I don't think I will ever cover this game ever again. A few days ago, I did a video titled I will never work with this gotacha game ever again. But today,
today I want to bring to your guys' attention probably the worst partnership or almost partnership that I have ever
had. I dodged a bullet with this one,
had. I dodged a bullet with this one, not accepting the sponsorship because this is bad. And let me go ahead here and explain to you exactly why that is.
I am very upset with Bleach Soul Resonance. I'm gonna talk about this
Resonance. I'm gonna talk about this right now because I feel like I need to.
This has been bothering me. The reason
I'm not playing Bleach Soul Resonance anymore, the reason I refuse to play Bleach Soul Resonance anymore, the reason I refuse to in any shape or form
support the game even though I thought it was a decent game. If you navigate or if I navigate on over to my live stream category, you'll see that there are a
lot of greens here. Okay. Monetize,
monetize monetize monetize monetize.
It's all monetized. It's all in the green because [laughter] everything I streamed, everything I stream is either reactions to content from our subreddit, from our Twitter,
from our Discord, or they are me playing a brand new game. As an example, Ark Knight 10field, no problem. Archive
Tenfield, no problem. Streaming Mormons,
playing Sword of Justice, no problem. We
streamed Werewwinds Meat, no problem.
Seven Deadly Since Origin, no problem.
Resident Solstice, no problem. Do Night
Abyss, no problem. Raven 2, no problem.
Chaos Zero Nightmare, no problem. Every
game we stream, we have absolutely no issue. No issue whatsoever. Yeah, you
issue. No issue whatsoever. Yeah, you
saw that, right? You saw that there was a red icon there, right? You saw the red. Yes, there is a red here. There is
red. Yes, there is a red here. There is
a red here. When you click, you will see not only is my Bleach Soul Resonance live stream where all I did was play the
game here. Let me show you. All I did
game here. Let me show you. All I did was just stream the game for 2 hours.
That is it. This This right here, this this got not only demonetized. It's It's
one thing to be demonetized. Okay.
Right. It doesn't happen. I don't get demonetized, but it is one thing to be demonetized. It is one thing to get a
demonetized. It is one thing to get a copyright claim when you can still have the video live, but in this instance
right here, the video was completely removed. It has been blocked worldwide.
removed. It has been blocked worldwide.
Not a single person anywhere other than me because I'm the uploader can actually watch it. Copyrighted by who? Copyright
watch it. Copyrighted by who? Copyright
uh protected content found. No one will be able to watch your video. So, this
stream got about 2,000 views. There were
like 150 people watching. And then it proceeded to over the next like day or two get an additional 2 to 3,000 views cuz everyone was tuning in cuz they were
curious to see the game, right? They're
curious to see my thoughts on the game.
This was a video that I was going to cut up and then upload to YouTube as a video to showcase it. So, it was copyrighted.
It is not a copyright strike. It is a complete inability for anyone to watch.
It is completely blocked worldwide. And
the reason for that chat was a few second clip. A few second clip in the
second clip. A few second clip in the game. When you click see details, you
game. When you click see details, you will see it was 12 seconds. It was 12
seconds of the video. 2 hours 6 minutes.
8 minutes 53 into the video until 9 minutes05. 12 seconds caused them to
minutes05. 12 seconds caused them to remove my video and my stream entirely.
Now, where is that? 8:53. So, that's
right here. That's right here. So, what
essentially happened was Ichigo, right?
This is when he uh like gained his soul reaper power and from Rukia and he activated it. That was it. That's it.
activated it. That was it. That's it.
That song in the background right there.
that that few seconds that was taken from the anime. That right there, that couple seconds. How is that a copyright
couple seconds. How is that a copyright that I mean that apparently? Okay, so
hear me out. Hear me out. The reason I got copyright struck here is because the Bleach so Resonant Studio don't actually have the the copyrights themselves to
the music. If they did, you would be
the music. If they did, you would be able to upload your raw gameplay to YouTube without having your video blocked worldwide. Yo, I don't mean to
blocked worldwide. Yo, I don't mean to interrupt the video, but I need to take a moment here to thank all my incredible patrons over on Patreon whose support
continues to allow for me to do regular videos like this every single day on this channel. Thank y'all so much,
this channel. Thank y'all so much, including our YouTube channel members.
