Video 1: A Life Full of Forbearance but without Anxiety (1)

okay in the past we have uh quite a number of additional messages given

to this boat after the Philippian training tonight we will have

these two messages will all be given probably under the same subject a life

full of forbearance but without anxiety after

we get into the first three chapters of this book I mean after we get into the depth of the first three chapters

when we come to chapter four especially at the beginning of this chapter we would think

the tone as all the words used by Paul Express

well it's not so high as that in the first three chapters in first three chapters you have this

kind of a word to leave is Christ to magnify Christ

to take Christ as the parent throughout shine Falls

the word of life then in chapter three you have this high standard word

Excellency pursuing right now you come to chapter four what do you have

very very common word right very common word rejoice in the Lord let your forbearance know and torment

this is not too high ain't nothing the anxious I would say rather this too low right

this is too low uh I suppose you are pursuing after Christ tour the goal for the prize when I say

times don't worry about anything you will say brotherly get away from me I don't need this kind of teaching he's too low

it's too low right I'm pursuing Christ do you want to go I'm pursuing what the out Resurrection

now I am in Resurrection and in the outward Direction about anxiety it's too low I don't know you

expositors say that this sentence indicates the Lord's coming well

he's coming but that doesn't mean too much he's near he's near means what

right here so James says the Lord is at hand right hand

he's here right right well the teachers of the Bible may say the Lord is coming

is very near to us on the way well maybe though maybe so I don't have to see differently but anyhow Paul didn't

say the Lord is coming tomorrow is coming soon he is on the way very much near to us

he only says what the Lord is near then foreign [Music] be anxious

but in everything let your forbearance be known to all men you have all men in nothing

be anxious you have nothing but in everything

let your request be made known to God nothing in everything in the midst of all these almond nothing everything

is the Lord who is near right you have all men here and you have nothing here

and you have everything here in the midst amongst all these all men nothing and everything the Lord is near

what is this thank you have you got it you may say these are not high standard rares

but these are high standard words or not I must tell you you cannot make it you cannot

have your forbearance you cannot and you cannot in nothing the

anxious you just cannot you don't have the ability to be anxious in nothing you don't have

the ability and neither you can make your request be knowing

you see to God you say no brother I can't make it I can pray don't I don't lie to me

many times just cannot pray you cannot pray you say a prayer is easy prayer is the hardest thing

to do all this thing you need to learn the secret to learn the secret and you need to be

in the one who empowers you amen I just say a little bit as an opening word

I don't think tonight we could get on anxiety we live anxiety for Friday night Wednesday night there's no anxiety here

we only keep the dear one forbearance here oh dear forbearance don't leave us tonight

again I will say rejoice then let your forbearance be known to all men

now you can see the continuation continuous disease based upon what we have in the three foregoon chapters

we must stand in the Lord don't get out of him then you may say probably

do I know how could I know that I get out of the Lord how could you know I tell you as long as

you you are not one with certain brother in the church with certain sister in church I tell you

you are now in the Lord right practice speaking traditionally you are in the Lord all the time for eternity positionally

no one can change your position in Christ but practically [Music] um you may not remain in the Lord

how do you know that you are not remaining in the Lord because you at least are not one with certain Brothers

and at least you are not one with your sister with one of the sister you are not one with a sister

with a brother in the church I tell you you must realize that is what that is an exposure to you that you are outside of

try to rejoice trying to rejoice you're trying to rejoice you couldn't make it sometimes you take three nights

forbearance has nothing to do with anxiety if you could exercise for bearings

oh well I just cannot go on too fast because this is not a Doctrine

this is very much touching it touches our real situation it touches our what our

entire being in our Christian Life mm-hmm you know the other day I asked Olivet foreign

but not so easy for you to exercise your forbearance toward your wife what is the real meaning of this word

forbearance it is a word of course many Greek words are like this

which is hard to get an equivalent the Greek words miss this means what strictly speaking it means

you are easy to be satisfied wait last then

your deal d-u-e azy satisfied with less than what you should get

if you go to the best Greek lexicons or Bible knew it has been words studies they may all tell you this

this is in contrast with what with being exactly just

the end of the word exactly are you are just bruh you are exactly just demanding all the time

that is just contrary to forbearance forbearance means what you have no Divine you don't demand anything on others no

do you mind whoever the other party will do to you you are satisfied they are just satisfied

are they alive gives you a cold drink or a hard drink

forbearance I tell you is a matter that compresses all the Christian

virtues if you don't exercise forbearance you have no Christian virtue I suppose Ellen

your wife does serve you a cold drink against your will I guess you wish I guess your desire

and you say don't you know I got cold just this much you lose every bit of Christian virtue right just this much

if you you would be by Christ easily satisfied with anything right

just for your health probably wouldn't take the cold drink but you exercise your forbearance not to say anything not to complain not

to condemn not to extreme not just anything but just what be happy satisfied

here in this forbearance you have every beat of your Christian virtue I'm right oh the verge of patience here

the virtue of humilities here the virtue of self-controlled here the verge of

looking to the Lord is here the virtue of admitting that the Lord is solving everything

if the Lord didn't allow Mickey to serve you a hot cold drink and she could never get the glass The Sovereign of the Lord

your son the Lord you have to say praise the Lord for the cold drink Hallelujah for the cold drink even I cannot take it I have to say

priests are very good you could see forbearance I tell you is what forbearance oh

is a virtue that comprises all Christian virtues all the ugly things

that come out of our Christian Life is due to the short of forbearance why you don't love because you have new forbearance you see

forbearance you too too great so this is not a loose tender word just because we don't understand this

word we don't understand what tears the forbearance in Paul's language

we should consider her situation right you must exercise the reason bonus right

the considerableness right you're it constantly why you don't answer this why are you getting mad why are so hard to be satisfied the Lord is near

how do you got it Maya yeah and you can situation when we would realize that the Lord is near I

think we will have a turn right we will have to turn we realize that the Lord is near

the Lord is near we will have eternal right we will turn from our natural

whole creation to what to which is expressed by the forbearance

amen amen for Jesus the Nazarene to live a life full of forbearance that needs the Divine Life

the knees the resurrected life you said fine he lived it resurrected life he lived a life in Resurrection and

that life is just forbearance they've got it the forbearance is just expression of a

life that is living in out Resurrection not in ourselves not in the old creation

but in the new in the out Resurrection and this is expressed by forbearance

light your forbearance be known to all men it is not Jessica and patient Within but something expressed people can know

people can see this is the proper Christian belief and this is Christ and this other reflection expressed through
