>> Okay. So, now I'm going to I'll just treat it as a normal conversation. Okay.
What's your favorite color? AC9.
I >> I'm going to write your name down.
Okay. Um, so Lero, please. Um, okay.
What's your favorite color?
>> Maybe black.
>> Black. Why you like black?
>> So, so, so is it starting or >> Yeah, starting. Yeah, that's the beginning of the test, man.
>> So, this is the one type of question.
Okay.
>> Yeah. type type. This is qu type one.
Question one.
>> Uh my my favorite color is is black because it's very simple and and
it's very simple and tedious.
So in a very I'm very uh I'm also a very straightforward human. I like it.
human. I like it.
>> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. I will do a demonstration. Okay. So, it doesn't
a demonstration. Okay. So, it doesn't have to be very complex. What's your
favorite color? Okay. For me, I like black because black is very plain, simple, >> and I am this type of person.
>> Yeah.
>> Finish, beautiful, short, right? Yeah.
Okay. So, the next question is going to be like, do you like the same colors now as you did when you were younger?
>> Oh, no.
When when I was a little girl, I like pink and blue because they I think they are beautiful. And when I grow up
are beautiful. And when I grow up gradually, my with my age is growing.
Uh- with my age is increasing, I put more interest in the simple and straightforward things.
>> Okay. Okay. That's good. That's good.
That's good. Um, I would say something like this, you know. Uh, yeah. Yeah,
that that's quite cool to be honest.
Okay. What can you learn about a person's from the color they like?
>> What can you learn about a person from the color they like?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> Oh, good question. I I think colors can indeed indirectly indicate some character characteristic of a person. So So I
think people if they they like the bright brightening color like yellow, blue, pink, they they might be younger and they they might be love
fantasy. Uh, no. I think it's a negative
fantasy. Uh, no. I think it's a negative word, but but people who who like uh like black, white, gray, they they
might be more plain.
Okay. Um, this is my suggestion. Treat
it like a normal English conversation.
Okay. Because if you think right or wrong, then it's very difficult. Okay?
It's way more difficult to treat it as right or wrong.
>> Okay.
>> So actually I have very comp complicated. So so my issue is not very
complicated. So so my issue is not very fluently because I I will generate complex ideas when you ask this these questions. Some some question
questions. Some some question >> make it simple. Make it simple is the key. You see, I never answer something
key. You see, I never answer something that is overly complex because when you listen to it, you will easily
lose people. So, you want to make it as
lose people. So, you want to make it as easy as easy and and as clear as possible. Okay.
possible. Okay.
So, so you don't want to make something very overly complex ideas because complex ideas require a lot of vocabulary to explain.
>> Yeah. Yes. that that's what I encountered and all. Uh I
>> Yeah. So you just want to make it very simple. Okay. Make it like like a free
simple. Okay. Make it like like a free ch three years old children's idea.
Okay. Make it very simple but not overly simple though. Okay. Like Okay. Um do
simple though. Okay. Like Okay. Um do
any colors have a special meaning in your culture?
That's an easy one.
>> Yes. Yes. I think there indeed some culture.
>> Yes. Uh, for example, the red color in my culture indicates it's it's danger or or or happiness things.
>> Okay. Okay. It's danger and happiness.
Oh, that's cool. That's cool. Okay. So,
now um I would say um for part one, keep it simple. Keep it simple. And then also
it simple. Keep it simple. And then also um maybe you know um yeah keep it simple and speak clearly. Okay speak clearly
your your your because it is not about the way you speak to be honest. When you
are unclear of what you speak it's not the speaking that's a problem. It's your
thinking that's a problem. Your thinking
is clear then your speaking will be very clear. Okay. So now the next question.
clear. Okay. So now the next question.
Are you ready?
>> Are you ready? I want to ask the uh about part part one how how many sentence I I should say >> no no no no don't think like that think
of it like you know part one should be very short easy and simple don't have a particular time stamp on it because when you are thinking hey I need to answer in
30 seconds and then I and I don't when I don't then that's a problem but when I do more than 30 seconds you know it's not natural it's not natural.
So, so you know if I if I limit your time to speak then you don't speak in a in a very very plea way. This is what I think. Okay.
think. Okay.
>> Okay. And in the part one we we got one topic like the color is one topic or we we have more.
