Summary
## Key takeaways - **Inverted Product Thinking**: Instead of coming up with a product or service and then figuring out how to sell it, invert that and say what is a way that works every time to sell something and then create a product using that thing to sell it because then you can't fail. [03:27], [03:49] - **Three Millionaire Phases**: Fill the room with the right people, say the right thing, and make the right offer, and it's pretty hard to not become a millionaire; I've never seen someone do all three and not make millions. [04:19], [04:53] - **Offer Types: For/With/Easier/Faster**: Show someone a path to success and offer to do it for them like done-for-you services, with them like coaching, or easier or faster like courses or software. [06:10], [07:05] - **EPIC Pitch Framework**: Make your pitch Entertaining to keep attention, Personalized to sound made for them, Irrefutable by aligning with what they already believe, and Clear using simple words. [08:54], [15:45] - **Workshops Crush Sales Cycles**: Workshops are multi-day events that condense a six-month sales cycle into a few days, allowing you to sell $20k-$50k offers without a sales team; Dan sold $1M in one day during COVID. [23:55], [25:32] - **No Product? Run Workshop**: Host a workshop, show the path to success, then offer calls to discuss help; patterns from calls reveal the offer to develop based on what people want. [26:14], [27:28]

all right I'm going to show you the sales presentation framework and pattern that made me $32 million in sales and how to create a single sales presentation that brings you clients for
life and the good news is you only need to accomplish four very basic things in your pitch to make it work so here's what I'm going to cover I've analyzed thousands of sales presentations and I
found the distinct patterns so I'm going to share those with you I'll show you the Epic pitch framework which is a like a model that I use for every single Pres presentation and I've built multiple
multi-million dollar presentations as well as two presentations that have done over eight figures over 10 million each I'll share with you the four types of pitches that you can use to grow your
business and how to choose which one based on what you sell and how much it costs and as a little bonus I'll show you how to start a sales presentation business so that you can make money with
sales presentations even if you don't actually have a product or service to offer and if you don't want one now this will work for you if you sell any of the following or are thinking of selling any
of the following things agency Services Professional Services consulting or coaching online courses or software dude did my son take my pen again buddy did
you take my pen give me that go go go daddy's recording YouTube video kids um so full transparency I don't normally pitch
stuff on my YouTube videos but I am doing a 3-day event called The Epic pitch challenge where I go into extrem extreme detail on this stuff so this is going to be like a condensed version of
it and obviously it's free uh but if you are interested in getting deeper into this I'll leave a link in the description okay here's something you may not realize some of the most successful businesses in the world
really successful businesses built their businesses with sales presentations think about the most successful computer company of all time Apple who built
Apple who made it popular Who Sold Apple to the world it was Steve Jobs and what did he do every single year he did a presentation and it was the same
presentation every single year what kind of Coach comes to mind when you think of the brokest coach life coaches they're all broke but there's one life coach
that is a billionaire do you know who it is of course it's Tony Robbins how did Tony Robbins become the only billionaire life coach presentations 30 or 40 years
ago he came up with a presentation that sold people into his $5,000 day with Destiny or Unleash the Power whatever
and it worked and he was smart enough to never change it his mentor Jim Ron said if you have something good to say say it often and you'll be successful and so
what Tony did was he built a sales presentation that would sell people into one event and then that event was another sales presentation that would sell them into another event and then
that event was basically a sales presentation that would sell people into this event and each event costs more his business Mastery is like 10 grand and then he went out and he taught that
presentation to a bunch of people they went out to car dealerships and to uh Financial offices and they did a free presentation selling them into that first presentation and he built a
billion- dollar company from that so you might think is Tony Robbins a life coach is he a motivational Guru no he has a sales presentation business and so this is what I call inverted thinking instead
of saying hey let me come up with a product to sell a product or service and then let me figure out how to sell it what I like to do is invert
that and say what is a way that works every time to sell something and then create a product using that
thing to sell it because then you can't fail because this always works you don't know if this will work because you're like well here's my product how do I
