[music] Welcome back. Today we have quite a few

Welcome back. Today we have quite a few parts from Endora. These parts are going to be going onto our SCX30s. Now, if you guys have been watching our Instagram, you know that we've accumulated quite a

few SCX30s. So, I'm not sure exactly

few SCX30s. So, I'm not sure exactly which one we're going to put this on, but let's go ahead and uh see which one we figure out.

[music] [music] >> [music] >> All right. So, Andor sent us uh at the moment all the parts that are out for the SCX30. So, we have the ESC. This is

the SCX30. So, we have the ESC. This is

the MBL32 G2 right here that we're going to be installing into one of these SCX30s. We have the links for the SX30.

SCX30s. We have the links for the SX30.

These are the high clearance aluminum links. So, these are going to be going

links. So, these are going to be going on there as well. And then we have the drive shafts here for the SEX30. These

are stainless steel.

And then we have some cool stickers.

These look a little bit smaller than the normal stickers. So, we should be able

normal stickers. So, we should be able to put them on these without any issues and looking too offscale. This is the 1621 green Viper brushless motor that we'll be installing as well. That's

going to go great with that ESC. And

then we have here the brass knuckles we're going to be installing. So, like I mentioned, we have quite a few SCX30s now in our possession. Uh, two of which

are upgraded already with the Mofo RC parts and component. So, I have my options between a couple Jeeps to modify. Now, technically, these are all

modify. Now, technically, these are all um on the most part, I believe, Jeep.

I think these are all Jeep chassis. I

just put that Bronco one on there. Um

but yes, so these are all right now Jeep chassis, which I don't mind upgrading, but I more than likely have to take apart. They're Let me show you this

apart. They're Let me show you this piece here.

Because the Broncos come with sliders and the Jeeps do not. As far as aftermarketing, just put blank sliders.

The Jeep doesn't come with it. So, I'll

double check the box and pretty sure it does not. So, I might have to modify

does not. So, I might have to modify this to use this piece, but I'm going to be modifying modifying a Jeep chassis with all the Endor parts. And we'll see which body I want to put on there. So, I

do really like the Bronco body um over the Jeep as far as, you know, doing a little bit better crawling um especially on our new mountain blocks blocks course. So, I'm going to go ahead and

course. So, I'm going to go ahead and see if this works great for the upgrades.

Um, either way, for the Jeep or the Bronco, I'm just going to be putting it on the Jeep for this time. So, let's go ahead get on the table and start installing some of these parts. We'll

take a closer look at them as well. All

right, so we're in our little miniscale garage here. And I have added some

garage here. And I have added some different things. I probably got to

different things. I probably got to rearrange it a little bit, but we see a little life there on the side. I just

put that together. I have a video that just uploaded on that, so hopefully you guys check that out. But they're pretty cool scale scale accessories as far as the the workshop. And it's a pretty close fit to like the SCX30. And you can

see the wheel that it comes with in the kit is a pretty good size when you compare it to like the uh SCX30. So, I

just want to show you guys that real quick. Otherwise, let's go ahead and get

quick. Otherwise, let's go ahead and get the guys kind of separated out. Like

[snorts] I said, we're going to be installing these parts onto a Jeep chassis, which essentially is the same chassis. I can fit the Bronco onto the

chassis. I can fit the Bronco onto the Jeep chassis when I remove the lights from the [clears throat] Jeep. The only

thing is that the Jeep does not come with an additional pair of skid plates.

So, like you see on the mofo build, it has a blank skids here on the side that I was able to stick our accessories to, and I don't have that with the Jeep. So,

I more than likely just have to modify the skid plates on the Jeep to get it to work. But, I will be modifying one of

work. But, I will be modifying one of these chassis and then interchanging the bodies as we go. So, let's go ahead and see what we got from Endora here. This

is the Green Viper 1621 brushless motor.

So, let's go and open that up. We're

going to be installing this.