>> Yeah. One topic. Yeah. Yeah. So normally
um it's like it's like part one is getting to know you simply you know it's just like getting you to warm up that's all you know you don't have to go very extremely complex everything just have a
chitchat conversation okay >> you know the the part three questions are the ones that shows your your thinking okay now are you ready for part two >> yeah yeah
>> okay let's go baby have you got a paper and a pen with you >> yeah I have a pen >> paper and I pan with you right now.
>> Okay, that's cool. That's cool. Okay, so
um describe a song or a piece of music you like. You should say what the song
you like. You should say what the song or music is, what kind of song or music it is, where you first heard it, and
explain why you like it.
Okay.
>> Now you have got 1 minute to prepare.
Your preparation time starts now.
Okay, now you may stop talking.
>> Okay, so my A song a music I like is the Buddhism meditation song. It it follows a very
meditation song. It it follows a very repetitive repetitive uh music flow and just going on and on that music flow that will
calms people calms me down most of the time and and I can heard about this when I doing some
hard thinking work or I need to relax.
And the first time I I heard it is I uh first get in touch with the uh zen practice
and meditation. So some some people in
and meditation. So some some people in our community recommend those stones and I feel like I love this song and heard
it many many times.
Okay, it's not it's not two minutes.
>> No. Oh. Oh. Wait wait wait wait. Okay.
[ __ ] I I forgot to to to clock it, but Okay. Okay. Okay. Um, would you mind?
Okay. Okay. Okay. Um, would you mind?
Would you mind? Would you mind? Can you
like like Okay. Okay. Okay. Would you
mind? Can you do it again? Do one more time. Repeat. Repeat the thing one more
time. Repeat. Repeat the thing one more time. Okay. One more time. Okay. Let's
time. Okay. One more time. Okay. Let's
Let me time it. Time it. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. Okay. Let's go. One, two, three.
Let's go.
My favorite song is Buddhism religion song because it's very it has a very
easy and simple lure that the lure follows a repetitive speed and and the tongue and I can
follow with the tongue to calm my mind clear my mind or when I doing some hard thinking work. I can
play it as a background music. And the
first time I heard about it is when I'm doing the Zen practice and in some meditation community, some people
recommended and saying this song can cure your your your sleep loss or make
you feel clear and that's why I like it.
Okay, that's one minute.
>> Oh, one minute.
>> Okay. Yeah. So, so what what you need is you need to speak more. You need to speak more. Okay.
speak more. Okay.
>> You need to be able to Yeah. What you need to do is you need to
Yeah. What you need to do is you need to speak more and you need to like 1 minute is way too short, I think. Okay. So what
you want to do is you you you actually spoke of um you like Buddhism music um it actually clears your mind you know um you like it a lot. So what you can do is
is that um you you can use the question like that. Okay. So so I I if I if I
like that. Okay. So so I I if I if I were to do it with your example so you know you can say yeah um so describe a kind of so I would time myself. Okay
listen listen carefully. So um hi um the favorite music of mine would be Buddhism music. Um the reason why I enjoy those
music. Um the reason why I enjoy those music is because um those music is very um um it clear my mind um during the
time of um uh a lot of noises and disturbance um when I when I I I first heard it in a
temple in in a temple in China uh Beijing whatever. Okay. Um the reason
Beijing whatever. Okay. Um the reason why I enjoy those music is because um they are very um whenever I encounter a
problem um different stress such as um studying or or um um encounting encountering an obstacle like you know
um doing a very difficult exams or worrying about my my my my family issues.
I will always um resolve myself to listen to the music. Uh these musics h have a very therapeutic effect on me. So
they can heal my mind and also calm it provide tranquility when I listen to the music. I often listen to the music with
music. I often listen to the music with the with my friends as well. Sometimes I
recommend them to to to listen to them when they are uh very stressed and and and feel a a high level of anxiety. Um
sometimes I also listen to them when I am happy when I celebrate with my family. Um when I got into university I
family. Um when I got into university I felt very happy and I also listen to the music as well just for celebration.
Therefore, I think um this is uh music is has a really good healing property to it and I like it very much. Thank you
very much for for for listening.
>> So this is not easy. Okay, talking about music but you just need to talk and talk and talk and talk and feel up maybe maybe try to talk like like you know use
your logical mind as well as your um emotional mind. Okay.
emotional mind. Okay.
