Uh let's create this simple uh cinematic scene. Uh if you are first time doing

scene. Uh if you are first time doing the cinematics here uh I will go step by step and explain how to do this. It's

very easy and very straightforward. So

let's go. The first step is to press G if you have all these elements so we can remove it. And the next step to create a

remove it. And the next step to create a cinematic is to add a sequencer. To do

that, we will go up here where you can see this sequence objects and click add level sequence. Uh you can name it as

level sequence. Uh you can name it as you want and select your content folder for now. You can organize that later.

for now. You can organize that later.

Click save. And we now have our sequencer. If you worked with uh other

sequencer. If you worked with uh other video editing programs, it will be very very familiar. To be able to uh add a

very familiar. To be able to uh add a cinematic, we need a camera, of course.

So go over here that says create a new camera. Click it and it will add a new

camera. Click it and it will add a new camera. If you hold the right mouse

camera. If you hold the right mouse button and look around, you can see that we now look through the eyes of the camera. But we want to change this. It

camera. But we want to change this. It

doesn't look good. So to do that, we need to click on the camera component.

And on the right side, make sure to select this digital film. And if you change this lens settings to 12 mm, you'll now have this uh crazy firsterson

uh shot. So we'll leave this as it is.

uh shot. So we'll leave this as it is.

After that uh if you want to see your camera uh you need to click here on this unlock scene a camera actor from viewport and you will go back from the

camera and if I go here you can see your camera but I pressed G. So press G again to see your camera and you can move your camera around but we want to be inside

the camera for this uh purpose. So we

will click back here and we will lock camera inside us. Press G to remove everything. And now we need to add some

everything. And now we need to add some key frames. It's very simple. Don't

key frames. It's very simple. Don't

worry. Just go on the left side all the way down where you see this transform.

Select the transform and click this. Add

a new key at the current time. So we add a key frame. So move the play head something like here because it won't work if you go here and then move the playhead. You need first move the

playhead. You need first move the playhead like I just did and you move it here. And you can see that it

here. And you can see that it automatically creates this uh very simple cinematic shot. So let's do it again. Position your camera. Position

again. Position your camera. Position

your playhead here. Add transform. Move

the playhead over here for example.

Move it here. And click again transform.

And now if you move the playhead, you can see now how our camera moves to the table. And if I click play, use the

table. And if I click play, use the space, you can see your simple cinematic scene here. But the problem is that it uh

here. But the problem is that it uh speed up and slow down at the start and slow down at the end. If you want to change that, make sure to select your key frame, right click on it, and you

can see this cubic. You can change this to linear. And change the other one also

to linear. And change the other one also to linear. And now if you hit play, you

to linear. And now if you hit play, you can see it's linear. It doesn't slow down or speed up. Let's add a second shot. So let's for example move over

shot. So let's for example move over here and go to window over there. Uh so

you know the drill. Uh hold control and mouse wheel out to zoom out and hold right mouse button to move to the right.

And let's go here. And you can see this is the end of our shot. This uh red line. So we need to push it here. We

line. So we need to push it here. We

want to move this play head for example over here. And then we want to go to the

over here. And then we want to go to the window like this.

And we add a transform uh key here. If

you move it, you can see how it moves going here and going there. But if you click play,

you can see it's just so so bad because it's all cubicles, you know.

We need to make a smooth transition from here to here. So, select this key frame over here, right click on it, and make this smart auto. And now if we do this,

hit play. You can see nice and smooth

hit play. You can see nice and smooth transition between between the movement of the camera. Let's do another one. We

move this to the end for example and go to this drawer and add a transform key point. And you can see how it turns out

point. And you can see how it turns out going here and turning here. Also select this one and make the cubic smart auto. And now

it will be smooth, very very smooth and nice looking. Make

sure to save everything with control shift and s. If you want this movie to be faster, you can always select your uh sequencer. And now let's go to the

sequencer. And now let's go to the content drawer. And you can see this new

content drawer. And you can see this new level sequence. So just drag and drop it

level sequence. So just drag and drop it to the level. You can see it because of the G, but if you press G, you will see it. So select it and on the right side

it. So select it and on the right side you can enable auto play if you want this sequence to play when you press the play button and you can change the play

rate for example 0.5 to be uh 50% slower. So if I hit play it's on my

slower. So if I hit play it's on my other screen so you can see it here.

This is how our scene looks like.

And this is it guys. Uh if you find this video helpful let me know in the comments below. And if you want to

comments below. And if you want to export your video, I will create a new video about that because it's a little bit peculiar. So, uh it will be up here.

bit peculiar. So, uh it will be up here.

If it doesn't show up, this means that you are too early. And if you see this video, click on it. And uh see you there.
