How to clean debris out of your gas tank, John Deere Lawnmower Tractor. ( Craftsman, Toro, etc. )

[Music] welcome back to the channel today i'm going to show you how to clean the gas tank if you've got crap in there i'll show you how to do that slip and hose and drain it as much as you can

five minutes later now i'm gonna jack it up this way make all the gasoline go on that side [Applause] should be some on this side here coming out there

i got most of it out there all right i'm gonna leave this overnight let it all evaporate now you can see all the crap that's in there that's just uh

one side is more to the right hand side here too but so we're gonna have to vacuum that out so i put a little hose in my vacuum cleaner taped it up it makes a good suction here

now don't suck gas in your vacuum because it could uh it could catch fire so why i said yes make sure you leave this overnight let it dry out check it make sure

there's no gasoline in there so i don't want to go in there and suck everything up in there like that i'm going to just go look at it find a piece and go in there and just go vacuum

one out two three four so unless so less fumes will go in your vacuum cleaner there's some on this side here

[Music] two spots right here yeah that looks good there now i'm gonna put some fresh gas in it now

i'm going to take the uh gas line here at the bottom just to a pump here i'll put the around here

10 psi pressure here thing here [Music] now you know the fuel filter and the line's not plugged and if you wouldn't get no fuel coming out of here

i take it off here at the bottom of the filter back up here let's see if this thing starts gonna pour a little gas here in the carburetor