Yes.
>> Yes.
>> So, so I wouldn't think when I I would stop. So, if if I stop the the examiner
stop. So, if if I stop the the examiner will notice me.
>> Huh?
>> So, so, so you just say I can talk go on and on. I I don't need to think when to
and on. I I don't need to think when to stop.
>> Um, no. I as as in because your your your your original answers is one minute.
It's way too short. So this is why you need to structure your answer longer.
You know you said you like Buddhism music. U it is written by some famous
music. U it is written by some famous monk. You need to give more information
monk. You need to give more information to fill up the time. You know normally I tell people to be very concise and and precise with their speech but 1 minute
is way too short. This is what I'm saying. You need to make make it two
saying. You need to make make it two minutes at least.
>> Yes. Okay.
>> Yes. But but some some words I I don't know like the tranquility uh >> tranquility. Tranquility means um uh
>> tranquility. Tranquility means um uh Okay. Okay. You study Buddhism and you
Okay. Okay. You study Buddhism and you don't know tranquility.
>> No, I I don't study Buddhism. I I don't like this music at all.
>> Okay. Okay. Okay. You just made that up.
Okay. Tranquility is ling.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Quietness. Okay. Peacefulness. A peace
of mind. So when you talk about peace of mind, therefore you talk about stress as well right?
>> Yes.
>> Yeah. Okay. Something like that. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Any question?
I would say, you know, this question is hard. Okay. This question is hard.
hard. Okay. This question is hard.
However, you still need to like for me, I wouldn't choose a peaceful music. I
would choose motivation. I would choose motivational music. you know, I would
motivational music. you know, I would say something like, "Yeah, I really like um uh uh motivational music." Um because I encounter a lot of academic stress. Um
when I encounter those, you know, um I need to keep myself going. Um even
though it is very boring to study at night by myself, um studying, grinding through maybe like um therefore I really need my mind to be uh I need really need
my spirit to be lifted. Therefore, I
listen to music like raw cries, okay?
You know, it's like battle songs, okay?
Um to to to to strengthen my heart um to um you know, to fortify my will to not give up, you know, to persevere through
all this um um impediment. Okay. Yeah.
Something like that. You see, when you change, when you set the topics, you know, you you set a topic that is easy and good for you to demonstrate English.
Don't set the topic is you quiet easy and finish. You understand what I mean?
and finish. You understand what I mean?
>> Yeah. Yes, I understand what you mean.
But but but just now you saying some some words I don't know like uh >> No, no, no. It's okay. It's okay. No,
but okay. You need to be better. Okay.
Be better. Okay. Listen and be better.
Okay. You need to be strengthen your mind and and you know, choose a topic that you can talk about. Don't choose
hard topic. That's what the one minute is for. You know, one minute is for
is for. You know, one minute is for talking about something really good to choose a topic and to think about the topic. Okay. Don't choose a a topic
topic. Okay. Don't choose a a topic that's really dead. Okay. Choose a topic that's lively. Okay.
that's lively. Okay.
>> Okay. So, so so in that one minute.
Yeah. I I I didn't take full advantage of that one minute, I think.
>> Yeah. Well, you need to Well, well, you're still you you you you this is the first time, so you need to learn to plan accordingly. You know sometimes I just
accordingly. You know sometimes I just brainstorm you know um you use the qu like like the Q card they have got questions right you don't have to use all of them you know um if you have got
something really explosive about a topic you know you can actually talk about it um without relating to the question but it depends how good you are with the
topic as well. Okay. So uh so just to be clear when when doing the real exam I will have a pen and a paper and I can write >> I think so you you you you given a paper. Yeah you're given a paper and a
paper. Yeah you're given a paper and a pen.
>> Okay.
>> Yes.
>> Okay cool. Can can we change another topic?
I think >> can can you change another topic? What
do you mean by change?
>> Ask you again.
>> Huh?
Just ask me another topic to to test my my my part two.
>> Your part two. Okay. Your part two. Um,
no. I I would say go with part three first. Okay. And I need to see that the
first. Okay. And I need to see that the the full spectrum of of your skills.
Okay.
>> Music and society. Okay. Tell me about any traditional music in your culture.
In my traditional culture, okay, in Chinese traditional culture, we had I don't know any traditional culture.
