Hey everybody, this is Dr. Brooke Goldner and I just need a moment to make sure I am live everywhere and we will get to this wellness Wednesday in just a

moment. So grab your water bottle, hang

moment. So grab your water bottle, hang on for just a sec and once I verify it all,

we will get this going. All right, let's see. We are live on

see. We are live on Smoothie Shred. We're live on

Smoothie Shred. We're live on Instagram. Tik Tok's here.

Instagram. Tik Tok's here.

And let's see. And Facebook, too. All

right. Sweet. It looks like we are live everywhere. Hello again. This is Dr.

everywhere. Hello again. This is Dr. Brooer and welcome to Wellness Wednesday. For those of you who are new

Wednesday. For those of you who are new to my Wellness Wednesdays, especially now that we're streaming on Tik Tok as well as Instagram and YouTube and Facebook, this is how we tend to do do

this. So, uh, this is a public service I

this. So, uh, this is a public service I do to help the public with their health, physical, mental, anything I can to help you live a better life, reverse disease, be happier, whatever I can help you

with. And so, I come on every Wednesday

with. And so, I come on every Wednesday at this same time at 12:30 p.m. Pacific

time to do that. And since I am streaming on social media, you must understand that this does not create a doctor patient relationship. This should

not replace medical advice from your doctor. This is health education to use

doctor. This is health education to use as you will, but make sure that you're working with your own doctor to make decisions about your health. Okay. Now,

the way this works is I'm going to start out by giving some education on a topic that uh has been important to people that I actually take care of as my clients. So, I have wellness clients

clients. So, I have wellness clients from all over the world that work with me either through Zoom visits or in programs like rapid recovery. And when

there's issues that come up that I help them overcome, I also like to bring that topic to folks online to see if I can help you maybe use that information for

yourself in your own life and your own healing as well. Okay. So, I'm going to be teaching something today and then we're going to move into a question answer section. So, for the question and

answer section. So, for the question and answer section, I alternate between Facebook uh YouTube Instagram and now Tik Tok to try to get questions from

all the different areas to help all of you who maybe need a bit more information to help you with your recovery. And of course, I can't get to

recovery. And of course, I can't get to every question in an hour, but we get to a lot of good information. And then I'll be back next week as well. Okay. So,

it's good to see all of you here. It's

great to see uh Tik Tockers coming in as well as folks on Instagram and Facebook and YouTube. It's so good to see all of

and YouTube. It's so good to see all of you from all over the world. Uh thank

you D'Angelo Hunt just uh wrote um thank you so much. You've changed my life.

Well, that means so much to me and that's why I do this. It's why I come live uh every week. Um it's uh instead of seeing more clients that day or doing other things, uh it's making a

difference for people. And when you tell me that, then that helps me stay motivated to say, "This is working. This

is helping the public. Let me keep doing this." So, I do love and appreciate all

this." So, I do love and appreciate all of those comments from you all letting me know uh that this is helping you.

That really means the world to me. So,

here's what I was thinking about talking about today. Well, thinking about is

about today. Well, thinking about is what I'm going to do. Uh I want to talk about how anxiety and chronic stress impact healing and recovery. A lot of

times when people, you know, see me talking online and you know that that that what I'm most known for is creating the goodbye lupus protocol which rapidly

reverses not only my lupus, that's why it's named that over 20 years ago, but autoimmune diseases in people around the world and rapidly so. And so it's a a very exciting thing, but it's also

something that is widely available. I

published Goodbye Lupus in 2015. I have

been talking about and releasing all the information about my protocol through to the public since then because I believe it's a public right to be healthy. And

so I never hide those things behind a payw wall. Uh it's why I do so much free

payw wall. Uh it's why I do so much free coaching for the public. I think human health should be a a human right. Uh

especially as someone who is sick for so much of my life. It means a lot to me to help people get well. So the nutrition is a big thing and it's what a lot of people want to ask me about.

[clears throat] But um what people don't realize is that most of the work I do behind the scenes is actually helping

people with the emotional part of their health because the nutrition is actually fairly simple. You might not find it

fairly simple. You might not find it easy. It depends on what you like for

easy. It depends on what you like for your taste and your food and whether you have food addictions and we can talk about that maybe on another wellness Wednesday about food addiction. But the

uh nutrition is fairly simple straightforward, right? hyper

straightforward, right? hyper nourishment. We've been teaching that a

nourishment. We've been teaching that a long time. Very, very straightforward

long time. Very, very straightforward and it's very effective. It is simply the nutrients people need to optimize cellular repair and immune function. And

as I said, I've really said to the public many years ago. So, when people come to work with me, usually they don't need to know what the protocol is. They

already know what it is. They learned

about it already, either through my online classes or my books or just coming on for all the different things that I teach on social media. They

already know the nutrition. Now, yes,

sometimes people need my help to figure out how to optimize it for them. So, for

example, I've published reversing endstage kidney failure, getting someone off the transplant list in six weeks.

I've helped people get off dialysis.

I've helped people bring kidney function up even to normal who were not yet in endstage, right? So, that is something I

endstage, right? So, that is something I specialize in. And in those cases, they

specialize in. And in those cases, they can't just eat the same foods and the same amounts as everybody else, right?

because their their uh their kidneys can't handle it and they're going to have hypercalemia, too much potassium in their blood. If they try to drink the

their blood. If they try to drink the amount of water I say, then they're going to drop their sodium levels.

They're going to get edema. So, yes,

some people will come to see me to have me specialize or personalize it for them. But the majority of the folks who

them. But the majority of the folks who come to me, it's really more about how do I get myself to do this? How do I get myself to stick with it? and what

gets in my way. So, there are some folks and why I wanted to talk about anxiety today is that folks with anxiety actually tend to do the nutrition really well. It turns out if you're an anxious

well. It turns out if you're an anxious person, you also tend to be someone who wants to get it right. And so, a lot of times they are getting the nutrition pretty close to right. Although, there

are some folks whose anxiety is so bad they un they will do the opposite. I'm

so scared I'm going to get it wrong, I won't do it. But generally speaking, a lot of folks with anxiety are so worried about getting it right that they've read everything I've ever written. They've

watched all my classes and they know the protocol, right? They know what to do

protocol, right? They know what to do for the food, but they find themselves struggling to get results. And what they don't realize is how much of an impact

the anxiety is having on their physical health.

Something I think everyone can relate to. Have you ever had a day where you

to. Have you ever had a day where you were really really stressed out?

Something really big and emotional was happening and you were just exhausted, like felt like you must have run 10 miles, but you didn't. You were just kind of sitting around on the phone or

talking to people, but you feel physically drained and exhausted. That

gives you a little bit of a hint as to what being very anxious or stressed does to your body. Uh, do you get TI distress? If you're very anxious, do you

distress? If you're very anxious, do you get diarrhea or do you get constipated or bloated or pain in your gut? It's

because anxiety has a direct effect on your actual body. And when somebody has an anxiety disorder, not just an anxious day like something stressful happened

today, but an anxiety disorder or stress disorder or or a trauma disorder where the anxiety and stress is high every day, it actually rewires

your body from head to toe. And that

will sometimes be the cause of illness, right? So, there are some folks where

right? So, there are some folks where once we're working together, they realize my anxiety is a reason I got sick. I have been under so much stress

sick. I have been under so much stress for so long. I could tell this is what triggered it. Sometimes people will also

triggered it. Sometimes people will also know a big stressor caused my problem. I

was doing well and then I got divorced or then I got um you know I I lost somebody that I loved or I moved to a new country or all these other things.

So sometimes people can trace it back.

But the other thing that happens with chronic anxiety and and emotional stress is that folks struggle to get results.

