In today's video, I'm challenging myself to build an AI powered drop shipping store and scale it up to $1,000 a day in less than 7 days with only $500 as my

starting budget. What used to take weeks

here a little longer than I would like.

>> All right, so now that we have pretty much everything set up, we have to move on to the next step, which is finding that golden product. And if you're wondering how I'm going to do this, yep,

that's right, you guessed it. Social

media, baby. I'm gonna sit down and I'm gonna start scrolling through Instagram and Tik Tok. And even though we already have some great products loaded onto the store thanks to AI, I'm going to do my own due diligence and put my own spin on

this challenge. And I've recruited my

this challenge. And I've recruited my little helper for this part because she's a beast at social media.

>> I do it anyway. Like, I scroll TikTok all day, so it won't be anything unusual. Now, we're not looking for just

unusual. Now, we're not looking for just any random product. We're looking for a product with clear emotional pull, visual wow factor, and at least a $30 plus average order value. Most people

just scroll endlessly, but we're looking for pattern recognition. [laughter]

By the way, all we did to have an endless stream of winning drop shipping products coming up on our feeds was number one, make a new Tik Tok account.

Number two, scroll until we find an ad.

Number three, engage with the ads to show the algorithm that we want to be served up more winning ads. And then we also ended up sifting through some hashtags like Tik Tok shop, Tik Tok made

me buy it, Amazon [music] besties, and we just got an endless amount of viral products on a silver platter. Every time

I found a product that ticked these boxes, I also took it a step further by heading over to the meta ads library and stalking my competition. You see, if other people are running active ads for

more than a few weeks, then that essentially means that they're making money and I'm pretty sure we can do the same. Okay, I think we've just found the

same. Okay, I think we've just found the product and now it's time for a little due diligence.

>> All right, so I'm just pulling up a couple of the products that we found right now and I'm lowkey feeling kind of embarrassed because she found three out of the four products. But anyways,

here's the first one. It's basically

this camera that straps onto the back of your phone and then you can see yourself while you're actually recording with the back camera, which is actually really useful for a lot of creators because a lot of the time like you want to film

with a better quality on your iPhone.

>> Exactly.

>> We both know I mean she's like the ideal target market for this product. So

>> definitely a hungry market for it. A

great problem solving product. All

right, so on to the next product. You

want to explain this one?

>> Sure. So, you know how you go to the gym and then you need to lift weight and then you have all of these like kind of like burning like white like marks? This

will solve the problem. You won't your hand won't look like a hand of a man basically. And

basically. And >> well, I think it's also cuz of your nails too. This one she has really long

nails too. This one she has really long nails.

>> You know how you have all of like these >> the calluses? Yeah.

>> So, it protects like >> Okay. But it probably makes it easier to

So I actually saw so many videos on Tik Tok of these glowing orbs with all different kinds of stuff inside of it.

And this is the exact type of [ __ ] that people are buying all the time as gifts over the holiday season.

>> So, literally the perfect product over the next few months. Definitely going to do a little bit more research into this one. And then the last product here we

one. And then the last product here we have is this really cool cooking gadget which actually makes like rolled ice cream very easily, which is a super trendy dessert.

>> Yeah. Like you can literally only get [music] it in a specific like stores and here you can just make it at home. I

actually never seen anything like that before and I think it's really cool.

like if you should order one, too.

>> Couple of really solid options here, now we got some real work to do.

All right, guys. So, after a lot of back and forth with the misses, I finally got my way and selected this product. So,

this is a variation of those glowing orbs that I was showing you, and I found them trending like crazy on Etsy. Again,

due to the seasonality of a product like this, I think it's going to go crazy over the next couple of months. So,

[music] I'm really looking forward to seeing if we can actually run this beyond just the one week of the challenge as well. But basically, it's the same concept. So, [music] a glowing orb essentially, but you can actually import any image you want. So, it makes

it super sentimental and a great gift over the holidays. I've sold products very similar to this before. So, I feel like I have a really strong idea on how to market for this. And I feel like I just genuinely couldn't have found a

better product for this challenge.