>> No, no, no, no, no. It's not about you don't know. You don't say this. Okay. in
don't know. You don't say this. Okay. in
in a speaking exam what you need to do is you need to say like like the question is given to you you are marked being what you say so I don't know
whether you know or not I don't care if what you say is right or wrong how you say is very important don't say you don't know okay >> tell me about any traditional music in
your culture >> okay in my traditional culture
One of one of the traditional culture type is the the water based music
because in in China we had the Dang Wu festival and people will rowing a boat in a river and when doing
this event people will play some traditional water music to enhance the momentum for
the both roller and and give them more
motivation to keep rowing. So that
water and drum based music is one type of traditional music.
>> Okay.
Okay. Okay. That's cool. That's cool.
How important is it for culture to have a musical tradition?
>> How important is it for culture to have a music tradition?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Good question. Uh I think it's uh very important for a culture to to have a musical tradition
because uh the the cultures the the music can constitute a a big corporation
to constitute the culture. And
and when a culture have comprehensive and vibrant music
music type, it will demonstrate how prosperous the culture is.
>> Okay. Okay. Um,
why do you think c countries have national anthem or songs?
>> Why doesn't countries have national anthem?
>> Yeah, I don't know anthem.
Oh, >> no. No, no, no, no, no, no. Don't don't
>> no. No, no, no, no, no, no. Don't don't
don't check it. You don't know then songs.
check it. You don't know then songs.
You're going to encounter questions like this. What are you going to do in the
this. What are you going to do in the real exam?
Don't check the words national. What do
you think of countries that have national anthems or songs? National
songs. Then if you don't know, just go with like the correctness doesn't matter. C
matter. C >> can I ask the examiner? So, oh, I >> No, you can you you can only ask him to repeat. That's all.
repeat. That's all.
>> Okay.
Okay. I can only ask him to repeat.
Okay. But I just look it up. I I know what answer is. So I
>> you see you see you see this is not the the idea of practice. You need to get rid of the mindset of having the right answer. There's no right answer. You
answer. There's no right answer. You
have to create an answer. Learn to
create not answer the right answer.
Okay. You don't understand. Then don't
understand. Just go with the question.
What do you do? Okay.
>> Okay.
>> So, >> yes.
>> So, now I answer this question. Uh,
sorry. C, could you repeat the question?
>> No. Yeah, no problem. Why do you think countries have national anthems or songs?
>> Okay. I think a country have its own unique anthem and national songs can can
unite the people and to dictate people to identify with the
national culture and make them feel they are a one united union and of course the
>> patriots patriarchy.
>> Patriotic.
>> It's not it's not patriarchy. Uh
>> patri patriarchy it means a father society. I know patriotic
society. I know patriotic >> patri patriotic means you know being loving to their country.
>> And I think this answer this answer is very good you know very clear very concise you know very clear and very concise. Um, so yes, you want to answer
concise. Um, so yes, you want to answer it loud and clear. Okay, loud and clear and confident. Okay. Um, I will say, you
and confident. Okay. Um, I will say, you know, it's not about the right answer.
It's never about the right answer. When
you search for the right answer, you will eventually you um yeah, when you search for the right answer, you will shutter because you
don't know what you are answering if it is right or is wrong. But in the real exam you don't get the time to think.
You just ask a question and you get to move on. Okay. So just say something
move on. Okay. So just say something like like you know what you need to do is you need to answer accordingly. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah that's all.
>> And how do you evaluate my speaking?
>> I will say now maybe maybe a 5.5 to a six. That's what I feel like. Oh, that's
six. That's what I feel like. Oh, that's
>> you know 5 4.5 5.5 to a six maybe but you know I will have to say you know you don't understand the question don't just get over it and talk talk over it like
like you know or ask them to repeat if if they repeat and you don't understand then you just have to come up with something don't say I don't know never say I don't know I don't know then what score can I give you >> right
>> okay >> so you need to be you need to be very clear I know and I We'll talk about it.
Okay. Talk about music, you know. Um uh
tell me about any traditional music. Uh
traditional music in China is a form of is associated with Buddhism and and those music can be very spirit lifting.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. Tell me more like like is there any more um huh uh traditional musics?