Now, I've done a few of these already, so this build should be pretty straightforward and somewhat easy as far as knowing how to get all the pieces apart and together. Um, the first time I

did it, it was a little bit difficult.

Um, but this one should be easier, especially since I'm going to be taking the Let's look at that. I'm going to be taking the links out completely. So,

this is the green. Let's see if I can get that to focus there for you guys.

Viper.

So, that will be going into maybe I'll put into the green Jeep. That actually

pretty cool. So, let's go and put that on the side. Here we have our steering knuckles. These are brass steering

knuckles. These are brass steering knuckles. Now, in one of these Jeeps, I

knuckles. Now, in one of these Jeeps, I have some weights on the stock tires from Mofo RC. So, more than likely put

those wheels and tires on this build to kind of add more weight in the front.

Let's see which one of these guys has it. I think this Bronco. Yeah. [snorts]

it. I think this Bronco. Yeah. [snorts]

So, we have the weights in there if you guys can see that. So, probably take these or maybe I'll build up this chassis.

So, we do have the knuckles there. And

then here we have the stainless steel drive shafts. This would be a pretty

drive shafts. This would be a pretty good upgrade, I think, for this model.

of crawler being so small. I think

that's going to really help that out.

Now, I haven't put too much stress on it, but I am running a brushless motor and I have seen on one of these here, I have a little bit of rubbing. That's

just because the link I trimmed one of them, but um you can kind of see a little bit of wear on that. But either

way, we're going to install that.

These are the high clearance links by Enora. look just like the larger

Enora. look just like the larger brother, the SCX 24, just tiny.

So, we have rear, front, all these tiny little See if we can get that to focus

the spacers in there.

And then it comes with a tool, which is pretty awesome. [snorts]

pretty awesome. [snorts] So tiny little parts. See if we can get that to focus. There. It does come with a tool. Pretty cool that they include

a tool. Pretty cool that they include that. I would have been hunting for that

that. I would have been hunting for that if it didn't come with it. And looks

like all we have left is just the ESC.

Now, I've done a full review on this ESC in the past on I believe one of my Bug 24 builds.

So, if you guys want to see more about this ESC, you guys can check that video out. I will speak briefly on it, but it

out. I will speak briefly on it, but it does go well with their brushless systems. And it is fairly small in comparison to other ones that are out there. This one,

I would say, is about medium to small when you compare it to other brands.

And then we take a closer look at it.

And we do have the tuning card. I think

this says on the bottom, too. It has

that piece.

Here it is. Right here.

Now, what's nice about this, not everybody necessarily likes it, but what is cool about it is it has the onoff switch right here. So, you have a power

button right there, but like I said, it's not the smallest, but we can let me see [clears throat]

when we compare it to say like This one is the Rockwolf.

It's just got that housing. If it didn't have that housing, it would actually be very similar in size to like say a Rockwolf, but it is waterproof. So, that is a good

thing if I do want to take this out on a trail and get a little bit wet. So,

these are all the components we're going to be installing. Uh, nothing too crazy and out of the ordinary except for the fact that I do have some really tiny little parts we're going to be installing for the links. This is

probably going to be my only challenge, but I'll let you guys know if I have any issues with that. And the only reason I say that is because I'm going to have taken apart all the links where in the past I've only had to take apart just the lower link. So, let's go ahead. I'm

going to take one of these apart, install the pieces in there, and uh get it working. Once I have that done, we'll

it working. Once I have that done, we'll come back and then we'll take it out for a drive. All right. So, we have all of

a drive. All right. So, we have all of the endora parts installed. It was

pretty straightforward. However, it was very timeconuming.

