How To Go Live On TikTok Like A PRO!

here's how to go live on Tik Tok like a pro in this video we'll share a complete Tik Tok live streaming tutorial including everything from how to use Tik Tok for basic live streams to more

advanced tools you can use to level up your Tik Tok streaming hey I'm that British girl Jordana Grace and I've been Tik tocking for a while although my mom does refer to it as the Tic Tac but

regardless I know it can seem a bit overwhelming but in this video we'll show you how going live on Tik Tok is actually pretty simple once you know how and just as easy to get your live streams looking Pro I mean if I can do

it anyone can so stick to the end and we'll share some tips and tricks to maximize your live views booster quality and how to go live using more professional gear too now there's only a

few requirements to go live on Tik Tok you got to be over 18 years old which is fine for me but it doesn't matter how old you are to watch a live and at the time of filming this video you need at least 1,000 followers and remember Tik

Tok live should be about promoting fun and safe environments so you need to follow Tik tok's community guidelines and terms of service otherwise you could find yourself banned but don't worry the process on Android and iOS is exactly

the same first thing you need to do is obviously click into the Tik Tok app and at the bottom of the screen in the middle is going to be a plus button we're going to click onto there and depending on what region you're in or

what update you have on Tik Tok it may vary you just want to slide across until you see live and now we're in the live screen and you have everything on screen

here to help you set up and get ready for your live so take a moment and just get yourself ready you know you want to set up all your settings and any filters you want there's no rush because once you're set up and in your live you'll

feel really good that You' got yourself set up first so the first thing I want to do is tell people what this Live's about so for example I'm going to add in

how to go live on Tik Tok you can only have a certain amount of characters here so keep it short and snappy maybe even a little bit clickbaity so people are like ooh what's this live about you can also change your thumb nail icon now it's

good to have a picture of yourself or something that people will recognize so people can see your icon and go o that British girl is live I'm going to click and see what you're doing so you can go in and you can select from library or

you can take a photo I'm wearing this great jacket so let's take a photo beautiful so there we go I've told people what I'm going to talk about I've changed my icon photo and now on this side of the screen you can choose the

topic this is a great feature because not only can It give you content ideas but it's going to tell your audience what you're talking about and why they should tune in because lives are also great for getting new followers so you

can talk about nothing you can talk about Fitness and sports gaming diy beauty and fashion but I'm going to click on chat and interview because that's what my life is going to be about I like to do chat so I can talk to my

audience and on this side of the screen we have ADD aive goal now this is a feature that I tend to use a lot but some people do because it is a way that you can monetize so if we click into here add a live goal Tik Tok says on the

screen adding live goals consistently can help you with receive 40% more gifts more gifts more monetization more money and so for example if you go to manage your goal it can show you all the

different types of gifts that you would like to receive and you can be on your live for as long as possible it is to hit that goal so it's a great way that you can monetize your lives so at the bottom of the screen here we have all

our settings to get ourselves ready for an amazing Tik Tok live on this button right here we can flip the camera so you can see oh look there's my teleprompter screen right there we're going to flip it back now this next feature dual

camera is actually really interesting cuz if you click that not only am I going to go live you can see what's behind me so if you're having an interview or if you're walking about by the beach and you want to show where you

are this is a great feature and you can also have it as a circle and you can move it around isn't that great look I can have one as an eye patch isn't that beautiful but I'm going to take that feature off for the moment okay and in

the middle you have enhance as we all know you can smooth out your face you can change your face shape and your eyes everything to your face I don't tend to do that because I like to look like me

but each their own and also at the bottom you have filters so you can have portrait you can have all these different types of features it's just another addition to change up your lives but I'm not going to have any filters or

anything on and this button here is the effects now this can be a very interesting feature because not only can you hop onto new trends but if you go over to Green Screen green screen is one

of the most popular effects on Tik Tok for example if I click the picture screen can choose an image that I want to talk about in my life so that can be really interesting when people are scrolling through Tik Tok they see you

