Notebook LM is on a completely new level now. Since the last video I made about
now. Since the last video I made about Notebook LM over 10 months ago, it's now able to make docs, sheets, slides, infographics, in all sorts of styles, podcasts, and videos.
If your target is to generate a reliable $20,000 in monthly recurring revenue.
But it's actually way more than this.
It's like Google has breathed general intelligence into this beloved research and learning tool. So, in this video, I'm going to show you what it can do now. And don't forget to pay attention
now. And don't forget to pay attention because there will be a little quiz at the end of this video. A portion of this video is sponsored by GenSpark. Okay, so
the easiest way to get started with Notebook LM is checking out its featured notebooks. Notebook LM has partnered
notebooks. Notebook LM has partnered with top researchers and companies to create these. You see, there's the
create these. You see, there's the complete Sherlock Holmes and game, can your eyes explain your overall health, secrets of the super agers, the future of digital health, earnings report, the
ultimate guide to home buying, how to study, and more. Let's check out this one, The World Ahead 2026 by The Economist.
So, we can see that this is a notebook called The World Ahead issue from The Economist that gives you a unparalleled understanding of the major forces at play across the globe. So, it'll guide you through the most interesting predictions for the year ahead from
expert forecasters. So, we can see that
expert forecasters. So, we can see that these are the sources provided by The Economist. And you can actually click
Economist. And you can actually click into them, these are articles where you can also read the original versions, like this. But yes, there are a lot of
like this. But yes, there are a lot of different articles over here covering many different topics. And you know that these are high-quality sources because they are provided by The Economist, which is very important because the
sources is what the notebook is based upon. You can collapse these for now.
upon. You can collapse these for now.
Since we know that this notebook is forecasting the trends in 2026 and beyond, I could ask it something like, "I want to start a business this year.
Please help me identify the gaps in the market." And I want to give it some more
market." And I want to give it some more details. So, number one, I don't want to
details. So, number one, I don't want to raise VC capital, I want it to be a bootstrapped lifestyle business. I want
it to be a business that I can automate over time and doesn't require me to hire other people. I want to generate at
other people. I want to generate at least 20k USD per month in terms of profit. I want to start with B2C
profit. I want to start with B2C business consumer as opposed to business to business. Timeline, say a year. And I
to business. Timeline, say a year. And I
want to tell it that I do have the ability to code, make software, and use / build with AI my skills. And then I will click enter.
You can read through its thoughts if you wish. Let's look at the results. So,
wish. Let's look at the results. So,
based upon your skills, it says that I should be building a niche premium B2C AI micro SaaS software as a service, which will generate me 20k per month in net profit as a solo founder. So, it's
giving me some options here, option A or option B, but the whole idea is that I should be charging higher amounts for less people. Okay. And it tells me that
less people. Okay. And it tells me that here are some of the highly profitable gaps. Pay attention if you're someone
gaps. Pay attention if you're someone who actually wants to start a business.
So, gap number one is the oral GLP-1 adherence and muscle companion. So, we
can see here that the weight loss drugs are shifting from weekly injections to oral daily pills, but this is a problem because daily pills are much easier to forget than weekly jabs. And users
frequently skip them to avoid sudden unwelcome side effects. And they are also highly anxious about losing skeletal mass muscle alongside the fat.
So, here's the product, a premium interactive AI daily GLP-1 companion.
So, it uses WhatsApp, SMS, or an app interface to deliver hyper-personalized voice action activated check-ins. The AI
dynamically tracks side effects and advises the user how to adjust their diet. It acts as a strict daily
diet. It acts as a strict daily adherence coach giving a fine a pill schedule. And it tells you more details
schedule. And it tells you more details about how to automate it and the math, etc. Gap number two is the California sober and microdosing journey companion.
We have officially hit peak wine. Mass
market wine consumption is in a steep secular decline driven by Gen Z and millennials who are increasingly health conscious. Consumers are heavily
conscious. Consumers are heavily embracing the California sober lifestyle substituting alcohol cannabis, functional adaptogens, or microdosing magic mushrooms. Interesting. So, the
product is a highly secure, privacy-first, AI-driven mindful detoxification and microdose log. Okay.
So, more information about that. So, gap
three is an AI-generated vertical microdrama tool for creators. Says
traditional television is dying and standard film studios are facing aggressive competition from microdramas.
So, the product is a no-code B2C web app that allows aspiring microdrama creators to generate vertical episodes from text.
