UNLOCK THE STRANGER THE LAZY WAY - STAY OUT OF PROVING GROUNDS || CONQUEST 21 GUIDE

By Xaereth Prevails

Summary

## Key takeaways - **Unlock Stranger with Crate 5, Not Crate 7**: You only need to achieve Crate 5 to unlock the Stranger character, which is significantly easier than aiming for Crate 7. This approach requires 450 key cards, compared to the 630 needed for Crate 7, making the process more accessible. [01:29], [03:45] - **Lazy Unlocking: Focus on Conquest Currency**: To unlock characters the 'lazy way' without new teams or Galactic Legends, prioritize spending your Conquest currency on character shards. This strategy avoids the need for expensive or complex team compositions. [00:48], [03:20] - **Skip Hassle Sectors for Easier Feats**: Sectors 1 and 2 can be particularly difficult. If you're struggling, consider skipping feats in these sectors if you can obtain enough key cards from easier feats in later sectors. For instance, the 'Stagger' feat is only worth 5 key cards and can be skipped if it's too troublesome. [06:31], [06:44] - **B2 Droid for Buff Immunity**: The B2 Battle Droid is highly effective for spamming buff immunity. Each of its AoE attacks provides five attempts at applying this debuff, making it a valuable asset for certain challenges. [08:24], [08:42] - **Easy Bonus Turns with Empire or Night Sisters**: Achieving bonus turns is straightforward with Darth Vader's Merciless Massacre or a Night Sisters team. The Night Sisters, in particular, gain numerous bonus turns through their kit mechanics. [09:47], [10:03] - **Jabba Team for Disarm Feat**: If you have the Jabba team, it's ideal for the 'disarm' feat. Jabba's basic attacks hand out 'blind,' and characters like Crokantine can perform the disarm, simplifying the process. [12:36], [12:50]

What's Froto short for?

Because he's a hobbit.

Hello everyone and welcome to another

episode of Zerith Prevails. Today we're

going to talk about how to unlock the

stranger without using any Galactic

Legends or new teams. Of course, we're

going to mention a few of the Galactic

Legends and stuff, but there are enough

guides out there that you can probably

find a way to unlock him. Uh if if you

have all the Galactic Legends and stuff,

you're probably it's probably pretty

easy for you anyways. But um this this

series has always been uh kind of angled

toward unlocking

conquest characters the the lazy way,

not not having to put a tremendous

amount of effort into it. And uh so

that's what we're going to do. Or having

like a smaller account that doesn't have

all the things. So no new teams, no

Galactic Legends. Um first off, huge

shout out to my patrons. You guys are

awesome and I couldn't do this without

you. Thank you guys so much for your

support, guys. I I really, really

appreciate it. And if you want to

support this channel for free folks, all

you got to do is hit that thumbs up

button, like, subscribe, comment. Let's

mount the algorithm together forever.

That doesn't sound ominous at all, does

it? Uh, so let let's go over this one

more time. Um,

you only need crate five. There there's

seven crates in conquest. Yes, this is

hard conquest. People ask this

sometimes. This is hard conquest. I

don't know what the other two are like.

Uh eventually I'll start a new account

and discover that joy for myself.

However, today is not that day. Uh this

is hard conquest. All the screenshots

you see are going to be from my alt

account, which is at 11 million, which

is like kind of late Midame. So, um it's

it's a little less and less relevant to

like newer accounts, but uh the the fact

remains and I've done this forever. You

can see screenshots from a long time

ago. And this is even I've even uh it's

it's lasted even longer, but it takes 6

months to unlock a conquest character if

you you get crate 5. And crate 5 is uh

relatively easy to get. I'm not going to

say it's really easy for every account.

It's not. but it's relatively easy to

get. And so there's kind it's kind of a

weird hodge podge. I I spent a little

time this time trying to clean up this

this uh graphic. Eventually I need to

just make a better one. But essentially

what it is is like I break it down. You

get uh in in the various conquests. So,

the first three conquests that you do

with that a new conquest character is uh

uh released,

the crate will in crate 5 will give you

50 shards of that character. Um, and

then after that, because it's like the

secondary character uh conquest

character, you get 25 from the crate.

But then also, if you get the pass, you

don't have to get the pass, but if you

get the pass, you'll also get 17 uh

shards of that character through in

conquests 1 through three. And then you

get 24 in conquest 4 through 5. So you

don't have to spend money to do it, but

if you don't spend money, you need to

spend basically all most or all of your

conquest currency on character shards.

All right, so you guys can read it more.