So when I first came out with Rapid Recovery uh many many years ago, it was a four-week program, unlimited access to me by phone. And I still have my four-week private rapid recovery

program. But in the beginning, it was

program. But in the beginning, it was just focused on the nutrition. It was

let me teach you how to get this right and let me check what you ate every day to make sure you got it right and that you're getting results. And what we found is that there are a lot of people who got results very quickly right

within the 28 days. That's how I figured out the 28 days was how long does it take for me to get results with people.

Um but then what I found was that there were a lot of people who had high anxiety levels [clears throat] or emotional stress and they struggled. Uh

they had good days, they had improvements but it was a lot slower.

And being a trauma specialist before I became a specialist in how nutrition impacts cells and immunity, I saw the patterns and I realized, oh my goodness,

they're going to need to get their emotional health up higher in order to experience the rapid recovery that their body wants to do but can't because of

the anxiety. And so that's why rapid

the anxiety. And so that's why rapid recovery turned into something different. the four-week program very

different. the four-week program very much based on the person. Not everybody

needs to have that kind of work and so we personalize it for the person. In my

rapid recovery group, it's it's a part of the education. So, we have an app and so when someone's in my rapid recovery group every day, um I pop up with videos

for them to watch to retrain their brain into well kind of like one mine, right?

I trained them into how to deal with stress, how to deal with anxiety, how to embrace gratitude, how to become more optimistic, how to feel powerful and and

in charge of their life. And what they find is, as you'll see in a lot of the testimonial videos that people post is that their anxiety goes away because they realize that they do have power,

they do have control, they embrace their hope, and their diseases get better. And

often they'll say as excited as I am that my kidney function is back, that my pain is gone, my arthritis, I can wear my rings again, the biggest change in my life is because of the anxiety going

away and being able to be present and happy. So I want to talk to you a bit

happy. So I want to talk to you a bit about how that works. So when you have chronic anxiety, um, one of the most important factors that's going to affect your immune system is that it actually

blunts your cortisol response. What does

that mean? Well, cortisol normally is something that comes when we're feeling stressed, right? And usually it will

stressed, right? And usually it will suppress inflammation, okay? But when

anxiety is chronic, the receptors become resistant. Maybe you've heard of insulin

resistant. Maybe you've heard of insulin resistance where your body no longer responds to insulin and you have type 2 diabetes. Well, you can become resistant

diabetes. Well, you can become resistant to cortisol when it's chronically elevated. And so that leaves your immune

elevated. And so that leaves your immune system in this always on state and releasing pro-inflammatory cytoines. And those pro-inflammatory

cytoines. And those pro-inflammatory cytoines will start damaging healthy tissues. So how many of you right now,

tissues. So how many of you right now, and you can let me know in the comments, like how many right now hear that and go, I think my chronic anxiety might be causing some of my autoimmune disease.

those pro-inflammatory cytoines that are damaging tissue might be triggered by this anxiety. So that for a lot of

this anxiety. So that for a lot of people can not only create or trigger autoimmune disease but keep it going.

All right. So it's really important to address that. Now the other thing that

address that. Now the other thing that happens is when you've got the chronic anxiety it will reduce your parasympathetic activity. So that's parasympathetic.

activity. So that's parasympathetic.

Think about it as like rest and digest, right? You're not stressed. Rest and

right? You're not stressed. Rest and

digest. Hey, that rhymes. Okay. Now,

that is a that will create a constant tension. If you never get to rest and

tension. If you never get to rest and digest and instead you're always fight or flight. All right. That is going to

or flight. All right. That is going to create more inflammatory proteins as well. And it will accelerate

well. And it will accelerate inflammatory illnesses like autoimmune disease and also things like heart disease, right? Have you ever heard of

disease, right? Have you ever heard of someone having a heart attack and they go, "Oh, it was the stress." Well,

stress doesn't cause, you know, a clot to happen, [clears throat] right? But

what happens is stress creates more inflammation which will then affect it'll create inflammation in the blood vessels which can then affect um

formation of the blockages which can then lead to the eventual heart attack as well. So inflammation now is being

as well. So inflammation now is being considered one of the primary causes of heart attacks as well, right? Heart

disease. So inflammation is a big deal and again if you're constantly in fight or flight instead of getting some rest and digest time you are actually creating pro-inflammatory

uh damage on your body. All right so it's another reason why it's really important. The other thing to understand

important. The other thing to understand is this also affects when you're unstressed it affects blood flow to your gut. So some foods can kind of already

gut. So some foods can kind of already know that like oh when I'm stressed it affects I have gut pain. Um I have found that even I've had incredible consistent

results reversing Crohn's disease, for example, and ulcerative colitis. And in

those folks, I know that I can't just talk about nutrition. I also have to talk about their stress because there's always a component of anxiety or stress in the folks that have these

inflammatory bowel diseases because for them, the majority of that inflammation is really affecting um their their gut.

And so, it's really important. It's also

considered one of the causes of things like leaky gut, which you've probably heard of a lot as well, and can lead to more flare-ups of things like autoimmune diseases.

There's a lot of studies now connecting, you know, leaky gut, inflammation in the gut, and autoimmune as well. And so,

it's not so much cause and effect as just this feedback that goes through your system that when you are really stressed and anxious, it's going to feed

back on all these different areas. Okay.

Now, another one uh that maybe maybe sounds familiar to you, maybe you've heard it before, is it can also compromise your immune response. All

right? So, when you're acutely stressed, normally you're relaxed and suddenly stress comes on. Uh you can actually spike an immune response that could be helpful. But again, as you've remained

helpful. But again, as you've remained in a chronic stress state, you actually become more vulnerable to infections. Uh

think about it this way. Have you ever had a big stressor in your life? uh

maybe you were studying for finals or something and you were very stressed and then right afterwards you got a flu or something, right?

Because your immune system was compromised by the chronic stress. And

the other one uh that people often don't realize is that there's a feedback loop that can cause inflammation in the brain itself. It's called a neuroinflammatory

itself. It's called a neuroinflammatory loop. Um, and so these changes will

loop. Um, and so these changes will affect things like the size of your amydala, which affects your emotional state and how you process fear, for example. And that will make more fear,

example. And that will make more fear, more uh more anxiety and fear responses happen. So there is So I hope you're

happen. So there is So I hope you're starting to understand why I spend so much time with people talking about and

processing and working with people um on their emotional [clears throat] health and not just here eat these foods. And for a lot of people come to

foods. And for a lot of people come to me they said that was the thing that they were missing that they realized they needed was okay I've been eating all this broccoli. I've been drinking my green smoothies, but I have been in

fight orflight every day. And they

didn't realize how much it was impacting their ability to fully recover. Okay,

let me just check something right here.

All right.

Okay.

I'm still getting used to the Tik Tok algorithm, so wanted to make sure that I was streaming. Okay, there. Um, I want

was streaming. Okay, there. Um, I want to give you an example. I had somebody uh who did rapid recovery with me who had an incredible result. um you know, a lot of what she dealt with was health

anxiety and was not living her life fully anymore and [clears throat] it was triggering inflammation markers, autoimmune markers, which was making her even more scared. Uh but she wasn't

really participating in her life anymore. And after rapid recovery, she

anymore. And after rapid recovery, she started going on vacations with her family and enjoying her family again.

And that meant so much more than changes in blood markers, right? But one of the things that she had developed was really really interesting and it kind of made her truly understand how much her

anxiety was causing her to be sick. And

she got something that uh that an eye condition. Okay. So she she couldn't see

condition. Okay. So she she couldn't see properly. Things were dim and she got

properly. Things were dim and she got terrified like I'm going to lose my vision. And she went to an eye doctor

vision. And she went to an eye doctor and they agreed something really bad's going on with your vision. She got sent to a retina specialist and she di she got diagnosed with something really rare

called central cirrus retinopathy.