You guys mean the world to me. out of
you guys as viewers as well. Now,
without further ado, let's continue. So,
they do not have ownership or uh the copyright to distribute the music in the game. Not only that, but there are, you
game. Not only that, but there are, you know, there are certain scenes in the game that are taken from the anime.
There there are, you know, voice lines, other songs. These are all things that
other songs. These are all things that can get your video completely removed, completely blocked, completely taken down. It is the music. It was it was
down. It is the music. It was it was that 12 second window of music because they do not have the rights to use the music themselves apparently and
distribute it on on you know YouTube. So
if you try to if you if if if that music is played in any form then you are immediately your video is immediately removed. Unfortunately that is what
removed. Unfortunately that is what happened. I played their game. I played
happened. I played their game. I played
their game. The stream got almost 5,000 views and then they decided, nope, [ __ ] that guy specifically and it was taken down. That is so disappointing. So, if I
down. That is so disappointing. So, if I can't if I can't stream their game, I mean, if I wanted to do a video on it, I would have to make sure that I can't, you know, use any of the background
music at all. I can't show any of the, you know, the animated cutscenes. I got
to be careful not to use any of the voice lines because any and all of that have the potential carry the potential to get me copyright struck to get the video demonetized and get it blocked worldwide. You walked into a Nintendo
worldwide. You walked into a Nintendo moment. It's a company's fault. It
moment. It's a company's fault. It
really is. The company does not have the right to distribute the music within the game. They should have just not used the
game. They should have just not used the music again because it's not safe to stream. It's not safe to even cover the
stream. It's not safe to even cover the game. And uh I mean that's why I don't
game. And uh I mean that's why I don't think it's a bad game at all, but holy crap. I am never going to touch this
crap. I am never going to touch this with a 100 ft bonkai ever again. Like I
have been burned now. Absolutely burned
from working with the studio and they wanted to sponsor me too for a video. So
I they would have sponsored me and then my video would have been copyright claimed or copyright show or blocked worldwide and which is the video taken down because no one could access it and
then I would have been in breach of their contract so I wouldn't have gotten paid. I am so lucky I dodged a bullet
paid. I am so lucky I dodged a bullet with this chat. Y'all have no idea. I
actually dodged a bullet because if I had went through with that I would have lost the potential for thousands of dollars which is insane. whipping out
his bonkey left, right and center.
[laughter] So that is why I I will not support this game at all. It was like how they have handled this the the release of this game has been terrible. The fact that it
is visibility cannot be seen.
Monetization cannot be monetized. 12
seconds. So if they sponsored you, you would have got a copyright strike and would not have gotten paid. Exactly.
Yeah. Because when you when you sign a contract for a video, you uh in that contract it states the video as made up for like you know 12 months, 18 months
or indefinitely. Therefore, if your
or indefinitely. Therefore, if your video gets copyright struck or copyright claimed or blocked or you know obscured in any capacity, you were in direct
violation of their uh the the agreement.
So then you won't get paid because you were at fault. It's your video. You
should have known better. you should
have just not used that music. You
should have known that that they didn't have the copyright protection there in place. So, you are definitely at fault.
place. So, you are definitely at fault.
And that would have been me. You know, I wouldn't have gotten the I mean, they were offering like 2,000 for a video or 3,000 for a video. So, I would have went in there. I would have dedicated dozens
in there. I would have dedicated dozens of hours, days worth of time and effort and then because I had background music playing at certain points, it would have been blocked. Now, the worst part of
been blocked. Now, the worst part of this is it wasn't blocked immediately. I
actually got the the block notification.
When was this uploaded? When did this go? When did this finish? I got the
go? When did this finish? I got the notification on uh So, we streamed on November 21st. I actually got notified
November 21st. I actually got notified on November 28th. The video had been up a week. The live stream had been up for
a week. The live stream had been up for an entire week, which means that if I did post my sponsored video and it was up for an entire week and then it got taken down a week later and then I let's
just say I re-uploaded the video, it would have gotten no views. So then the the the studio would have been upset with me as well because the video then would have gotten no views. So I would have been in violation of the contract.
