Good afternoon from the city of Shanghai here in China.

Look at the state of the skyline.

That's what you call seriously iconic.

The big one on the right hand side is the Shanghai Tower.

And that is the third highest building in the world.

Right now, I'm in the heart of the city on this promenade overlooking the river.

This is called the Bund and the Bund stretches all the way up in this direction.

In this video, I want to get my first impressions of this absolute mega city.

I'm going to try and speak to some locals, which will be extremely difficult because literally no English is spoken here. It is Chinese or Chinese.

And I'm not going to lie, my Chinese is absolutely rubbish.

That should be funny to watch.

I want to eat some local food of course, and just see what the city has to offer.

No real plan.

So let's get going.

What I like to do when I arrive in a city as big as this is try to get as high as possible.

So I think the best way to start this video is to go up the Shanghai Tower.

Interestingly, there's actually no footbridges or even road bridges to cross this river.

Your only hope is by boat. Look, there's nothing all the way along there.

There's literally nowhere to cross.

So, these guys are queuing, if you see under there, these guys are queuing for that boat there.

But that's sort of like a river cruise, which I don't really want.

I'm more after like a river taxi. So

let's keep on moving up here.

One of the biggest challenges so far of traveling in China is the fact that Google here is blocked.

Nobody, no local uses Google, which means Google Maps isn't being updated.

No businesses use it.

No people are leaving reviews or anything, So, you can go on it with VPN, but it is absolutely pointless.

So I'm using a different map called Amap, and that is all in Chinese, which isn't ideal, but Amap has led me down here.

This is sort of like below where I started the video.

And I believe this is where you get tickets for the ferry.

I can see the ferry through there, so that's a good sign.

But I've no idea where I'm going or what I want to do here.

So, this spot over here is doing river cruises, which I don't want.

I only want to cross the river.

So, I'm not interested in that. That is 100, which is like £10 or $12.

That can't be right.

I wonder if I can just scan over here and jump on like a river taxi.

I can see 2 yuan. That is £0.20 for for something.

Let's get my Alipay out.

I'll talk about it more in the video, but this country is cashless.

So, you must use QR codes for everything here in China.

Let's go for this one.

I'm just going to scan this.

Ah, transport. I'm not going to set up.

Oh okay.

She's just activated like a metro bus card on my Alipay.

So, I'm just going to click use now. And there we go. We've got a Shanghai bus QR code now.

So you just put that into here.

Am I good?

Oh, good. Okay. Okay.

My bag. Okay.

Very strict with security here.

Wonder if my camera needs to go through as well.

Okay. See you at the other side.

Right. Done. I think that is 2 yuan, which is pretty cheap but I haven't got any notifications or anything.

It just says welcome aboard.

Swipe and ride on the app.

I'm going to jump on this thing here.

Fingers crossed it takes me to the Shanghai Tower.

So, you can sit downstairs or you can jump upstairs.

Is there a view up here?

Can you get outside?

You can.

Oh, they've got a bar in here. They're selling Lays crisps and and drinks in the fridge.

Outside, here we go.

Sorry.

There we go.

There you go.

A 2-yuan river cruise. Not a bad price.

All right, we are on the move and hopefully we're heading towards that big building.

As the sweat starts to run down my face on camera, I just want to show you the temperature to prove it is this hot.

37° feels like 42.

It's not ideal, is it?

Right, that is it. I'm getting off here.

And just like that, we've successfully navigated our first method of local transport here in Shanghai.

Very easy.

Just jump on a random boat and fingers crossed it takes you to the right direction.

But here we have Shanghai Tower.

On maps, it is an 8-minute walk.

Well, it's right there.

Come that far. 8-minute walk to the bottom of the building.

So it looks like now I've got this transport Shanghai QR code that that girl activate for me.

So that looks like it covers bus and metro.

So far honestly, the QR code payment system, so good.

I absolutely despise getting cash out in countries, handling cash.

It is so so dirty.

So the fact that China is cashless is something I'm a huge fan of so far.