uh specifically with the links, just getting them all put together and being so small and getting those little uh rubber spacers on there. It was a little

bit of a task. So, wasn't as enjoyable as I'd like as far as building cars, but the first one's done and as I get uh additional components or upgrade other

vehicles should go a lot smoother. So,

just a couple things to note that I ran into as I was taking uh these apart and putting them together is I found that for these uh let me see links here when

you're inserting uh this part right here in the middle and trying to put the rubber spacers in between them. Uh I

took one of the screws that come with it. I stuck it through and then I put

it. I stuck it through and then I put the grommets on. So, that t that tended to help me a little bit. Uh, another

thing I noticed too is that uh, this metal drive shaft here when you're going through the transmission, if you put one side on and you try to put the other side on, this right here is going to move down. So, you'll have to put

move down. So, you'll have to put pressure here on this drive shaft up to uh, to sync this one. So, or to hook that one up. Just keep that in mind.

Some things I I dealt with as I was putting this together. Other than that, the links were probably the most tedious part of this whole build. But, um, you can definitely see that it does have the

clearance now. And then those drive

clearance now. And then those drive shafts do look great. And then the weight of it, I don't have my scale. And

again, I do apologize. I will get a scale here soon to weigh all of my vehicles. So, coming videos will have

vehicles. So, coming videos will have all of that. But, um, just from the feel of it, it does feel a lot heavier, uh, in the front than my stock. And I do have a stock one right here. So, this is

a stock Jeep.

And this is completely stock. And you

can kind of see that this is what it'll look like as far as the difference between the two with that Viper motor. Let me show you that motor.

Viper motor. Let me show you that motor.

It's pretty cool. And I went with a Jeep because I have green. It's kind of a matches that motor. So, um, you kind of see here that there is

not too much difference as far as space.

It's still very compact. The motor is nice and tight there. One thing that I have to say, and I think I mentioned this before, if I didn't, I'll say it again. Or if I did, I'll say it now. Um,

again. Or if I did, I'll say it now. Um,

that the Jeep does not come with sliders. So, when you look at like,

sliders. So, when you look at like, let's say a Bronco, this one's not upgraded. Let's see. This guy here, this

upgraded. Let's see. This guy here, this is my mofo build, that these sliders are blank. The Bronco comes with sliders,

blank. The Bronco comes with sliders, the Jeep does not. So, given that the Jeep does not come with sliders, I basically took apart this ESC here, and I didn't trim anything here. I'm

still going to use the stock battery for the time being. took that apart so that it's just flat. All you have to do is basically take off that one screw. You

have a little once you take this off, a little part here that you push in. And

the same in the rear and then that top piece comes off with all the ESC. I take

that out. And then you kind of see how I have that situated right there. And you

see all the inards of that ESC here on the bottom. And I just stuck my receiver

the bottom. And I just stuck my receiver there. So it is a MIA receiver. I know

there. So it is a MIA receiver. I know

Enjor makes one very similar in size to this. So I'll probably get that here

this. So I'll probably get that here soon. So, I keep this a full Andora

soon. So, I keep this a full Andora build, but I had this one at the time and I wanted to get it running. So, very

uh like I said, very nice and compact as far as the motor. Now, the uh ESC that I have here, this is the I believe the MBL 32.

Uh fits pretty snug right here. I I'd

have fit it better if I had a better slider, but given the room you have in the rear here, so this is a stock. You

see this spacer right here? What I did is I stuck that right there. So, it fits very nicely. I

right there. So, it fits very nicely. I

did have to trim these little tabs here that hold the wires for the lights. Once

I trimmed that off, it fit perfectly right there. I just threw on some

right there. I just threw on some double-sided tape.

You kind of see it's peeking out there.

It fits nicely right there.

So, pretty straightforward. Um, I did have to remove the servo to get the front links on, but again, that went on very smoothly. I'm going to show you

very smoothly. I'm going to show you guys the Let me see if I have my tool here for it.

The knuckles because they are very clean, very um, nicely cut as far as the metal, and it is brass. And then they're just you can't really get a good look of them unless you have the tire off. But

I'll take this off and I'll show you guys just so we can fully appreciate the injura quality that went into this. So that is

the knuckle there.

