All right, y'all. We are
right, y'all. We are out here Bali. Hopefully you guys can hear me. All right, let me know in the
hear me. All right, let me know in the chat.
Just uh felt compelled to uh say hello to everyone. Hope everyone's enjoying
to everyone. Hope everyone's enjoying their holidays.
You know, 2025 coming to a wrap and what a year it has been.
Um this year we're doing some reflecting you know and damn it has been epic you know in December every year I like to
take a step back and reflect on the year that has been you know it's almost like therapy right it's just uh being able to kind of write out my thoughts um and
really think about the successful moments the wins the challenges the obstacles um the good times the experiences the relationships
um that really set this year apart. Um
is always a great time for that, you know. So, you know, in this video,
know. So, you know, in this video, thought I would just kind of uh chop it up with you guys and share some of the stuff that's kind of on my mind. Pretty
raw, pretty unfiltered. Um but I think uh that's how you guys, you know, enjoy these. So, I mean, my real goal in 2025
these. So, I mean, my real goal in 2025 was really to optimize for peace, right? Uh for me,
you know, it all comes down to, you know, peace, profit, and purpose. And this year was
full of that, right? Peaceful moments.
spent mountain biking in the Dolommites, 24-hour sun in Norway, relaxing here in Bali, and doing tons of yoga, meditation, all that good stuff in Ubud.
You know, it's been full of profit, you know, record year across the portfolio and excited to kind of see where things go as I think we're setting ourselves up
for probably the most insane transformative trajectory ever of my life in 2026, which I'm stoked about.
And then on the purpose side, honestly, never felt more fired up. I think uh you know, the team that I've been able to curate at Founder OS is really second to
none. Um being able to work with insane
none. Um being able to work with insane creatives producers videographers uh you know, designers, hackers, uh you
know, we've got some insane talent um inside of the company. Um, and honestly, most days got to pinch myself that I get to work with such talented people
building Founder OS, um, it's the [ __ ] dream to be honest with you. So,
uh, when I kind of then think about, you know, some of my highlights for this year, right, it's anything from just the little moments all the way through to
massive wins, right? For
me, uh, you know, it's as simple as just like really sticking with an awesome morning routine every day, being able to go do yoga a few times a week, wake up,
have my espresso, get my four hours of founder flow basically every single day of this year. Um, and um, just staying consistent, you know, staying in the flows, staying in the pocket, you know,
um, whether winds, challenges, obstacles, crazy [ __ ] going down because, you know, that's kind of sometimes a journey, you know, I was able to stick with it. Um, and I'm proud of that, you know, pr proud of just
putting in good creativity, good writing, good design day after day. Um,
and, uh, doing stuff that I'm genuinely proud of. Um, when it comes to
proud of. Um, when it comes to larger scale wins, uh, you know, we've had our biggest profit months back to back at Founder OS. Uh, you know, we just hit 200K subscribers here on
YouTube, which has been amazing. We're
close to hitting a million on Instagram.
We surpassed 850,000 organic followers on LinkedIn, 200k plus email subscribers, uh, you know, so many other behind-the-scenes wins um that I could
bore you with. Um, that are just, you know, really helping us build what I believe is the most impactful founder community and experience in the world.
Um, so we've been doing some cool [ __ ] We just wrapped up the Bali founder experience uh where we had 30 high growth founders all growing their founder brands removing themselves from
operations and that was a ton of fun and super impactful and you know we've been able to really I think just all the while amidst all this
growth stay really true to the essence of the brand uh you know the essence of the brand really being you know we want to create what Apple did for creatives
in the '7s What Nike did for athletes in the 80s is what we're trying to do for founders in the 20s. Create this
aspirational beautiful tasty fun you know, masterpiece for founders. Um, this
luxury founder experience um that really inspires them and uh and just gets people talking. You know,
my goal with every single piece of content that we create, it's almost like a work of art, right? And we want that piece of content for someone to see it, be inspired by it, and then want to go
and share that with five friends and go and share it in their company Slack with 20 people in their company Slack. And so
to do that, you know, it takes a lot of creative juices and, you know, creative vibes and, you know, inspiration and really just leaning into the kind of stuff that I would want to see as a
founder, right? I want to see a lot of
founder, right? I want to see a lot of value. Do I want to see real deep
value. Do I want to see real deep systems, but then I also just want to get a sense to know who the person is and how they think and their philosophy and the psychology behind creating a
great founder brand. A brand that isn't just beautiful or aesthetically pleasing, but when you're putting it out there almost feels like it's reading your mind, right? I think that inside of
my own brand, right? I think that, you know, we all have a collective dream, which is probably why you're even following me here um on YouTube, right?