they see the image behind you they're like oh what are they talking about so it can be a great way to engage your audience but I'm going to take that off for the moment so we just keep this really simple now this button is settings now this is going to be very

important to have a look through so you've got all your settings here and again it may be different depending on the region that you're in but at the top you can click moderators so I've got Justin Brown there is one of my

moderators and it's really handy to have moderators in because when you're on a live and answering loads of questions if you get something that's a bit inappropriate it can be overwhelming to talk to people and moderate comments at

the same time so if you know friends or family or people that follow you that you really trust you can add them as a moderator and they can help moderate your life so this is one place we can add moderators or change them up so I

can add moderators here and then if you have any questions you just click the little question mark icon it can tell you more about moderators there so there's moderator ators and in the About Me section this is a really nice part to

have because I just put in that British girl living in Australia so when you start your live this bio will come up at the bottom of the screen so people know who you are a little bit about you so you can toggle on and off to show an

intro of yourself on your live so I'm going to keep that on and more settings you can also support a nonprofit and I think at the time of filming this video it has to be ones that Tik Tok supports I don't think you can add a new one in

and you also have audience controls now I would use this to limit your live if you're going to be talking about something that should be only heard by people over the age of 18 so you can toggle that on and off but if your live

like mine is PG rated that'll be fine you also have captions that will autoc caption your live when you're talking you can also toggle live gifts which is perfect if you want to monetize your live and receive gifts from your

followers you also have rankings so this has allow your username activity information to be shown on live Creator rankings this switch does not apply to live campaigns so that's just a little

extra there you have comment settings where you can allow comments you can do a live without having any comments but I like to interact with my audience because it's a chat topic so I toggle that on I do have filter comments on so

if there are potentially unkind comments I have toggled that so they don't get shown or Community flag comments things that don't follow the community guidelines I'll also toggle that on as well and I'm going to toggle review

Community flagged comments just in case it got flagged but it was it there was no need to I can also block keywords so I have put some words in there that I shouldn't shown on screen but some Choice wear words that will get blocked

automatically and then you can also mute the duration of your live there's also the share button so you can share this to your friends and family so they can follow along as well you can also share it on different social media platforms

so that is really helpful you also have the live Center and if you go into here it's just going to give you more information about how to go live there is a live Academy with lots of tutorials so I would check that out you also have the subscription button which talks

about how to get subscribers and what that's all about but I'm going to be honest with you that's a completely different video so I'm not going to go into that now you also have business you can add products or series that you can

promote during the live and finally you have promote which you pay yourself to promote your live so more people will see it and now we're ready to go live and as a final check I've got my click baity title so people know what I'm

talking about they got my picture so they know that it's me beautiful me and they also know that it's a chat and interview so they know what they got themselves in for and now we're ready to

go live in three two one Don't Panic it's going to be fine okay so right now Tik Tok is alerting all my followers that I'm going live and also even if you don't follow me it's still

going to come up in the live section so you can see and at the bottom it says welcome to Tik Tok live have fun interacting with the viewers in Real Time creators must be 18 or older to go live viewers must be 18 or older to

recharge and send gifts remember to create safe viewing experience by following our community guidelines so right here it has that bio that we just talked about where I've just said I'm that British girl living in Australia

so that's come up at the beginning because I pressed that toggle and Tik Tok is saying here we're notifying viewers that you're live so at the top of the screen it's going to show how many people are tuning into my live that's really important to keep note of

and at the top here is going to show the like count of how many likes I receive throughout doing this live and right here it's going to show all my gifts and again this may be different depending what region and what setting that you have on your Tik Tok and my friends and

followers are tuning in you can see the live count at the top and the likes at zero at the moment but I'm sure that will change and at the bottom let's talk about you can have hosts and guests so if I click the host button you can

co-host other creators so not only can I send out a quick invite to invite people to join my live also it shows people that I've spoken to before and I can invite them I can co-host with me and

the screen will change I can also have guests on my live so because I've chosen chat and interview as a topic it's actually a really good idea to invite different people because then you get your audience and Their audience