And we have number four, which is the hourglass AI agent sandbox for Gen Z graduates. The trend is that the
graduates. The trend is that the entry-level job market is undergoing a brutal contraction. Generative AI agents
brutal contraction. Generative AI agents are aggressively replacing junior roles in software development, customer service, and copy editing. To get hired or survived, the class of 2026 must bypass the traditional entry-level
ladder and display hourglass skills, namely the ability to build and manage AI agents themselves. Oof, that is pretty hard.
Don't envy you guys. It's harder than in my days. So, the B2C product here is an
my days. So, the B2C product here is an educational sandbox and a portfolio builder. It teaches non-technical
builder. It teaches non-technical graduates how to build, chain, and deploy functional AI agents for business use cases. Instead of just watching
use cases. Instead of just watching videos, platform lets them visually build and live test actual agents in a simulated environment, etc., etc. Wonderful. So, this is a very good
Wonderful. So, this is a very good start. In just a bit, we will actually
start. In just a bit, we will actually explore these business ideas a little bit more. But first, I just want to like
bit more. But first, I just want to like really emphasize this just in case it's not like super clear to you. There's so
much value that you can get from just these featured notebooks and chatting with them. Because the sources are the
with them. Because the sources are the most important thing. And you know that these are sources that are verified and high quality. So, you know that your
high quality. So, you know that your results are also going to be high quality and you can trust these results.
This one, for example, is Secrets of the Super Agers have helped me pinpoint some of my very terrible habits that I should probably fix so that I don't die early.
I'm also going to put on screen out some of my favorite featured notebooks that have helped me improve my business, improve my health, explore random interests, and figure out what to invest in, which we'll actually be talking
about a little bit later in this video as well. Because NotebookLM has a very
as well. Because NotebookLM has a very big part of how I research things that I should be buying and selling. So, yes,
take a screenshot.
[music] Okay, great. Now, to evaluate these
Okay, great. Now, to evaluate these potential B2C ideas further, we're actually going to create our own notebook now. So, click create notebook,
notebook now. So, click create notebook, and we're going to start populating with some sources. So, prior to Notebook
some sources. So, prior to Notebook LLM's update, you used to have to upload your own sources where you can like try to search some sources on the web, which is like all right. But, now you can actually chat LLM to help you
intelligently populate these sources for you using the Gemini 3.5 model and antigravity. So, I can write, "Help me
antigravity. So, I can write, "Help me find some sources that can help me evaluate solopreneur
{slash} lifestyle business {slash} micro SaaS ideas to see which idea is most suitable to build." Click enter. Okay,
so it says, "Here's what I found for evaluating the solopreneur, lifestyle business, and micro SaaS ideas." So, key themes, problem founder over market size, audience first over idea first,
etc., etc. Okay, so it says, "Here are some of the sources." We look at these.
Okay, seems legit. So, we can click import, and it will populate these sources. Now, let's go back to the World
sources. Now, let's go back to the World Ahead 2026 notebook. Let's write,
"Please write down my original criteria and these different ideas all together in detail so I can easily copy paste
[music] it."
[music] it." Okay, so this part is a little bit annoying because you can't actually clone these featured notebooks like you can with a Google Doc or Google Slides or something like that, right? Uh so,
what we have to do is we just have to like copy it like the information that it gave us about the different business ideas. I
mean, it's not that bad. We go to the notebook that we were working on and click add source. So, we're just going to copy paste this, and I'm actually going to remove this part about your next step, like the one-year
bootstrappers timeline. Like, I don't
bootstrappers timeline. Like, I don't need that here. So, it's just going to be the ideas. So, insert this, and let's call this business ideas. So, it's more clear. By
business ideas. So, it's more clear. By
the way, you can click this button over here to label things more efficiently.
So, you see that there is bootstrapping methods, SaaS idea validation, validation strategies, and then business idea is over here. Okay, be honest with me. How many AI subscriptions is your
me. How many AI subscriptions is your team paying for right now? What if I told you you can replace all of them with just one workspace? That's what my team has been doing with Jen Spark. It's
powered by GPT, Claude, Gemini, and it selects and uses the most suitable model to deliver the best solutions. It has AI slides, sheets, design, code, and image all built in. So, you don't need five different subscriptions, you have it all
just in one workplace. Recently, I used AI slides to create a deck for my favorite AI workflows. I just described it in plain English, chose from Jen Spark's many ready-to-use templates, and generated a full presentation-ready deck
with all the visuals, too. What used to take an afternoon just takes minutes now. Then, there's Agent Base, custom
now. Then, there's Agent Base, custom dashboards built from your own data, and you don't even need to know how to code.