You know, beyond, you know, going and learning audience growth or funnels or how to go and position yourself, niche down, how to create video content, video workflows, how to sell a course or a
community or a mastermind or whatever it may be, right? There's a core energy, I think, that we all share, right? Right. And
it's that energy that I try to put through in this content and the videos and the vibes that we put out, right? An
energy um that really is about doing work that aligns with your mind, body, soul, and spirit, right? Doing [ __ ] that fires you the [ __ ] up because life is
too short to do [ __ ] you hate. It's also
too short to choose whether you should great build a great life or a great business because the truth is why not both, right? And so I want to go and
both, right? And so I want to go and build [ __ ] that when I look back when I'm 85, I'm like, man, you [ __ ] lived. You built some [ __ ] You helped
lived. You built some [ __ ] You helped some people. You served humanity in an
some people. You served humanity in an in amazing way. At the core, my mission is to unlock my full creative potential
and unlock the creative potential of 100 million founders. And so this content is
million founders. And so this content is really with all of that in mind. Really
just trying to inspire people and trying to really just, you know, kind of push the needle there, you know, and really show people what's possible. Um,
now it also involves, you know, really, you know, kind of, you know, creating this basically a psychoraphic, which is, I think, this
underserved niche. You know, the idea
underserved niche. You know, the idea that you just got to work hard to be successful is a load of [ __ ] right? And
I believed that for years and it burnt me out. It nearly killed me. You know,
me out. It nearly killed me. You know,
running my first company, Bitmaker, you know, it was running me into the ground.
You know, I started with four other founders. I hated my life. It was my
founders. I hated my life. It was my biggest mistake was having co-founders because truthfully, I'm more of a solo kind of guy. I'm a lone wolf when it comes to building businesses. I like to get started on it on my own, control the
business, and build a team of weapons my way around me. Um, I don't like co-founders. That's my own personal
co-founders. That's my own personal thing. And so in that first business, I
thing. And so in that first business, I was depressed. I was anxious. I was
was depressed. I was anxious. I was
drinking, smoking, doing anything just to numb the level of tear, anger, anxiety that I felt day after day.
Building a business that honestly I just [ __ ] hated. Um, and so I felt trapped, right? I felt like I um had no
trapped, right? I felt like I um had no control, right? I'd gotten into business
control, right? I'd gotten into business because I wanted to have true freedom.
Um, but sure enough, I had built my own prison. And so this experience really
prison. And so this experience really taught me the value, right? in systems,
right? And having mentors and a community. You know, entrepreneur
community. You know, entrepreneur doesn't entrepreneurship doesn't need to be this kind of single player game, right? It's meant to be a multiplayer
right? It's meant to be a multiplayer game. You can control your whole
game. You can control your whole business on like a cap table side while also having an amazing community kind of like a personal board of adviserss around you of different mentors that help you in different areas of your
business. And you know, as I reflect on
business. And you know, as I reflect on this year, I'm really proud of myself, honestly, on the kind of people I've been able to surround myself with. I
think that's probably one of my biggest superpowers. You know, legends like
superpowers. You know, legends like Seem, Will on the kind of offer side, on the content side, legends like Diego,
Nick, Caleb, on the, you know, sales side, folks like Cole, uh, you know, Daniel and other legends. Um, on the, you know, customer success side, legends
like Sean, Yelena, Claire.
on the, you know, cinematography side, folks like Sam, folks like Railin, you know, yeah, the list goes on. And
so, you know, I've probably all in all bought got like a hundred mentors in a way that I've structured all around the core areas that I need to grow, whether it's, you know, a therapist to help me with my own mental state and energy all
the way through to, you know, health coaches to help me dial in my blood work all the way to then folks to help me with creativity or writing or the book
or YouTube offers, scaling, getting past $3 million a month, you name it. Um, so
you know it it takes a team here you know um and yeah some people are asking is this pre-recorded? No this is uh me this is
pre-recorded? No this is uh me this is live. Um so good to see you guys all see
live. Um so good to see you guys all see we got some legends here um from India.
Um and uh yeah listen the solo game can be hard you know. Um, I'm not saying that this [ __ ] is easy. That's for sure.