Look, scan the QR code to buy a ticket.

I'm going to use my WeChat for this, so open up the app.

Pay and services. There we go.

Scanning.

Ah, okay. It’s all in Chinese now. Disaster.

Right. Bit of a problem but I have completed the ticket payment process system.

It required my passport details, a few other bits of information, but 180.

Just click pay there.

Does my face ID and I'm done.

Where is my ticket?

All done by QR code.

And there we go. My phone adult ticket.

Ticket.

Okay, perfect. And you scan. Okay.

One QR code to the next QR code.

Take it into this photo booth.

Look, this guy takes a professional picture of you.

Very good. Okay.

Okay.

Right onto the ticket gate.

So this is actually one of the fastest elevators in the world.

I believe it's 20m/s.

Pretty quick.

And there's the Guinness World Record, look, on the wall.

Fastest elevator.

Going in.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Shanghai Tower.

Now we are taking the world's fastest high speed elevator.

Fastest speed is 18 m/s.

In only 55 seconds, we will reach observatory of Shanghai Tower.

We have arrived at 118th floor. Wish you a pleasant tour.

Thank you.

Oh, that was mad. Ears popping all the way up.

Didn't want to speak in elevator because awkward.

But, hello. We've arrived.

Here's a first glimpse.

I think this is the highest, one of the highest observatories in the world.

I believe it's maybe higher than the Burj Khalifa observatory, but look at that down there. It looks absolutely crap on camera because of the glare, but trust me, we're pretty high up.

That's how big the city is. It just goes for absolute miles.

You can literally...I can't see the end of the city.

Just buildings forever.

Here's a little tip for you.

If you're coming up the Shanghai Tower or any other towers in the world, don’t come up when the sun is at the highest point in the sky.

I'm getting blinded and the glare on this glass is so annoying.

However, that is where I started the video down there.

That's where I got the boat from and I crossed the river down to here.

Walked a little bit and got myself up here.

But these are literally skyscrapers down there.

Look how small they look.

It's like a HSBC one there. That is the famous Shanghai TV tower.

That pink one right there. But look at the buildings.

This go for absolute miles.

I think I've also got access to 119.

So let's try up here.

So busy down there. Can barely even get a little gap in the window.

This is a bit quieter up here.

That's not bad. Actually, this is the best.

I'm going to get it. Look at the contrast there.

All the big buildings and then all these small buildings in there.

They must be like residential housing area.

If you bought the pass for the floor above, which is 632 you get the AI immersive cinema experience.

But I didn't go for that option because I'm not interested in cinema or art.

But if you're interested in that, that could be good.

Okay, that's enough time spent at the top, the third highest building in the world.

Time to get back down on the streets.

I just realized I gave you absolutely zero information or facts about the building I was just up.

So, this is your facts. It has 128 floors and it's 632m.

Done. No more history. Okay.

Now, I'm trying to find the metro station to take me back across the river.

Metro. This way.

Right. I do believe I can use that QR code that girl sorted me out with earlier.

So let's get that up on Alipay.

Just go Alipay and then transport.

And this should now work.

That's a red one. That's a green one. This should now work on here.

Please enter.

There we go.

Line 14. Do I want to go to Guiqiao Road?

Or do I want to go to Fengbang? I haven’t got a clue.

My destination is Yuan Guan Fengbang. Fengbang direction.

So, it's this one.

Look at how advanced this is. This is when the next train is arriving.

One minute and 50 seconds.

The one after that is 9 minutes and then 17 minutes.

And it also tells you the carriages. Look, this is how full they are.

So, this one on the left is 10% full.

So this train really should be empty because most of them are like 5%. Nice.

This metro is so nice. It's absolutely spotless, so clean and it's dead quiet as well.

Nobody's talking on the train. Big fan. Also, it's very very cheap.

Let's figure out how much this has cost. I don't actually know how much yuan cost because of that ticket I got.

But yesterday's ride when I was messing around in the city was like £0.30. £0.30 for a metro ride.