Sounds really scary, right? And what her eye doctor, this retina the specialist told her is this is a condition caused by stress and anxiety. And if you can

get your stress and anxiety down, then your vision will return. And that

finally helped her see like, wow, uh, I didn't realize truly how much my stress and anxiety was affecting me from head to toe. So quality of life to me is

to toe. So quality of life to me is number one, but then on top of that, of course, um, understanding how much it truly directly impacts your ability to

heal. So, if you're one of those people

heal. So, if you're one of those people where you're like, "Ah, I am eating perfectly, I'm drinking my water, I'm going to the gym, but I don't know that I'm getting better." And you realize you

are someone who either has uh chronic trauma response, fight or flight, or chronic anxiety, understand that this is going to be an important thing for you to work on. Okay. So, again, in my rapid

recovery work, that's that's the daily work is, you know, because we check every day what the everybody ate. That's

primary like what did you eat? Did you

meet the plan for food? Did you get enough sleep? All of that. What are your

enough sleep? All of that. What are your moods? But then on top of that, they

moods? But then on top of that, they have unlimited ability to write to us back and forth in the app to process all the other stuff going on with them and to be able to work on improving their

emotional well-being as well as uh the Zoom meetings that we have as well for people who need to get processed by talking to me versus um only just doing it through the writing part of it. So,

it's a really important part of it. if

you're and I understand that you know rapid recovery is an investment and everyone who's done it will tell you it's very worthwhile because it actually works but I understand it's an investment not everyone can do so if

it's not something that you're going to do to work with us make sure that's a part of the plan you're working on your own make sure you have a therapist that you know is effective and that you are working on it every day because you know

if you've been seeing someone once a week you know that it's very hard and slow to make changes once a week because maybe you're listening to your therapist for an hour a week and then you're listening to your own thoughts for the

rest of the time versus the people who work with me every day when you're doing this every day, you're going to get better results, right? It's like going to the gym. If you go to the gym once a week, you're going to be very slow to know changes, right? But if you're

working out every day, you're going to get that six-pack. So, it should be something that you're working on every day in addition to seeing your therapist. So, make sure that you're

therapist. So, make sure that you're doing that. The other benefits people

doing that. The other benefits people get is you know the fact that I am making sure they get their diet right and also managing their decision- making. I think that that creates a lot

making. I think that that creates a lot of anxiety and stress in people is like what does this mean? What does this lab mean? What does this symptom mean? Is it

mean? What does this symptom mean? Is it

normal for me to be feeling worse today?

Is it because of my period? Is it

because of detox? Um or is it a flare?

You know, so having having us there to be able to say no, no, no, this is normal or yes, you should check on this.

um that takes a lot of the anxiety and stress away as well because there's someone else watching every day and managing versus feeling like it's all to themselves. Um as well as making sure

themselves. Um as well as making sure people get it right and making sure people don't quit before the miracle comes right. So keeping people on it,

comes right. So keeping people on it, dealing with food addictions, all of those kind of things. So you know it's a really um important part of recovery.

And again, if you're someone who is otherwise happy, your life is awesome, you're married to your best friend, you don't have any other stress going on,

and it's just your disease, you apply the Goodby Lupus protocol, you're going to see dramatic amazing changes, even usually even usually within the first

couple weeks. But if you're someone who

couple weeks. But if you're someone who has very high amounts of stress, anxiety, trauma, make sure you're getting the help you need so that you can then get those benefits. Now, does

it mean you shouldn't do it otherwise?

Absolutely you should. The more stress you have, the more perfect your diet needs to be because you your body needs to the nutrition to heal not only the damage from the autoimmune disease, but the damage being caused by the stress. I

just went through all the different areas where stress can affect your body.

So, it's worth it to still optimize your nutrition and do the goodbye lupus protocol for the nutrition, but also do the other aspects. If you're working on your own, I do have a book called Goodbye Autoimmune Disease where each

chapter teaches you different aspects of the mindset work. And so there's definitely some folks who've worked on their own who said that that's what they did. They they did the nutrition and

did. They they did the nutrition and then every day they worked on another chapter or every few days and and journaled on the chapters to kind of, you know, help themselves work through it as well as seeing a therapist as

well. So whether you're doing it with me

well. So whether you're doing it with me or whether you're doing it on your own, make sure you don't forget this really important part of recovery, okay? It's

such an important important thing and we've actually had people do rapid recovery just for anxiety and depression. Um yeah, they're eating

depression. Um yeah, they're eating really strictly but because they want that kind of level of oversight. Um so

just make sure it's an important part and man being happy uh it makes everything else worthwhile you know. Um,

I just working with someone [clears throat] privately who I was trying to get her to do more self-care activities to increase her happiness.

And she said, and I said, "I want you to get happy now, even if you're sick." And

uh, and she goes, "I thought that that's something you do later once you get better." I said, "No, no, no. You'll get

better." I said, "No, no, no. You'll get

be better better faster when you get happier." So, it's something that um

happier." So, it's something that um that I really, really emphasize for people and I hope that that makes a difference in how you're looking at your health and recovery. Okay, that's what I wanted to teach you all today. And uh

and I hope that it was okay with you to spend uh some time on that. Um you know, whether you meet with me in appointment to just nail things down and get it right or you do something like rapid

recovery to really make that change rapidly within six weeks. Um the next group is August 21st. um or whether you're using my my free resources and my books, make sure that you're doing

something to address all the different aspects of your life and your health and not just food alone, okay? It's so much more than that. And if you get better faster because you're happier, you get to step down in your foods faster, too,

and add back other things. So, hey, it's worth it for that, too. All right? So,

now that I've uh talked about that, I wanted to also um make some time to ask answer some questions that folks are having as well. and um and then we can

see uh what people are asking in all the different areas. So, I'm actually going

different areas. So, I'm actually going to start with our Smoothie Shred group.

For those of you who are on Tik Tok or YouTube or Instagram, if you happen to be on Facebook or want to be, we have a free community. Uh it's a group called

free community. Uh it's a group called Smoothie Shred where people can all join and have free resources. We update our protocols there. We always update things

protocols there. We always update things as the years go by and we learn more and we have I mean, we've had thousands of people do it now. So, we're always updating things. Someone asked my

updating things. Someone asked my husband uh yesterday about something that was in good bi lupus that we do differently now. Um the basic protocol

differently now. Um the basic protocol is the same but we've added things like flax oil. I said yeah I wrote that in

flax oil. I said yeah I wrote that in 2015 when we'd had hundreds of results.

Yeah. We keep updating things. So the

Facebook community is a great place to go where you can see all of that and then everybody gets to support each other, share recipes and celebrate things that are going well as as well.

So, if you're in um if you happen to be on Facebook or want to be, check out Smoothie Shred. Okay, let's see here.

Smoothie Shred. Okay, let's see here.

Look at questions here.

All right, Emily is saying, "OMG, I was trying to sign up for an appointment to deal with my traumas, but I didn't know how to answer the food questions because it varies dayto day. I don't eat foods that are off plan, but the amounts can vary. Some days I don't eat or drink

vary. Some days I don't eat or drink much. I need your help. How do I deal

much. I need your help. How do I deal with these questions? I start keeping a detailed log, but I don't have many days. What should I do? Oh, Emily, if

days. What should I do? Oh, Emily, if you're talking about the form you fill out when you make an appointment, don't worry about it. What you could do is you could just fill out like all the different varieties of things you eat.

So, you could just write that breakfast, sometimes this, sometimes that. It

doesn't have to be perfect. We we ask people to fill it out so that when we meet with you, we have a sense already of what foods you're eating. And then

we'll confirm with you on your appointment. And then we'll be able to

appointment. And then we'll be able to tell you like, here's the stuff that you're doing that's good. Here's the

things that take out. But don't stress about that part of it if that's what you're asking. Don't worry about that

you're asking. Don't worry about that part of it. All right, let's see.

Uh Susan is asking, "Can you briefly explain what the rapid recovery group looks like on a daily basis uh for people who might want to sign up?" Okay,

so on a daily basis, um so you get uh access to the rapid recovery app. It's

really really cool. Uh Thomas Taglot uh was previously uh a software designer, so he made this really incredible, beautiful app. It's really beautiful.

beautiful app. It's really beautiful.