I did notice that this knuckle does not allow this to stick out as much to put the tire back on. So when I had my other ones flipped, I couldn't do it with this one unless I somehow I'd have to figure

that out. But

that out. But because this gets pushed in so much, I can't get the other one to catch. But

with the stock tires, even with some weights inside of them, it uh it works just fine as far as getting it back getting the wheel nut back on.

So, the build, like I said, in general is uh pretty straightforward. Now, one

thing with I I've always I don't necessarily like this plug for my micro crawlers. Um Endora and this ESC has

crawlers. Um Endora and this ESC has that, but it does come with the adapters. I'll just have to decide what

adapters. I'll just have to decide what I want to do with this. I'll probably

end up trimming it and uh adding one of these on there since all my batteries use that plug anyways. So, I have a a battery that's charged up. I'll go ahead and get that in there now so you guys can kind of see how that looks just on

the tabletop. And then we'll take it out

the tabletop. And then we'll take it out on our mountain blocks course and we will get it uh some time on that and take it through its paces on the mountain blocks course which should be

pretty good because I've done some videos already of the mofo build and the stock build all of which are very fun. I

can say that right now. The stock

uh SCX30 is a lot of fun just by itself.

I usually tend to have a couple that are stock anyways because my daughters like to play with them. Um, and the modified ones, you know, obviously do a bit better. But in general,

better. But in general, um, given a vehicle that drives great already out of the box, these upgrades tend to just make it so much smoother,

so much more capable. I don't have the shocks yet, but Endora is sending those to me. So once I get those, we'll

to me. So once I get those, we'll install those. But that should really,

install those. But that should really, really help with the way this thing crawls.

So, we go plugged in.

Now, I haven't tuned it yet. It comes

with a Let me see if I have this in here.

I'll do this here in a little bit, but it comes with everything you need to plug into the computer. Gives you a quick instructions or a location where to download

the AM32 firmware and programming guide.

So, I will be doing that so I can get it to be a little bit smoother. Um, not to say it's not smooth already, but you do have a uh point when you're

on the transmitter here and it's going smooth and slow and a little bit faster, a little bit faster, and then at some point you kind of just jump into really fast and right there. There's not really

like an in between.

So, I'll smooth that out by programming it slow and then it just goes fast. So,

it just kind of leaps into that. But

I'll show you guys what that looks like.

I'll just take a couple tires here. Uh

get some of these big ones here.

I can draw a wheel there.

See how he does.

Guess we can throw the body back on. Get

the good the full feel.

Now, I've noticed with these links, I do get a little more flex.

See how it kind of jets off there? I

need to get that programmed, but I might be stuck here. Let me see if I can get off of this. We go.

[screaming] So with the links alone, you do see it has have a lot more flex.

In my stock vehicle, that rear tire tends to pick up a lot.

Uh even on the mofo, the mofo RC is a little more droop with that extra weight from the drive shaft and the links.

>> [screaming] >> very smooth.

And then again, you see that slow crawl there and then full throttle.

So, I don't know if you guys saw any of my Instagram posts. I took my mountain blocks course, took some pieces off of it, and uh made a kind of like a race course for my daughter and I, and she is

addicted. So, I believe she was racing

addicted. So, I believe she was racing this stock Jeep and I was racing this stock Bronco. And uh in the video, she

stock Bronco. And uh in the video, she she falls down, but she kept moving it forward. So, that was pretty funny. But

forward. So, that was pretty funny. But

this guy's a lot quicker. So, I might have to just tell her, "Oh, yeah. Dad is

going to use a stock truck." And then I'll race her with this one. See what

she does. [laughter]

So, anyways, I'm going to go ahead and take this out on the course just as it is. Now, I've noticed that I haven't

is. Now, I've noticed that I haven't modified this body. I have another one that is modified that's a bit lighter. I

forget which one it is, but this one's just a stock vehicle. I took off the rack and other pieces. So, obviously,

you can see that body there, but this one is stock in the sense I haven't cut the windows or done any weight reduction other than taking off those components.