sell instead use a proven format to sell and then sell something with it okay so here's the model now if you can do these
three things it's pretty hard to not become a millionaire so imagine it as three phases or three things whatever
you want to do right okay now if you can fill the room with the right people you it doesn't have to be a physical room it could be a a room on Zoom virtual right
if you fill the room with the right people and you say the right thing and then you make the right offer you're a
millionaire I have never seen someone get a bunch of the right type of people in a room or on a presentation say exactly the right thing they need to say
make exactly the right offer and not make millions of dollars I've never seen it happen so what I'm about to cover right now is what's the right offer then I'll talk about the Epic pitch framework which is
saying the right thing I'm not going to cover how to fill the room is that's a much deeper conversation and I'll leave that for my three-day event I don't want this video to be six hours long so let's
talk about the offer now I saw this interview once where it was like the the Chief Operating Officer of a very popular webinar platform and he was
doing an interview and they asked him they said well look you've seen thousands of sales presentations you've seen thousands of webinars what is the one commonality between the ones that
succeed the most and he goes oh well that's an easy that's easy that's easy to answer it's a presentation that shows
someone a path to success so start end right end being success start being where they are now and then they make an
offer to help them do it for them with them make it easier or faster for them with
them easier faster okay so the presentation itself
shows the viewer or the attendee audience a path to success and then the offer is to help them take that path for them with them easier or faster now for
them this could be something like done for you services this could be anything from bookkeeping to being their lawyer a Facebook Ad Agency a graphic design agency a marketing agency whatever any
type of service a a video editing agency you're a web designer it doesn't freaking matter I don't mean to say this rudely but it's truly irrelevant what you sell as long as you can show someone
a path to success and then you can offer to do it for them you have a business now you can also offer to do it with them this would be like coaching and Consulting you can offer to do it uh easier or faster this is going to be
things like online courses or software so just to give you an example if I do a sales presentation and I want to show you how to lose weight and I convince you the easiest way to lose weight the
best way to lose weight is intermittent fasting by the end of that presentation you truly believe that intermittent fasting is the way to go I can sell you a software that helps you track your
fasts I can sell you accountability cach in where you get on a call every day for 5 minutes and you check in with your coach I can sell you a retreat where you
come out for a week and you fast for like 15 hours and you have support and it's like this big hippie Fest whatever I can sell you a course on intermittent fasting that's the thing you're in the sales presentation business you're not
in the business of using sales presentation once you know how to do this you can sell anything so if you're a coach and you want to now add a software where you just do the same
process different offer the offer really doesn't matter as long as it does it for them with them easier or faster if it does all of it well that that's great too so the mistakes you can make here is
picking the wrong path meaning you have to show them the road that they need to take the best route to where they want to go and then you sell them the car that takes them on the route the car is
the offer and the road is the path if you choose the wrong path the whole presentation falls apart okay
now what is the Epic pitch framework for presentations so that when you show someone a path to success they are convinced they are like
yeah this is it this is this is what I want to do it fasting is the way this is the way that's the way I want to give you money all right so the first thing is this isn't just a fancy name epic
pitch by the way that's my term so when you use the term epic pitch please keep my name in your mouth because I came up
with this so e entertaining it has to be entertaining it can't be boring because if it's boring people won't watch it so the rest of this framework won't matter
notice how I just did something a little bit entertaining there why so as to keep your attention to entertain you people really don't want to be taught anything they want to be entertained who are the
best teachers in school they're the ones that can entertain the kids and get them in involved in the classwork the best commercials are the most entertaining like the the Doritos commercial or the
dasaki commercial I don't always drink beer but when I do I drink thakis it's entertaining cuz when you can entertain someone they remember it if you don't entertain them they forget it and if
they forget it well then they forget to buy now believe it or not anything can be entertaining you may think well my business is boring okay well let me ask you this applying for government GR