And so what happens is every day you can either use it on your phone or you can use it on a desktop computer or an iPad or device if you want to. Uh once you are given access to it, and you can't do

it off of Apple or anything, we have to send you it. So once you log into it, um when you first log in, you fill in all your information about yourself. You can

upload labs, anything like that that you want me to see and learn about you. And

then on a daily basis, um, one, you have the ability to ask as many questions as you have on a daily basis. So there's an area once you've put your first day in where you can write to, you can choose

who you're talking to. You can talk to Thomas, you can talk to me, um, and choose who you want to chat with and talk about whatever's going on in your life, whatever you need help with. Okay.

Um, then you also every day have you're going to be uploading well entering everything that you eat. So there's a little like part of it where you just can enter in here's how much I ate of

this, here's what I ate of this, here's what I ate of this. You can upload photos of your food, everything like that. So that's on a daily basis. You're

that. So that's on a daily basis. You're

going to tell us how much you slept, what you ate, all that kind of stuff.

Um, and in addition, like I said, you can write back and forth to either of us as much as you want to with your questions for yourself. So it went from being very group centered like when we first developed it, it was through

Facebook where everyone can see everyone's coaching and now it's pretty private because only you can see your coaching now because it goes directly to you in your app. Nobody can see what you

write to me and what I write back to you except us coaches and you. So it's

become actually private. The part that you realize there's a group part is when we do the Zoom calls. The Zoom calls, everyone in the group can come on and uh I teach kind of like when I do a

wellness Wednesday, but very specific to what they're going through in that group. Um and and deeper into their

group. Um and and deeper into their healing and then uh people can come on and get coached by me um as and we stay on until every person who wants to get coached gets coached. But on a daily

basis, yep, you'll be entering all of your food data and your sleep and your moods and all that. you'll be writing back and forth to us whenever you need to. And then on top of that, I'll be

to. And then on top of that, I'll be sending you uh videos to watch that you can watch at your own time of what I want you to learn about that day. And so

I have curated these over years. We

started this group over in 2017. So

they're specific to that day. And if

there's something going on with you personally, I'll also send you something like, "Hey, I really want you to watch this because this anxiety technique I think is going to help you." So you have like daily ones that come up and then on

top of that we can we personalize it even more as needed as well. So it's a it's a very intense experience. You will

be in my world for six weeks. You'll be

seeing my face every day. Um and uh and I'll be there to work with you every single day. Um that said, we've had

single day. Um that said, we've had people do it who are very busy because you can choose when you do that. You can

choose when you watch. You can choose when you write to me. If you write to me when I'm sleeping, I'm going to answer when I wake up, right? versus if it's during the day. But it's it's extremely interactive. We're at your beck and call

interactive. We're at your beck and call basically every day for the six weeks and there to make sure that you get the recovery that you're looking for. Um but

it's become very simple and easy now that we have the app. It's very very cool. Um and Susan also wants to know is

cool. Um and Susan also wants to know is the GA app good uh after rapid recovery?

Currently no. Um while that is in the works, we currently only have it for rapid recovery and then when you graduate uh you lose access to it. But

we are uh Thomas is I'll say we Thomas is working on developing something that maybe we can use for the public at large um as well or even for postgroup kind of

work. So that's in the works but we

work. So that's in the works but we don't have that yet. Okay. Um let me see here.

Uh Elelliana says, "I'm going to Europe for travel and I'm a bit concerned about how I'll meet plan. I'll be at a hotel, no kitchen. I usually do smoothies.

no kitchen. I usually do smoothies.

What's the easiest way to stay in plan?"

You can do this anywhere. How do I know?

because we help people from all the continents. Um so the biggest thing is

continents. Um so the biggest thing is to just plan for your travel, right? So

um for your hotel for example, look in the area of your hotel. Uh usually

there's always a market of some kind, whether there's an outdoor market. In

Europe, there's a lot of outdoor markets or or grocery store where you're going to get your food. Second, talk to the hotel themselves. The hotel probably can

hotel themselves. The hotel probably can make you salads and sometimes they can even make you smoothies. If there's a bar at the hotel, a bartender has a blender and they can usually blend things for you as well. So, um, a lot of

times when people are traveling, they just eat the food. And if you, you know, are low on omega-3 or something for a few days while you're traveling, especially if you're already doing well in your health, no big deal. Um, if

you're trying to recover in the moment, then pack it and ask the bartender, for example, blend this into the smoothie.

Um, but it's really easy to do while traveling. You just may need to simplify

traveling. You just may need to simplify your routine a bit, that's all.

All right. And Mary wants to know, "Can this help with excruciating bone on bone pain? I'm trying to avoid hip surgery."

pain? I'm trying to avoid hip surgery."

And actually, it can. So, that was one of the There's a lot of surprises that have happened over the years. And that's

what's been really cool. We first

started this for lupus and then RA and other autoimmune diseases and then people started uh joining my programs with heart disease and diabetes and they were getting better and in addition people who have osteoarthritis as well.

And so we have so many testimonies that you can even see on YouTube where people have said, "Yeah, I was supposed to get a hip replacement, but my hip pain went away. I was supposed to get carpal

away. I was supposed to get carpal tunnel surgery, but the pain went away."

So even with bone on bone, there is an inflammatory component. So uh if there's

inflammatory component. So uh if there's a inflammatory component, then you have the ability to improve it. So that's why you would use the nutrition to see how do I feel with the inflammation down. Is

it completely gone or is it just better?

Um, and also do things like physical therapy, doing foam roll release to make sure the muscles aren't too tight and pushing the bones together. Um, and we do a lot of that work with folks as well as helping them figure out every aspect.

Um, Thomas has had many different careers. Uh, Ed, one of them is as a a

careers. Uh, Ed, one of them is as a a major in exercise science and health promotion and an NASM trainer. And

[clears throat] so he's really good at also evaluating the structural issues to help people make sure that it's not just inflammation or even bone on bone, but also muscle tissue and everything else that can release it. So, it's definitely

worth doing.

Okay, let's see here. All right, let's come over here and see what folks are asking on Tik Tok. Welcome, Tik Tok.

This is only my second time streaming to Tik Tok. I've been streaming on YouTube

Tik Tok. I've been streaming on YouTube and Facebook and Instagram for years.

Um, so excited to join you here. Let's

see if any of you have any questions.

Let's see. And if you're enjoying this, throw a like here. Let's hope we get some more folks here. Um,

one person asked, "Can I get a doctor's note, excusing me, from jury duty?" Uh,

you can, but not from me on TikTok.

[laughter] If I am your doctor, then uh yes, that's something that doctors can do. uh they

can write they can help you get excused from jury duty. Um but uh not someone that you necessarily saw on TikTok, but if you're asking generally, absolutely.

Uh your doctor can help you with that.

All right, let's see here. There's any

other questions? Oh, Bu is saying, "Oh, that's me. Um I'm trying to stick to an

that's me. Um I'm trying to stick to an auto to I'm trying to heal autoimmune disease. Do I stick to just smoothies or

disease. Do I stick to just smoothies or plant-based in general?" Well, uh if you're trying to reverse autoimmune disease, the smoothies are just a way to get in what I call hyper nourishment.

So, uh, if you, um, if you go to smoothieshred.com, so you're on Tik Tok.

When this video is over, you can click my profile link, and in my profile link, you're going to see a ton of resources.

So, you can um, go to smoothiesshred.com, and you'll be able to see free recipes of how to uh, hyper nourish using green smoothies. You don't

have to use green smoothies, though. I

also have recipes where you can eat the foods that your body needs to heal. So

plant-based is the first step because you want to get rid of the inflammatory things that people usually eat. So the

animal-based foods, greasy foods, uh processed foods, right? And I use the word foods lightly on all of those. Um

hyper nourishment is about making sure you're eating the right foods that allow you to heal. So if you're not sure what those are, I do have an online class um six steps to reversing autoimmune disease with supermarket foods. I also

have a book, Goodbye Lupus, where I detail um what the foods are and why.