You know, never said it's easy. But I
feel feel like as I've grown my business, um, there are some simple systems that you can put in place to really help you go and level up. So, it
doesn't all need to come down to hard work, right? Um, and so,
work, right? Um, and so, you know, my mission and what I'm happy and inspired by what I accomplished this year is that, you know, I'm really here
to inspire, right? Um, and you know, in some weird way, you know, my mom would always tell me when I was younger, you know, Matthew is this meaning in Hebrew, I guess, which is gift from God, right?
And I would spend nights often praying, being like, "Please God, you know, help me do my best and be the best version of myself." Um, and I think there are two
myself." Um, and I think there are two major things that every founder needs in their life, right? They need purpose, and they need to then actually execute on it, right? And I think that we're all put on earth for this reason. And it's
our duty to really discover and execute on our core purpose, right? It's our
highest calling. And so I'm proud of myself more than anything this year because I don't need to chase anymore, right? I feel like I've built a
right? I feel like I've built a business. I've built a life around my
business. I've built a life around my purpose. Every day I get paid to really
purpose. Every day I get paid to really lean into, you know, what makes me me really, right? And what makes me
really, right? And what makes me special. Um, I lean into really just
special. Um, I lean into really just creating an amazing community around me.
I lean into creating amazing content and being creative and building a team around me of people that I want to learn from. Um, I lean into my own health. Um,
from. Um, I lean into my own health. Um,
I travel, live a life of freedom, and then inspire other people to do the same. Um, I, you know, really cultivate
same. Um, I, you know, really cultivate an amazing network around me of people that are all doing big [ __ ] so that I can be inspired by them and then I can inspire you. Um, I'm always learning
inspire you. Um, I'm always learning aggressively. Read about a book a week
aggressively. Read about a book a week this year. Um, and lots of awesome
this year. Um, and lots of awesome lessons there. Um, I get paid
lessons there. Um, I get paid essentially to storytell, right? And to
build great systems for my business and then just open source those systems to folks like you guys. So you guys can learn from the stuff that's currently working for me in my portfolio of online companies that are now doing over $13
million a year. And really, I get to lean into just building leverage daily, right? hiring great people, building
right? hiring great people, building great products, prioritizing uh business lines that have great profits, and really just setting my audience on fire and helping thousands of other founders
set their audience on fire. Because my
belief is that having your own founder brand, right, is the most powerful form of leverage you can build as an entrepreneur, especially going into 2026 where I think that this movement, right,
of you know, people following people, right, is what it's all about, right?
It's no longer companies that control the narrative. It's you. Yes, you.
the narrative. It's you. Yes, you.
Right. Your brand, your vibe, your energy that controls the narrative, right? And what an amazing day and age
right? And what an amazing day and age that we live in. We don't need to rely on CNN or Netflix or anyone really to control that narrative. We get to control the messaging, right? We control
what we put out there at your fingertips behind this mic, right? You just get to turn this on. Here I am, you know, in Bali posted up. Got the janky setup
here. If I can show you. We're just
here. If I can show you. We're just
here, you know, out here living. I've
just got some little rinky dink setup here by the pool and uh you know, you just turn this on and boom, before you know it, you're streaming to like hundreds of
thousands of people, right? What a what a life. You know, what a what a day and
a life. You know, what a what a day and age we live in. you know, I'm pretty sure back in the day entrepreneurs had to use like a carrier pigeon uh to go and you know, spread the message, right?
And now, you know, we don't need to use carrier pigeons anymore. You know, this is like, you know, we just get to turn on a freaking microphone. Shit's kind of simple when you think about it, right?
So, I'm proud because this year I think we've served around 4,000 founders inside of Founder OS. Really helping
them go build their personal brands, grow their audiences across YouTube, LinkedIn X, Instagram, helping them grow their newsletters and the infrastructure behind everything. Because truthfully,
behind everything. Because truthfully, I think there's this core shift happening right now that Founder OS and myself are kind of at the center of, which is exciting to me. I feel like everything I've done over the last 17
years building multiple profitable companies um has all come down to like this core moment in a way um which is that people are no longer operators right and
your job is no longer work hard as a founder um and I'm not negating hard work I'm just saying it's not the core thing right the main thing now is to shift the identity um of building to
being an architect and now let me explain so when you're going and building a company, right? It's one
thing to go and create the content out there, but if you just do the content and you work hard on that quickly, you can find you're kind of spinning your tires and you get on the content hamster wheel. Now, on the other side, right,
wheel. Now, on the other side, right, founders will get their offer dialed in.