If you have questions, feel free to ask

in the comments. I'll try to help break

it down a little more. But um our goal,

like I said, is crate five, and you only

need 450 key cards. that that's like the

points that you get and earn in

conquest. If you want to get red crate,

which is crate 7, you need 630. So, it's

it's way reduced. It's way reduced. And

so, even though it's nice to get these

new characters right away, it's way

better if we can at least get them

before they are locked behind proving

grounds. That's that proving grounds are

so frustrating to deal with. And so, um,

anyways, we're, uh, we can get 330 key

cards from if we three star all the

nodes. I know that that's not always

going to be possible for everyone, but,

uh, it's going to be possible for a lot

of people, and, uh, for the most part,

we're going to be able to do it. Maybe

not on some of the bosses, I guess, at

the very end, but, um, I'll show you

guys like all we need is 120 uh, from

feats, and they're This one is pretty

easy, actually. Um, so we'll go over

that data discs breakdown. I haven't

updated this for a while, but feel free

to screenshot it. I I need to uh I need

to look through and uh choose which ones

are uh still belong on this list, which

ones still uh you know don't really. Um

it changes every time. They add new

ones, they get rid of some of them, etc.

rest of the these builds are kind of

old, but um I decided after after some

thought that I I would leave this list

in there cuz it's better than nothing,

right? So, um I do need to update this

though. I I'll work on that. Um in the

meantime, the next the next guide

hopefully it'll be updated. So, uh

sector one. Now, all of these sectors

are a little bit awkward in the sense

that you have to keep certain pirates

alive. like you can't just complete the

fight when they started with you. You

have to have them survive the whole

thing, which is the tricky part, right?

Because a lot of these characters are uh

relatively new. Now, one of the things I

will remind you of though, you can get

them all to gear 12 or even to gear 13

before

they're fully farmed up. Like I I forget

now off the top of my head, like if

you're a fourstar, can you get him up to

third gear 13? I don't remember. But one

way or another, like trying to keep

Brutus alive, it Yeah, it's it's tough

to do. Um,

you you can probably do it in sector

one, hopefully if you have like a

Galactic Legend or something. I I didn't

check that as one of the boxes though.

None of the keep these pirates alive are

checked. Uh, if you have a good pirate

team, if you've gotten Ma, like a lot of

people do have it. My alt account

doesn't. I don't have Ma. I won't get

her. I actually got crate six. the last

couple times. Uh but I still won't have

her for like two more months. It's just

not that that practical. Um instead, so

sector one, keep in mind sector one and

two are the ones that if they're a huge

hassle and they're getting you down and

you can get other ones in the later

sectors, then maybe just don't. If

you're like, I hate doing stagger.

Stagger annoys the heck out of me. It's

only five key cards. It's not much. It's

the relatively smallest amount possible.

You don't have to do it. No one's making

you do it, but if you want to, uh,

stagger is not too tough to get. Uh, you

can get it from Mara Jade. You could do

like a Stariller team cuz even though

Stariller shines in GAC more than the

other ones, he still gives a lot of nice

boosts to his teams in other game modes,

just not just not like to a preposterous

level. So, uh, you know, a Stariller

team with Mara Jade is still going to be

significantly better than, uh, the same

team without Stariller. Um, you can also

do, uh, you can also use Sabine to do

her AoE, and that's actually that can be

really quick with the Phoenix team just

because,

uh, Chopper is constantly decreasing

their cooldown, so she can get several

of her AoE's off in a row to make that

happen. Uh the one thing to keep in mind

is uh you're going to want Captain Rex

for later uh runs with clones, though

that's that's in later sectors. So uh

you probably you probably have free run

to do this for a little bit. You do want

Captain Rex there. Um if you want uh so

the the all tanks team, if you have a

Jedi Master Luke team, you can probably

just find five Jedi tanks and destroy it

pretty easily. If you don't have Jedi

Master Luke, which I told you it's

without Galactic Legends, uh you can

probably use a like a team like this

Sith team where it's it's got Malgus,

it's got Malik, uh Sith Empire Trooper,

Darth Scion, and then uh the last one is

obviously he's not a Sith, but he's

really nice. He's a reactive character.

um the the B2 battle droid and then

he'll just spam as as you continue to

get hit. Then he's going to take bonus

turns and do AoE's and every time he

does his AoE is five attempts at doing

buff immunity. And honestly, he's the

one guy I would just say if you have B2

uh leveled up and all, get just using

him to spam buff immunity. I don't I

just don't think you you're going to

need it more. Um, for Brutus, if you

want to keep him alive, just keep him

with some dark side galactic legend.