And if you're in Facebook in Smoothie Shred, uh, in our group there, we also update that as well. Um, one of the best things I could give someone at this point who are trying to reverse disease

is actually my recipe book. Um,

everyone's told me that's been a game changer. I used to just, you know, be

changer. I used to just, you know, be like, here, you know, eat this dressing or eat these smoothies. Make it simple.

Um, but if with the recipe book, you can at least know everything in there is uh something that's going to help you with your recovery. So, I have a copy of it

your recovery. So, I have a copy of it here. So, Goodbye, Lupus, Hello

here. So, Goodbye, Lupus, Hello Delicious. Um, it's on Amazon and

Delicious. Um, it's on Amazon and there's different versions of it. We

have like the depending on where you live. Um, we try to put the least

live. Um, we try to put the least expensive version out there, paperback.

Um, and then there's certain countries where they required color books to be hard cover or premium. And so, that's why you might see some different ones.

But, that's a great place to start because then you'll know that the meals you're making are going to help you reverse disease. So, I keep doing it and

reverse disease. So, I keep doing it and then come back and let me know how you're doing as well, okay? So you can come back each week and give us updates on how you're doing.

All right. And Plantiful Life is asking, "My family doesn't understand how stress triggers chronic illness. What's a good way to help them understand?" Well,

maybe uh you can have them play back a video about this. So right now, I know on TikTok once the live is over, it's gone. But I'm streaming this very same

gone. But I'm streaming this very same live on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. So, for example, if you go to

Instagram. So, for example, if you go to my YouTube page, uh, so it's YouTube.com/brooknerd,

YouTube.com/brooknerd, or click my profile link, there's a link to my YouTube, you can go to this live and have them just watch that education that I gave right in the beginning of this video and maybe that can start making a difference on their

understanding. But also, the thing about

understanding. But also, the thing about families is, do they want to understand or are they in denial or are they um, is there some toxicity in that

relationship? Are they gaslighting you?

relationship? Are they gaslighting you?

Are they not taking responsibility for maybe their part in things? These are

aspects of your life that I don't know.

But if you feel like no, they just don't understand and they'd be open to learning, then I have so many resources.

And I think today's video on uh if you watch it on YouTube, that might be a great place to start.

All right, let's see here.

All right. Uh, Plentful Life is also saying that my anxiety is triggered by having chronic illness, so it's been hard to navigate. And that I understand.

And that's a loop a lot of you probably connect to, right? Is that my anxiety might have led to some of my illness, but my illness is now making me anxious.

And so helping people be present is so important. Um, one of my four-weekers

important. Um, one of my four-weekers right now, it was the main reason that she decided to do my four-week rapid recovery is because she's having a health crisis and she got had to go to

the hospital and she's like, "My anxiety is out of control and I know if you're there with me, you can help me stay calm and focused." And so that's what we did

and focused." And so that's what we did in my four-week private program. You can

call me, text me as much as you want.

And so we've been getting on the phone almost every day and she's been able to stay calm and positive and in the moment, right? So, one of the big things

moment, right? So, one of the big things that I I keep helping her remember is the things you're afraid of are not things that are happening now, right?

Anxiety is things you're imagining about the future that could go wrong, right?

Versus depression is often related to things in the past that have already gone wrong. And the thing is both of

gone wrong. And the thing is both of those things are not happening now. So,

you know what I always will say is if unless you hate the sound of my voice, right now is okay. We're here together.

This is what we know. this is what's going to happen next, right? And that's

what we're going to focus on. What we

know right now, what do you need to do right now to get well? So, I need to eat my food. I need to do my self-care. I

my food. I need to do my self-care. I

need to get my good night's sleep. And

as I do those things, I make it less and less likely that those things I'm afraid of are going to happen. So, I definitely understand being anxious about those things. I mean, at 16, I was told I had

things. I mean, at 16, I was told I had six months to live from lupus nephritis.

That was very scary. Um, in my 20s in medical school, I was having many strokes. That was really scary. like, oh

strokes. That was really scary. like, oh

my god, am I going to have a major stroke? Am I not going to be able to

stroke? Am I not going to be able to become a doctor? Right? So, I understand it, but I've always brought myself back to say, right now, I'm still here and I'm going to live my life. I'm going to

be productive. I'm going to love. I'm

be productive. I'm going to love. I'm

going to learn. I'm going to volunteer.

All the things that matter to me. And if

those scary things happen, I'll deal with them then. And if they don't, I won't waste a good day worrying about them. And so, it's being present in the

them. And so, it's being present in the moment. That's one of the antidotes to

moment. That's one of the antidotes to anxiety. And it's something that you

anxiety. And it's something that you have to work on every day. You have to understand that the things you're afraid of, they may or may not happen. But if

you lean into thinking about the things you're afraid of, you suffer as if they happen and you get and you miss out on the right now is okay moments. So that

is an important thing that I I strongly recommend that you uh work on if this is a big part of it for you is the anxiety part of it. Um let's see here.

And then Ree says, "The water consumption is hard with an overactive bladder. This is g that's giving me

bladder. This is g that's giving me stress." I get that. You know, the the

stress." I get that. You know, the the one thing about um about the foods and the water and everything that I'm I'm teaching you is that uh I can't control

the fact that what goes in has to come out, right? So um so sometimes that

out, right? So um so sometimes that takes some work. Uh I've definitely worked with people with overactive bladders. There's also people who don't

bladders. There's also people who don't have bladder control like the folks helped with MS. Um, so sometimes we just have to do some planning around it. Like

instead of sipping and dripping all day long, have set times when you drink a big cup of water, knowing that you're going to time your bathroom visit 20 minutes later or whatever it is.

Sometimes it takes some structure to get the hang of it, and that's okay, too.

All right, let's go over and see all the things that YouTube is asking me here.

All right, let's see here.

All right.

Okay. So, Jennifer McKenzie on YouTube wants to know, "I'm following the Goodbye Lupus protocol by eating all raw from your cookbook and smoothie every day. My question is, is it possible to

day. My question is, is it possible to eat too much guacamole? I love it so much." No. As long as you're using the

much." No. As long as you're using the guacamole to get those high nutrient foods in, it's all good. Um, guacamole

is how I feel back then. I didn't have all the recipes. I just have big bags of produce and guacamole and I I ate it that way. Uh so that's definitely uh

that way. Uh so that's definitely uh effective. All right.

effective. All right.

Uh at Shelley saying, "I'm almost positive I'm sick with sugar and some constant anxiety, fear, fight or flight.

I've tried therapy with no help." Don't

give up on therapy. Okay. Um just like any job whether it's a mechanic uh a brain surgeon a psychotherapist a psychiatrist

uh everyone has different levels of effectiveness and there's also bedside manner and connection I personally feel that relationships are very healing uh

and that's why I spend so much time with people every day uh whether it's my 75 minute appointments or even rapid recovery being available all day every

day for six weeks weeks. Um, I feel like that is the connection that makes people feel safe to lean on me so that I can then help them with their recovery.

Right? So, you've got to find someone that makes you feel safe and heard that you're willing to really let them see your pain and also trust them to lead you out of it because that also requires

trust as well. So, if you haven't liked your therapist, I encourage you to still try again until you find someone that you really like um versus doing something like rapid recovery and

saying, "Okay, you know what? I'm

committed to getting rid of this illness and I'm going to work on my moods and my foods every day uh to make sure that I make a difference in my health." But

it's it definitely is a big trigger. And

if you've had a kind of a wakeup call from this, I'm glad that that that you can see that. Um let's see.