So, I'm going to go ahead and uh take it out and we'll see how it does on the course. I do really like the tires on

course. I do really like the tires on the stock uh Jeep more so than I like or the tires that are on let's say I don't

know if I have one here, the Bronco. So,

you can see the tread on the stock Bronco tire compared to the Jeep tire.

So, I do like that. Uh very grippy there.

And eventually I might get some other wheels like I did here. And I'll put the stock tires on there.

But let's go ahead and take this out.

See how it does on our course. There's a

couple little hard lines that are a little bit difficult for the SCX30s I found. I'm going to see how it does on

found. I'm going to see how it does on those. Um, and just take it through just

those. Um, and just take it through just a normal run on the course. So let's go and do that now. All right. So we have our Endura build with all the goodies that Enzora has to offer right now

installed. Let's go ahead and take it on

installed. Let's go ahead and take it on our mountain blocks course. I do have this linked in the description as well.

This is the squatch, the largest of the mountain blocks, but they do start at about $349, so you guys can check those out as well. I'll be doing a review on the smaller base camp version and uh

show you guys what that comes with. But

take a look at this smooth crawling with that little green Viper motor in there.

See if we can see some of that clearance there from those highest clearance link links there.

It is a lot more weighted than my other build I have with the mofo parts. Even

though that one has brass, I can really feel the difference just with those drive shafts. I'm not sure how much

drive shafts. I'm not sure how much difference in driving those brass knuckles are going to make, but so far this thing hasn't struggled.

Usually up that one first incline there, it tends to get stuck a little bit and then right around here. Right there, you kind of see it, but up and over, no

problem.

I really didn't notice too much of a change in the steering angle with the new knuckles, but so far

so good.

I'm going to take this down a little more difficult path. Let's go this way.

See if I still got my decent one-hand driving skills.

All right, let's see if we don't take a tumble here.

Really using that slow crawl.

Basically need to come up. Oh. Oh. Oh,

no. Nope. Didn't make it. Let's start

that over again.

[clears throat] [snorts] These little SCX30 are super capable.

Like I said, out of the box with some small upgrades, it should shouldn't have too big of an issue making this. I'll try my hardest to show you guys what I'm trying to do

here. There's like a little divot there,

here. There's like a little divot there, and I'm trying to make it so that it doesn't roll.

And this Jeep might just be too topheavy.

Or maybe I need to come at it a little bit differently. See if I can reverse.

bit differently. See if I can reverse.

But no. Let's try that one more time.

Try that a little bit more wide.

See if I can just hug that corner there.

Come across a little more wide.

All right. Well, let's start this up here.

We'll come back to that one. I'll see if I can do it. I think I've done it before. I just uh like I said, having

before. I just uh like I said, having two hands, I might be a little bit better at that, but we'll see.

Oh, somebody got stuck there. So, get

out of it. There we go.

again. I'll have to compare this to my other video, but I know I don't even know if I've done too many videos of the stock SCX30s on here. I just got the course not too long

here. I just got the course not too long ago. So, see if we can cross over right

ago. So, see if we can cross over right here.

Think I might lose it with that rear tire but let's just give it a try.

Oh no, didn't make it. [laughter]

See if we can make it over this gap here.

The Jeep's just a little bit too topheavy. Let's come at it like this.

topheavy. Let's come at it like this.

Now, there are other bodies. I think

Proline makes a decent one. So, I might pick that up just for the sake of being a little more capable without these bodies being so topheavy.

I've come very close to this particular obstacle right here before and every time doesn't seem to want to do it. So, start

one more hard obstacle and then we'll come all the way around the course. But

I really like that this thing just takes on just a quick cruise through the mountain blocks course. Oh, let's see if we can

blocks course. Oh, let's see if we can do this here. Right here is where there's always an issue.

My right wheel eventually will come down and then it'll start leaning.

