god of peace. If you follow him and you love him, and you love his people well, and you do what he's commanding you to do, you will have a tremendous

level of peace in your life instead of confusion anxiety stress doubt fear etc. And then finally, obviously, a purpose. Tremendous level of purpose

purpose. Tremendous level of purpose from following God. The Bible talks about in Matthew chapter 28 verses 19 and 20, the Great Commission. We should

make disciples of all the nations, and that should be your number one focus as a Christian. Like God didn't just save

a Christian. Like God didn't just save you so you could go straight to heaven or keep all this stuff to yourself. He

saved you and equipped you with talents and gifts and abilities and knowledge and wisdom of the gospel and all these things so that you could impart that wisdom on other people. And you can use those gifts and those talents to

disciple men and teach men and women and help people to become better followers of Christ and know the Lord more and reach their highest potential as Christians as well. That is your purpose.