The pricing, the psychology, the benefits, the bonuses, they've nailed it, but the thing is, no traffic's coming to it, and they can't figure out what's going on. They're making a bunch
of content, they've got a badass offer, but something's broken. And it's this architect thinking that is the number one thing that I see most founders
needing to start to embody, right? It's
being the designer of systems be and owning those systems around your business and delegating them to weapons on your team, not a bunch of donkeys. Uh
that is really going to help set you apart, right? And so what we're really
apart, right? And so what we're really trying to do here um is help people go and architect their dream business and life, right? That's what it's about. And
life, right? That's what it's about. And
so when you think about architecting things, right, it's architecting the right system to nurture folks, right? So
that you're not just going and putting out content and then having an offer and coming across salesy and selling your soul online. It's being able to have the
soul online. It's being able to have the right infrastructure in place. So,
you're capturing emails, which are one of the most valuable assets you can have in your business. You're nurturing folks in your email list. You're driving the things whether it's workshops or master classes or even letting them know how
you can serve them inside of that email list. And then driving those folks to
list. And then driving those folks to your product, your service, whatever it may be that you're selling because this infrastructure I'm speaking about is timeless and it works across whatever
industry that you're in. And so, you know, I'm really proud of this year being able to go and inspire people to become more architects of their future, architects of their personal media
companies, building the right system, structuring the right team, um, how to really go and build leverage around themselves and actually be media first founders, right? Where they have their
founders, right? Where they have their message out there being spread to thousands of people. they're capturing
that audience and own their emails, building a real asset that continues to compound not just over the next year of their lives or the next decade, but I'm talking about until they die, right? So,
as you can probably tell, that's jazzed me up a lot this year. Um, it is some that I have seriously um enjoyed. Um,
and um this is really uh to me uh what it is all about. And so, you know, when I go and think about some of my health highlights, right, it's, you know, I've
dialed in my blood work, um, and continue to kind of be able to just dial in my health based on following the data and what's working there. I've been
taking a lot of time to rest, unplug, um, live a lot slower, which has been amazing. I think a big thing is really
amazing. I think a big thing is really for me making sure I'm downregulating my nervous system through yoga, meditation, breath work, saunas, cold baths, um, and just rest, right? and being able to just
slow down. I've been listening to
slow down. I've been listening to different yoga nidra meditations before bed um to kind of doze off to sleep, get my eight hours and really by dialing that in and also really refining where
I'm building my home. Um you know right now as I mentioned uh I am in Bali, Indonesia. Um
Indonesia. Um and I am posted up here in Bali as you can see. We're just in the crib relaxing
can see. We're just in the crib relaxing and uh yeah so I think it's also important to find a location in life that really inspires
you. And for me um I've learned over the
you. And for me um I've learned over the last year or so that Bali is one of those spots for me. this and the Dolommites um will be the homes I build in 2026 and really focused on dialing in
um a legendary uh yeah just compound in Dojo here in and around Ubud, Indonesia and then uh
building a farm in the Doommites um where I can host um epic retreats for founders um really dial in um a spot for creativity, for peace, for calm,
mountain biking in the summers, epic snowboarding trips in the winters, unbelievable hikes, um you name it. Just
trying to really architect um that dream life and be able to yeah, you know, just just freaking live.
Um on the relationship side, you know, big shout out to legends like Sean on the founder success side at Founder OS, Claire, my sister, chief of staff, who's always had my back. Franchesco, the
legend running Herb, who's always pushing the needle there and has been a good friend now for over a decade. uh
folks like Johnny who I was able to meet up with in London. Um who's been a best friend um running like a hundred million dollar SAS uh rollup and is a legend that I've known for 20 years now and someone I'm always inspired by and
grateful to call a best friend. My
brother who's always had my back since day one. Um and being able to
day one. Um and being able to yeah just kind of uh cultivate these sort of relationships. Oh that uh
you know I'm really grateful for. Um,
and so, you know, the teams at Herb, the teams at Founder OS, I am eternally grateful for.
You know, I think we're building the best team, you know, in each industry, bar none. Um, it's always been about not
bar none. Um, it's always been about not just building a great company in that industry, but building a great company, period. Um, which is exactly what we're
period. Um, which is exactly what we're doing.