grants how exciting is that literally how to fill out an application for a government grant super boring however there was a guy in the 90s and 2000s who
made buttloads of money selling a book and course on how to get government grants and fill out the application properly and he did these commercials
that were incredibly entertaining where he would wear this suit with question marks and he had purple hair and he would just do all this wild and crazy stuff his name was Matthew lasow I think
he still does it and makes it killing why because he took something that every other company could not figure out how to make entertaining and he made it entertaining Apple when they came out
remember the first Apple commercial it was like this like post-apocalyptic world and it was it was entertaining okay entertaining so the
next thing after entertaining is personalized it has to
be personalized now what do I mean by that it has to sound like it was made exactly for them it has to sound like whatever that presentation was whatever
that concept that idea was crafted specifically for them even Apple when they first started they were a computer company for creatives like video editors
graphic designers Etc think different like their whole brand revolved around a new type of computer for creatives now everybody has Apple or as I like to say
uh Max are for pros and PCs are for Schmo see again little little little entertaining there just just a little bit just a little all right so the third
one and this is the hardest one but it's the most effective it's irrefutable now what does that mean irrefutable it means that the best pi
itches the best presentations the best salespeople they do not try to persuade or convince they try to align because when you try to
persuade or convince someone of something it's very it's a very abrasive way to communicate because you're like hey you believe what I believe and people naturally resist that and so a
better way to do this is to align what you want them to see with what they already believe you have an idea you have a concept you have a message you want other people to see what you see
and in order to do that you have to show them that they already agree with you before you even say it so for instance I didn't say Apple's the greatest company
ever and Steve Jobs is super smart and he used sales presentations I said what is the most valuable computer company you in your mind probably thought
instantly Apple then I said and who built Apple up and sold Apple to the world you in your mind said Steve Jobs then I said what did Steve Jobs do every
single year to sell Apple and you in your mind probably thought back went oh yeah he did those events where he would like present the new Apple products
presentation by the time I got there I made my point that the best companies use presentations to grow so irrefutably
that it's hard for you to disagree with me because I actually didn't persuade you convince you or tell you you you told yourself it's just a much more effective way to communicate a few more
examples are how do time share companies sell time share they do a presentation now see when I made that pause in your head you filled in the blank you said in
your mind presentation how do investment funds get investors to put money in a pot to then go build buildings and make money with developments and real estate they use sales presentations how to
advertising agencies sell their ideas to big companies to get big contracts they do sales presentations and look you can look this up but the most successful companies use one sales presentation and
they've used it for a long time because it works one good sales presentation can erase all the horrible financial decisions you've ever made in your entire life and I know that to be true
because it happened to me all right and the final one is clear clear it has to be stupid simple what
you say most people over complicate what they say if you look back at all of the presidential elections and who won and
who lost almost 95% of the time you will find and you can go do the research the person that won had the simplest message the person that lost had a complex
message how do you think Trump won two terms his messages are incredibly simple immigration build the wall one very
specific example is when someone asked Camala Harris in an interview what she would say to Iran to prevent a war and she goes
don't just don't they ask Trump and Trump said I'll bomb the [ __ ] out of them one's clear one's vague agree disagree that doesn't matter that's why he won he was
clear and if you go back to the one where he faced Hillary her speeches and you can look this up they read at a 12th grade reading level do you know what
reading level Trump's speech is read at a second or third grade the most influential people in the world use small words to share Big Ideas and so
your presentation must be clear it cannot be confusing if your pitch is entertaining personalized irrefutable
and clear it is an epic pitch and regardless of the format it has a very very very high chance of bringing you clients for the rest of your life now of
course I can break this down much much more much more detailed and really teach you how to do this and that's why I have an event where I explain this over 3 days but this is just a very very quick