Compared to the UK, London's like £2.40 or something.

Even if you go one stop. What a ripoff. This is so much more affordable.

This is why every local is using public transport here.

Alipay now knows I'm at the station.

Welcome to the station. Scan to exit.

Comes up with the code.

I'll put it here and the barrier opens.

So good, I love it.

Okay, I'm now at Yuyuan Garden, which is a more sort of older part of the city.

So I came here to show you the contrast between the old and the new. Wow. How nice.

Obviously, I just showed you all those new buildings.

Already you can sort of get a feel for this area and how it's a bit more traditional with this lovely gate.

The Japanese style, Chinese style gate right in front of me.

I don’t want to film this guy directly behind me, but this is just to show you how like how cashless China is.

Obviously, there's beggars in China as there is in every country.

And this guy has a QR code on the ground.

So rather than giving cash, which nobody has, you just scan the QR code, type in how much money you want to transfer them and that is how beggars get their money.

Same applies to busking I guess.

I haven't seen any buskers in China so far, but I guess that's how they would get their money by playing instruments on the street.

Look, as you can see, you've got the QR code there.

We do have a little bit of cash. We do have a little bit of cash in his in his cup there, which is surprising, but he takes both methods of payment.

This is literally one metro stop away from the skyscrapers.

Look at that. So nice.

I really like how they've not like torn down these old buildings.

Look at them.

Absolutely awesome this part of town.

Literally, you can't see...Oh, there you go. There is the Shanghai Tower.

So about 20 minutes ago, I was at the top of there.

And now I'm down here, Got a little food area here.

Let’s see what's being sold.

Look at these massive big crab roll soup dumplings.

They've got straws in them. Obviously for sucking the soup out.

Shanghai is the home of the soup dumpling, the Shaolong Bao.

So maybe I’ll have to get some.

Oh, wow. It's like scallion pancakes.

Big crispy boys.

Fried meat.

These are like soup dumplings, but they've got little...they’ve been fried so a little bit crispy on the outside.

Oh, man. The smell is so good. I'm getting very very hungry.

I might need to try some of these.

Yeah. Let's go for these.

These look so good. I want to get two.

Two?

32. Okay. Oh for four. 32 for four. Okay. 32 for four. Okay.

32 for four. That’ll do me.

It's like £3 or something.

Oh man.

Look at those scallions on top.

Alipay or no?

Alipay.

Processing.

Good? Okay.

Lovely. Thank you.

I'll go back.

I think there's like some chilli or something you can add to these.

There's some chilli oil. Look that. Fresh chilli.

To me.

And this is like soy sauce maybe or ponzu.

Okay.

So you grab your food and then you go tuck in at the canteen seating area.

Absolutely buzzing in here.

Right. First meal of the day I believe this is called like Xiao Long Bao, potentially.

It basically means they're soup dumplings, but they've been fried on the bottom.

Oh, sesame seeds on the bottom.

Some black seeds on top. Not 100% sure they are.

These are going to be good. Chilli oil and like a vinegar. Wow.

A vinegar on the side. Okay.

So I think we're supposed to do here is pierce a little hole with your mouth and then suck the soup out.

That's what you do with Xiao Long Bao. I'm going to do the same with this.

Wow, they're very doughy. Really thick.

There's no soup in that one.

Let's get it dipped in the vinegar.

That's the meat inside. I think it’s pork.

Oh, I love them. I love that vinegar.

I really like sour taste.

Right. Let’s go for these are so hard to pick up with chopsticks because they're so wide.

Like stretching my hand It’s much easier with my fingers.

Let's go for the chilli oil now.

This could be dangerous. The amount of chilli.

Oh, yeah. Back in the vinegar.

An absolute flavor bomb.

The pork inside is really soft.

I've actually had something similar to these in Taiwan and it was so much more soup inside.

These ones are a little bit dry, actually even though the meat inside is moist.

These are supposed to be like filled with soup you're definitely supposed to have soup pouring out of it as you bite through them.

So, the taste is spot on. Absolutely like amazing.