And, uh, you know, the team grew fast.
At Founder OS, I think we doubled the team this year. Uh we are on track to probably double again uh in 2026, but while also keeping it, you know, feeling like a really small team, keeping that
magic that we've had since day one, keeping things insanely simple. Um
always bringing solutions, not problems, having that ownership mindset. Um you
know, that figure it out mentality, that relentless resourcefulness. Um, and uh,
relentless resourcefulness. Um, and uh, you know, always pushing the needle and being [ __ ] obsessed with design, with copy, um, and creating this amazing
founder experience. Um, and so,
founder experience. Um, and so, you know, some highlights, uh, was able to, you know, surpass last year's revenue,
um, and grow significantly this year at Founder OS. Um, some amazing hires, um,
Founder OS. Um, some amazing hires, um, legends like, um, Yan on the design side, who's a legend. um Memo on the
editing side, uh Daniel on the closer side, and the list goes on. Um you know, we released a bunch of new AI tools and an agent inside of Founder OS. That was
really exciting. Um we hit 230,000 subs here on YouTube. Uh you know, we hit over 85,000 followers on LinkedIn. Um, we hit 100 or
sorry, we hit 200,000 uh newsletter subs. Um, you know, 360K people on X,
subs. Um, you know, 360K people on X, 950,000 on Instagram. So, things are moving, you
on Instagram. So, things are moving, you know. Um, pretty crazy to think that
know. Um, pretty crazy to think that four years ago this didn't even exist, right? And how far um it's all come is
right? And how far um it's all come is pretty pretty amazing. And so, you know, as I think about
really uh, you know, some of the things I'm looking to lean into um, this year, one of the main themes is insanely
simple, right? I think that life can be
simple, right? I think that life can be over complicated sometimes, right? And
we constantly add new things and add more stuff we got to do. And what I'm really trying to do is get life down to its essence, right? like leaning into community, uh, leaning into, you know, just the businesses that I have now and
just going deeper in what we're already doing versus trying to do more things, prioritizing subtraction over addition.
Um, and yeah, really just, yeah, just kind of keeping things simple, you know, staying healthy, uh, you know, building an amazing community
around me, uh, building a home or a couple homes, and yeah, yeah, just having fun. On the other side of things,
having fun. On the other side of things, um, continuing to lean into this principle that I've kind of come up with recently, which is like details create cash. Um, I don't want to tolerate
cash. Um, I don't want to tolerate anything less than the vision and the values that I have, right? Because in
life, you get what you [ __ ] tolerate.
And so for me, it's being ruthless um about the details, whether that's details in a video or on YouTube or in the design of what we're creating or the experiences that we run, really
cultivating that level of detail um that we become known for, right? People can
feel the love, the artistry behind what we do because we actually [ __ ] care.
And so it's leaning into that more and more and keeping that bar really [ __ ] high uh because uh inevitably um yeah as
things grow um and any company and any vision um it is destined to revert to the mean right um it will get mediocre or uh move to complacency if you're not
careful. And so, uh, for me, I'm really
careful. And so, uh, for me, I'm really focused on keeping that bar high, going above and beyond, um, and building a team of weapons around me, um, that can
really embody that founder OS way, right? Which is like a maniacal, uh,
right? Which is like a maniacal, uh, focus on the details and always going above and beyond in everything we do, always going the extra mile, right? Um,
so details create cash because details are the pixels, the colors, the words, the copy, um, the intricacies involved
in creating a really legendary brand.
Um, gez, this fly is loving me. Um, so
hopey that makes sense.
How we doing y'all? How's uh how's this going? Are people enjoying this? Is this
going? Are people enjoying this? Is this
helpful? Um, you guys uh you guys finding some use from this? Let me know.
Um, you know, these streams are, uh, you know, something I'm going to be experimenting with a little more. Uh,
playing around, you know, just just experimenting with new things. I think
for me, um, oftentimes it's from just these, you know, experiments, trying new [ __ ] that you start to realize, oh [ __ ] we actually got something here. You
know, there's something we could lean into a little more. So, um, yeah, streaming is going to be something that I play around with more um, in 2026.
It's something I've just started playing with recently as you probably have seen and it's kind of a it's kind of a vibe, right? Gives you a sense of I think who
right? Gives you a sense of I think who I am versus uh some of the short form more edited videos.
So, what else we got here, y'all?