[music] I'm yet to get a quote on the price of the product, but judging by the Etsy listings and with the supplier that I have, I know that I'm going to be able to get this product for [music] super cheap. To recap on why I think this is

cheap. To recap on why I think this is going to do so well, high perceived value because it's kind of a tech product. It has that wow factor and I

product. It has that wow factor and I feel like there's so many different ways to creatively [music] shoot and market it in ads. The AOV will certainly be over $30. And also, the product is super

over $30. And also, the product is super small, so it's very cheap and light, [music] which makes it easy for shipping. And so now that we've settled

shipping. And so now that we've settled on the product for the challenge, I would normally say that it's time to go and start reaching out to a bunch of different suppliers and finding the best price possible. But genuinely guys, in

All right, so pretty much done with the store layout. Now, I'm just going to

store layout. Now, I'm just going to show you on mobile real quick because that's how 90% of people will actually be accessing the store. So, here you can see a few really highquality images of the product. And we just grab these

the product. And we just grab these straight from AutoDS. Okay, now we could take things to the next level after we get a few sales and start having AI create a bunch of different images for us. But for now, these are perfect. I've

lazy. So, I took the AI videos and also a couple of other videos and I combined it together. It basically all the same,

it together. It basically all the same, just different hooks. So, we can have a lot of like different variations.

>> Okay. Yeah, a lot of them look similar, but just Why don't you click on the first couple and just show us?

>> Yeah, I'll just show you the example of like a couple.

these ads. Now, I'm going to test Meta, but I'm also going to test Tik Tok ads for this product. The reason for that is, well, Facebook ads are still king, and they've been the most consistent for me over the years with every [music]

drop shipping product. But Tik Tok ads on certain products, especially products like this over the holiday season that are quite low ticket, they can sometimes really pop off. And not only that, but

Tik Tok Ads actually partnered with me to give you guys an exclusive deal, and we're going to use that deal ourselves, too. But basically, when you spend money

too. But basically, when you spend money on Tik Tok ads, they'll match the amount that you spend and give it to you in ad credits. So, if you spend $100, you'll

credits. So, if you spend $100, you'll get another $100 to spend. So, you can basically spend twice as much out the gate as your competitors, which I feel like should ensure us profitability with

this product, this store, and these ads.

All right, so it's day two. Starting to

record a little bit later than I would have liked today because honestly the results just they haven't really been there. And you know, I I feel a little

there. And you know, I I feel a little bit ashamed because like I just been doing this stuff for so long, man. I

really thought that I'd be able to crack this right off the bat and show you guys all just how easy it is. But I guess the truth of the matter is, you know,

nothing worth having is ever easy. And

if it is easy, then everyone would do it. Everybody would be ecom

it. Everybody would be ecom millionaires, right? So although I've

millionaires, right? So although I've had all the success over all these years, it it's really making me reflect on the fact that I'm not invincible. You

know, I fail over and over again, and that's what's got me to where I am so far in my career. But beyond that, I mean, there there there's something wrong with the results. Like not only do

we have $0 in sales, but the ads are so expensive. So, I'm going to pull up the

expensive. So, I'm going to pull up the ads manager so I can show you guys.

Basically, right now, I've had to go ahead and power them off because we were just blowing through our budget. We

already burned $75 and we're getting an $8 cost per click, which basically means that we're spending $8 to get one single person to click on our ad. The CPM is

$92, which is just ridiculously high.

And on Tik Tok, we've burned through $51 already. CPC is much lower. It's 20

already. CPC is much lower. It's 20

cents, but the traffic quality is just so low. I mean, we don't even have a

so low. I mean, we don't even have a single ad to cart on the Shopify yet.

So, I don't know. We're we're in a tricky spot right now. I've gone ahead and powered off the ads for the rest of today because I have to be very careful of this budget. But by the end of the night tonight, I'm going to relaunch

because I really believe that we can make it with this product and we won't have to pivot. I don't know. I got to I got to go to the gym or something.