overview of the four things you need to accomplish in a pitch in a sales presentation to make it effective all right now what are the four types of pitches that you can do and which one
should you use based on what you sell and how much it costs I'm going to list these in terms of their length because that's really what actually makes these things work is their their length let's
start with a micro pitch right I'll just put the word micro to make it easy to understand see clear this is what you
could consider like an elevator pitch it's like a sentence it's micro is hey I do this I help so and so um accomplish
thing I help people in client-based businesses create winning sales presentation for our software I help marketers create copy the con s in
seconds without writing a word themselves so a quick framework for this is I help
blank get blank without blank I help the person the audience the Avatar whatever you want to
call it get the goal that they want without the thing that they don't want so for instance I have made a lot of money with sales calls and sales teams I used to own a sales team management
company and I hated it I hate sales calls I hate managing sales reps I hate babysitting them when one week they do great and then the next week they have a fight with their fraking girlfriend and all of a sudden their closeth rate Cuts
in half and blah blah blah blah blah I hate it it sucks I'm just going to be honest with you I hate it and I don't want to be on the phone all day that's why I like sales presentations because I know if I make say
$22,000 per attendee that attends a sales presentation or I convert say 10% of the room when I do a presentation if I do that same presentation the next
time or if it's a recorded presentation what I find is the numbers pretty much stay the same so if I convert at 10% and I bring a 100 people to a sales presentation I know that I'm going to
get 10 clients every time as long as I say the same thing I said last time if it's a recorded presentation and it converts at say 5% I know that I'm going to make x amount of dollars every time I
send this many people through it it's predictable it's repeatable it's consistent sales calls and sales teams are variable they depend on all these conditions a sales presentation relies
on much fewer conditions pretty much just the traffic Source they rely primarily on how many people you can get in the room and are they the right people everything else pretty much stays
the same so I might say I help online entrepreneurs create sales presentations that get them clients for life without sales calls or a sales team now to be
clear you can use a sales team or sales calls in conjunction with the presentation I just don't like it and I know a lot of people that don't like it so I like to put that without in it's powerful okay so next is going to be
what I call short pitches now for you nerdy internet marketers out there you might know these as vsls or five minute webinars or something like that these
are short 5 to 10 minute videos that sell whatever you're selling now when would you use these you would use these when you're selling something cheap that can be explained in five minutes and
then go right to an order page or you would sell them on something expensive but you would need a sales call for this a it's very difficult to sell a$ 10,000
$20,000 offer or uh even bookkeeping or lawyer services without a sales call I mean you have to get on the phone with them and figure out what they need yada
y y and so these normally go to something cheap that they can buy immediately or something expensive that goes to a call look I've
I've made a lot of money with short pitches I had a five minute uh pitch or vssl that went to a sales call and it made us millions of dollars but I don't
like sales teams and sales reps so the fourth thing I'll show you actually replace the need entirely for the sales team but I'll get to that in a second let's talk about the third one which is
long pitches these again for you internet marketing nerds are called webinars now a webinar would be like a one to two hour presentation that you
would do on Zoom recorded as I mentioned earlier or it could be a talk a TED talk right because even when you do a TED Talk even if you're not selling something you're still selling something
you're selling the world on your ideas or maybe you're speaking at someone else's event and you're doing like a 30 or 45 minute speech and you're pitching
something or you are on a podcast for for 45 minutes you can still kind of do this on a podcast and bring people into your business and so that is what I would consider a long form is one to two
hours now you can sell something more effectively cheap or a bit more expensive like1 to $2,000 we right now have a presentation that runs
on auto it's a training you can go watch it's a webinar and it sells our AI copyrighting software that I developed and it converts great it does six
figures a month with no sales team I people just go and watch the presentation and they buy the software but this only works for like A1 or $2,000 product or even less if you want
to sell something more expensive without constantly being on the phone you got to go to the fourth thing and this is what I would call workshops now Workshops can
be Al there's a lot of terms you can use for these right you can call them events you can call them seminars you can call them challenges I'm just writing
