How to Use Interview Coder

By Cluely

Summary

## Key takeaways - **Download and Install Stealthily**: Download the correct version for your hardware, move it to applications, and open via Spotlight search. Give it screen recording permissions, then sign in with Google. [00:00], [00:33] - **Subscribe for Undetectability Check**: Subscribe using the email link or same account; it registers instantly and shows the product page. You can see it on your screen but not on Zoom, confirming undetectability. [00:22], [01:14] - **Screenshot Problems with Cmd+H**: On a problem page like on Tu some, use command H to take up to five screenshots for long problems. Then command enter to extract the problem statement and generate solution code. [01:39], [02:14] - **Overlay Solution Transparently**: Verify the problem statement with the translucent, movable overlay over your code editor. Toggle visibility with command R to reset if needed, without affecting your active tab or cursor. [02:02], [02:46] - **Read-Aloud Thoughts and Comments**: Solutions include short thoughts to read out loud to the interviewer and line-by-line comments with time and space complexity for deeper understanding. [02:35], [03:09] - **Fully Undetectable Across Platforms**: It's undetectable the entire time, even when toggling, and works on browser-based software like HackerRank and CodeSignal. okay I'm sharing my entire screen and I'm going to show you guys how to use interview coder so once you download the correct version for your software or for your for your uh Hardware you're going to want to move it to your applications

I have to replace it cuz obviously I already have a copy um and once it's set to your applications you can open it using your Spotlight search or whatever um you will have to give it screen recording permissions I already gave it

screen recording permissions but once you do that you can sign in with Google I've already signed in and then you're going to want to subscribe at this point you can already tell whether it's going to be uh undetectable you can see that you can see it on this screen but you

can't see it on my zoom um and at this point you can either use the email link uh we gave you or you can just separately sign into the same account and once you sign into the same account

then you can subscribe um I think uh this should work yeah okay uh that's not going to work for you guys so don't try um once you do subscribe uh as soon as it registers that you're subscribed it

will update the the the thing so you won't see this anymore you'll see a little thing that is the actual product page um and at this point you can quit

at any time using command Q uh so yeah as you can see it immediately spawned in and it defaults your language to python but you can set it JavaScript Java or any of the languages that we have and you'll also notice that we have these 50

credits so each problem solved counts as a credit and you're defaulted to 50 credits you can purchase 10 more 50 credits for $10 or you can just wait for another building cycle um now let's go to an actual problem page so if you go

to like something like Tu some the way this works is and again you'll see that the the you you can see the you can see the interview coder window here but you can't see anything on the screen even if I move it around the way this works is uh anytime you see a problem on the page

you're going to command H to take a screenshot um you can scroll down and take another screenshot you can take up to five screenshots for like in case that there's like a really long problem or something and once you do command enter it'll start extracting the problem

statement and then it'll start generating the solution code so for one really cool thing that we have is a translucent overlay and also the movability so what this is able to do well first of all you're able to verify

that the problem statement is correct at this point and then you can command R and reset if it's not um but because we have a translucent overlay that's movable we can have our solution code right over our actual code overlay

another thing we have is we can make the toggle like the um toggling of visibility is does not affect your active tab or your cursor so I can just

keep coding and I can just keep coding hide it keep coding hide it and then my my cursor is not going to be changed at all so whether you're toggling it um it they can't actually detect that you're toggling anything um so this actual

solution comes with some thoughts that you can read out loud um these are literally just thoughts that you can read out loud to the interviewer um these are designed to be short and quick so you can understand them on the Fly um and then this solution comes with uh

comments that come over every single line of code uh it also comes with time and space complexity and these these comments are designed for you to like have like a more in-depth understanding of the solution um if at any point there's uh something that's wrong or you

just want to start over just command R and then and your right back to scratch as you can see the entire time you weren't able to see it on the screen so it is fully undetectable um and it's undetectable to any browser based

software we've had many people use it on things like hacker R code signals uh this is pretty much undetectable for everything uh okay that's it