And, uh, Supreme Leader Kylo happens to

have on basic, he does, uh, buff

immunity as well. So, you could do that

or not. I don't really care. Um, so

we're we're saying 18 key cards for

this. Uh, you I'm also just assuming you

have Commander Luke Skywalker, and I'm

assuming we're all going to be able to

do that one. I have no idea what the

bosses are going to look like. This is a

very oddly specific like prescribed

teams for all the bosses. I don't know

how they're going to go. So, I mostly

didn't check those boxes unless they're

uh widely uh unlocked and used

characters. So, sector 2, remember this

is the same thing. Five key cards for

these. So, they're not vital. Um bonus

turns. This one is the easiest one ever

if you know what you're doing. If you

don't, then it could be really

frustrating. Um, probably the least

awesome one, but the one that's most uh

approachable, most uh getable from a lot

of people is uh some kind of Empire team

with Darth Vader because he can do

Merciless Massacre and then he takes a

ton of bonus turns throughout the

Merciless Massacre uh mechanics. The the

other another one that works really well

is Night Sisters. You don't need that

you don't really need the Great Mothers

for anything specific this time. Uh but

remember she does take a bonus turn

every time she uh like she takes a bonus

turn at the start to to give doom to

someone. She gives a bonus turn to uh to

bless someone and then she also every

time you kill the guy who's doomed then

you get she takes a bonus turn to uh

doom another character. So you end up

getting a lot of bonus turns there. Or

if you do have the frog team the gun

guns you just get this one like

automatically. you get it in like one

one turn like or one fight. It It's

crazy actually. It It is actually

bonkers how fast the the guns do it for

you. Um otherwise getting days to

people. Uh one thing you can do

passively which is really nice and

satisfying if you can find an Imperial

Troopers team which they're not uncommon

at all really. Uh they they're always

giving each other bonus turn meter. you

can just use an ADRAD team and they

passively give themselves days and you

just get this like in one fight as well.

It's it's really fun. Um otherwise you

can give you hand out days with the dark

trooper mob Gideon team like crazy. Um I

think that screenshot is actually from

my main account for what it's worth. My

my alt doesn't have it. Um and then if

you want to keep Vayain and Silva alive.

I think this is the probably the worst

team suggestion I've ever given. I don't

think it's end going to end up doing

that well cuz I I screenshotted it when

I didn't realize they had to still be

alive on this one. They have to both

survive. This one is the most skippable

one in in all of in in all the land. Um

unless you have a good pirate team. This

just seems like if you have a bunch of

gear 12 pirates that they're just going

to be a huge hassle. Um and then so for

the boss it says when using only Kylo

Ren, that's like the OG Kylo Ren. I

assume you need his Zeta to do it. Um,

probably wouldn't recommend applying

that Zeta just for this boss unless you

desperately need three key cards, but

yeah, I guess you could. Um, okay. So,

sector 3, this is where key cards start

uh getting more vital because they're

you get 10 for each of these feeds. So,

um, all right. So, disarm is such a

relatively new debuff. There's only

three characters in the game that

actually do this debuff. CX2, which is

one of the new clones. Cursantin, which

he's been around for a while. And then

Recker uh the mercenary version. And if

you don't have those uh geared up, like

they're all relatively new. So uh if if

you have the Jaba team, then this is

this is like a custom build sector for

Jabba because you can do uh if if you

just spam Jaba basics, he hands out

blind to people. Um, and then also you

can um you have Croantin doing the

disarm. You can also do blind with

Chupio if you would like to. Um, you

also get evasion down for the global

feat with Chupio. Uh, one team I didn't

put on here, but it works really well.

It because uh Saw Saw takes a lot of uh

he takes his turn early and often and he

does once he does his AoE. um not the

once per game AoE, but just as normal

like the the a yeah you know the AoE

that reduces turn meter and stuff. Uh

that's also a an AoE for blind. Uh so

that works. Clone kills. Honestly, this

could be kind of a hassle. Like I

wouldn't recommend trying to use Lord

Vader even if you have the Lord Vader

team because Lord Vader is the one that

kills people or the DOTs are the one

that kills people. Uh and that doesn't

attribute any kills to the actual

clones. Instead, I would use old school

clones with Captain Rex. That that tends

to be really effective and um it works.

Uh also, Bad Batch, if you have them

worked up and you have a fast echo, it

can work depending on which data cards,

data key card, whatever they're called,

um that you have. So, that that can

work. And then keeping keeping keeping

SM33 can work um with with like a Moz

Canada team or if you don't have Moz or

Hondo, you can use you can use uh Ethano

and company like you could see my alt

has a bunch of these all the way up to

relic one. It's really impressive, I

realize. But remember, he has to live

live. And remember that uh there's one

global feat where SM or where where you

need 100 profit, which isn't that tough

to get if you have a pirate team. Just

remember that SM33 doesn't get profit

ever. He like that's that's one thing

about his kit. He never gains profit.