workshops here on the board now these are going to be multi-day they are multi-day events now with these you can
sell something very expensive without a sales team don't get me wrong you can you can do sales calls with these as well but they they kind of
become more of like order taking calls or just more logistical where you're just getting maybe you get somebody to pay in full rather than a pay plan or something like that but in terms of them
being sold on what you do that's done now I not only believe but I know that these are the most effective way to sell and here's why I had a friend that got
married to his wife two weeks after he met her and they have a very very good marriage I remember when he told me about it he he had gotten married before we became friends at first I was a bit
shocked I was like why would you get married after knowing somebody for for two weeks why wouldn't you him for at least 6 months and he's like well I kind of did I'm like what what are you
talking about and he says to me he says well what happened was I started seeing someone and I was supposed to go on a cruise with my friend but my friend got sick and couldn't go so I invited my
brand new girlfriend to go on this cruise and when we she went on the cruise we spent every waking moment together morning until evening we literally got 6 months of dating
squeezed into two weeks and I realized she was for me and we got married and funny because I then heard Alex harosi talk about something similar about how he married his wife very quickly as well
because they spent every waking moment together and most couples when they date it's like one or two dates a week if that for six months that's why it takes so long and so that's kind of how I
think about workshops is when you can get someone to come to a virtual or live event and you're able to speak to them for multiple hours over multiple days
you're basically taking a six-month sales cycle and you're condensing it into 6 days so in my experience in over $32 million in sales I will tell you that I very rarely make any money with a
micro pitch you don't make money with this this is just telling someone what you do I've made a lot of money with short pitches but I have had to do substantial work with sales calls
managing sales teams Etc I've made a lot of money with long form pitches but again I've had to either sell something
cheap one or 2,000 or I've had to again sales calls sales teams however with workshops I've been able to sell things
that were $20,000 $50,000 $10,000 easily with or without a sales team because this will bring people that will buy immediately but then you'll have a
six-month sale cycle for everybody else this will bring people that will buy immediately but then you'll have a six month Sal cycle for everybody else this will take that six-month Sal cycle
and squeeze it into just a few days so you make more money faster and the first time I realized this was when I did an event during covid and I was going to do
a live event but I ended up not doing it because covid right you couldn't couldn't go anywhere so I ended up doing it virtually like this with a whiteboard though my whiteboard was a lot cheaper
back then and I sold 34 people into a $30,000 Consulting package and I made over a million in a single day during covid at the very beginning when everybody was freaked out and scared out
of their minds and not spending money that's how effective it was it would normally take me six months to get those same clients on calls and this and that and get them to buy that I did it in
just one day well it was a two-day event so call it two days but the sales happened in one day whatever it was a million bucks okay so now comes the question Great Dan this is amazing but
what if I haven't got my offer figured out yet or what if I have no product I have no service so let me cover that now if you have an idea what you want to sell but you're not really sure you
haven't really packaged your offer yet what's really cool about workshops is that if you fill the room with the right
people and then you conduct the workshop and you say the right thing now what you can do is instead of selling a service
or product or whatever an offer you can say okay guys I've shown you the path to
success my offer is to hop on a call and talk to me about how I can help you do this easier or faster you don't tell them what you sell you just say like
work with me to help you now once they get on this call right you start just having a conversation with each client
and you find out what they need and maybe they need help where you go oh I should have a Consulting offer for this or maybe they're all like I just want you to do it for me and you're like oh I
need to do a done for you service and you start thinking right and you'll see that if you get on 10 calls with people that got in the room heard you talk and then they're like I need help with blank
you'll start to see a pattern in the blank and from there you can develop an offer based on what people actually want after hearing you explain the path to
success so you're basically figuring out how to sell people by selling them and then you just replace the call with the offer that you've developed after hearing so many people say the same thing and ask for the same thing boom