You know, when I think about, you know, what I'm really looking to do as we kind of lean in now to 2026, right? Oh, just as it starts raining here. Better be careful. One
raining here. Better be careful. One
second here.
Oh boy. Hope that's good.
There we go. Um,
just started a little rain here in Bali.
No big deal. So,
as I Oh, let's see here.
I think we're good.
And so as I then think about you know uh you know what I got to do here in you know 2025 right it's all about
continuing to grow right continuing to lean into um the systems that have made me successful systems like the content GPS which is the infrastructure behind everything I do um and is the most
powerful system I've ever built um it's leaning into people honestly right I Um, you know, I have a lot of independence now as a founder. Control
where I work, when I work, work on whatever I want, with whoever I want.
And it's really all around surrounding myself with the right people, right?
People um that um allow me to remove myself from different aspects of the business so I can focus on my zone of genius, right? The stuff that fires me
genius, right? The stuff that fires me up, that excites me, that I enjoy versus being stuck um in stuff that I shouldn't be doing. And so, um, you know, it's
be doing. And so, um, you know, it's continuing to be able to finish up the book that I'm currently writing. Um,
which I've been really enjoying that process. It's been so much fun,
process. It's been so much fun, honestly. So nice just to chill by this
honestly. So nice just to chill by this pool here. Look at this view.
pool here. Look at this view.
Um, you know, I think you're I've shown it a couple times, but I'll show it here again just to give you a sense, you know, just some nature vibes, you know,
in the pool, the vibe, the spot, relaxing, you know, it's it's good living out here, you know, in
the jungle. Um and so I am just uh you
the jungle. Um and so I am just uh you know wanting to kind of just focus on writing every day, waking up, getting a nice espresso,
writing, reading, uh you know, hiring great people, uh implementing new creative ideas that I think will really transform founders
lives. things like the new agent that we
lives. things like the new agent that we have and making that better and better inside of Founder OS. Hosting an epic retreat this year and the Doommites um and being able to have um a group of
founders out to the Dolommites uh for an epic um hut to hut refugeio hike, hang with me while on an epic 3-day trip through the mountains, hiking, chopping it up. Um it's going to be super
it up. Um it's going to be super exclusive, small group of people, really intimate. Um and yeah, more news on that
intimate. Um and yeah, more news on that soon. So, more news on that soon. Um,
soon. So, more news on that soon. Um,
what else? Uh, you know, this year it's going to be about, you know, really just leaning into building these homes I'm building. So, one in Bali, one in the
building. So, one in Bali, one in the Doommites. Uh, it's going to be about
Doommites. Uh, it's going to be about really just connection, community, continue just to downregulate the nervous system and prioritize rest,
relaxation, tranquility, harmony. um
really kind of dialing in that bar, you know, the bar of just relentless quality that we have and trying to push it. Um you
know, my goal here is to get our content onto Netflix. Um and so um really making
onto Netflix. Um and so um really making sure um that uh yeah, we are pushing the envelope in everything we do. Uh making sure our
shit's inspiring. It gives people a lot
shit's inspiring. It gives people a lot of value. with stuff that they want to
of value. with stuff that they want to share with a hundred friends um and share in their company Slack. Um so
really pushing that needle, right?
Really paying attention to what founders are asking for, what you guys are asking for in the comments. Um and then basically just leaning into um the kind of stuff you guys want. You
guys want stuff on how to be consistent, right? And how to establish your founder
right? And how to establish your founder flow routine every single morning. You
want stuff on how to write, how to build your email list, how to grow your email list, how to grow on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn. You want stuff on the
LinkedIn. You want stuff on the psychology behind building a profitable personal brand. You guys want to know
personal brand. You guys want to know stuff on how to go and set yourself apart uh from people and how to build a business where you can remove this yourself from operations um and have
time just to do the stuff that you love as a founder. um you want to learn how to architect um the right uh systems behind your company so your company's not so founder dependent and you can actually have true freedom and
independence as a founder. And so I'm really excited to kind of lean into um all of that good stuff um and continue to inside of founder us as well um just
have a lot of amazing [ __ ] um that we're giving founders and overd delivering in everything we do.
So we'll take some questions here. Okay.
Uh Hulk's asking, "Bro, how do you build systems to be consistent in work?" Well,
I mean, first off, you just got to be kind of ruthless with yourself um at the end of the day. Um and so you
really got to kind of lean into, you know, why are you even doing what you're doing first off, right? So if
you're really clear on your why, well then any how becomes much easier, right?
