there.

Wow. Hi. Oh my goodness.

We are in Nashville for a few days for the podcast with Jefferson Fischer. He's

a trial attorney with millions of followers who teaches people how to communicate more [music] effectively. I

can't wait for my conversation with him tomorrow. But first, dinner. We've

tomorrow. But first, dinner. We've

landed in Nashville. We've settled in and now we're out for dinner. The place

is completely full. We said we'll just sit outside. And now we're the only ones

sit outside. And now we're the only ones outside. It's like we got the whole

outside. It's like we got the whole place to ourselves. And then what happened tonight while we're ordering food is Andy got all excited cuz there was so many vegetarian options and he wanted to order everything. So tonight's

his birthday. Even though it's in May, we're going to celebrate his birthday tonight. We're going to sing to him

tonight. We're going to sing to him later. He's going to send it to his

later. He's going to send it to his family and they're going to think, gosh, what a what a great group of colleagues.

What a great group of colleagues. You

know, you know what the lesson here is?

You know how people can make mountains out of mole hills and that's a negative thing. Here you can take a nothing

thing. Here you can take a nothing situation and turn it into something special.

So, this is a cheers to our respective partners for allowing us to be here and do this cool adventure. This has been really, really, really fun. Cheers to

Chantel, to F, Seline, Nat, Pwin.

Oh, we remembered the names.

Of course I did.

He seemed worried.

I was 1% worried. I was like, "Oh, no."

[laughter] And obviously Jess. So, thank you all.

Cheers to all of you guys cuz we've done a lot of cool, fun, memorable things.

I'm not someone who enjoys flying, but I think I enjoy traveling.

That's cool.

Cheers to Andy. Getting over travel scaredness.

I think this one is a cheers to the laughs. I think if you could travel

laughs. I think if you could travel around, laugh, do cool. Like, what more can you ask for?

Cheers.

Cheers.

Uh, not starting with an [laughter] This is a cheers for us being high performers where we can have fun, but we can also get done when we need to.

I think I'd love to do a big cheers to Vin calling out again the generosity. It

It really [music] goes beyond what anyone would expect. And I think understandably, you do it for us, you do it for the team, you do it for the culture, you do it because that's part of your value system. We are very deeply

appreciative of that. We are very grateful for that as well and just thank you for always being such a beautiful human. These are opportunities that

human. These are opportunities that wouldn't otherwise be possible. Most

people think about themselves first and foremost. You think [music] about the

foremost. You think [music] about the team and everyone around you. It's a

beautiful thing to observe. It's another

thing to be part of it as well. So big

cheers to to the big guy VG. Thank you

so much.

Cheers. Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you.

My cheers is to keep dreaming. You know, the fact that

keep dreaming. You know, the fact that we're doing this is crazy. The fact that we're getting to meet all these incredible people is just it's just wild. Keep dreaming. Don't be afraid to

wild. Keep dreaming. Don't be afraid to dream. Give it all a chance. Give it all

dream. Give it all a chance. Give it all a crack. And find people you enjoy doing

a crack. And find people you enjoy doing it with and then do it with them.

Dreams. Cheers.

Jefferson, how are you, man?

Welcome, guys.

What do you What do you call yourself?

You have like a teasing [laughter] boy. He called us naughty boy. So that

boy. He called us naughty boy. So that

was the first time. [laughter]

What I really love about Jefferson is his calm demeanor. And it reminds me once again that when it comes to your instrument, there are so many different ways you can play it. And there's beauty

within the calm, controlled nature [music] in which Jefferson communicates.

And then there's also the unpredictable, ridiculous, and sometimes a little bit over the top. and how I play my instrument. So, my message is pretty

instrument. So, my message is pretty simple. Go explore your voice. You have

simple. Go explore your voice. You have

genres that you've never played before.

There are ways that you can use your voice that you've never tried exploring.

So, go explore it.

We are heading into downtown Nashville on the main Broadway strip to get some dinner.

Raisin canes. Let's go.

That was C tier. Not as good as I remembered. We spent the rest of the

remembered. We spent the rest of the night at Dave Chappelle's Carmageddon comedy special, and I've never seen a stadium packed out like this before. It

was wild.

I can't wait to see.

We're on the way to Boston for the Mel Robbins podcast.

I can't wait to see Mel again because Mel, with or without her knowing, she's played such a vital role in my career.

From the very start of my career, even as a speaker, I remember speaking at an event called Project Management Institute, and Mel saw me speak, then I saw her speak, and then she came up to me in the green room and said, "Hey, let's go grab some food together." And I

still remember us grabbing Mexican food right afterwards, and she shared with me tips on how to be better on stage.

Again, Mel has been one of the most generous humans I've ever met. And I think that's one of the reasons why one of my biggest values is generosity. Is because you

become the people you surround yourself with. My family are very generous. I I'm

with. My family are very generous. I I'm

I'm around very generous humans. So,

Mel, thank you for everything you've done for me. Even before I'm going on your podcast this morning, you've changed my life. So, Mel, I love you and I want to SAY THANK YOU,

MEL. OH MY GOD, IT'S BEEN TOO LONG.