I'm really big fan, but I'm going to rate them 8/10 because I do believe it should have more soup inside.

Look at all these desserts. They must be sweet.

Amazing.

Rice dishes. This is in like bamboo. Noodles.

It's like tofu I think in this one. It looks like gyoza but I'm sure it's a Chinese version.

More noodles in here and then back on the street.

This is nice. We got a full sort of like day market all the way along this street.

Look, serving beer here.

Cocktails.

Fried meat.

I'm in the mood for a drink now.

So let's keep on walking up here and try and find a Chinese drink.

Something that I've not tried before.

I'm sure it won't be too difficult to find domething.

This one's got a frozen lemon tea and ice cream black tea, Hong Kong milk.

One of my favourite drinks when I was in Taiwan was Taiwanese...

Something in my eye. Taiwanese milk tea.

I wonder if you can find that here. I'm sure you can.

This has got beer for sale over here.

Look, German wheat beer.

That's £3, 30 yuan for 500 ml.

Flavoured beer, fruit juice.

I've had all of those before.

I want something more exotic.

This stall here looks pretty busy.

Got a few customers.

LinleeR What is being sold? Some like frozen lemonades maybe.

So, usually when there's a QR code, you scan the QR code and then you get the menu.

So that's what I'm going to do now.

Right. I've scanned WeChat and it says 55m away.

So, this must be at here, Linlee. Select the location.

This is on WeChat so I've got no translation unfortunately.

So, I'm going to guess.

Let's go for that one. Lime. Lime.

Probably big or small. Let's just go for that. That looks good, no?

Order.

Done. I paid. I should get a QR code now.

What’s amazing about that is that they’ve literally taken away all the communication between the customer and the worker.

So nobody speaks to the workers.

All they're looking at is a screen.

The orders are coming through and they're just making the drinks.

So I've got a number here, T0093 And I can see a little chef emoji here. So, that must mean it's getting made.

And then when it probably moves across to the bag emoji, which means it's ready to be collected and you can sit here and enjoy. That's where I'm going to sit right there.

Thank you.

Right. Here we go with the Linlee juice.

It's lovely.

Not sweet at all. Very, very limey.

Maybe it’s tea. It is. It’s light lemon tea says on here in English.

Linlee is a brand that focuses on providing refreshing and light lemon tea.

We insist they must be pounding only freshness.

No ice free, no colouring.

Quite a strong tea flavor actually with a little hint of lemon.

There's very little sugar in there, which is surprising.

Usually these drinks in Asia are full of sugar syrup.

That's nice and refreshing. Score that one 7.5/10.

There's many things I like about China so far, but maybe the best is this.

Bins everywhere unlike their neighbouring countries.

Tremendous.

Honestly, when traveling Japan and Taiwan, and you have a drink like that, you cannot get rid of it.

You literally have to take it back to your hotel or your apartment.

It is so annoying. But there’s bins everywhere so far in Shanghai.

I'm now in the mood for something sweet.

And I see someone holding, this lady is holding like ice cube or something for 2 yuan.

Okay. Ice cream. Okay. Alipay?

This is Alipay or WeChat. WeChat. Okay.

WeChat. WeChat. Okay.

Sorry, I'm very slow.

Pay services.

And then go to Money.

Scan.

Help me.

No. Pay. Pay, pay, pay.

Money, Money. Here we go.

No.

You do Alipay? Alipay?

Alipay. Okay, Alipay. There we go.

Okay, good. Two?

Okay.

Done.

Instant pay. Okay. Done.

Oh, my god, it took so long.

I'm definitely an Alipay fan over a WeChat fan.

WeChat, I haven't quite worked out the interface, but we've got an ice cream here.

That's how...well I was supposed to say that's how easy it is.

But that actually took me way longer than it should to get this popsicle...popsicle?

popsicle...popsicle?

Well, ice cream.

Right. Here we go. Got it open on a little stick here.

Let's give it a go.

Oh wow. It's so cold. That is like I'm burning my teeth.