Oh, hi D SLE patient from Germany. Let's

see and another one on YouTube.

Um, oh, Carrie saying, "My sister had a stress induced heart attack." Yeah.

Okay. Takosubu. Yep. Cardiomyopathy. Um,

but she has a lot of inflammation. Yes.

And the stress leads up to it, right?

It's not like one moment, but leads up to it. So, absolutely. Okay, let's see

to it. So, absolutely. Okay, let's see here. Um, Facebook folks saying, "So,

here. Um, Facebook folks saying, "So, Robin is saying here, four weeks ago, I was given the diagnosis of having lupus.

About three and a half weeks ago, I came across you on TikTok. I went to your website and did the first six classes.

The next day, I started the smoothies and all vegetables and fruit. I've had

arthritis in my hip for two years. A

year and a half ago, I could hardly walk. A lot of pain. After 3 days, the

walk. A lot of pain. After 3 days, the pain has started to leave. After 5 days, I lost 10 pounds. That's all

inflammation. I'm sure uh with liquid cleaning my system out. Thank you so much for a and then it's a dot dot dot so I can't read the rest of it. Um

you're welcome and I'm so happy that you not only uh got the information but you used it and years of pain going away in days. Isn't it incredible? Our bodies

days. Isn't it incredible? Our bodies

know how to heal. They want to heal, but they need the ingredients to heal. And

so there you go. And yes, if you lose that kind of weight in a few days, that's inflammation coming down. And how

do you know the inflammation came down?

The pain came down. So, I'm so happy for you, Robin. That is so, so cool. Uh,

you, Robin. That is so, so cool. Uh,

Donna on Facebook wants to know, does the inflam do the inflammatory markers always show up in the blood work?

Unfortunately, no. And physicians, we still don't know why that is yet. So for

example, I saw someone today who has had he has PMR polymyalgia romatica and his inflammation markers are super high and that correlates with his pain. But then

sometimes even though they are inflammation markers, someone can have inflammation, they can feel it, we can see it and their markers are normal. And

all we can really say is for this person, we don't track the inflammation markers, but we don't really know why some people don't have those markers elevate even though, as I said,

sometimes you can see swollen knees and go, they're inflamed. So, if your ESR, CRP, if those markers are elevated when you're having a flare, then you can

track those markers coming down as part of your recovery. And if they aren't then you just track other things like antibodies for example to make sure that you are um getting those results. Of

course your symptoms will tell you as well.

Uh Leandra Bear good afternoon doctor watching you from Guana. I have

protocol. I tried protocol and you have and you have RA. So I need your help on what to do because I suffer from a lot of aches and pains. So, if you are uh

starting with protocol, um make sure since you're on Facebook, make sure you're in our smoothie shred group. So,

you have all this, you know, you get support from the community, you make sure you're getting the protocol right.

Um and hopefully this also helps you with understanding the stress component as well. And if you're really struggling

as well. And if you're really struggling to get it right, using those resources, um then you can always make an appointment with Thomas or myself to make sure you're getting it right. Um,

sometimes people need to make an appointment with a translator and make sure that they're getting everything uh right when they're from different parts of the world. So, um, that's all. But if

you do it and you following what I tell you to do, that pain should come down.

Um, so make sure that you are doing that. All right, Instagram, I promise I

that. All right, Instagram, I promise I did not forget you. Uh, let's see what Instagrammers are saying.

All right.

[snorts] All right. Uh, Deborah

Deborah Linland, uh, hi Dr. Gner. Would

rapid recovery help someone with thyroid cancer? My daughter just had half her

cancer? My daughter just had half her thyroid removed had and 39 lymph nodes.

Thank you and love you. Thank you so much. I'm so sorry that your daughter

much. I'm so sorry that your daughter has been sick and had to go through this. I'm sure it was really scary for

this. I'm sure it was really scary for her and for you and everyone who loves her. And if she's already getting the

her. And if she's already getting the medical treatments like surgery and everything else she needs, rapid recovery is a great idea to help her immune system support her recovery. So

it'll help her heal faster from the surgery as well as empower her immune system to go after things like cancer cells, right? So again, I'm not saying

cells, right? So again, I'm not saying to substitute for cancer treatment.

She's getting her medical treatments.

But we do know that nutrition affects cancer, right? We know that for example

cancer, right? We know that for example cruciferous vegetables that they can block uh cancer growth and even kill cancer cells in a petri dish, right? Um

we know that they affect inflammation and we know that if we get the immune system inflammation to come down, the anti-inflammatory immune system can help with damage as well. So, we've had a lot of folks with cancer do rapid recovery

and had wonderful results for their health as well as coming to us after chemotherapy and radiation to get themselves back to feeling like a person again and feeling healthy again. So, if

it's something that she wants to do, we would be very happy to help her with that. That's the biggest thing is

that. That's the biggest thing is whether or not someone wants to whenever you're asking on someone else's behalf, right? Um, let's see here.

right? Um, let's see here.

All right.

T-zoom says, "Lupa sucks." Yeah. Yes, it

does. Yes, it does. But don't let her win. Um, let's see here.

win. Um, let's see here.

A, thank you, Naomi. You're you're

literally my favorite. That means so much. That's so sweet. Thank you. Oh, a

much. That's so sweet. Thank you. Oh, a

lot of you were agreeing that you you are understanding the anxiety component.

Okay. Cat Catalina wants to know, "Does it matter what color flax seed we use?"

No, I buy whichever one's on sale. Uh,

so that's okay. Um, let's see.

Um, does your protocol work for SIBO and other GI issues? Yes, we've helped a lot of folks with GI issues. said, you know, so many of them were told by other practitioners that if you have gut issues that you shouldn't eat raw

vegetables, you should eat low fiber, low FODMAP, eat white foods. And they

listen to them. And not only do the GI issues remain, they might feel better while they're eating those foods, but if they try to eat anything else, they have the same problems, but it also makes them sicker because now they're eating

junk and they're malnourished. So,

absolutely. They have helped people u help their uh guts get back to healthy and normal and often they come off of low fib protocols. They're doing the opposite of what they were told to do and their guts finally get healthy

again. If someone's having issues then

again. If someone's having issues then we can help along the way. I can tell you I have enormous amount of experience helping people's guts through this because especially in rapid recovery when people are really doing aggressive

nutrition in the first two weeks we're dealing with guts as the primary thing people are trying to do. they're either

too full or or they're uh too bloated or they're uh having too many bowel movements, not enough bowel movements, right? So, uh reflux. So, we are

right? So, uh reflux. So, we are constantly helping people with trying to adjust it so that their gut can allow the food to come in and then it retrains the gut to be able to get fit and strong

and be able to deal with all that fiber and keep their health up.

All right.

Um, Fredo wants to know, does your program work for long- lasting kidney insufficiency with a GFR of 25 from a lupus kidney failure 27 years ago? So,

what I can say is I don't know if your kidney function can come up from there.

If any of your kidney function is lower because of inflammation or malnourishment, then it will come up.

Um, and we've seen that for a lot of folks where they thought they were at their max and yet it came up. Uh, but if it's been 27 years at 25, there's a good chance that you don't have a lot of

wiggle room for improvement. We'll know

if you do, but it can stabilize you and make sure that you don't get worse again. Because if this was caused by

again. Because if this was caused by lupus, we need to make sure that you say goodbye to the lupus so it can't ever attack it again and get you down so low that you then require a transplant or,

you know, a dialysis. So, it's still definitely worth doing.

Naomi says, "I tried it. It works very well. There you go. Um,

well. There you go. Um,

and Miss Sherry Colola says, "Will your smoothies help with extreme hair loss caused by grief? I lost four family members in a year and all my hair is falling out. Nothing is helping." Oh my

falling out. Nothing is helping." Oh my gosh, four family members. I mean, just grieving one person is enough to make your hair fall out. Uh, I'm so sorry

that you're going through that. Um,

usually stress induced hair loss happens three to four months after the stressor.