MEL. OH MY GOD, IT'S BEEN TOO LONG.

I I remember you there at the beginning of my career.

Yeah. Yeah. All right, we'll do an elevator selfie.

Elevator selfie over here, Mel. Up

there.

Wow. [cheering]

Hi. Oh my goodness. I haven't done anything yet. Wow. This is amazing. Hi.

anything yet. Wow. This is amazing. Hi.

Hi, everybody. [applause]

Gosh. Thank you. Thank you so much.

[applause] Wow. Wow.

Wow. Wow.

I am so thrilled that you're here. I'm

so proud of you.

Thank you, Mel. I don't think any of this would have happened without you.

You shared with me how to grow my career here in the US.

Oh, yeah.

Wow. Well, you know what? I didn't have a podcast. I didn't have a lot to give,

a podcast. I didn't have a lot to give, but I gave you what I had. you did,

which is the lessons that I had learned having built a speaking career here in the US. When you find the back door

the US. When you find the back door [clears throat] in, you hold it open for everybody else.

Yeah. That was what was so cool about you because I still remember too that when you were so busy, you couldn't do the gigs. You gave them to me. Well,

the gigs. You gave them to me. Well,

of course.

So, I was the cheap Mel Robbins.

[laughter] I was I was Yeah. Yeah. And I had I had blonde hair back then. So, they

So, they're like, "Oh, I guess so.

They're kind of the same."

Oh my god. But you know the one thing that they taught me is that it's the thing you do off stage that makes you exceptional.

Yeah.

And so you have to be good on stage or you have no business being on stage.

That's just the price of entry. But it's

all the little things that you do offstage. How you take care of the event

offstage. How you take care of the event planners, how you take care of the production team. Not being a drama

production team. Not being a drama queen. Understanding that it's not about

queen. Understanding that it's not about your speech. It's about the event and

your speech. It's about the event and the role that you're playing. [music]

And when you make people feel seen, when you leave people in a better place, when you do your job and you not only do it exceptionally well, you're also a joy to

work with. That is something I've always

work with. That is something I've always carried forward is opening the door, sharing. You know, when you learn, you

sharing. You know, when you learn, you teach. Yeah.

teach. Yeah.

When you get, you give. And you do the same thing.

I was one of the students that you taught.

A.

So, thank you.

Thank you, M.

Oh, you're the best. You're the best.

Congratulations on the new book.

Thank you. Oh my goodness. You tagged it up like crazy.

When you buy this book, which you need to buy this book because he can teach you how to communicate with confidence, but you'll pick up this book and within four pages you need Kleenex.

A because your story and the story about your parents and the story about learning English, like there's so much in here with so much heart and this is

not only helpful to people, [music] but it's beautifully written.

Thank you.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

All right, let's do a podcast.

All right. Thank you so much.

All right. Well done, man. That was

awesome.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

[music] [cheering] [applause] If there's anything you want to say to the team that is going to put hundreds and hundreds of hours into this.

Yes. My dad at home has this beautiful picture of seven horses pulling a carriage. And dad always said to me,

carriage. And dad always said to me, "Son, the seven horses are the members of the family and the carriage is the entire family." And son, what happens if

entire family." And son, what happens if the horses run in all different directions? The family gets pulled

directions? The family gets pulled apart. He was teaching me a lesson on

apart. He was teaching me a lesson on alignment. Dad then said, "Son, if the

alignment. Dad then said, "Son, if the horses all run in the same direction, there's no dream we cannot achieve.

There's no ocean we cannot cross.

There's no impact we cannot have." So, I want you to imagine this that you have so many horses on this team and my experience here is you are all so aligned. You're the power behind the

aligned. You're the power behind the power and without you, we can't do it.

So, thank you. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your energy and thank you for your alignment. [applause]

We just finished the podcast with Mel Robbins. I felt like I was able to shine

Robbins. I felt like I was able to shine my light really beautifully today and Mel, so did you. And I think when both of our light combined, we're going to be able to create really beautiful impact.

So, I can't wait for you, the listener, to [music] check out the Mel Robbins podcast when it comes out. We were

lining up to check in our baggage and there was this beautiful moment that happened with the Delta team members. We

started talking and the moment we started talking and the moment we started connecting, I shared with her that I wrote a book. And the moment I shared that I wrote a book, she lit up.

She was like, "Wa, is this your first book?" And then I signed her a copy. I

book?" And then I signed her a copy. I

gave it to her and she said she she shared some beautiful words with me telling me it was going to be a number one bestseller.

It just reminds me that so much of the things we want more of in life, you want good vibes, you want more positivity, you want more laughter.

The things that you want more of, sometimes you just have to be the first to give it.

And you'll be shocked how much you'll get in return. Ride.