For example, I built a content calendar to manage our entire team's social media. So, now our content pipeline is
media. So, now our content pipeline is finally in one place, rather than scattered across different voice memos and documents. By the way, Jen Spark can
and documents. By the way, Jen Spark can also be useful for your personal life, too. I also built an AI life planner
too. I also built an AI life planner that tracks my gym sessions, my learning goals, and my reading goals. It's all
visible in one dashboard. So, if you're juggling multiple different AI subscriptions, highly recommend that you check out Jen Spark. You can sign up through my link in the description to get started with some free credits.
Thank you so much Jen Spark for sponsoring this portion of the video.
Great. I'm going to do one more round of Notebook LM sources. I'm going to ask it, "Help me find sources that digs deeper into each [music] of the
industries of the business ideas to gain deeper understanding of the industry." Click
enter. The reason why I'm doing this is that I want to supplement each of these business ideas with additional sources that is specific to that industry cuz I think that'll be helpful in finally like evaluating if these are actually legit
business ideas or not. All right, so here's some deep dive findings of the four specific industries corresponding to your micro SaaS ideas. Here's the
sources we can take a look. Okay. Okay,
let us import these. Got these
additional sources. Oops, so can't do this one for the food navigators we'll remove the source and I'll just type in
if food navigator source could not be imported, please replace if necessary.
Okay, so it says they're already fully preserved in the notebook, so it's fine.
Okay, sounds good. Let's organize these two auto labeling my sources. I'm going
to write evaluate each of the business ideas as viable business ideas based on the SaaS evaluations, strategies, and
bootstrapping and methods, etc. And supplemented by the additional industry data. I'll put each business idea report
data. I'll put each business idea report separately. Okay.
separately. Okay.
Great. So here are the results. I'm
actually going to say save each business report as an independent studio output.
Okay, great. We see that it has generated a markdown file for each of the business ideas. And so this is a GPO on adherence one and it says the status is extremely viable primary
recommendation California Sober Companion viability. So all this
Companion viability. So all this information and it says it's highly viable as well secondary recommendation, etc. etc. So we are going to
convert these to a source.
So we have them over here. Let's check
out these new fancy studio outputs to see how we can explore these better. So
we want to only click on these ones.
Say, let's generate a slide deck. We'll
have a default option. Can say, make the slide deck in detail about each business option and compare on and contrast.
Okay, let's generate that.
Uh let's also make a video overview.
Pick the explainer type. Ooh, visual
style.
Let's do anime style. You see that there's also other languages here. Uh
what should the AI host focus on? Ooh,
okay. So, it says that you can have a founder's guide. That looks good.
founder's guide. That looks good.
Explain the viability report as a step-by-step strategy for a first-time founder.
Um also add a validation plan. Outline a
30-day plan to validate the idea with pre-sales.
Uh let's also add a practical roadmap.
Highlight the most important technical milestones to reach during the first month. Yeah, let's do that. Sounds good.
month. Yeah, let's do that. Sounds good.
So, let's generate this. Let's also
generate an infographic.
Aw, so cute.
So many options. Um mental grid, instructional. Yeah, let's make an
instructional. Yeah, let's make an instructional guide as well. So,
describe the infographic that you want to create. A step-by-step guide from
to create. A step-by-step guide from very beginning evaluation to the final product. Yeah, let's do that. So, I should make another
that. So, I should make another infographic, too. Let's just auto select
infographic, too. Let's just auto select this one. We can just say a comparison
this one. We can just say a comparison between the different business ideas to help aid in selecting which one is most
suitable to pursue. Great. Yeah, there's
lots of other things you can generate like different types of reports, uh briefing docs, study guide, blog posts.
Let's see some of the suggestions that it has. Says foundational primer. So,
it has. Says foundational primer. So,
introductory guide explain the stair-step method for launching low-risk things. That looks great. So, actually
things. That looks great. So, actually
why don't I just try one of them? Like
say I want to do the um the California sober comparison. What's that called?
sober comparison. What's that called?
Whatever. The California sober thing.
And then let's actually create a report for this with a product launch road map.
Great. Let's generate this, too. So,
lots of other things you can do. You can
actually generate quizzes, as well.
Different types of data tables. And
yeah, mind maps, audio overviews, flashcards are really helpful if you're trying to learn something. So many
different output options. Honestly, this
upgrade is really cool. While these are generating, I want to show you another major upgrade to Notebook LM, which gives it the ability of LM generating code and executing it within its own sandbox. This is something that
sandbox. This is something that previously Notebook LM could not do. It
could not actually like generate code and do analysis, but now it can. So,
let's start with a new notebook here.