Yeah. I think in the in in the in in in in in the south area in the in in in Guangjo of China in in the Quang Guangjo province of China um they have got some
um can Cantonese songs u that are very popular that has been passed down from generation to generation. So what you want to do is you want to you want to
answer it the best of your ability you know never it doesn't matter it's wrong you know what's more important is how you say it you know whatever that I have
said is it right never but I make it sound very right Okay.
Yeah. Because the problem is when you hear the word national anthem and songs and then you panic. When you panic in
the speaking exam, you are done.
Okay. Any question?
>> Uh, no. I I think uh >> Okay. I think this round I have the I
>> Okay. I think this round I have the I reimbursed the the how how does speaking works and uh maybe we we can do another round then I I'm more I will be more
comfortable with it.
>> Are you sure? Are you sure you are more comfortable? Are you confident?
comfortable? Are you confident?
You know confidence actually based on how comfortable you are.
>> Comfort.
>> But are you comfortable then?
>> Uh yes.
>> Okay. Good. With certainty. Okay.
Okay. Like for part two and part three is quite good. Okay. But I want you to be stronger. Okay.
be stronger. Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Are you scared?
Oh, so so actually I I do scare be because there there are a lot of words.
So so when I think about a word like patriarchy like oh pat patriotic. So I I will fall into that uncertainty and or in some cases I
>> well well I well I would say I would say something like this you know um you know just try your best you know uh you know u you are saying the accuracy of the wording you know I would say you know
sometimes you know you make it a a make it a a how should I say uh maybe you should make it Ah,
I would say you you you want to make it a habit. Um um um maybe
a habit. Um um um maybe if you don't use the word, you never you never get get the score. If you wrongly
use the word, then you will miss the score. I will say risk it. Risk it
score. I will say risk it. Risk it
anyway. risk
>> for you. Yeah, risk it is a better strategy because you know you don't it's like you don't speak and you speak the wrong thing then I rather you speak the wrong thing and die the result is the
same you know that you might get through it you never know okay but but but yeah okay so I will I will
do one more one more part two and one more part three with you okay make sure that it is interesting okay impress me Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Describe. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Pen
and paper. Have you got it?
>> Yes.
>> Yep. Okay. So, um part two, describe one of your friend. You should say, how you met, how long have you known each other,
and um how you spend time together and explain why you like this person. You
have got one minute to talk about a question. You may stop now.
question. You may stop now.
Okay, you may begin talking now. Let's
start.
>> Hi. So, I'm going to talking about uh a friend of mine. I I met him in the gym.
So, I like working out my physical body and doing some f fitness things. So I
usually work out my upper limb. So I
always met a same guy doing that with me. Then we start to
me. Then we start to chatting and turns out we we found out we both from the same university and
he's study law and I am a startup founder in that university. So then we start to talking about more about our
life and university life. Then we become uh
university life. Then we become uh friends and and when we
met each other. So then we went to the gym every separate day and uh we just doing the
workouts, doing pull-ups and doing push-ups together.
And sometimes we will help each other do the complex workouts.
And and then in real life, we met in a
uh in a in a friend's birthday party. So
that's how we connect with each other and and until now we still regularly meeting
at the gym and doing exercise.
>> Is it two minutes?
Oh no, no, no. Okay, okay. 1 minute 40 seconds. Okay. You your your speech.
seconds. Okay. You your your speech.
Okay.
Speech.
I meet him at the gym.
I've seen him in the gym. You know, you have said it like three times. Okay. So,
part two, I would say something like this. You know,
this. You know, logically minded. Okay. You are very
logically minded. Okay. You are very logically minded. You said how you met,
logically minded. You said how you met, what you did and then um and and and then what you did and then and then
that's all. But you have is is it a
that's all. But you have is is it a difficult uh improvement for you? No.
Okay.
Okay.
Why you like this person? You know, you can talk a lot about this person. Okay.
He's very handsome and and he's very charm and he's very knowledgeable and he's very nice to me. Something like
this.
Oh, come on.
No, no, no, no. It's good. It's good.
It's good. You know, yes, you will get a Q card, but but even though if you don't get a Q card, I'm pract I'm I'm teaching you how to listen. Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. But I would say something like this, you know, >> explain why you like this person. You
know, you can have all sorts of opinion.
