all right guys today we are out here in the barn uh yes i know the barns are wrecked but we are out here talking about lights um

a company called hyperlite hit me up um you know said they watched the channel noticed i could use some lights in the barn and wanted me to do review on their lights i

don't do a lot of reviews on this channel mainly because i just don't have the time i have way too much going on um and

to be honest i'm upfront with whoever's wanting me i get hit up all the time i mean five or six times a week to do reviews on products and different things i'm upfront with them i'll tell them

straight off the bat if your product sucks i'm going to say it sucks some people shy away from that they want they think if they send you something and you don't have to pay for it then you're going to get a good review

i don't need the stuff so i'm honest about it uh if i don't like it i'm going to tell you so anyway they sent me some lights really cool bunch of people to deal with

they i gave them the dimensions of the barn you can do this as well you can give them dimensions of your structure whatever it is that you're that you're needing the lights for and they will make a 3d model

and tell you exactly where to put the lights and then they'll send you the results of that 3d model and show you what the light output's going to be in different places

i already have lights here in the barn they're not real bright i mean they're they're fairly bright for what they are uh i put these in about a year ago

i think i paid 60 for all of them and we've already had one of them go out so it needs replaced anyway the model that they sent me for this

barn was if i had no lights at all and since i already have lights i change it up to do what i want to do not sure how it's going to work i'm going to get these out of the box

and we're going to check everything out run them down the center and see what that looks like i'll probably wait till it gets a little darker over here at midday

to see the difference you know i can i can take some of these lights out or take them all out and run just these new ones and you know we'll see what the difference are between them

i took one out of the box already and plugged it up and they are bright i think these are 22 000 lumens uh the ones they sent me so let's get these things out of the box see what all is in here and uh

start hanging these things up and see what they look like [Music] it comes with a full instruction manual giving you all the details

all right it also comes with a safety cable um you can put this on your hook where you hang it up if you want or this

is mandatory in a lot of industries to have a safety uh safety cable in any overhead lighting all right guys got all these unboxed uh fit and

finishes great on them i got to be honest um they're not real heavy but i mean they they're they're heavy enough they don't feel cheap it's really cast heavy cast aluminum structure with all this heat

sink and yeah so far i'm impressed [Music] let's hang them up and see what they look like i think you can already see

the difference that they make i have pre-wired everything all my receptacles are in so i'm gonna get all four of these run up the ladder and plug them up to see what they look like

[Music] all right there is just there is no comparison on the light output in here now versus just a few minutes ago uh they

they're a lot it's a lot brighter in here um [Music] i honestly think that i could light this whole barn with just these four lights um i think these four lights will be

brighter than the six lights i had before now i'm gonna take you up here and show you it's not too dark i had to turn the lights off it's just too bright once you get up

here but i'll take you up here and show you how i have them mounted all it is i have this hook which is a 3 8 little eye hook

eyelet eyelet and these just sit right on it i just run this set screw down to keep it from you know while you're moving stuff around you won't knock it off of there

got it plugged into my receptacle i just took the safety cable and ran it through just mainly to keep it out of the way i am not using a dimmer by the way

no dimmer um yeah i don't need a dimmer but if you have a smaller area and it's too bright like i said before you can use the dimmer so that's it we'll come back this

evening and see what it looks like when it gets dark outside all right guys you can see how bright it is in here now that it has gotten dark you see

it's dark outside now that it's gotten dark i will unplug all of these lights let's see how should i do this

let's um i'm going to turn off turn off the old lights and run off just these four and see what we look like all right the

only lights i have on in here now are these four led lights right down the center and it's more than enough for for this size barn this is a 24 by 40

barn i have 10 and a half foot ceilings with these lights it's all you need i don't even need the other ones anymore [Music] so

so far i'm impressed um i don't know we'll see how long they last but they're they seem to be pretty heavy duty so as of right now we're getting a thumbs

up for me we've been using these lights for the last few weeks um i've been leaving them on for you know extended periods four five six hours just to check and make sure you know

they're gonna last they're gonna you know not give me any issues i will go up there every once in a while and check with uh we get to put the ladder up there and check them they do get warm but they haven't really been getting hot so they have plenty of

heat sink to pull the heat away from the from the led chips so that's a good thing but i love them i mean they're bright there's so much more light in this barn now um i mean i had light

before but it was it was nothing like this so i'm gonna say yeah i highly recommend these lights so that's it i'm gonna end this one right here uh there will be a discount