And let's do something related to finances and investing.
[music] So, first source that I'm going to add is a snapshot of my investment portfolio. See that this document
portfolio. See that this document displays a detailed financial dashboard showcasing a user's investment portfolio, cash holdings, etc., etc. Let's actually rename this and call it
portfolio. My portfolio, just to be
portfolio. My portfolio, just to be clear. What I want to do is analyze my
clear. What I want to do is analyze my portfolio, identify any gaps, and then also cross-reference that to remember the World Ahead 2026 notebook, because this gives us the most interesting
predictions of the year ahead from expert forecasters. So, if I
expert forecasters. So, if I cross-reference with these upcoming trends, I could be able to identify places in which I could be investing in to ride these trends. So, to do this,
let's look at some of the outputs here.
Uh here we have a global forecasting key developments table. So, this shows us
developments table. So, this shows us the different topics, the sector, key players, timeline, and what's expected to happen, which is perfect. So, what I can do is click export to sheets, and
you can see that it has this sheet over here. I can share it by copying the link
here. I can share it by copying the link and adding this as a source. So, I'm
going to call this, rename it. Oh, cool.
Global forecast and this will be the global forecast and key development source. Great. Now, I'm going to ask it
source. Great. Now, I'm going to ask it to analyze and evaluate my portfolio for any imbalances and opportunities for investment based on these 2026 global forecast and developments.
Click enter. We can see that Notebook LM is using its abilities to execute code now, which is so cool. And yeah, we can actually follow along what it's doing here. Okay, so while it's doing this,
here. Okay, so while it's doing this, let's actually go back and check up on the different SAS businesses. Oh, great.
Looks like these are all done. Let's
actually check them out. These studio
outputs.
Welcome to the Explainer. Today, we're
getting into the absolute holy grail for first-time founders. We're going to look
first-time founders. We're going to look at a step-by-step strategy to completely transform raw, untested ideas into rigorous Take a look at these numbers. A
massive 66% cut in entry-level hiring by global enterprises. That fuels our first
global enterprises. That fuels our first idea, an AI sandbox designed to help desperate college grads stand out. Then,
look at the 14% drop in global wine consumption since 2018. That totally
opens the oral GLP-1 companion app.
Patients taking these new weight loss meds deal with severe daily vomiting, and they risk losing muscle mass. They
will happily pay 29 bucks a month for an app that manages those side effects.
That's not a nice-to-have vitamin, right? That is an absolute painkiller.
right? That is an absolute painkiller.
Let's move on to gate two, the optimization scorecard. This is all
optimization scorecard. This is all about defensibility and scalability.
Basically, we're looking at the actual operational reality of running these businesses.
When we run our ideas through this scorecard, the GLP-1 app is a total winner across the board. It boasts low implementation friction and high scalability with an automated API. Plus,
it builds a massive moat through custom symptom tracking.
Etc. Honestly, that was pretty good. I'm
pretty impressed by that. You know what?
As a gift to you guys, I'm going to put it into the video companion for this video, which you can get for free, and you can actually like check out these business ideas, too. Okay? Maybe one of you you build it. That'd be crazy.
Anyways, okay, let's see here. Here's a
slide deck. Okay, so four pots 20k per month, different niches, bootstrappers evaluation, AI generated verticals, gives us a executive vision, market context, financial targets, gate one
status, etc., etc. Master viability ledger. So it shows us that apparently
ledger. So it shows us that apparently the final status the clear winner is the GLP-1 companion. Sober Flow, which is
GLP-1 companion. Sober Flow, which is the Gen Z mindful people, for a strong secondary. And then we can see that the
secondary. And then we can see that the Hourglass AI microdrama AI as well. And
it gives you some of deployment directives, too. Should definitely check
directives, too. Should definitely check that out. Here's the roadmap for the
that out. Here's the roadmap for the Sober Flow digital wellness application in particular, and some of the infographics. SAS viability showdown,
infographics. SAS viability showdown, finding the path 20k per month. This one
and this one from idea to income the solo founder SAS viability roadmap.
Pretty cool. Yeah. Of course, there's like so many other things that you can do with this. Let me know in the comments, which of these products do you actually find to be interesting? Do you
actually find them to be interesting?
But there you go. So many different studio output, researching and learning about different business ideas. So cool,
right? Okay, let's go back to the investment portfolio stuff. Hopefully
it's done now. Oh wow, it's still going.
Okay, let's wait for a bit longer.
A few moments later.
Okay, so it told me some stuff about like what's wrong with my portfolio.
Apparently there's quite a lot of stuff wrong with it, so I'll check that out.