combined it's a great way to meet new people so hi everyone thank you so much for tuning in and already we've got over 250 likes which is brilliant and people will start chatting below and ask me questions and at the bottom of the

screen you still have so many of the same options you had on the screen before like business subscribers share button enhance hi everybody thank you oh thanks Justin I am doing so awesome

especially in this jacket and if you click the three dots at the bottom you still have so many of the options that you had before you can flip the camera you can see all the comments there you can check your gifts and subscriptions

tools and your settings where you can add moderators so you still have so many options while you're live to change your life and Tik Tok will also send you updates for example I just said you can pin a comment now tap a comment to pin

and moderators can do that too so choosing your moderators is quite key because they can actually help a lot with your life also I've just received some gifts so people have been a number

one gifter they get a badge someone sent me a rose and you'll see like hearts and stuff come up the screen having Liv is actually really fun to interact with people and I really like it so what we're going to do now is that we've had

our live and we're going to end it by pressing this button right here so when you've got the screen it says end live it tells you how many people are watching how many new subscribers you have you can switch to a

sub only live which could be a nice benefit to end a live to have a sub only subscribers but again that's a whole another video and I'm going to go to end now so now the live has ended you're in a really interesting screen and this is

your analytic so basically just gives you an overview of your live so it shows you how many viewers um tuned in it shows me the diamondss the gifters how many likes it shows me the top viewers

live creators that I may want to follow and just Tik Tok will keep on updating the screen to keep on encouraging you to be a better Creator so again this may change how it looks but I would have a look at it to see what kind of videos

and tutorials that they have and they also have the replay function which I really like because not only can you download it to put on your socials later as a little bit of a teaser of this is what it's like when I go live you should

check out my next live and also great content to have you can actually watch the replay and see what you did really well what you didn't do well what was the lighting like how was the audio so then you can keep on proving as a

Creator so you can Auto download your replay you can edit it you can delete it if you like but in this live replay screen you can see all the lives that you've done recently and this will update every now and then so when you've

done your live I'd recommend downloading it there and then because it may disappear after a few months and that's your live analytics Tik Tok is also testing Tik Tok live studio which is is really exciting because that means that

you can go live from your desktop which just gives so many more options and it's their official tool with built-in analytics tipping and loads of Tik Tok functions however it's only available on

Windows right now sorry Mac uses and it's more of a gaming focus at the moment but it's really cool to see Tik Tok is going this way and I'm looking forward to seeing how they develop it and for those of you who want to get more Pro with your live streams and go

to the next level we'll hold on because this is really cool you can also go live using tools like YOLO live instream I mean I know it looks like some giant Gadget from the'80s but it lets you

connect with Pro cameras and you can add titles and Graphics all while you're live on Tik Tok so it's pretty cool and it's currently selling for around about $1,000 so not on the cheaper side of

things but if you are really looking to go pro and level up your live streams using real cameras this is a great option as we said earlier in the video here are some top tips to increase engagement on your lives number one go

live when your followers are most active because then you're most likely going to get more people tuning into your lives and you can check that out on your Tik Tok analytics and I'll show you when your followers are most active on Tik Tok also plan your lives ahead of time

if you go into the Tik Tok app you can actually create here as shown on screen an event so people know when you're going live and it'll show up on your profile number two review your analytics this helps build visibility on the

platform and gain more followers and create Better Lives for your community you can review which lives got the most likes your biggest follow account which ones got the least and you can compare what the lighting was like was a good

Wi-Fi review what did and didn't work and if you download the replay you can also share that on your social media number three content if you're struggling to think of ideas of what to talk about my recommendation is is just

think about what's trending at the moment what recent movies are come out what arts and crafts projects do you like you could do an interview or co-host with someone else so you can have that banter back and forth I

wouldn't try and worry too much about scriptwriting an entire conversation for a live just chop down some bullet points to to keep yourself on track and while you're doing the live because people are

commenting and always communicating with you the live will actually move a lot smoother than you think so try not to worry too much about what you're going to speak on content you can just pick a trending idea make a few bullet points