D-stress because Honestly, this challenge is taking a more of a toll on me than I thought that it would. All

right, guys. Full 360. You literally

cannot make this [ __ ] up. I was just sitting right out there on my balcony contemplating what to actually do with this challenge since things really aren't going my way. And boom, what do

you know? An order rolls through on the

you know? An order rolls through on the Shopify store for $127. [music]

And just to show you guys this is legit, here's the order that came in. $127

right when I thought we were losing hope. And I mean, I wasn't going to give

hope. And I mean, I wasn't going to give up. It's just like I really didn't want

up. It's just like I really didn't want to have to go through this whole process again. And I had so much conviction in

again. And I had so much conviction in the product. But yeah, first sale in the

the product. But yeah, first sale in the books and this guy picked up the damn triple pack. So, he bought three of

triple pack. So, he bought three of these things. Now, we're probably still

these things. Now, we're probably still not profitable yet after product costs and the marketing costs that we've already been spending on both Facebook ads and Tik Tok ads, but we are one step

closer to our goal of hitting $1,000 a day. and step five on this list. So,

that's given me some good momentum. I'm

gonna hit the gym with a smile on my face now and I'll keep these updates rolling for you guys throughout the rest of the day and the rest of the challenge. All right, so it's getting

challenge. All right, so it's getting pretty late. We're heading off to a

pretty late. We're heading off to a dinner with my family. Unfortunately, no

more sales rolled in yet for the rest of the day, but I'm not going to let myself get too down about it because we did get that one big sale earlier. So, what

we're going to do for tomorrow, assuming no more sales roll in, is we're just going to keep the budget the same. So,

$150 on Facebook and again $50 on Tik Tok. And and let's hope for a couple

Tok. And and let's hope for a couple sales tomorrow. And even though we're

sales tomorrow. And even though we're not profitable yet, I feel like so far this video is just a testament to how easily you can get started today with

all the AI tools available. You know,

back in the day when I first started with this [ __ ] man, it took me so many weeks just to figure out how to launch a store. And now you can do it in minutes.

You can have all your ad creatives done.

It took me literally a couple of hours and everything was set in place. And we

already made a little bit of revenue today. Now, of course, it's not the

today. Now, of course, it's not the easiest thing in the world to continue to scale your store and be successful, but my point here is that a lot of you guys probably still haven't even started

your first store yet. And sometimes all it takes is just sitting down for a couple of hours, taking action, and giving it a shot. And from there, just continually problem solving until one

day you do make it.

All right, guys. It's day three. This is

really bad. Like $127 from that one order. It says two orders just because I

order. It says two orders just because I put a draft order through to make sure everything was working. 1,200 sessions

between the Facebook and the Tik Tok ads and all we've got is that one order. So

I I just I I'm not the type to give up and hang in the towel and we're going to turn this around. Like I believe in myself and I believe in this video and the message that I'm trying to get across on my channel right now. So what

I'm going to do is I'm going to get back to work. I'm going to spend more time

to work. I'm going to spend more time picking out a product, repeat the process, and relaunch tomorrow on the same store, different landing page, different product. All right, guys. So,

different product. All right, guys. So,

I decided to go for a completely new product because we need a quick win.

We're lowkey kind of down bad on this challenge right now. And Edin told me about these pants that were going absolutely viral. They're called barrel

absolutely viral. They're called barrel pants or something like that. But

basically, girls are buying these things all over Facebook and Tik Tok right now.

So, what did I do? I went over to the meta ads library once again and I started looking at all of these active ads that are killing it with these pants. Now, this is from a brand called

pants. Now, this is from a brand called Threads, but basically what I've done here is I've just gone ahead and saved all the videos so I can get the transcripts and use chat GPT to come up with different AI video ads that we can

plug into Arcads. Once again, pretty much following the exact same process that we did before, you can now see I'm just quickly setting up these new ads inside of the ads manager, and this is how they're looking. Now, because it's

based on a proven concept, yet again, I have a lot of conviction around this product. So hopefully this time my

product. So hopefully this time my spidey senses aren't off and we indeed can hit a winning product. Now in terms of the landing page, yet again I did have ChatGpt do most [music] of the work

for me. I created some different

for me. I created some different comparable tables using AI and I added in some of the clips that we're using in the ads onto the website as gifts and videos and pictures as well. So now that

everything's set up, here's how the landing page looks. Again, a very similar structure to the previous product, but this time for these high-waisted barrel pants, which I really, really hope we can get some sales on. For the ads themselves, I'm

sales on. For the ads themselves, I'm going to go ahead and launch them at midnight, and we'll hope for some better results moving into day four.