See, I'm hooked up right there.

That servo so far being stock has been not giving me any issues. So, it's a good thing. See if it come off of that.

good thing. See if it come off of that.

[snorts] Oh, right here's where it always happens.

Oh, so close.

See if we can take it slow.

Nope. [sighs] It's always right there.

Essentially my what I'm trying to do is take this little guy coming up here and I've got him to fall down like this and then every time I get right here he tips. So I've tried it with a Bronco

tips. So I've tried it with a Bronco body. I've tried it with stock. I've

body. I've tried it with stock. I've

tried it with lightly modified. I tried

it with mofo. Trying it out with Endora.

It's just right here. That rock right there is the issue. Once I hit that rock and I get over it, it's all fine. But

then it starts to lean right there. You can

see that angle. If I could just get it to get on that rock and every time right there. We will do this eventually. Uh just this isn't the

this eventually. Uh just this isn't the body for it, I don't think. And maybe a little more weight in the front potentially do it. [laughter]

But so far this thing uh very smooth.

Like I said, if you look at the See if I get the under carriage there coming up over these rocks on the course, taking them on.

I get the shocks probably in about 10 days or so from Endora. And then I get a skid plate that's brass also from Enjura. Once those come in, I'll install

Enjura. Once those come in, I'll install those and we'll come back to this course and we'll see if we can do any of these lines that I was trying right now with those upgrades. I'm not sure how much of

those upgrades. I'm not sure how much of a difference they'll make, but it should uh

definitely add some good weight to it.

Coming downhill is not a problem.

You know, there is another part of this course that proves difficult for the SCX24.

See if we can make it over there.

and we'll see if I can do it and catch it on camera.

I've done it only once in a mostly stock Bronco.

Let's see if we can do it here while on video with one hand. But

essentially, what we're going to attempt now is we're going to try to make this right here with all that ground [laughter] on the bottom. Uh, let's see if I can maybe push this course over

just a little bit so that I don't fall off all the way to the ground. Since I

don't have anybody recording for me, I'd hate for it to fall all the way down.

So, just scoot that over just a little bit.

All right, let's see this Jeep and do this line that larger cars have struggled with smaller cars. Well, we

don't really know. We don't really know because uh not too many of them have driven on this course. So,

but these Endora parts, I think we might be able to get close at the very least.

Really like how slow that crawls.

We'll see if that weight keeps everything down low so I don't tip here.

Again, I've done it with the Bronco and when my camera smashes into the Jeep, it's big because I'm trying to catch it. So,

catch it. So, let's see.

Looks like we're just about halfway there. If it could just hold on right

there. If it could just hold on right here.

If it can just hold on and start to straighten out. I don't think it is. Oh,

straighten out. I don't think it is. Oh,

didn't make it.

Well, you know, these driving portions of my videos people tend to like. So,

let's try this again.

I do have some other brass knuckles coming in. Not brass knuckles. Um, with

coming in. Not brass knuckles. Um, with

the skid plate uh coming in like I mentioned, I think that might help it a little bit.

It gets really close right here.

Um, some I think maybe I should just speed up and just push through it, but it's wanting to drop off right there.

It's just so close. I think it's just the little bit too topheavy on that Jeep, but very close. We will conquer that as well. We'll come back to that.

[laughter] But overall, these upgrades have made a significant difference from the stock because with a stock vehicle, I'll get hung up on some

things. I'll uh

things. I'll uh definitely get snagged.

So far so good. I'm going to go ahead and uh call this good on this initial test with all the Endura parts.

A lot of fun. Maybe next time I'll test it out with the Bronco body and maybe next time we'll have that uh Proline body installed with some other good goodies from Enjura. So, very nice. I do

have all the parts will be linked in my description. Thank you guys for

description. Thank you guys for watching. If you guys have any

watching. If you guys have any questions, let me know. I'll be sure to answer those. Talk to you guys next

answer those. Talk to you guys next time.