My video would have done poorly. Like
there were any number of reasons that they would have used to not pay me what I was owed. Just need to wait to make some money so they can copyright strike it and steal your money. All part of their evil plan. That's just unreal. I
cannot believe that that happened. That
like as I said like you can go through all my streams. They are all green.
Every now and then you'll see a yellow one. Like let's see. Green green green.
one. Like let's see. Green green green.
Okay. So, uh, what was this one? Like,
see this one right here? Right. This one
we got, uh, we use music. I don't know when that was. It was for an upcoming.
It was for Chaos Zero Nightmare. My
Chaos Zero Nightmare one got copyright claimed. Okay. Claimed. But you know
claimed. Okay. Claimed. But you know what? The visibility was not impacted
what? The visibility was not impacted and everyone could still watch it because the video was not blocked. So,
even in the rare instances where the, you know, a copyright uh, claim is made, your video does not get blocked. And
then every now and then, like this one, we're looking at the we're going at Azure Promelia. This one we're looking
Azure Promelia. This one we're looking at the uh the Snowbreak trailer. That
was very not safe for work.
But typically, like there's a lot the vast majority are green, but not with that one. And even in the rare instances
that one. And even in the rare instances where it is copyright claimed, it is never blocked. Never. I I literally have
never blocked. Never. I I literally have not a single blocked video or live stream on my entire channel. But this
one, because they are so [ __ ] cheap, they couldn't even afford to license the the goddamn music. I suffer. I get in trouble. So again, I'm I I dodged a
trouble. So again, I'm I I dodged a freaking bullet by not um you know, accepting that sponsorship. Thank god.
That would have been really bad. I
again, I would have lost a ton of money.
I would have lost a ton of time invest invested into it. That is why I will not support it. That is why that is why I
support it. That is why that is why I will never support them. Damn. I thought
you just didn't like the game. No, I
actually did. I I as we said, I think I gave it like a 6.4 or something. I said
it was quite a bit above average and was a pretty decent game. So, godamn. I I
will not even bother to give that game coverage. I was going to do a video on
coverage. I was going to do a video on it discussing like whether it was worth playing or not, but I can't now. Sure, I
could remove the music from the background, but why do I want to do that after they screwed me over? And then at this juncture, even if I do do a video and if I complain about it, people are just going to say, "Well, you're only hating because they removed your video."
If I don't give it a 10 out of 10, they're going to say, "You're only hating on it cuz you you know, they they removed your video." Even though I would have legitimate criticisms, you know, this So, this is not worthwhile. Now,
not going to cover it ever. never do a dedicated video on it other than uploading this VOD, uploading this this entire thing to YouTube, just so people know, not just why I don't want to work
on it ever, but also to be careful if you're ever going to create content on it. This game wasn't bad. I actually
it. This game wasn't bad. I actually
gave this game like a 6.4, I think, out of 10 and said it was actually pretty good. I enjoyed it as a Bleach fan. I
good. I enjoyed it as a Bleach fan. I
thoroughly enjoyed my time in it. If I
had accepted that sponsorship and done a video on their game, eventually I would have had my video removed and I wouldn't have gotten paid for my time, for my
work. I cannot believe genuinely that
work. I cannot believe genuinely that they would release the game in a state where they do not own the distribution
rights for the music, for the scenes that they are using in their game. That
is incredibly cheap. Like, if you're going to want people to do videos on your game, if you're going to want people to stream your game, then make
sure they can do it without consequence.
I know you think that you just hit the end of the video, and technically, yeah, you have. And I know your first reaction
you have. And I know your first reaction is to close out of it at this juncture, but don't. No. Instead, I urge you to
but don't. No. Instead, I urge you to take a moment here and click one of the videos on screen that are coming up in just a moment so you remain up to date
with everything going on in the gacha genre. Trust me, you're not going to
genre. Trust me, you're not going to regret doing so. Stay flaccid.