You know, when I first know him, he's very shy and very timid, which I I don't really enjoy. But as the time goes on,
really enjoy. But as the time goes on, as our friendship deepens, he is actually very nice and he he's very outspoken and he's a gentleman to me and
he was help me to do push-up. Something
like that. Okay. So, I think is it is it good? Yes. Well, I would say potentially
good? Yes. Well, I would say potentially it could be good. And is it hard to fix? Definitely
good. And is it hard to fix? Definitely
not. It's very easy to fix.
How you feel about something, how you feel about the situation, it's entirely up to you because it's how you feel, right?
>> And how you feel, you can add some high level vocabulary. something like you
level vocabulary. something like you know um yeah um it is really um invigorating when I do when I uh do gym
um with him u because we strengthen our minds we fortify our mindsets right
>> okay yeah so so what so so I think what you need is okay work harder okay and and and you're good okay this is much
better much more certain you know I am sure. Let me ask you, is this real or
sure. Let me ask you, is this real or did you make this up?
>> It's real.
>> It's real. Yes. Then that's very good.
Okay. Sounds much more relatable. It's
also okay to have some emotion. Okay.
Try to have emotion. I know you are you are about zero and one and very logical.
Okay. But you know sometimes you can smile, you can have some fun. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. Okay.
Shout out.
Okay. But now let's go with what what we have. Okay. So I'm going to ask um
have. Okay. So I'm going to ask um qualities of friends. Oh that's a good one for you. What do you think are the most important qualities for friend to
have?
So in my opinion, what's the most quality of a friend is firstly this person is is trustable because um you
you need to make sure the people around you are not going to harm you and they they have the genuine morality. They have genuine good
morality. They have genuine good morality inherently. Then you could
morality inherently. Then you could trust them and be friend with. And
secondly, they should be funny. And then
you could have a lot of fun when you hang out or doing things.
And moreover, you you you'd better have the common interest. And maybe you study the same subject or you you going to the same
gym to work out.
Yeah.
>> Okay. That's cool. That's cool. That's
very cool. Okay. Um, second question.
What are more important to people to their Oh, sorry. What are more important to people their family or their friends?
Why?
>> Okay. I I think uh I think family is more important than friend be because the
in in most of the time family are the type of group you can forever trust and can hand over yourself wi without
conservation to them and uh you can share your everything with with your family be because they will You know
they will support you whenever what happened and and but we also have uh the
extreme cases like there are exist some family they abandoned their their child or they just using their child as a a
leverage to to feed them when they're growing old. Then that type of family uh
growing old. Then that type of family uh we we should identify them. If if your parents are really loves you then in
this type of family I think friends are better than family.
>> Wow beautifully spoken.
That was very nice example.
Philosophical indeed. I think let me just finish the praise.
I did not know you can speak such uh in such a philosophical terms. Yeah. So I
think it was really beautiful. You know
some parents they are manipulative. So
therefore they may leverage their children as investment uh for for their retirement investment um so that you know they will look after them when they retire.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Beautifully spoken you know. No, good
point. And and also very realistic.
>> I am proud. Okay. Wow.
>> No. This this question is is a step on my sweet point.
>> No, no, no, no, no, no. It's good. It's
good. Is it a personal experience? It
sounds like you got a >> It sounds like personal experience.
>> I I like observe. I like observe how how society works.
>> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. And you also like to cook, right? You cook a lot.
>> No, I I don't like cook because in in Germany.
>> You just bought the dumpling. Uh, not
the dumpling. The the the the hag. You
just bought it.
>> [ __ ] I thought you made it.
>> That That's the easiest That's the easiest way to do. You just need to put it into microwave for for 3 minutes and you're you can have the
>> you know it's new year time you know you should go out and treat yourself a meal okay be nice to yourself okay and don't study way too hard okay
>> no of course not I I know how urgent it is to to day and >> okay okay you're funny you're funny you are funny in that one okay you are funny
in ever. Okay. What do you think causes
in ever. Okay. What do you think causes friendship to break up? Last question
for the day.
>> Okay. What
>> what do you think causes friendship to to break up?