There's not much you can do about that because those hairs that are falling out now are from follicles that were shut down during the stress, which means their lifespan ended and they're falling

out. But you should be able to regrow

out. But you should be able to regrow the hair. As you reduce your stress,

the hair. As you reduce your stress, nourish yourself, those hairs should come back. So this is the end of the

come back. So this is the end of the life cycle of those follicles that were shut down during the stress. Now if you have ongoing stress and grieving and you haven't come out of it yet, then that's

an important signal your body's giving you that you need to do that. So talking

to a grief specialist, a trauma specialist who can help you come back to yourself. And that's something that I

yourself. And that's something that I know a lot about. Um, and there's people out there that can help you because uh, you know, I posted today on Instagram

about um, and on TikTok about uh, overcoming trauma, how I've overcome trauma and grief to find joy again. And

I was saying how, you know, that that old commercial, the I'm not just the CEO, I'm a member, you know, the hair club for men. Remember that? Well, when

it comes to emotional trauma and grief, uh, I'm not only an expert, but I've definitely had to overcome it myself.

And I hope that you're on the path to feeling like yourself again and allowing the joy and happiness into your life even as the grief lives there as well.

Uh the grief's going to stay, but it doesn't have to be everything. And we

can rebuild our lives and our joy again.

So I hope that you're in that place now.

I'm sorry you had to go through all that. Um Planfully Living's feeling the

that. Um Planfully Living's feeling the truth and the stress with healing.

All right, let's see here. [sighs]

And one more over here. Jamie wants,

"Help with my 8-year-old son's osteopenia after two years of leukemia treatment." Oh my goodness. I hope that

treatment." Oh my goodness. I hope that your son is in remission and doing well.

When it comes to bone loss, I actually just taught for ARP yesterday. So, AARP

hired me to do their their wellness um lectures for the seniors and it was so much fun yesterday. They're such a great group. Maybe some of you are here today.

group. Maybe some of you are here today.

Um and I was talking about bone loss. So

when it comes to bone loss, there is the nutrition component and the exercise component. Okay? So you can totally put

component. Okay? So you can totally put him on the nourishment protocol, smoothies and the raw foods and salads, everything that'll give him his vitamins, minerals, calcium, all of that

that he needs and then getting himself strong again. Um, so exercise is going

strong again. Um, so exercise is going to be really important for a kid. A lot

of the exercise is going to be playing playing games. Um, and making sure he's

playing games. Um, and making sure he's climbing and pulling himself, pushing himself, doing, you know, squatting down, doing all those things, but not making it feel like work. Um, there's

probably even kid PT folks that can help with that as well. I hope he's doing well. Your little eight-year-old.

well. Your little eight-year-old.

Okay, let's see. Let's go around again.

Let's see what Tik Tok is asking here.

Uh, wants to know what the website would be. Okay, so goodbyile.com. You could

be. Okay, so goodbyile.com. You could

always do that. But if you're looking for my free smoothie recipes and everything, when this is over, click my profile and you'll see that there's a profile link. And when you click that,

profile link. And when you click that, you'll see all the different things that I have and one of them is free recipes.com and you can click that. So I put all of the links into one link tree. So when

you click the profile link and if you want to participate in these moving forward, make sure you also follow me so that you get notified when I'm live and you can give us all updates on how you're doing as well. Okay? And that's

for all of you folks. If you want updates uh and you don't want to miss the lives, then make sure that you uh you follow me or subscribe if you're on

YouTube, for example. Okay, let's see here. Smoothie Shred, what else you got?

here. Smoothie Shred, what else you got?

Um Norah wants to know from Toronto. I have

OA osteoarthritis. Can change to a plant-based diet? Oh, so as I was just

plant-based diet? Oh, so as I was just talking about, absolutely. So, we did mention that for somebody else. Uh, our

protocol works really well for helping people bring down pain even from osteoarthritis because it's also inflammatory.

And Susan says, "Happy was day. I made

it 28 days drinking smoothies." Good for you. That's fantastic.

you. That's fantastic.

All right, let's see.

Um, all right. This one's a long one.

all right. This one's a long one.

Christine wants to know, "My daughter-in-law recently had her second baby, and just like his older brother, he was given introvenous antibiotics the first couple days of life for possible infection. At the age of six weeks, he

infection. At the age of six weeks, he finished his second round for a staff infection. I believe antibiotics have

infection. I believe antibiotics have their place but research I've done seems to show that when antibiotics are given to infants there's a predictable sequence which follows like gut issues

eczema and asthma um 17-month-old is already gluten intolerant has eczema what advice would you give to help her baby's guts and stop the progression

okay so listen infants don't have active immune systems yet and so oftentimes if they get sick the doctors will be very proactive with giving them things like

antibiotics because they don't have the immunity yet. Now, they get immune

immunity yet. Now, they get immune antibodies from breast milk. So, it's

really fascinating how a nursing baby kind of lets the mom's body know what they need and then the mom makes antibodies that goes in the breast milk.

But if it's something that's really severe, staff infection, something like that, and they're not getting better on their own, uh then they will often treat it. So,

it. So, knowing that they can still create their microbiome, they can still create a good health and immune system. So, I would say uh number one, make sure if they are

nursing, which at this age they should be nursing, I'd be looking at mom's diet. Make sure that mom is eating a

diet. Make sure that mom is eating a hyper nourishing plant-based diet. A lot

of times when the babies are getting things like eczema, it's because mom is drinking dairy, for example, and it's a reaction to the dairy. So, I would make sure mom is having a hyper nourishing plant-based diet for her own health and

to make sure that the babies are getting what they're needed. They're not getting anything nutritionally that might be creating more inflammation. And then as they get older, you can give them, you know, their own smoothies and and all

the wonderful plant foods and build health for them. So there's no reason to think they won't get there. Uh but

that's what I'd be looking at first. A

baby that young, I'd be looking at what mom is eating since her milk is a primary source of their nutrition.

All right, let's see here. Okay, let's

go over to back to YouTube.

Oh, there's an exciting celebration. So,

uh, Marjorie Hart 2232 said, "Because of your programs, I've gone from stage three kidney disease to stage one. My GFR went from the 40s to

stage one. My GFR went from the 40s to 92. It initially jumped up, but it

92. It initially jumped up, but it continues to improve. God bless you, Dr. G." That is what I'm talking about.

G." That is what I'm talking about.

Right. So, here's someone that I don't know who's following on YouTube, and she was able to get her kidney function up from 40% to 92%. Basically, you've got

factory reset kidneys, and uh and you did it using my resources. So, I'm so happy for you. Thank you for sharing that with everybody, too, so they could all see it and celebrate and get

inspired. It's worth it. It's worth it,

inspired. It's worth it. It's worth it, right? Um let me see here.

right? Um let me see here.

All right. Eat Plans 2000 says, "Hi, thanks for your time. I added smoothies to my mostly whole food, fully plant-based diet. I've been gaining

plant-based diet. I've been gaining weight slowly over the months. Any

ideas?" Yeah. Uh, I would number one, make sure your smoothies are the way I teach them, right? So that they're mostly greens because our smoothies cause people to have a faster metabolism. So if you are making them

metabolism. So if you are making them the way we teach you where they're mostly greens and omega-3s, a little bit of fruit for flavor, you're just creating a faster metabolism that will help you with things like fat burning.

If you're not, if it's mostly fruit, maybe anointed by greens or not quite that fruit, overdosing on fruit a lot every day over time could potentially do that. Good chance it has nothing to do

that. Good chance it has nothing to do with the smoothies. So, I would look at um what uh what else might be going on like are you less active than you used

to be? Uh sometimes it's just being more

to be? Uh sometimes it's just being more hydrated. People don't realize they were

hydrated. People don't realize they were really dehydrated and then they add in all this water intake and they're like, "Oh, I weigh more." Yeah, because you went from a raisin to a grape. You're

fully hydrated. Um, so I'd also be looking at what the other stuff you said mostly whole food plant-based, which means there's also other items you're eating that are not whole foods and are

maybe uh adding more uh you know, they're triggering your insulin levels that are telling you to put some fat on.

