I didn't immediately decide which city to live in.

I didn't know which city was more suitable for me.

So I searched online every day

and looked around, and finally I decided

I should live in the current city.

which is Tengchong, Yunnan.

I chose Tengchong in Yunnan

there are actually four reasons.

Actually, there are many reasons.

The first and most important reason is that

I am from the southwest.

The southwest is in the southwest of China.

Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Chongqing.

So in these four regions,

have very rich minority cultures.

so I'm actually very interested in minority cultures.

In Yunnan, there are many ethnic groups living here.

and many ethnic minorities.

There may be more than ten

and twenty or so ethnic minorities.

Bai, Yi, and Wa.

Each ethnic group has its own language,

different lifestyles,

So this is very attractive to me.

The second reason is that

the living pressure in Yunnan is much smaller.

Compared to Shanghai,

the cost of living in Yunnan is really cheap.

and I don't have to work overtime every day.

Most importantly,

I can do my current job online.

Since I can work online,

why not choose a city with less pressure

and cheaper city?

The third reason

If you live in China for a while,

in the southern part of China,

there is no heating.

In winter, if you feel cold,

you can only use an electric heater

or air conditioners.

So actually in the south, um,

it's quite miserable in winter.

I think it's quite cold in winter.

When I was in Dalian,

it was cold in winter,

but because of the heating,

we were actually very comfortable at home.

But whether in Shanghai

or in Guizhou,

I have a hard time in winter.

It's very hard to get up every morning.

Once dressed, I don't want to take them off.

Every day,

I can only stay by the electric heater.

Even going to the bathroom, I feel very cold.

I also feel very cold when cooking in the kitchen.

So it's very difficult in winter.

But in Yunnan,

the average temperature in winter is around twenty degrees.

Over twenty degrees, fifteen to twenty degrees.

So actually for me,

winter in Yunnan is very warm.

Here, I don't need air conditioning

or an electric heater.

I just need to wear an extra coat.

Um.

So I think the weather here is also very attractive to me.

The last reason is

and it's also important to my family.

It's because Yunnan is very close to my home.

Compared to Dalian,

I used to fly from Dalian to go home.

The flight time was six hours.

Plus the time I went to the airport,

and my parents picking me up at the airport,

It may take me a whole day to go home.

maybe ten hours,

nine hours,

or about ten hours.

But Yunnan is very close to my home.

So taking the high-speed rail, um,

Although I have to transfer once,

but the places where high-speed rail can reach are not far.

So it's very convenient for my parents.

and it's convenient for me.

Now I live in Tengchong, Yunnan.

Tengchong is a very small city.

I once checked that

the population of Tengchong city

is even smaller than that of my parents' community.

So there aren't many people here.

but the natural environment is very good.

There are mountains here.

I rented a house.

a house with a view of the mountains.

So every morning when I wake up,

there are also many hot springs.

Hot springs come from the mountains and underground.

I remember when I lived by the sea in Dalian,

I rarely heard the sound of birds in the morning.

But now in the city where I live,

I can hear birds singing every morning.

So for me,

this is a very nice sound.

The air here is very fresh.

because of the trees

and forests, so the air is very fresh.

And because of the volcanic soil,

so the vegetables here are also very fresh

and delicious.

Plants grow very fast here,

so there are always fresh vegetables and fruits.

And I especially like the coffee here.

is the earliest place in China to grow coffee beans.

so the coffee here

is very cheap.

I don't know its quality.

compared to other places.

But the price is very cheap.

So I'm very satisfied.

Another thing is that

so the culture of ethnic minorities

and festivals are very rich.

because the city is small,

So I haven't made any new friends here.

So I buy less things online now.

everyone has a different preference for environment.

while others prefer to live in the city center.

They enjoy a lot of social life

and enjoy the convenience of life.

But some people just like to live in less populated areas.

with more nature,

and quieter and more comfortable.

So I might prefer to live in a quiet place

and quiet places.