>> Okay. What what cause a friendship to break up? There there might be uh a lot
break up? There there might be uh a lot of reasons. Um I think what um
of reasons. Um I think what um uh give example in my daily life I I would think it's uh it's because of the
split of the benefits. Uh if if you start a company
benefits. Uh if if you start a company with a friend, then turns out you found out the contrary party are not treat you
as a as as a a fair co-founder or just treat you as a friend that can freely
work for for him or her, then this could a critical point to lead to the breakout. and others are are maybe more
breakout. and others are are maybe more moderate like you as the times grow you
develop different different interest. Um so gradually you just
interest. Um so gradually you just naturally don't have the interest in the same thing and you both developed a new
network circle and your interest circle that's also lead to a a breakout or or just uh a small breakout.
>> Okay. Okay. I would say you know um it's quite good. Okay. Um but but but it was
quite good. Okay. Um but but but it was nothing compared to the last one. But in
general I think the the second practice you got was much better because your mind is very stable. Okay. Your mind is very stable. You are very calm and then
very stable. You are very calm and then you know you show yourself. Okay. You
can be very articulative you know and philosophical at times and I am surprised. Any question you want to ask
surprised. Any question you want to ask your master? uh
your master? uh uh can be articulate.
I think uh yeah, I think I just need a lot of practice and and to to to
enhance my my lexical resource.
>> Yeah.
>> Because when I speak in English, I think I can give a more profound expression.
But but sometimes I I just don't know those expression and at that time I just using simple simple terms for for example in my last >> it's okay it's okay it's okay simp
simple terms is there's no problem with being simple okay you know simple accurate >> simplicity also equals um clarity
>> however you know um some you know if you really want to have u yeah you want to have some really um uh uh uh uh terms
that are very very good as well. But I I say in general this is good. Okay. Just make sure you practice. So your exam is on the sec
practice. So your exam is on the sec third of this Saturday, right?
>> Yeah. This Saturday. Oh
>> good luck. Good luck. Damn. Okay. But
you should be good. Okay. Anything you
want to say other than say you are not good?
>> Uh It's like [ __ ] someone. Give me the Chinese word, bro.
someone. Give me the Chinese word, bro.
Okay. Okay. Um,
type the Chinese word. Yeah. Yeah. Give
me that.
Okay. Um, it is very situational. Um,
well, this is how I think of it or you know, maybe there is another term for it, but uh, this is how I explain it.
Um, you know, a friendship date varies.
Um, and it's very situational. Um
sometimes uh if the circumstances are allow you know I may be very close friend to a person simply because he or she is the only person that's next to
me. Sometimes you know maybe we have got
me. Sometimes you know maybe we have got different goals, different interests and conflicting mind, conflicting ideology
that will put the distance between us.
Therefore the friendship is a very uh it's not a fixed concept but a very very flexible >> term for me. So my friends depending on
the situation depending on the circumstances you know they may be closed. However will that stay that will
closed. However will that stay that will will that stay that way forever?
Definitely not.
Okay. Um it will change accordingly.
Okay. You know, today's enemy might be tomorrow's best friend.
Wow.
Something like that. Okay.
>> Okay.
Okay. I'm your first priority. Priority.
>> No, no, no, no, no, no. This is what I'm saying. If you are going to find find
saying. If you are going to find find speaking practice, me is your first choice and then you can find Xmass or or or offensive to to to practice English
speaking English or just talk [ __ ] with them. Okay. They are my boys. Okay. Or

us. You know sometimes me offensive and Xmas we talk a lot of [ __ ] but now since you are rushing for exam you know you should focus on the exam and then play
afterwards. Okay.
afterwards. Okay.
>> Okay. And and you guys gather around in the in the speaking squat.
>> Yeah. In the speaking squad we will talk about who like who who eat what you know who stupid something like this. Okay. It's very
natural and and fun.
>> Okay. Very
>> okay. By the way, can you speak German?
>> I special kind of toys.
>> Oh, [ __ ] man. You can speak German, man. [ __ ] You're good.
man. [ __ ] You're good.

student. Not a official students. It's a

>> So, so it's exchange student, right?
>> It's not exchanging. It's
uh entrepreneurial program.
>> Wow. I guess you're very smart then.
>> No. Uh,
>> but why are you doing?
>> So that's that's part of my plan. Like
before before my master, I just take a break like No. And I I eventually go to the master.

>> Yes. Yes.

talented person and you you show high level thinking and I'm impressed. Okay.
Okay. But you still need a lot of practice. Okay.
practice. Okay.

>> I'm proud of you. Okay. That's good.
Okay. Any question?
>> Uh No more question.
