[Music] hello everyone today I wanted to share with all of you one of the most impactful products that have been developed to provide a smooth transition
between the analog and digital in the field of architecture the vibe S1 smart whiteboard offers a wide variety of uses that can assist Architects during All
Phases of design one of my favorite features of the Vib S1 is the ease of connecting my computer using the vibe tab to experience my computer through
the 55 in Vibe touchscreen with a simple plug and tab this feature allows Architects to access their 3D digital models on the vibe board and Trace over
any of the active views which is not only a new design tool for the architect alone but a new collaborative tool for Architects owners and contractors to
communicate and record their thoughts in real time while navigating the model there are many apps available to use on the vibs one but one of the most
important for my workflow is the vibe canvas app which is an application that can essentially cover any view on the screen with a layer of trace a
fundamental architectural concept that is no less valuable today as it was during the Renaissance whether you're working with Consultants colleagues or owners the pen
is as simple to use as any other analog whiteboard pen out there the latency is excellent and is ideal to use to mark up
plans renderings details and anything else you may need to mark up keep in mind anything noted and drawn on the canvas app can be saved and sent to
whomever requires the markup so whether you need to send out layout revisions to the engineers or updates to the draftsman you're covered collaboration
on the vibe board is a simple as passing a pen when working remotely or collaborating by video conference the same Concepts apply the canvas app
allows all parties on the conference call to see your sketches in real time and experience the vibe Smartboard virtually I love using the shooting star
pen tool on the canvas app to demonstrate Direction and movement such as the path of the sun or flow of spaces this is a feature that is easy and
effective on the vibe board that simply doesn't exist in the analog world however you like to collaborate the vibe is ready to accommodate your style and
flow when working with clients the vibe board allows me to capture preserve and share all of my sketches reflecting my clients's wishes in a single
markup this means that all changes are also picked up by every member of the project with a simple share there a regular practice through our schematic design phase is to present multiple
schemes to the owner for review this can often be a lengthy process and ultimately is completed when the client's interests intersect with cost and
feasibility this process requires coordination between many different trades and Specialties that the vi board streamlines while enhancing team
Synergy so if your client wants to change the layout of the bathroom you can send out the sketch to the draftsman engineer as well as the contractor for
pricing marking up floor plans during a meeting has never been so easy the screen is as large as your construction documents and you can even zoom in if you need
to the canvas app also offers a feature to Google image search directly through their app so you can insert Google Images into the canvas you are sketching on while
conferencing this is particularly useful when looking for inspiration while discussing design elements with clients but there really is no limit on how this feature can be utilized in the
field of design whether you're creating a vision board for a space or looking for a reference detail on Google for a markup the vboard has no limitations on how it can assist your design process as
intuitively as possible redlining drawings once was a very freehand experience when we all used to mark up our large format drawings with red pens but in this
digital age the free hand has slowly made its way out of the mix while Architects struggle to sketch with the limited tools available on computer programs the vi board has brought free
hand sketching back to not only being relevant but a design tool that is undeniably part of the process marking up plans with a pen with the Leisure of
being able to zoom in and out is in and of itself a game changer then having the ability to share that sketch seamlessly through the vibbard is
a turnkey solution to a lengthy process all I have to do is save the redline sketch and upload it to the project board for my draftsman to pick
up when working with contractors one of the most important obligations that the architect must meet is responding to rfis When contractors request more
information on details sometimes a sketch is all they need to get the answer they are looking for the vi board allows me to communicate my thoughts and collaborate
with contractors in a way that was not possible before all it takes is to pick up a pen and draw once complete I can open the project board on the Monday app
and upload the sketch onto the open RFI and update the status to complete RFI answered with a sketch and share so no matter the phase of design the vibe as S
one smart whiteboard is a versatile product that will transform your workflow and make every part of the design process intuitive as it should be