It also told me some grounded investment opportunities for reallocation. Okay, so
it says the global real armaments, boom.
And it says strategically I should increase defense stock. Europe is
embarking on its largest defense spending surge since the Cold War with a projected cumulative increase of 700 billion to 800 billion between 2022 and 2028 as US contributions dry up. So
strategic action is to increase my defense play. The India decoupling
defense play. The India decoupling hedge, so companies are aggressively moving manufacturing out of China to avoid tariff chaos. For example, Apple did that, and that India is poised to overtake Japan as the world's fourth
largest economy by March of 2026. So,
strategic action is the reallocated portion of my Chinese equities into broad Indian market ETFs. Got it. And a
clean tech renaissance. So, apparently I should hold more clean tech stuff. Not
financial advice, okay? And this
probably really different depending on what your portfolio actually looks like.
Also generating some assets for me as well. Not going to show you that because
well. Not going to show you that because it has too much details about what I'm actually investing in. And not that I have a problem showing you guys, by the way. It's more that I just don't want
way. It's more that I just don't want you guys to like just copy me and not think about it. That's the primary reason. Yes. So, that seems to be the
reason. Yes. So, that seems to be the case. Pretty interesting, huh? And of
case. Pretty interesting, huh? And of
course, we can also go to the studio and do a bunch of other stuff as well. But
yeah, this is like absolutely not possible to do prior to the updates in Notebook LM that lets it like do stuff like execute code now and do analysis, which is so much more powerful.
Honestly, there are so many other amazing use cases with this new Notebook LM. I wish I had more time to go through
LM. I wish I had more time to go through more of these use cases, but this video is probably already really really long.
I'm just going to put on screen some of my other use cases that I like to use Notebook LM including doing the research for making this video. Take a screenshot or not. You can also download it at the
or not. You can also download it at the link below where I have a free video companion where everything is in one place, if you like. All right, before I end this video, there is one more feature of this OP version of Notebook
LM that I want to show you.
Which is the fact that in the Gemini web app, there actually is an entire section that's dedicated to Notebook LM notebooks. There is a full integration
notebooks. There is a full integration between these, which means that you can click something like the investment portfolio and assets, which is this notebook that we were just looking at, and you can continue chatting through the web app. For example, it says here
for strategic action, I should reallocate a portion of my Chinese equities into broad Indian market ETFs.
So, I can go and ask Gemini, "What part of my portfolio should I trim in order to put into Indian ETFs?" Now, the reason why I want to ask Gemini this
question and not just Notebook LM is because Notebook LM is grounded in its sources, right? So, if you're actually
sources, right? So, if you're actually going to ask it questions that is not related to its sources, tell it to be like more creative and like think through things with you. It's actually
better to use a chatbot like Gemini instead. So, we can see here that it's
instead. So, we can see here that it's saying that I should trim some stuff like taking some profits. So, I have uh investments in knowledge Atlas technology. So, I should take some
technology. So, I should take some profits here. Again, not financial
profits here. Again, not financial advice, okay? I'm just showing you what
advice, okay? I'm just showing you what my thing is. Trimming some Chinese e-commerce and tech giants because I'm down for a lot of these. So, yeah, it's giving me some challenges about what I can be doing. I can continue chatting with it to like talk about exactly when
I should be doing this, what price points, things like that. Pretty cool,
right? This integration with the web app. You know, you can go even further
app. You know, you can go even further than this. Notebook LM does have a MCP
than this. Notebook LM does have a MCP server as well. If you don't know what that means, you can check out this video over here. But, very briefly, it allows
over here. But, very briefly, it allows you to connect your agents to Notebook LM in order to use it as part of your automations and workflows. Like say your cloud cohort where your Hermes automations, for example. I do believe
that this is not an official MCP server, but it's pretty good. You can use it to do a lot of automations. I've been using it to do automations like generating slides on a weekly basis, generating podcasts I can listen to on my commutes,
and I've also been learning more about electronics and hardware cuz I have been doing too much AI psychosis and I kind of like want to physically feel things again.
So, I also use it automatically generate different things I can build in using hardware. But, that is a topic for
hardware. But, that is a topic for another video. Maybe my next Hermes
another video. Maybe my next Hermes video, which is coming up. Thank you so much for being patient with me. So, stay
tuned. Now, as promised, here is a little quiz. Please answer these
little quiz. Please answer these questions and put them into the comments to help you retain all of this information that we have covered cuz immediately testing yourself after learning is the best way to learn, actually. And I will see you guys in the
actually. And I will see you guys in the next video or live stream.