But it's good. I think it's like coconut flavor.

Very good.

That's like £0.20. So there are street vendors roaming the streets but most of this area definitely established shops.

A little bit of sweet. Pretty good. Scoring this one 7/10.

Let's keep on moving.

Something else I realise is the importance of having charge or battery on your mobile phone.

Because if your phone dies, you are absolutely screwed.

You cannot do anything.

You can't pay for a single thing in this country.

So there's a solution for that. Of course, there's a solution.

You can rent power banks through this app called Meituan.

Right? So all you got to do, let's just do one right now.

In English, it says you pay the deposit, you scan to rent and then you can return any time.

And these return boxes are everywhere.

Literally every single shop has them, even like small noodle shops and all the convenience stores, etc..

So I'm going to go on to Alipay here, and we're going to scan this QR code up here.

Right. That's in Chinese.

You can head to translate button.

That's going to be yes, isn't it?

Use your location. Yes.

So that is £4 for 60 minutes or return free within the first 3 minutes.

Click to log in without deposit.

Use my phone number.

So I do think I can return it within 3 minutes and get it for free.

No, it's not working.

So annoying.

Anyway, you get the idea.

A power bank pops out of here.

They’ve got all three cables, so like iPhone, usb-C, and also Android.

And then you can charge your phone, you pay that money, and then you drop it anywhere in the entire country.

Unfortunately, I cannot get one for some reason.

It's failing when it really matters when I've got the camera rolling.

But I thought I'd show you that cuz I thought it was pretty cool.

So I was wondering, what do people do when their phones are dead?

But that's the solution.

Let's pretend I rented a power bank just across the road there.

I've charge my phone, I want to return it in a location.

All you got to do is find a store and look, you can pop it straight back into here.

That's the company. Obviously, this is Energy Monster.

This must be a competitor.

And then see all those are full. Oh, no. They're full. I need to find another one.

I need to walk so far. No, you don't.

Because every single place has one, look.

The watermelon seller.

Looks good by the way. He has one, look.

You just pop it in here. Bang.

And then you can return it and keep on going with your day.

Look over there within 30 seconds, so you can get three places to pop it back in. Unreal.

Look at the bike culture. It's absolutely insane.

You can rent these very, very easily by scanning the QR code of course.

Just here everybody waits patiently at the lights on the blue and yellow bikes.

Nobody is wearing a helmet on the bicycles, but they are wearing helmets on the electric scooters.

These are electric scooters not the same as what I've seen previously in other countries.

Very, very quiet.

But I might get one of these.

But first, I need some more food.

I'm still pretty hungry, so I'm hunting for some noodles right now.

Hope I can find some just up here.

This might do instead. What's this?

Looks like some scallion pancakes.

Six, five. Well, that's cheap. That's like £0.60 or something.

This girl's frying like sausages here, look.

So you can add sausage for three.

An egg for two, £0.20 for an egg.

This one.

Chicken. This.

Okay.

Fried chicken into the pancake.

That gets slapped on.

Got some other toppings here. This looks like cilantro, some chili oil.

We got massive things of corn in this one.

And then obviously the option for Alipay or WeChat on the wall here.

Okay. Egg's good.

No, thank you.

Just one.

Okay.

Mayonnaise, ketchup. Okay.

Alipay over here. Get it scanned.

Let her put the price in.

Nine? Okay.

Instant pay. Okay.

Payment processing. Done.

Easy as that.

Oh, that is absolutely roasting hot.

Okay, let's go over there to give it a taste.

Right. Here we go on the side of the street with what I believe is scallion pancake.

Had these a few times in Taipei in Taiwan.

And they were mind blowingly good.

Let's see if the Chinese version lives up to my very high expectations.

Chicken inside mayonnaise, ketchup could be an odd combination.

Let's give it a go.

Oh, so hot. It’s tasty.

The mayonnaise is a little bit weird with this flaky pancake, to be honest.

I wouldn't have minded like a chilli sauce or something spicy instead.

The chicken is also like really on the cheap side.

