Interviewer Bot with Cross-exam features and with a scoring at the end
By ecorpnu1
Summary
## Key takeaways - **AI Cross-Examines Cover Letters vs. Job Descriptions**: This interviewer bot uses AI to compare your cover letter or resume against job requirements, identifying inconsistencies and generating targeted cross-examination questions. It focuses on what you've done, not just what you know. [00:09] - **Detecting Inconsistencies in Experience**: The system flags discrepancies, such as claiming four years of experience that began in June 2011, or applying for a finance role when your background is in legal work. It aims to uncover potential inconsistencies in your application. [01:41] - **Dynamic Questioning Based on Job Role**: The interviewer bot adapts its questions based on the specific job requirements. For instance, after changing the job role to 'asset one and lawyer,' the questions shifted to financial reporting and auditing. [04:04] - **Assessing Real-World Application, Not Just Knowledge**: This system prioritizes how you've applied your knowledge in past roles over theoretical knowledge or passing exams. It evaluates your past performance to gauge your potential in a new company. [04:53] - **Scoring for Likelihood of Consideration**: Upon completion, the system provides a score indicating your likelihood of being considered for the role. This offers a more transparent and potentially fairer outcome than traditional rejection methods. [05:31]

Welcome. This is Chris.
>> Hello. This is Chris Guan. This is my
cross exam interview module demo. If you
look at it, the difference is that we
interview people based on the gap they
show from their cover letter with the
job description. Unlike other interview
model like Merco, they actually ask you
by examining what you know. We are
looking at what you what you say in your
cover letter. For example, you can
upload a cover letter here
and you can upload the positions itself.
So there is the the machine will
actually check for consistency between
the the cover letter and the position
that was advertised.
Now if you look at this um system, I
have used my own resume
on the left hand side. You can see that
the once you upload your cover letter
sorry cover letter and resume is to me
is um very close. So in this case I use
a cover sorry I use a resume instead of
a cover letter
and um
that's
that's the point I I'm trying to stress
is that employers really want to find
out how much you can do to when you are
placed in their company and that is and
that the only way to do it is to find
out what you have done in the past not
what you actually know what you done in
the past and how you can justify what
you have done.
And in this case, my system um looks at
you know whether you have four years of
this is a trick question by the way uh
you have four years of post admin uh
admin legal experience that you're
listed um begins in 2011 June 20113. So
what he's saying is that you are not
being consistent.
Um
and this one cover letter indicates that
you work for Roshana
but this position involve finance. So I
actually pick um
uh a position where it's completely
different from what I was working in. So
and um that's how the thing is going to
play out here.
Um, so I'm showing you what the jobs
>> requirements are. So, this is a
part-time one. So, I'm going to change
it now.
I'm going to change it to another job
just to show you how it can be done.
This is uh
this is the positions
and it doesn't match
and uh you can tell by the way it's
going
uh you drop the energy sectors agreement
have you? So you answer yes or no. So
I think yeah I think um this is
genuinity
I think I change it afterwards
to an analyst lawyer that one there.
Yes.
And um you can do this by
just the thing is that a lot of the
websites do not allow you to cut do not
allow you to scrape. So this is using a
scripping
system and uh
so what it does is that it remove the
previous position requirements and
change it to the new one which you just
saw just now. So this is this is the
asset one and lawyer.
So
you can see the interviewer questions
actually change as well. So now it goes
to financial reporting or auditing which
is what it was looking for.
And um yeah, so that's what it does. So
you upload your cover letter or your
resume and then you post your jobs that
you're looking at
at the same time. uh the machine will
try to understand both and look at the
gaps that you have and then interrogate
the those gaps whether they are
legitimate or something else and that's
how the system actually functions. If
you look if you look at this system,
it's much better than asking someone
what you know because anybody can just
do a lead code um study study hard for
the exam and do or pass all those um
exams to be interviewed.
But at the same time knowing something,
knowing having the knowledge and knowing
how to apply the knowledge in the real
world is two different thing. Here we're
trying to find out how you have applied
your knowledge in another case, another
company and see how well you have done.
Uh this is the summary. So you actually
get a score. In this case, we all did
badly.