Check this out, guys. Three sales today so far. So, the changes that we made

so far. So, the changes that we made yesterday have been working. As you can see, I think this is about $170 something dollars for the day. I would

be more energetic and I would have given you guys more updates. But I was literally dying today. I did tennis and boxing, so I was out all day just brutally beating up my body. But I saved the notifications of the sales that came

through because I knew I had to show you guys today. It's getting pretty late

guys today. It's getting pretty late now. It's about 8:00 p.m. So, I'm not

now. It's about 8:00 p.m. So, I'm not expecting any more sales to roll in for the day. I believe we've spent about

the day. I believe we've spent about $120 so far today. So, we might be hovering right around that break even point. And this is an exciting point

point. And this is an exciting point because now I can dig into the data, make a few more little tweaks and optimizations. Hopefully, we'll get a

optimizations. Hopefully, we'll get a cheaper CPM, slightly cheaper cost per click tomorrow, and we'll see even better results. So, things are starting

better results. So, things are starting to look up now for the challenge after we've made that product pivot, which was absolutely huge. And we are one step

absolutely huge. And we are one step closer to our goal of printing and making $1,000 a day. It's 1:00 a.m.

Little late here, but we not done because another order rolled in at 900 p.m. I was [music] out. It's been a

p.m. I was [music] out. It's been a hectic day. Let's review the sales up on

hectic day. Let's review the sales up on the dashboard. $228. So, I believe this

the dashboard. $228. So, I believe this is actually our first profitable day of the challenge, which is crazy. I'll run

all the numbers later, but I'm pretty sure we're in the green today. Boom.

Another three item sale for a total of $50 came in yesterday at 9:25 p.m. So

yeah, in total for the challenge right now, we're sitting at $356 [music] in sales so far. Now, overall,

we're still not in the green yet, but today we were profitable. So yeah, we're still going to be over budget if we start spending a lot more tomorrow. So

we'll keep the ads the same. We'll hope

for another green day, and then we'll reinvest some of that profit back to the next day [music] in the challenge. And

then if all goes according to plan, we'll reinvest the money that we've made from today and tomorrow back into the following day so we can spend more and hopefully make more.

Peep the results today. $27 on the dashboard. Pretty similar to yesterday

knows? Maybe we can get another late sale or two in before the end of the day. But today, we've actually spent

day. But today, we've actually spent less money on ads because we turned off Tik Tok ads and we've only spent $80 so far today. the cost per click has been a

far today. the cost per click has been a lot better on Tik Tok ads. So, you know what that means? The profit that we're generating from today and yesterday. We

can roll that into how much we're going to spend tomorrow. So, I'll keep you guys updated, but I think tomorrow is going to be our first big day. And then

hopefully the day after that, I believe we can get to $1,000 a day.

All right, guys. So, it's day six of the challenge now, and you already know we eating good. Yesterday we had a total of

eating good. Yesterday we had a total of $257 in sales, which by the way, we only ended up spending $17 on ads. So that's

almost a $100 profit yesterday after product cost, which means that today we get to spend a little bit more on ads.

And boom, we're already at $23 for the day so far. So, I'm really hoping that we can take this to over $500 today, take all the profit we've made from the past couple of days, pour

that in tomorrow, and have the biggest day yet. All while keeping the initial

day yet. All while keeping the initial starting budget under $500. And by the way, guys, this just came in the mail for me yesterday. Got this new iPhone 17 Pro Max in this Halloween orange

edition. Pretty cool. But anyways, I'm

All right, guys. So, it's day seven, the final day of the challenge, and I sat down at the workstation this morning and and we just got hit with the worst possible thing that could have happened

to the store. So, check this out.

terminated Lumour due to activity that is not or that we suspect is not a legitimate commerce practice. And when I went over to the Shopify store, it wouldn't even let me sign in. There's a

problem loading this page. Now, I've had a lot of Shopify stores over the years get deactivated for different reasons, but we didn't do anything wrong. So, how

could our store have been shut down? I

copy pasted the email into Chat GPT and I think I figured it out. So, right here it says that a possible issue is identity or business verification issues. Now, if you remember from

issues. Now, if you remember from earlier in the challenge, I had this red bar on my Shopify store every single time that we pulled up the dashboard.

And it's because the Shopify payouts weren't working correctly. I set this store up in such a hurry that I didn't put the correct address and company information. And since we were starting

information. And since we were starting to ramp up in revenue so quickly, Shopify just shut the entire store down.

Now, I'm going to go ahead and put an appeal through. I'm going to talk to

appeal through. I'm going to talk to Shopify support. I'm going to see

Shopify support. I'm going to see everything that I can do to get this store back in live because I can't access it right now. But yesterday, we had the best day of the challenge yet.