So I'm really passionate about waking up every day, inspiring millions of founders, and really leaning into my creative potential. And so it's that why
creative potential. And so it's that why that's so powerful that it doesn't matter if I got to go do some hard thing or I got to fire someone or hire someone or whatever the hell it's easy at the end of the day because my why is so big.
So that's number one. Number two is you got to just go and make a plan, right?
My plan every day is when I wake up, I I wake up slowly. I get a nice celery juice, drink that back, you know, sit outside, get some sunlight in my eyes.
Um, I go for a little walk, get the blood flowing, and then I know I'm going to dip into my founder flow. The sacred
time that I have to work on the stuff that only I can do, right? This is the kind of time that one hour of founder flow is equal to eight hours of shallow work for most people. And I get more
done in probably three, four hours in that point of my day than most people will get done in two months, right?
because I'm dialed in. I know exactly what I need to get done. You know, I've got my, you know, you know, my notebook here of all the
tasks that I want to move. You know,
it's a bit messy, but, you know, I know what I got to do here, you know, and I'm just grooving through my tasks, right, that are all in my notebook. And
it's that time when my, you know, mind is primed, I'm feeling good, I'm fresh, and I'm ready to go that I'm able to get done so much stuff and really just build
um, you know, my dreams. And so, honestly, it's kind of that simple in a way, right? I think that if you are
way, right? I think that if you are clear on your why and you've got those four hours of uninterrupt uninterrupted time first thing in the morning, you're probably in a good spot. Now, where most people screw up is they don't wake up
very early or they're lazy in the morning or they allow themselves to put off and put excuses in. And honestly,
this community here, right, and what we're building, it's not for that kind of person if I'm being real, right? If
you have troubles just being disciplined and getting after the stuff that you really need to do with your life, my channel is probably not for you, right?
Because this is a channel, this is a movement of people that are willing to put in the work, are willing to build the systems, are willing to be consistent with what they say they're going to do, right? because that's
inevitably what it takes, right? And to
be a successful founder to hit, you know, 500k plus per month, get to a million a month, right? It requires a level of basically extreme reliability.
And I'm not talking about reliability with other people. Although, yeah, sure, that's important. I'm talking extreme
that's important. I'm talking extreme reliability with your [ __ ] self, right? If you say you're gonna go and
right? If you say you're gonna go and get some [ __ ] done in the next morning, you do it. If you say you're gonna work out, you know, five days a week, you do it right now. Listen, I'm not saying that every day I get done a 100% of the
stuff I signed up to get done, right?
I'm not Superman here, right? But I am saying, you know, if you went and you wrote down like five things you were going to get done tomorrow morning or today or whatever, that you get down at least two or three of these things and
you put your full effort into these things and you give yourself the time necessary. Now, some of you may say,
necessary. Now, some of you may say, "Ah, Matt, you know, I got I got soccer practice I got to bring my kids to in the morning, or I I got I got a job and a family into this, whatever." Right?
Sure, make those excuses, right? You
know, my dad, you know, I learned a lot from that guy, okay? And one of the things that my dad always did, it didn't matter how busy his job got, you know, he's a dentist. You know, every day he started work at 6:00 a.m., right? and he
woke up for work every day at around 4:00 a.m. to be healthy, to do his
4:00 a.m. to be healthy, to do his thing, to get his meditation out of the way, all that good stuff, right? Because
that's just what's required, right? Life
doesn't care about your feelings. It
doesn't care about, you know, that you're tired or whatever, right? It it
doesn't care at all, right? All you got to do is just do whatever you got to do to make [ __ ] happen. And if that means waking up a little earlier, moving things around, well, then that's what
you need to do. And so, you know, I think it's just cultivating this sense of extreme reliability in the depths of your [ __ ] soul in your loins, right?
Because sure as hell you're not going to be looking back on December 31st, 2026, right? And proud of being lazy, proud
right? And proud of being lazy, proud of, you know, being halfass. No one
looked back on December 31st, 2026 and was like, "Damn, I'm so glad I slept in till 11:00 a.m. every day and p, you know, put off my dreams, you I'm so glad um I had all those goals I was going to
do that year and then didn't do any of them. You know, I'm so proud of that. Um
them. You know, I'm so proud of that. Um
you know, no one's thinking that. And so
um probably do the opposite um of that, right? Uh you know, really go for it,
right? Uh you know, really go for it, right? What would it look like, you
right? What would it look like, you know, if you were given a blank slate in life, right? You were allowed just to
life, right? You were allowed just to start over, right? Don't worry about the old habits you have. Don't worry about the old limiting beliefs you have, the procrastination, the sense that you're
not worthy, the worrying about what other people think. Erase that from your [ __ ] mind.