there's your offer done now again I I can expand on this greatly but I'm trying to keep this video somewhat short I know it's already getting very long I will end with telling you a quick story
about how I made $3500 in a day using a workshop using a pitch with no product no service back in my uh early 20s and I didn't even really know what I
was doing then I just knew that sales presentations would make money and the reason I knew this was because I got a sales job where I worked for a company
selling these pots and pants and they taught me this presentation it was about a 15minute sales pitch and I get up on stage which stage was just a little booth in Sam's Club and I was very
nervous I you know I looked young I I didn't speak very well I used to have a stutter I I I I I I I talked like like this a lot I still you you'll notice in my videos I still kind of do it very
self-conscious about it I I generally will edit it out but back then it was really bad and so I had very low self-confidence I said to my manager I said dude I can't do this like I can't I
like nobody's gonna buy from me and my manager who actually funny enough he was the same guy that trained Billy Mays the oxyclean guy the famous pitchman who
trained him on how to pitch he gets angry with me and he says dan and he holds up a sheet of paper I'm going to hold up I'm going to hold up this mouse pad instead Pretend This is paper and he
says you see the words on this page I said yeah and he says we spent years and millions of dollars figuring out these exact words so that when one of our reps says them every single time somebody
buys this cookware now do you think you are that freaking special that if you say these words magically they're not going to work for you and I was like uh I I guess not and he's like shut up get
your little ass up there and say the words so I get up there I say the exact script I was taught the exact presentation I was taught and like five people grabbed a set of cookware now prior to that I delivered pizza for
seven years most I ever made was five or six or five or six hundred bucks in in a week I made $1,500 in sales commissions that day and I learned that you will never be broke if you know what to say
if you have a good sales presentation you can change your life and so years later I needed some money so here's what I did I was living in Spring Hill Florida at the time very small town and
so I went on Craigslist and Facebook and I made a post I said hey guys I'm holding a blogging seminar totally free come to this seminar it's a few hours and in those few hours I will teach you
how to start a blog so then I went to the micro Budget Hotel the cheapest place I could find it was like 150 or 200 bucks to rent a room that would hold
30 people I rented the room and I had about 30 people come to this event and during this event I showed them how to start a blog now keep in mind I wasn't
good I had a Blog but I wasn't like a millionaire blogger I wasn't a famous blogger I just knew how to install WordPress and start a blog that was it at the time there was a company called
HostGator and if you referred someone to them for website hosting which you need website hosting and a domain to have a Blog they would give you $150 commission
but the actual hosting was only like 10 bucks a month they knew how valuable their customers were and how much they would spend over a long period of time so they gave you a big commission to get people in the door so I took my
affiliate link my referral link and when it came to that part of the workshop I said hey here's the part where you get your domain and you sign up for web hosting go to this link and sign up and
then we'll install WordPress almost the entire room signed up and I made $3,500 in affiliate Commissions in that day and I left that micro budget hotel with no
product to to fulfill on no service that I had to do all I had was $3,500 in commissions and a fantastic week I showed someone a path to success and I
made an offer to help them take that path so the point I'm trying to make here is there are so many ways to make money I just happen to believe that you should always do it with the sales presentation you sell your own offer you
you're an affiliate marketer you're a freaking Doctor you're a chiropractor you know how Chiropractic companies grow they do these seminars where they come in and they teach you stuff and then if
it's a good seminar a bunch of people sign up for Chiropractic uh plans all at once all right so this video is getting super long so here's what I'll tell you if you want to learn more about this if
you want to learn more about the four types of pitches and the Epic pitch framework and how to get people to buy and how to create offers that work with
sales Pres presentations and just how to create a million-dollar business with a sales presentation and keep your life chill and low-key and stressfree then
check the link in the description grab a ticket to my epic pitch Challenge 3 days I'll go way deeper into this than I did in this video and I'll show you way more
stuff that'll help you be successful with this and by the end of that 3 days you'll have everything you need to walk away with a winning sales presentation if not that's cool just watch this video
a bunch of times cuz hey it's free but at least smash the Subscribe button and I'll see you in the next one