I know it was only 9 yuan, which is like just over a dollar, about £0.90, but it's pretty good.

Pretty good.

But the ones in Taiwan were slightly better.

The pancakes, it’s nice, but I was actually really surprised it was frozen and she threw it onto the skillet there.

Previously it'd been rolled fresh.

I can sort of tell the difference.

Isn't quite as crispy and as flaky.

I'm scoring this one here in Shanghai a 5.5/10.

Okay, I think it's now time to rent a bike.

I found a few here, so let's go see how easy it is.

I've got the app already, and I've already put my passport information.

You need to do that basically every single time you do anything here in China.

You need to put your passport.

You need to scan your passport. So, they're collecting your details at all times and they probably know exactly where you are. But, I'm going to scan the code to ride.

I'm just going to take that one right here. And that is it. It's unlocked.

And as you can see, I'm 4 seconds into the journey.

I have no idea how much this costs, but I'm putting my phone away and let's get going.

Oh there we go.

And the handy cycle on the right here.

And you must abide by the traffic laws.

So if it's a red light, you must stop at the red light.

So there's a red light coming up here.

But this is pretty comfortable.

I'll just stop here.

Hopefully it's not a one way streets or anything because I'm absolutely screwed.

There's these electric bikes just zooming past so fast.

So, you need to be careful.

I'm going to go straight through. Looks a bit quiet up that road just there.

Here we go.

That's how you do it, boys.

That's...Oh my god. Holy... Holy... Oh my god.

They're all zoom...They're all like zooming right and left to me.

Maybe I should stay on the right. I'm going in the right and let all the electric scooters overtake me.

Oh, right. First street has been navigated.

Oh, I'm back to where I was. This is coming up to Yuyuan Garden up here.

That's a great way to see the city.

Oh god.

I went to the gym yesterday in Shanghai and my legs are already very very painful.

And this is not good for them.

Oh my god.

Look, and then you've got the people crossing the road on the green light.

And now I'm going to slip into this bike lane where the bus is.

And then the bike lane runs out.

There's a big no cycling sign over there.

But I'm going to follow these guys.

That's not ideal, is it? I can't even pedal.

I'm now on the pavement, which is not good.

Oh, no, this is actually chaos.

Look, all these bikes and then so close to the bus, look.

I want to get down to the Bund.

I think the Bund is straight on.

Because it's nearly sunset and the lights will be coming out.

Okay, we're found a little cycle path here.

So we're back on the main road.

But really, this is pretty dangerous with no helmet because these buses are zooming past.

This is a green light, so I can crack on there.

There's so many people are on these bikes.

They must be very, very affordable.

Oh, there's a nice park I can check out.

To the right hand side.

And there she is, the Shanghai Tower.

Oh, there's a few street food vendors here.

Let's check these out. Could dump this bike now.

I wonder if you can just dump it anywhere.

I'm not 100% sure.

Right. I need to get across here.

There's a place to dump the bikes over there.

Oh, no. Over here. this place over here.

Excuse me.

All right, I'll just throw it into here.

So many bikes, man.

Perfect.

Oh, good bit manoeuvring.

Right. Now you get your phone out and give it a scan.

Let's see how much that cost me.

Return. And that locks it. 1.5.

Presume that is pay 109. I got a discount 99.

That cost me £0.10.

If other countries are watching this, that is the way to do it.

So affordable man.

Oh my god.

I got a coupon code for -108. So that's costing me 0.01 pay.

It's all in Chinese, but I think that's going to work.

Probably takes me to Alipay. Oh no, they've got a big cross on the screen.

That's not a good sign.

Ah, you can't. If you pay by one of the Chinese banks, you get the discount.

But I'm going to suck it up and pay 1.09, which is less than £0.11.

I'll put it on the screen.

Alipay. Yeah, there we go. Look, instant pay 109.

That is so good. I know I only went a few minutes up the road, but I bet you that's so cheap anyway if you want to go further afield, because everybody's using them.