Now, for some reason on my new phone, the Shopify notifications weren't coming in. But on my old phone, you can see

in. But on my old phone, you can see yesterday $50, $50, $28, $50, $100. So,

these are all the orders from yesterday.

And adding them all up, we did $55 in revenue on the sixth day. And we

doubled the ad spend today. So, I was hoping to clear that $1,000 day. So,

yeah, I'm going to be spending the next few hours now sending emails, putting through appeals, trying to reach out to the support teams and seeing if we can get this store back. And guys, this is so brutal. I literally said that if I

so brutal. I literally said that if I can't hit $1,000 a day in 7 days, I'll be sending $5,000 out to you guys. And

to make matters worse, all of the money that we've made on the store, Shopify Payments, is holding now. So, if we don't get this back, not only do we lose all the revenue that we generated, we lose all the money that we spent on ads,

and I have to pay $5,000. This challenge

is ending up costing me a fortune. All

right, guys. So, it's almost midnight of the last day of this challenge, which means this is it. This is the finale.

Did we hit $1,000 a day? Did we build a $30,000 a month business in just seven days? Well, no, we didn't. I'm going to

days? Well, no, we didn't. I'm going to go over all the numbers now because I noticed something very interesting at the end of this challenge. And

obviously, I spent the rest of today pulling my hair out because I couldn't get the damn business back. So, on day one of the challenge, guys, we spent no money because we pretty much spent the entire day setting it up. Well, I guess

we spent $1 for the Shopify and AutoDS plan, which by the way, if you want to use the same exclusive partner link that I have, it'll be down below in the description to get Shopify for just a dollar a month. On day two, we spent

$186 on ads. Remember, Facebook ads and Tik Tok ads. We spent $44 on product cost. Our revenue was $127,

cost. Our revenue was $127, giving us a net loss of $102 on just day two. Now remember for day three we made

two. Now remember for day three we made the product pivot and we spent $82.79 on ads uh but $0 on product cost because the first product wasn't performing so

we had to can it and switch. But day

four after the product pivot we had our first break even almost day. We spent

$159. Product cost was $77. Total

revenue was $228 leaving us with8 on the P&L for the day. Day five. Here's

where things got interesting. We spent

$108 on ads. We stopped running Tik Tok ads. Our product cost was $82 [music]

ads. Our product cost was $82 [music] and our revenue was $257, leaving us with a profit of $67. Now,

day six, we dialed up the ad spend and things got even better. We spent $182 on ads. Product cost was $154 and we did

ads. Product cost was $154 and we did $55 in revenue, leaving us with a nice profit of $168 [music] on day six of the challenge.

Now, day seven today, of course, I turned the ads off as soon as the store went down. So, we only spent $39. No

product cost, no revenue, unfortunately.

So, for those of you guys who have automatically calculated everything up in your heads, you're thinking, "Ah, [ __ ] This is not looking too good." And

no, it's not. You know, the total revenue is $1,118 and our total cost was $1,113, leaving us with a grand total profit of

[music] $5.

But here's the thing, guys. By day six, we [music] had a business that made us $160 in basically passive income profit because AI was pretty much doing the whole thing. So, although we didn't

whole thing. So, although we didn't really make any money, we tasted what it felt like to be profitable with drop shipping. And we tasted that [music] on

shipping. And we tasted that [music] on day five with a profit of $67. And after

day five, we tripled that. And in day seven, I believe that we were going to do at least a couple hundred in profit if it weren't for the damn store getting shut down. Total cost of goods was about

shut down. Total cost of goods was about 27% of our revenue if we were to be scaling this brand longer term. That

number would probably come down as well because we'd start hitting minimum order quantity. We'd start ordering in bulk

quantity. We'd start ordering in bulk from our suppliers at AutoDS, thus reducing the unit costs of every single item. And this is just with one product.

Imagine if we started expanding and having upsells, bundles, and cross- sales [music] things that, you know, would take a little bit longer than just seven days to pull off. But we really set ourselves up on a fantastic trajectory for growth

here. And it's such a shame that the

here. And it's such a shame that the challenge had [music] to end this way because today was going to be the biggest freaking day of the whole thing.

But the thing is, guys, I'm not too bummed out about it because I feel like I did really show you what's possible regardless. Not only that, but I will