Um, or maybe you're working out and gaining muscle. So basically, I don't

gaining muscle. So basically, I don't have enough information to tell you exactly what it is, but I can tell you that the smoothie recipes the way we tell you to have them do not cause uh fat gain. So that is something you can

fat gain. So that is something you can cross off the list if that's the concern that you had. All right, let's see.

And and Judy Panel says, "Thanks for everything. I feel great. Is it possible

everything. I feel great. Is it possible to get off hydrochloricquin? Uh yes, for a lot of people it is. I recommend that you work with your doctor. All right. Uh

not every doctor is very receptive and some really are. There's a lot of doctors who follow me, who do my protocols, who get excited when people join. I get a lot of referrals from

join. I get a lot of referrals from doctors as well. Um but

not every doctor is aware or receptive.

So sometimes you have to talk to them and say, "Hey, remember how I was super symptomatic uh on uh on meds and then I changed my diet and suddenly I feel great." Well, I'd like to talk to you

great." Well, I'd like to talk to you about perhaps tapering some of these and seeing if I continue to feel great without them. So that's something you

without them. So that's something you should talk to your doctor on. On that

case series I recently published with all the people with lupus and sugars who got off their medications, their rheatologist took them off their medications. I led them on their uh good

medications. I led them on their uh good bioimmune protocol. They did rapid

bioimmune protocol. They did rapid recovery and all their symptoms went away and then their doctor took them off the medicines and they've remained off medication symptom free for years with no relapse. Right. So that's something

no relapse. Right. So that's something to work with your doctor on. But

absolutely a lot of folks are able to get off their medications and and still keep feeling great. So

all right, Jeem Martinez, you go and start this. Absolutely. All right,

start this. Absolutely. All right,

Tabby, I'm glad you made it.

Let me see. Oh, Nadim wants to know if I found Nancy. No, if your name is Nancy

found Nancy. No, if your name is Nancy and you signed up for my six week rapid recovery group, uh, you signed up, you paid for it, and you did not give me your email address or your phone number,

so I can't find you. Uh, so if your name is Nancy or you know a Nancy who signed up for rapid recovery who's like, "Why didn't I get any information? You I

don't know how you did it. I called the company and they said that no way you can pay without leaving an email address or a phone number." And then they found it went I don't know how she did it but

she found some kind of glitch in our system. They're fixing the glitch but

system. They're fixing the glitch but meanwhile I need Nancy. So if you know Nancy thanks for asking. Nancy let me know. Um all right let's see here. JSJ.

know. Um all right let's see here. JSJ.

Hi Dr. G. I'm week eight. Feeling great.

I'm anxious about my blood work. I

delayed my blood test another month because I'm scared to test positive for lupus and Hashimoto's. I'm strictly

following goodbye lupus protocol. Don't

let anxiety take you away from what could be an amazing celebration of your health. If you feel great, then you know

health. If you feel great, then you know you're healthier. And then you'll look

you're healthier. And then you'll look at your labs and your labs will tell you, "Do I need to keep going or did I already do it?" That's all. It's just

information, but it doesn't get to change how good you feel. So, don't let that stop you. Okay. Uh let's see here.

Thanks. We celebrate eating plans. I'm

glad for that.

All right.

And uh Kelly on Facebook, hi Dr. Brooke.

I'm being treated for antifhospholippid syndrome despite not having any markers in my blood. They put me on Warren due to the strokes connected to a growth on the mitro pal. Okay. Uh nothing shows up

in my blood, but I do have psoriasis.

They say a diet high in vitamin K is manageable with daily INR checks.

Question, have you had anyone do the protocol morpherin? And as a psoriasis

protocol morpherin? And as a psoriasis clears, is that my indicator my condition is improving because I don't have markers? Um, yes, we've had a lot

have markers? Um, yes, we've had a lot of people with warfare do our protocol.

I've talked about this a lot before, but the summary is basically you can either totally not worry about the the the connection of food and blood thinners by using another blood thinner. So, some

people will choose to use an injectable blood thinner or one of the newer blood thinners that does not have any dietary restriction and that way they can just eat and not worry. But yes, I've had some people who stuck with the warin and

they used the home INR m machine to make sure that their warrin dose was adjusted to go with their healthy diet and they were able to do it successfully as well.

Okay. And let's see Instagram and then we'll have to end this. Uh let's see.

Uh creative wellness agent says, "A doctor told me that eating meat will get rid of SIBO and candida." Fascinating,

but I don't know what they're talking about. Uh, so candida is an overgrowth

about. Uh, so candida is an overgrowth of yeast. Yeast have to be killed. So

of yeast. Yeast have to be killed. So

when there's an overgrowth of candida, yeast, it's important to understand, they will grow until they hit something else. So they they don't like to touch

else. So they they don't like to touch anything. So if you, for example, took a

anything. So if you, for example, took a lot of antibiotics and killed off some of your microbiome, we always have a little bit of yeast that lives in our gut. So that little bit of yeast went, "Oh, wow. real

estate. Whoa, there's so much room here.

And so they start growing and filling in the gaps until they touch up against some of those uh bacteria that live there. And so now they live there. Now

there. And so now they live there. Now

you can starve them. Yeast like sugar.

So if you stop all fruit, for example, and your candida and your symptoms go away, that tells you that's candida. But

then what happens is when you start eating fruit again, then they they get all excited and start fermenting again and they blow it right back up. So,

usually people in my experience do need to take something to kill the candida, whether it's herbal or whether it's medicine, and then take the probiotics to fill in the gap. So, you know, eating

meat won't kill it. That doesn't really make any sense to me. And same with the the intestinal bowel overgrowth. Um,

your bacteria will thrive when they're being fed the diet they prefer. So, if

you eat a lot of meat, you will grow bacteria that prefer meat. And then

those same bacteria might make you gassy when you eat vegetables. If you switch to eating all plant-based, you will eventually produce more of those bacteria that prefer plants and then uh than meat. And those are the healthier

than meat. And those are the healthier ones. And by the way, I mean, there's

ones. And by the way, I mean, there's research that's shown that the bacteria that prefer meat are the ones that release TMAO, which then tells your arteries to put blockages down that cause heart attacks. And that people who

eat plant-based or vegan don't have those bacteria. And so therefore, they

those bacteria. And so therefore, they don't have that TMAO. And that's one of the ways in which eating plant-based protects us from heart attacks all through the gut. But that's information for another day. I stayed on late today.

Uh but I wanted to make sure people got to ask questions from all the different places. So if you enjoyed this and you

places. So if you enjoyed this and you want to be able to keep asking questions, make sure that you follow me, whether you're on Instagram or Facebook or Tik Tok or subscribe if you're on YouTube, so that you'll get notified when I'm live and you'll be able to keep

up with all the content. I am on here every day uh with content to help you with your physical health, disease reversal, mental health. My goal is to make sure everybody gets the health that

they really want. I feel very very lucky to be sitting here with no relapse from lupus in over 20 years because of the things that I'm teaching you to do um and helping people all over the world celebrating with you all the recovery

that you're having. Uh it gives meaning to my life and to also the pain that I've experienced every time that I see people get well. So, I hope this means a lot to you and uh make sure that you follow me and if you need more

information, Instagram, Tik Tok, just click the link in my uh profile on YouTube and Instagram or YouTube and Facebook. There's a link with the video

Facebook. There's a link with the video that has all my resources. All right, I will see you all next time and I hope you have a great rest of your day.

Right, bye everybody and have a great day. Bye.

day. Bye.

And let's see. I'm saying bye everywhere. Bye Facebook. Bye YouTube.
