Must-Have $60 Mod for Alfa Romeo Giulia Enthusiasts

what we're starting about tell us what we're talking about so today we're going to do the blowoff valve that's all I got that's all you got welcome back to another very exciting episode of moern Motors today we are doing a blowoff valve we have a

lot of stuff to talk about a lot of stuff to go over I think we found the perfect recipe for a blowoff valve that's extremely inexpensive

effective and no check in of lights and it's under $70 it's like $60 something dollar that's today's video that's the premise we're going to pull this car up so we can start working on it okay if

you guys watch any of the videos talking about blowout valves diverter valves what are all these things a blowoff valve basically just dumps to the atmosphere recirculating valve basically recirculates the air these come stock

with a diverter valve if you guys saw our go fast bits video hated the gfb hated that you had to build it I did a very quick review of the bond volum how

do you say of the uh uh recirculating valve that I have in here um but right about that time I got the T from squadra uh car felt really good so I couldn't

really equate the performance gain to the recirculating valve or more so the tune and really it's going to be the tune that the obviously the majority of the improvements but um I thoroughly

thoroughly enjoy the bonum I think that's how you say it Rec circulating valve I absolutely hate go fast bits um just cuz you have to build it yourself this you don't have to build yourself and you go back to stock if you wanted

to then obviously there's turbo smart um who makes the blowoff valve some people say they run into check engine lights some people say they don't run into check engine lights personally I hate check engine lights uh if you guys

remember when I was in Pennsylvania I drove dereck's car and Dereck had this in his car this is I think it's Sila is that how you say

it it's Sila Sila Concepts wow silic Concepts don't pay attention to my nails pay attention to the product siloc concept so basically this you can put this onto your stock rder valve this is just basically a

plate that goes in between that helps you um dump to the atmosphere so we're going to try this this is going to be the best most affordable way to get your sounds um you don't have to did you

say you don't have to get an intake I know a lot of people want the intake for the sound you don't need it you can keep your stock intake get this cool little thing um and that's it that's I I don't know I I think it's kind of cool but

we're going to go ahead and install it um it comes with plates but because we have the Bon valom we need some extended ones and here are the EXT ones in this bag here's something I forgot to tell you guys the whole reason I got rid of

the carbon hood was because I was going to use the budget to go buy a hybrid turbo and I think you guys would appreciate that's the only reason I went back with the Stock hood trying to free up some

funds um have I bought it yet no I'm procrastinating it um but I promise you I'm going to buy it you're so

Sil wow dang dude one of my favorite things about running this is I can actually run all that stock uh engine cover stuff which I'm probably going to go do in a short minute but let me uh take this

off this is the booom it's a T25 I believe that I'm using to take it [Music]

off you can see that these are noticeably longer m again this is the Bon volum this is Sila

you can put this Sila on your stock diverter valve this is just a plate that goes in between the two like this like so let's oh there you

go let's get a setting point in this may hopefully you guys are enjoying this as much as I'm not I love my cards I love working on cards

but not or what I honestly just really don't enjoy the recording process I know I'm a YouTuber cuz I like I don't know if you guys are like me I like to cuss a lot

especially when things aren't going my way and I'm trying to keep my my goddaughter watches me on YouTube so I'm trying to keep it PG for you

guys this last bolt is not fun oh I don't know how you're going to get it in there wa with [Music] magic uh what's funny is the intake is

actually very overpowering um so you probably could hear a little bit better on a stock car but my car you can hear it but it's just

not as prominent as I would have assumed you kind of hear the [Music] let take a higher RPM oh you can hear it never

[Music] mind there you [Music] go you can definitely hear

it oh yeah that sounds so dope see if it's still really prominent with the uh the window

down yeah you can still hear really [Music] well yeah that is

D you know me and this channel I I like uh I like noise uh I love the intake sound I love now this BV sound I don't know why it took me so long to get it to be honest uh I could have got probably

got a lot sooner you know throwing zero check engine lights personally for me I believe that this is probably the better setup the the recirculating valve with the blow valve it's probably the more

expensive setup uh but I've yet to run any issues with uh my Bon voloom um and Derrik said he hasn't had any issues with the Sila blowoff valve so I think these two paired together in my opinion

is the best setup um you know I know a ton of people vouch for the turbo smart I know a ton of people vouch for the go fast bits so run this with your go fast bits I believe um but yeah I'm this is

going to be my recommendation if you guys ever asked me go fast bits or uh the turbo smart I'm definitely going to recommend this setup which you can buy the whole setup ready to go from

uh from menis you can buy both of them within a package deal you guys hear the turbo the tur the the not the turbo the intake is there

you go intake still very prominent so uh adjustment I recommend the ideal intake plus this uh smart blow valve sounds really

good hopefully you guys can hear it that sounds so damn good I hope you can hear [Music]

this I don't even know why I waited for so long this is a pretty cool setup hopefully you guys are going to enjoy it as much as I am and for the price point that it's at it's a pretty pretty pretty decent mod for the price

point even at low RP yeah you can hear it pretty well ah sounds so incredibly

good invest the 60 70 bucks if you are a sound type of guy this is definitely worth it you got the modded Motors approval of the cool

mod I'm actually going to Reby this entire setup for my stalia be surprised on how many more people stop me with the QV Hood versus my uh aftermarket carbon hood

I would have assumed it would be the other way around but I don't know maybe people think that this is more stock they saw the other one was probably more modified I don't know that's

dope I hope this picks up on camera I won't be able to tell until I edit it but I wanted to get your honest reaction what did you think pretty bad yeah pretty right yeah this actually pretty

cool I said I like noise Crystal went to go take the car for a drive hello baby yeah that was actually pretty cool I said oh at first I was like oh you can't really hear anything and then you pick

up speed I'm like oh wow there it is there is pretty cool yeah I should have done it sooner to be honest that's pretty sick yeah I like it it's much better for like 60 bucks it's not bad

yeah just a little noise that's what I said it's you know just make me feel a little you're not going to get any mo any performance gains but uh you know it makes me feel faster I feel like wao do

yeah you're the yeah now people know we're race we're race mode ready dude yeah I didn't sound like I was race mode ready but now I'm I'm like I'm in it yeah hopefully you