Now, what does it look like to be that version of yourself, a new version of yourself, right? Who has an insane
yourself, right? Who has an insane amount of energy, who doesn't give a [ __ ] what other people think, and that the only truth is your truth. The truth
that you're going to do what it takes to get after what you got to do this year.
The truth that you're going to go and be the ultimate creative version of yourself, right? The truth that you know
yourself, right? The truth that you know you've got what it takes. You are
enough. You don't need anything more.
You've got it, right? You are capable.
And now just go and do it. Just [ __ ] do it. Right? Go do that thing that you
do it. Right? Go do that thing that you know you've been putting off, right?
Whether that's creating consistent content, growing that brand, building that audience, starting on YouTube, whatever the hell it is, right? Um,
yeah, some people are asking what this stream is about. I think this stream is really just maybe a stream of consciousness. Um, so if you're down
consciousness. Um, so if you're down with that and you're looking for that, stick around. And if that's not
stick around. And if that's not interesting, well, I'm sorry. Um,
some of you guys are asking, you know, what time is it where I'm at? Well, it's
3:20 in the afternoon right now. Uh I'm
in Ubud, Bali in an undisclosed location in the jungle. Uh we're kicking it here.
Looks like we may get some rain here in a minute, but so far, you know, we're doing okay. We're doing okay. It's been
doing okay. We're doing okay. It's been
a sunny day. Life's good and uh you know, honestly, just kind of kind of living. Um yeah, so Bali is looking
living. Um yeah, so Bali is looking good. You know, just getting the yoga
good. You know, just getting the yoga on. Uh I've been enjoying life, living,
on. Uh I've been enjoying life, living, just really taking time for health and time for yoga and time for meditation and yoga nidra and yin yoga and all
these random other things I can't pronounce. But um just really trying to
pronounce. But um just really trying to just rest the soul, you know, um just downregulate all of it. Um and uh get to a point of just nice equilibrium. So,
I'm going into the new year feeling good, feeling inspired, letting new ideas percolate. Um, and seeing uh what
ideas percolate. Um, and seeing uh what stuff uh yeah, what stuff kind of, you know, is exciting me. Um, I think
right these days, uh, I'm really excited just to get better at writing, getting better at the craft of creating great videos. Um really really I think the
videos. Um really really I think the number one skill I need to cultivate the bea the most um is the ability of spotting talent right because um at the stage that I'm at right now across my
businesses um it's really about um finding the best of the best people and then getting them to join uh this amazing journey that we're on here at
Founder OS. You know people that um are
Founder OS. You know people that um are really obsessed, right? People that are talented as [ __ ] right? and inspiring
those folks to join the amazing mission that we have here at Founder West to create the greatest founder community and education experience of the 21st century, right? Unparalleled systems,
century, right? Unparalleled systems, insane levels of support um and most importantly just an amazing community based on connection, on belonging, on making founders feel um that we're their
best friend, right? Because we genuinely have their back. We'll go the extra mile for them. And in every single thing we
for them. And in every single thing we do, whether it's an email, a piece of content we put out, um, or a new system we create for founders, um, that we're putting the love, the care, um, that
genuine giving a [ __ ] um, that every founder really should be looking for.
So, yeah, it's a lot about talent. You
know, I feel like I'm like a sports team owner here. um trying to get the right
owner here. um trying to get the right uh you know NFL team assembled um so that we can go and really accomplish some next level [ __ ] and build like a this a dynasty here. You know, we're
trying to build New England Patriots vibes. Tom Brady, Bill Bich, the boys uh
vibes. Tom Brady, Bill Bich, the boys uh trying to make that happen here. Um and
what we're doing and so um that's what it's all about. Assembling a team of absolute weapons. Um all right, y'all.
absolute weapons. Um all right, y'all.
Hope this has been helpful. Hope this
has been useful. The rain is looking like it's about to kick in. Um, so I may just wrap things here. Um, I appreciate all of you guys for being a part of the
founder freedom movement here. Thanks