No, no one can give it to him. He just

doesn't gain it. Um so he doesn't help

with that global feed for what it's

worth. Um all right. So, sector four,

you have to keep Quigles alive. Again,

if you have pirates, then great. If not,

then it's probably skippable. I didn't

check that box on it. Um, the battle for

no tanks in the squad. This is really

nice because you can you get evasion up

and no tanks. The CLS team doesn't have

tanks and it's still really strong. Um,

and you get evasion up with Han Solo

doing his like shrug move or whatever it

is, the buff for everyone. You get five

uh for that. And also, you're getting um

you if if you want to double it, by the

way, you could probably find some way to

finangle like Grandmaster Yoda onto the

team. And whenever Han does his shrug,

then have Yoda spread that buff around

and give it get another five versions of

that out. You could or uh you know, you

could just march through this. Um, you

also get the evasion down uh debuff from

Chupio

every time he does his basic, which is

part of his um which is part of his uh

part of our global feats, right? And

then uh damage over time. If you have

Tuskkins,

this is so easy. Uh like you just get it

almost immediately. It's it's just like

right away you get a ton of damage over

times. Um,

and um,

though, uh, now I'm reading this, it

says damage over time effects on enemies

with an ability. May maybe that's just

trying to discount that discclude the

Tuskkins. If that doesn't work, I guess

you have to go old school and use Darth

or yeah, use Darth Vader or or Lord

Vader. And uh, that that could be way

more miserable. So maybe skip that one

if if uh, Tuskkins don't work. uh sector

five.

So, um win 10 battles with CX2

surviving. So, this coincides nicely

with the uh like win 20 battles with

four dark side clones. If you have a

Lord Vader team or like if you trust

Tarkin with those four clones, then

awesome. Uh this is the time to do it.

And um yeah, you you'll be able to

double dip there. And then tenacity down

and defense down. You can get that with

the Ufu team with Seir and Cal. And then

like you uh Ben even does on his basic,

he does defense down. Cal does does

defense down on on basic and then

tenacity down from Cal with his AoE. Um

Mara hands out tenacity down. There's a

lot of characters that do tenacity down.

Um and then if you want to get 10 wins

with pirates, then I guess just use

whatever pirate team you have or just

skip it. I didn't put the check mark

down um for it. of global feats. We have

um a few interesting ones. So, uh the

one I skipped was uh win win 40 or 20

battles with four dark side clones on

the on your squad. Probably something

you can kind of just skip. Evasion down

80 times. Uh you can you can get that

pretty quick. Apparently, my graphic I I

kept the uh I accidentally have that red

writing there that doesn't have any uh

have any meaning for this particular

graphic. So, have have fun with that.

That's from last video, I think. Um uh

win 20 battles with a full squad of

Galactic Republic. I'm not your mom. I'm

not going to tell you how to do that.

That that's there's like a million teams

that do that. Uh you there's there's you

should have a Galactic Republic team

that that can do that. you should

probably have like five of those kind of

teams. So hopefully you have it. Um,

evade at least 200 attacks. I would just

suggest like for a long time just kind

of go through your battles without

worrying about this and then be more

intentional about it toward the end uh

of conquest if you haven't gotten it yet

because you're going to get a lot of

them passively. like it's going to kind

of be a waste if you're very intentional

about getting it in sector 1 and then

you you get it, but then you you didn't

have to be you didn't have to spend that

much time and effort to get it in sector

one when you could have gotten like at

least 50 of them passively throughout

your other fights potentially. um

gaining profit once again really easy if

you have uh like either pirate king

Hondo or Ma but if you don't which I'm

not assuming you do this is going to be

a tough one like get using Athano can do

it um and um otherwise so the evasion of

200 attacks just just to go back to that

one just a little bit um trying to use a

lot of foresight with uh resistance can

be really nice there um and stuff so uh

Not not too bad. So really out out of

all of them, we needed 120 key cards for

feats and I point pinpointed

187 that you can get pretty easily

without any new characters or Galactic

Legends mostly just ignoring the boss

notes as well. And so that means you can

there's like 67 from this from key cards

from just feats that you can kind of

just ignore which is awesome in my

opinion. Um, so as far as datacron

farming, there is a video that I'll have

linked in the video description if you

want to. Um, if you want to check it

out, just uh free to play how how to use

datacrons and stuff. Um, and you can

read all the things about it if you if

you don't want to do datacron at this

point. Either you like them or you

don't. They've been around for for a

long time, like 3 years now or something

like that. It's it's been crazy. So

anyways, that's it. Uh, I hope this was

helpful. Uh, I I hope you're able to get

the stranger unlocked early because he's

he looks good, man. Um, but like the

kid, not not him. Just kidding. Um, he's

an actor. I'm sure he does look good.

But one way or another, guys, that I

think I'm going to let you go. Thank you

all so much for watching. And remember

that in all things, Earth fails. Take

care folks.