Looks like they're selling sausages and water. I'll take some water.

Yeah. Five, okay.

Alipay.

Turns over.

Okay.

Done. Okay.

Well deserved.

Bottle of water after an exhausting and stressful cycle ride.

Check this out. Little home gym.

Look at this. Not home gym. A park gym.

This looks proper though.

They've got actual like weights, look.

They've got weights on the machines.

So you can actually adjust it.

If you don't want the weight, you can flick it up here.

That goes in there, slides through there, and that is the weight not on the machine.

That's awesome.

Right, let's have a drink of this water and then check out some of this equipment.

Oh, it's one of the best view in the world to have a bottle of water.

Right. We got maximum weight on this.

So this is very embarrassing if I can't push this up.

Oh, we can do it, boys. Head back here. That is actually pretty decent.

And then if you want to take some off, all you got to do is Yeah, look. Slide that up here.

Yeah, look. Slide that up here.

So these are 5kg each.

Sorry, these are 50kg each.

So I was actually doing 200 there. Nah, they're five.

So, this should be lighter because I've slid two of those up.

And it is. Look at that.

You can actually come here and do a half decent workout.

This looks like a squat rack over here, look.

You down like that, no? I don't know how to do this.

Oh, you put the fingers there.

Oh, sore my legs. There we go.

Bit easy, but it's the correct movement.

We got more street food vendors over here.

Look at this.

Okay.

Oh, I get to taste one.

No 1kg. Less. Smaller.

You speak some English.

Less. 100g. 100g or like...

Okay, Have how much is that?

How much?

25. Sorry. Okay.

Okay. Fine.

Okay, okay. 25.

Half kilo. Half kilo.

25. Okay. Good.

That's enough.

35.

I want less, less. Too much, too many.

Sorry.

Alipay? Thank you.

Okay. How much?

30? Okay.

Sounds quite expensive, but okay.

Thank you.

That's way overpriced. It's like three quid for some cherries.

To be fair, cherries can be quite expensive, but I think she took me for a ride there.

Let's go munch these in a very nice park.

That guy's got a good job wheeling around on that doing the park patrol.

Tents and awnings are prohibited on the lawn.

But this is a nice park. Look.

Very clean, peaceful, no shenanigans going on.

Let's go sit on one of these rocks I think.

Got enough cherries to last me a week.

Potentially in the best spot to eat a cherry in the entire city.

Oh so good. Absolutely massive. Way bigger than usual.

So juicy inside. Overall, it's been a cracking day exploring Shanghai.

But actually, she was the first person I've spoke to today that actually had a little bit of English.

Honestly, there's so little English spoken in this city.

This is one of the most like well-known cities or like most probably touristy cities in the whole country. So

When I go to lesser touristy cities, it's going to get a little bit little bit harder for me, I think.

So, definitely need to brush up on the old Chinese, get the old Duolingo out.

But yeah, looking forward to it.

I'm going to go to some interesting spots, so if you interested in that content, make sure you subscribe so you don't miss out because I've got a lot of good stuff coming up on the YouTube channel.

I'm scoring these cherries though 8/10.

Let me know down below: Is £3 a good price for half a kilo of cherries?

I don’t know.

And we're back where the video started.

This is the Bund, considerably busier than earlier.

But what a skyline, especially in this lighting.

Wow.

That actually so much nicer than before.

Before it was a little bit bright, but now it's like golden hour.

That is honestly mad.

When I was up that Shanghai Tower, those buildings, like all those ones there, like 1 2 3 4 5 6, they were so small.

Even the TV tower. But look at those. They're massive.

Just shows how high that Shanghai Tower actually is.

This is the perfect time to jump on a little river cruise.

This is the taxi that I got earlier, the yellow and white boat.

The back section absolutely packed.

And there we have it.

One of the most iconic skylines in the world at night.

I think there's no better place to end the video than where I started.

It was definitely worth it.

I hope you enjoyed that night view of the skyline.

I've got loads of content coming up from China so make sure you subscribe so you don't miss out.

Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one.
