We consume more information in one day than a person in the 1500s did across their entire lifetimes. This information

overload leaves us feeling overwhelmed, not really sure how to get started with making sense of the world. With

artificial intelligence, social media, and other technologies accelerating faster than ever before, it can feel as though we'll never be able to keep up.

The information builds more and more every day, leaving us feeling paralyzed on how to get started with filtering the information in a helpful way.

Thankfully, these technologies also provide us with tools to filter this information, turning it into knowledge.

A way to turn chaos into clarity, ideas into action. All you need to do is take

into action. All you need to do is take that first step. Learn how to use these tools to build your own personal knowledge management system, a second brain, to keep up with the world in a way that actually aligns with how your

brain works. But most people feel

brain works. But most people feel overwhelmed with taking even that first step, not really sure where to begin.

That's where I can help. Hi, my name is Callum, also known as Wanderloots, and welcome to my channel. I'm an

intellectual property lawyer and a patent agent who quit the corporate world to teach people how to build systems for thinking, learning, and creating. My goal is to help you reduce

creating. My goal is to help you reduce information overload with nonlinear thinking. I use the latest AI tools

thinking. I use the latest AI tools along with futurep proof note-taking systems like Obsidian to ensure your systems are compatible with the everanging technology landscape. As an

IP lawyer and a patent agent, I'm also very concerned with ensuring that your data is kept safe and private. Privacy

is a key consideration of my analysis of all the different tools that I'm using and how they fit into my knowledge management suite. I believe that we can

management suite. I believe that we can use technology as a tool to augment or boost our humanity and that it's very important to hold on to that humanity in the age of AI. I think mindful creation

is an underrated concept with intentional use of technology in a way that boosts our humanity. Getting

started with tools like Obsidian and AI can be daunting. So, I've structured my channel to help break them into easy to digest lessons. By subscribing to my

digest lessons. By subscribing to my channel, here's what you'll learn.

Personal knowledge management, PKM.

Build systems that reduce feeling overwhelmed with information overload.

Obsidian tutorials. Master workflows

from beginner to advanced, including incorporating various plugins to streamline your work. AI augmented

thinking. Use AI tools like Notebook LM to automate tedious tasks. Execute your

ideas, boost your brainstorming, and speed up your final output, all while holding on to your authentic style.

Digital identity and digital gardening.

Publish your ideas online by building your brand in public with a digital garden. Over the last few months, my

garden. Over the last few months, my channel has built into a community of like-minded thinkers. People who are

like-minded thinkers. People who are turning their notes into powerful systems and their ideas into action.

People who are interested in improving the quality of their lives with mindful use of technology. When I was working as an intellectual property lawyer and a patent agent, my job was to assess and monetize ideas. I did this by

monetize ideas. I did this by translating complex concepts into easy to understand language through patents.

I spent a lot of time finding the core of ideas, distilling the most impactful and valuable concepts into easily understandable frameworks. After a lot

understandable frameworks. After a lot of reflection, I identified three key ways that I could use these skills to help you as much as possible. One,

organizing knowledge in a personal knowledge management system in Obsidian.

Ideas need to live somewhere, and that's what notes are for. We can't keep them in our heads forever, otherwise they'll be lost to the chaos. Ideas are not linear. They need to connect to existing

linear. They need to connect to existing knowledge and to one another. That's

what Obsidian is for. Making those

connections so you can actually turn your ideas into action. Second,

augmenting that knowledge with different AI tools. AI tools like Notebook LM help

AI tools. AI tools like Notebook LM help me surface insights and boost my ideas.

They increase my output while holding on to my own human style. But these tools are only as good as the person using them. AI is constantly changing, which

them. AI is constantly changing, which is why I'm constantly evaluating the best tools that integrate with my knowledge management system in Obsidian to make smart connections and work with my notes rather than use AI to take

notes for me. Third, expressing

knowledge easily through a digital garden. A digital garden is a

garden. A digital garden is a frictionless way to share selected Obsidian notes onto your website for free. It's by far the best way that I've

free. It's by far the best way that I've ever found to publish my ideas, writing, art, and thoughts online. By taking the time to share your thoughts on ideas, you learn the concept better yourself.

To help you get started with these concepts, I've created a series of playlists that target each of these areas of interest to help you level up your note-taking knowledge and tools as much as possible. These videos show you

how I actually use these tools in real life while providing you with the essential context so that you can not just do what I'm doing, but learn and apply it to your own system in a way that works best for you. Taking the

theory and making it practical. I'm

constantly exploring new technologies and tools as the world continues to innovate. So, I'm excited to keep making

innovate. So, I'm excited to keep making videos that show you my thought process and help you learn along the way. I can

only provide you with the tools and frameworks. It's up to you to actually

frameworks. It's up to you to actually use this tool and make it practical and applicable in your own life. We all

think differently, so it's up to you to build a system that actually makes sense for how your brain works. A personal

knowledge management system or second brain that actually helps you filter information and make sense of the world.

It's up to you to take that first step and ask yourself, what could I do if I had a second brain to offload my thoughts and ideas? What would it feel like to not be overwhelmed and burnt out? I try to put out at least one video

out? I try to put out at least one video a week. So, please consider subscribing

a week. So, please consider subscribing to stay uptodate with all of my tools, systems, and frameworks that I talk about in my videos. Feel free to ask questions in the comment section of any of my videos and I will do my best to

help you. Thanks again for watching and

help you. Thanks again for watching and I will see you in the next video.
